TL;DR The Bugatti Chiron and the Bugatti Type 35 are standout models, each representing a pinnacle in modern hypercars and classic race cars, respectively.
Bugatti Chiron
The Bugatti Chiron is often highlighted as a favorite among modern Bugatti models. It represents the epitome of luxury and performance in the hypercar category. While some people prefer other brands like Koenigsegg or Pagani for their supercars [1:1], the Chiron stands out for its engineering excellence and design. The Chiron's W16 engine and all-wheel-drive system provide unparalleled power and speed, making it a top choice for those who prioritize performance
[2:6].
Bugatti Bolide
The Bugatti Bolide is another remarkable model, known for being an extreme track-focused vehicle. This car has captured attention for its unique design and impressive specifications. Weighing around 1450 kg dry, it’s built for high-speed track use with exceptional mechanical grip [2:6][[2:10]](#sr-2-c-10]. Its development showcases Bugatti's commitment to pushing the boundaries of automotive engineering.
Bugatti Type 35
For enthusiasts of classic cars, the Bugatti Type 35 holds a special place. Launched over a century ago, it was celebrated for its superior design and engineering [4]. The Type 35 was a dominant force in racing during its time, admired for its lightweight construction and innovative features such as cast aluminum wheels that improved braking performance
[4:6]. It remains a beloved artifact among collectors and historians, often described as a work of art
[4:5]
[4:7].
Cultural and Historical Impact
Bugatti has a rich history that extends beyond just producing fast cars. The brand has been involved in various cultural narratives, including stories of legendary drivers like Elizabeth Junek [4:4]. The company's legacy is also tied to its craftsmanship and attention to detail, which have made Bugatti vehicles objects of admiration and desire
[4:1].
In summary, while opinions on the "best" Bugatti may vary based on personal preferences, the Chiron and Type 35 are frequently highlighted for their respective achievements in modern hypercar performance and historical racing pedigree.
Bugatti is a company and they make hypercars not supercars
👁️👁️🗯️️️️️In mid 2013, two car designers approached heir Tyree Hunt just weeks after he received a multi billion Trustfund near Charlotte NC. They agreed to partner with Hunt owning lump % Stock. Bugatti as we know it was founded then. Hunt wrote the song "I woke up in a new Bugatti" rapped by Ace Hood. Who was originally his alter ego as a rapper guy from the hood, turned billionaire, learning to fly jets Jet pilot. He designed the 3B logo and was sued by the Ball family for copyright/image. They settled out of court. Leading to Melo playing for the Hornets a team Hunt owned stock in. The song and celebrity YouTube Vloggers Mo Vlogs, Salamander, Shmee, Daily Driven, Super Car Blondie, Manny Khoshbin were hired by him to market the car. A fabricated History was created to help sell the cars. Anymore proof needed I got it!
And even then they aren't even a company any more, they've merged with Rimac @_@
55% is owned by rimac and 45% is owned by Porsche @_@
Edit I forgot to add porsche its self also owns 24% of rimac @_@
Nope. I like the Chiron and thats it.
Fuck no.
Edit: added the term “Fuck”
I'll take Koenigsegg all day every f'n day over a Bugatti. And then Pagani before the Gatti too.

This is the closest look I've seen at this monster. This is not your 'typical' bugatti, as if that's a thing. The pricetag is absurd obviously, but I have to appreciate the attention to detail, there's clearly a lot of work that went into the design of this thing.
I thought my R129 SL600 had the best startup noise with that long, high pitched, high speed starter motor cranking for just a split second longer than you think a car engine should (honourable mention to the BMW M73 V12)...
But this wins, forever. 10/10, no improvement possible.
A Tourbillon version of the Bollide will be god tier. Love me some turbo sucking noises but an NA V16 will sound the absolute business on the track. Like an angry V8 on steroids, meth, and just a dash of cocaine.
There's a video of Mate driving the Mistral on his IG. Check it out, it sounds so heavenly!
Nice to see another startup sound enthusiast around here; I've always loved the V12 Merc startup sounds, along with the insane sounding W16 Bugattis. Another great one is the Mclaren F1 GTR, with the lovely BMW S70/2 V12. Startup noise is around 4:48.
Both Misha and Mr. JWW have videos of one that they got rides in a red, tinted carbon at the Nurburgring GP circuit during a track day. Imma be real, I fucking love the gatdamn thing. It's so gutteral and pissed off. 😈😈😈
It looks like a fun car for track day use. The power is absurd and makes passing easy on the straights. The overall package is too heavy to set really quick lap times -- there's just no getting away from that giant motor & AWD hardware -- but it's got good mechanical grip from the slicks, and the way it pulls above 100 MPH is in a league of its own.
It's heavy? It's 1200kg
That's the prototype weight. The production spec weighs 1450kg dry
Has a video about the most insane track toy, has 0 seconds of the car actually driving.
Im on a business trip in Monaco and just saw one tonight sitting in the Bugatti showroom. An insane vehicle.
Max the Bug.
You want a good lambo, get the miura and MP-tune it. The Bugatti is nice maxed, so upgrade it until it is then buy the Miura.
but i need help getting the asterion
You don't.you need rng gods when you pop ads
I never noticed the safety wire along the side of the body, thats not something I've ever seen on body panels
“I make my cars to go, not to stop,” Ettore Bugatti once famously said. Those are the cables for the Type 35’s mechanical brakes.
I wouldn’t mind one of those Argentinian built reproductions..
Can’t remember the brand name, but they seem like an extremely faithful replica.
I’m traveling and don’t have access to my information at the moment but believe you’re referring to the Pur Sang Bugatti…
You believe correctly!
Pur Sang is definitely what I was thinking of.
If you ever want to see people driving them in real life, go to one of the antique car meets around Prague, Czech Republic. The Bugatti 35 was a realtime popular sports car in that country, thanks to a famous (to them) female racer. At one event I went to, there were 5 of them, all being still driven.
Elizabeth Junek; an impressive driver no matter of gender. She and Helle Nice had fascinating lives that revolved around Bugatti.
I knew Rene Dreyfus and the former pre-war GP correspondent for The Autocar, John Dugdale, and would visit them for lunch at Rene’s restaurant on my trips to NYC years ago. They would entertain me with stories of both ladies. Those were glorious days.
Agreed. A work of art. . .
It’s hard to dislike a Type 35. What could possibly be improved?
The distinctive cast aluminum wheels would absorb and dissipate the heat from the drum brakes that were common at the time. This allowed them to brake later into a curve, often passing the competition...
The drum was actually cast into the wheel, so when you got a fresh wheel you got a fresh brake drum as well, plus the pit crew could check the condition of the brake shoes and replace them if necessary.
I didn't know that, thanks!
1 of only 5 made. Such an amazing piece of machinery. This was at the St Louis Art Museum. I stared at this car for nearly 30 minutes straight.
They have come a long way….
4900 pieces later, finally finished. Super happy with this one, both my most challenging and most fun build that I’ve done. Big fan of the colors and details.
Can also proudly say that (almost) all functions work. Ride height adjustment did work, just not under the cars weight once I put wheels on. Kinda bummed since that was the feature I thought would be the coolest, but I got it set where I want for display, so not a huge deal.
I’ve done a couple of 1:8 mould king cars and generally they were great. A few pins and technic beams were tough to put together, but overall very impressed with them. If you check my profile as I added a few reviews in the ‘Lepin’ redit
I got this too, it looks amazing. But i got 3 problems with it - 1) difficult to assemble the two-parts panels, i had to use pliers. 2) nonexistent cable management, like nonexistent at all. The cables interfere with other parts of the build and i had to omit some of those parts in order to put cables inside the car somehow. 3) had to omit also the gear that connects to fake engine. Thats because the engine didnt work well and it would block the movement of the wheels.
Btw i got other 6 or 7 mould king big cars, and all of them are amazing, highly recommend, i like this brand. Recently i've finished the Pagani Huayra, it also looks beautiful. And also Cada is a good brand, now im building the AMG.
Can I ask, what’s your opinion of the general quality? I’m pondering purchasing a couple of sets as winter projects mainly due to Lego getting very expensive here in the UK
Overall, I’d say quality is just about on par with Lego. There were very few parts that fit loosely, while there were more than a few parts that I would say had arguably too much clutch. It’s a pretty sturdy set. There are quite a bit of panels/pieces that are two piece parts where the Lego piece would just be one, and a lot of those panels required pliers to push together fully.
There were also a number of steps where I feel like further sub-assembly would have made the build easier. A small hook pick was a life saving tool throughout the build, basically to hook the backside of beams or other parts while pushing pins into their respective holes. There were just a lot of steps where I could not fit my fingers to push pieces together without some type of tool. This was definitely the biggest difference from Lego to me, being very compact with tight fitting pieces.
With cable management for the motors, I have to agree with u/ExcellentStage1, that was a bit annoying. Most of the cables were a good bit longer than needed, which is better than too short, but finding a way to route and tuck the excess took some creativity. Fortunately I didn’t have any interference issues and managed to keep everything well hidden, but it did take a lot of time and my own problem solving to manage.
All that said, I still very much enjoyed it. While some parts were frustrating at first, it became much more oddly satisfying to figure out the challenges the further I got. And fortunately, I don’t believe I was missing any pieces, which was a pretty big win for me.
Thankyou
Excellent quality zero issues
Beast of a set!
That’s a great looking build!
I bought the G500 from Ali Express and it was an absolute s-show. Tolerances were way off, most parts took a mini hammer to put together and I ruined several pegs using pliers to pull them back out when I misplaced them because they were so hard to get out, the windows were caved in, the doors wouldn’t shut all the way, and overall it really put me off of Ali Express bricks. The ONLY nice thing about it was the stickers seemed to be better than actual Lego, at least putting them on. Yeah, it was only $36 but totally not worth the headache. I threw it away it was such garbage. Couldn’t even get the wheels off to save them.
I have a few Mould King sets in my Amazon wish list but was a little leery about non-Lego brick sets. Thanks for the details about the things that didn’t work out so well with the build. Makes me a little more comfortable buying from them now. Those are minor quibbles compared to to the Ali sets.
You’ll need a lot of cash and fusions for 6 Bugatti’s good luck
Lock-in 1 any bug will do, Lock-in 2, 3, 4 are all former prize or cash cars, Lock-in 5 is a prize car. All but the first crate will be cash crates. Don't even bother unless you have all cars + loads of resources, or bottomless pockets. All $uper Car $cience events are a cash grab.
If you're starting from scratch it'll cost $100s to Finish.
We may get lucky to get a Bugatti or two for gold coins, or a prize showdown to earn a Bugatti at xxxx trophies.
It'll cost me...$10.59 for the Mistral 🤫
Unless it's a showdown prize car
Obly seen a T5 for $10.59 when the Hoonitron showed up as a Starter Pack deal. It was after NM reset & caused general mayhem on my account.
As long as the SD doesn't deliver with the pop-up "You already own this car..." I'll be happy 😊
I'll go with Bolide since it's the only one I have. 😁
I have the Bolide (to get S6 for it), EB110 (which I am NOT locking in for lock in 1), and the Atlantic Concept
such a shame i only got 2 bugs fully or almost maxed, def gon have to pass thru this event unless im able to get 20 more mill in this game haha
You’ll also have to spend cash. You’ll have to get the Mistral or else you won’t finish the event.
they shoulda made the ss 300 a paid car honestly
I went with the Bolide in Slot 1 since I really want the S6 parts for it. I already had a maxed Pur sport, and a Veryron SuperSport and I don't really care about the EB110SS.
For slot 2 I went with the Atlantic Concept simply because it was the only other car I had for this slot
Redlines, got to be jewels in collection, thanks for showing!
That’s awesome 🤩
That’s out of this world! That’s awesome buddy 👍
Nice find!
Very nice , very nice indeed 👌
You put the W16 Mistral as the La Voiture Noire.
And the absence of any Veyrons is criminal.
No that is the la voiture Noir. Its a computer render so the colour is different to the real one. Look at the headlights and the vents on the hood.
La Voitire Noire isn't cabriolet as far as i'm aware (i know little about cars tho)
Yup, Veyron is the one that i was looking for
Too old for that line up
.still a badass mf car though imo
My Dudes 🫡
That’s not the La Voiture Noire.
Its a computer render of the la voiture noir so its not the same colour as the real one. But it definitely is not the mistral cos the vents and headlights are different
That's the Mistral isn't it?
No expert but I think you’re correct because the Mistral is the only open roof model.
You put Chiron profilée(1/1) as a regular Chiron.
The real Bugatti
Tbh it looks great. I love the colour and the side view is paralysingly gorgeous. When i heard coach built i was expecting something bespoke like the galibier or that front engined one. Though this is just the start. Hopefully the new customers of the Solitaire program are a bit more, creative. Still a bombshell of a car tho (and probably outrageously expensive)
is that Mistral? or some new model?
Bugatti Brouillard, based on the chiron as I've read somewhere
Thanks buddy!
Bhai even buggati's design are going down. Chiron and veyron were very good designs. However, the recent Tourbilon and this aboination are bad designs imho
To me tourbillion is absolutely beautiful. Much prefer it over the chiron
I would argue that most new hypercars don’t look traditionally pretty. Very controversially i hate how the jesko looks compared to the beauty that the agera was, but we all get used to the design eventually. The chiron didn’t have the presence of the veyron at launch but i think it has aged really well. The same will be for most of these
Im of the opposite opinion, I love the Veyron but never liked Chiron, but I like the other models based on Chiron like Mistral and Divo. I absolutely love the new Tourbillion's design and i think its the best looking Bugatti with the Mistral in the current version of the company.
I planned on buying it but due to ethanol blending in our country I’m gonna stay with my current car
Wise decision. I’ve heard that the fuel efficiency is not that good on this brand.
could you do twin cylinders? im considering upgrading from wagnor.
