TL;DR
Mangadex
http://Mangadex.org is frequently mentioned as one of the best sites for reading manga online. It is popular among the community because scanulators post their translations there immediately after they are completed [2:1]. The site hosts a wide range of manga, manhwa, and manhua, making it a versatile choice for readers
[3:1]. Additionally, Mangadex is praised for being free and having no ads, providing a clean reading experience
[5:2].
Comick
Comick.fun is another recommended site that boasts one of the largest comic libraries available [2:2]. It provides access to official scans and comics from popular scan groups, offering a diverse selection for manga enthusiasts. Users can also try http://comick.cc for additional options
[2:10].
Additional Resources
For those looking for more options, several other websites were suggested, including mangapill and mangafire [2:3]. A comprehensive list of free manga sites can be found on reallyneedcash.com
[2:3]. Tachiyomi was mentioned as a perfect site, although it has been deleted
[2:5].
Security Considerations
Some users expressed concerns about malware and NSFW pop-ups on certain sites [1:1]. To enhance security while browsing, using services like 1.1.1.1 or protonvpn.com was suggested
[2:8].
Mobile Apps
For mobile users, Manga Rock's app was recommended, especially for Android devices [5:1]. However, it's noted that Manga Rock might be slightly behind Mangadex in terms of updates
[5:1].
These recommendations should help you find a suitable platform to enjoy manga without breaking the bank. Always ensure your device's security when visiting new sites, and consider using VPNs or trusted apps to safeguard your data.
I want to read a couple of my favorite shows' manga, but can't afford to buy sets right now. What are some good free sites or apps I can read off of?
r/animepiracy
mangadex.org
weebcentral.com
I personaly use mangadex
ComicK da best
Tachi2jk
can't say... the last manga site I visited is now infected w/ NSFW pop-up....
Haven't read a chapter for the Revenge of the Iron-Blooded Sword Hound since he fought a demon with the Saintess...
Haven't read a chapter for Goblin Slayer: Year One since the Elf in the cave.
I don't want to infect my phone with malware...
This is so real lmao
I’m very new to reading manga, and while I would like to have physical books, I don’t have the money nor the room for volumes at the moment.
I’m wondering, where online is the best place to read manga. I have found a couple random websites for the choice reads that I have looked for, but I’m wondering if there are any websites that I can find where there is a large collection of manga that can be found. If not, what are some of the best websites that can be used in conjunction with each other to provide most mainstream manga.
Also, if there is somewhere I could potentially download manga and that is a better option than just looking on the websites, I am able to do that as well.
Any other advice is appreciated as I don’t really know much about where to find or read manga, so all advice is helpful.
You should try to visit: https://comick.fun
One of the largest comic libraries. You can find official scans or comics from popular scan groups.
Hi there, it seems that the domain has been moved to a different address. Do you have the new one?
check https://comick.cc
Edit: Here's a resource for full list of sites
https://reallyneedcash.com/free-manga-sites/
well, you can try mangapill or mangafire
The best place that is currently popular among the community is mangadex.org. Scanulators usually post their scans onto it immediately after it’s translated, and the site holds manga, manwha, and also manhua.
True but for first chapters it sometimes doesn't have the translation in english, which is weird
I usually read in portuguese there
Mangadex is ah
Bro what mangadex is goated
Tachiyomi was a perfect site but it sadly got deleted
the website is fine, but try to use https://1.1.1.1 or protonvpn.com
Can mihon be downloaded on iphone?
Usually on the home page it'll be showing whatever updated last, so if a scanlation group that TLs to Spanish uploaded recently then it would show. If you don't want to see that just go into the options and filter English only.
Hi there I'm looking for a manga site that's mobile and computer friendly, possible no ads and that's basically it I'm not really picky.
Hey guys! I'm just getting into manga and anime! I've been using Webtoon for the manga part. I need a place where I can find actual manga! Thank you. : D
Just click any links here, then use the site they are on
it’d be quicker to google it than make a post here lol
Lots of free websites online which you can just google search, wise download the my manga app
Mangadex is free, has no ads, and has a large data base that gets updated frequently.
Mangadex.com is a good one but to be honest I found it from others on this subreddit.
Mangakakalot
Viz, Kodansha, etc.
Depends. Mangadex is really damn good as other have said, but if you are on android i reccomend using manga rocks mobile app. Manga rock tends to be a few days behind mangadex on some manga, so keep that in mind if you use it.
What's the best website to read manga?
Mangadex
Try MangaPark. net that's where I read
Bet thanks
Scroll through the sub, notice that 90% of the posts all link to the same site. There’s your answer.
Mangadex is used, like Batoto then, as a "moral choice" as aggregate sites are hated by most scanlation groups for stealing their work.
It's great for recent, newer titles as their catalogue is much more complete but if you try looking for older or niche titles, it's a coin toss. The most egregious are the ones who have huge gaps in the catalogue or only a handful of chapters.
Naruto Digital Color edition is one example. Mangadex has Ch. 1-41 but then jumps to Ch. 172. On some other aggregates, the complete 700 chapter of it is accessible. This is one issue you'll find in that site a lot.
I mean, for those titles they are official releases.
Can u copy and paste
And if you're downloading them, what's a decent site to do so?
I mainly read on a kindle so I download the manga as CBZ file on my phone using Komikku (a tachiyomi/mihon fork), then convert it to the proper format using KCC (Kindle Comic Converter) and transfer it to my kindle via usb.
So you know of a good source for komikku?
Weeb Central and Comick are the sources I use
Downloading cbz files from nyaa or internet archive, converting to epub, then sending to the kindle cloud. It’s made it a lot easier to pick up a manga to read in my free time
Yeah I just grabbed a kindle and this was my plan. Just have no idea where to grab them from. Didn't even consider internet archive
I recommend Madokami, they have full volume scans in direct download format. Works well for Kindle layouts, since each volume becomes a "Book".
Use Kindle Comic Converter to convert cbz's to mobi, it activates Kindle's manga mode so you can read left to right, and makes images fill the display.
Oh i forgot to mention jnovels. Dling from that site is a pain, but they’re the most up to date and still faster than using a torrent with low seeds.
I just use apps to read
I have started downloading more and more.
I read at weebcentral dot com
The best manga site i have used, very high quality pages!
When i download, i use nyaa.si / nyaa.land / nyaa.digital
I really enjoy mangadex and was just curious if any other good sites exist. I have Viz media's membership, which is awesome.
I ask because there are some mangas that aren't on viz or mangadex.
Much appreciated once again guys.
Bato.to is similar to Mangadex as it works by people uploading there manga, some scanlation groups prefer it over mangadex.
Then there are all the other aggregators like mangaowl. If the manga is not found on any of these sights then it might be only on some Groups own website or it has torrent that hasn't been spread, but after that it probably isn't scanned from it's offical physical only release or it just isn't translated.
You can check on https://www.mangaupdates.com/ to see if manga has been fully scanlated it has mostly acurate up to date information.
I actually only use these two if the manga isn’t on Mangadex. Bato.to is the less quality version but it (used to) have no ads. Still better than 90% of other websites. Mangaowl usually has the most updated chapters
I would say bato.to is more for manhwa
Might be, but I have seen some who only upload there and have restricted uploading on their group here, little annoying but understandably their choice. There might also be more non English scanlations.
Recently I've been using comick . fun, has a lot of language support and usually good quality scans, also from what I can tell a pretty big selection of manga and manhwa.
Comick is straight rip from mangadex if something is uploaded or edited on mangadex it will come exactly the same on comick they just don't remove any chapters, and also take from other sources.
Hi, I am Comick's developer.
Thanks to Mangadex comic information as our main source, but Comick gets manga information from multi-sources too.
Currently, https://comick.fun has 20% title more than Mangadex.
And Comick uploads chapters faster than Mangadex. We have official scans too.
It is because our sites have different policies.
I use mangareader.to haven't seen anyone talk about so I don't know if its 100% safe but it is linked at zoro.to which I think is safe
Dynasty is the other big unofficial one that's not an aggregator
Man of culture
>paying for viz bad service and censorship
>"hello fellow fans do you have any other sites that have content I can stri... I mean sites for me to check"
This gotta be astroturfing, specially since it starts calling viz "awesome" and proceeds to ask for easy to google sites so you can target them for having your content in it. Nobody who wants more sites would be paying for viz and praising it here. Astroturfing is actually pretty common on reddit and its easy to tell since it tends to come from accounts with a bunch of generic threads trying to farm karma beforehand but people always bite those "threads"
What are the best websites to read manga?
Since OP already got his answer I should randomly post my favorite fake commercial.
since OP already got his answer I should randomly post my favorite song
Since OP already got his answer I should randomly post my favorite manga website.
What websites do you all use to read manga? I’ve tried a few sites in the past and then pretty quickly start getting alerts about how the site isn’t secure. I’d appreciate any suggestions!
Weebcentral is the best I’ve seen
Thank you!
