When it comes to choosing the best e-bike for someone who is 6'8" and interested in a specialized model, there are several factors to consider. The discussions provide insights from tall riders on their experiences with different bike models and brands, which can help guide your decision.
Fit and Comfort
For taller individuals, finding an e-bike that offers a comfortable fit is crucial. Many standard bikes may feel too small, especially those with smaller wheels like the RadRunner series [1:5]. For someone who is 6'8", a bike with a larger frame size, such as 64cm or higher, is generally recommended
[2:3],
[2:9]. It's important to ensure that the seat post height and saddle position can be adjusted to suit your height comfortably.
Specific Bike Recommendations
Several commenters have recommended specific bike models and brands for tall riders. The Trek Emonda, available in a 64 cm frame, was mentioned as a potential option for someone 6'8" [2:12]. Canyon bikes also offer XL and XXL sizes that might be suitable for taller individuals
[2:5],
[2:11]. Additionally, Dirtysixer is a brand that specializes in bikes for very tall people, with sizes available for individuals up to 7'5"
[2:7].
Customization Options
For riders who find it challenging to find a bike that fits perfectly, customizing an existing frame might be a viable solution. This could involve swapping parts such as the stem or seat post to better accommodate your height [1:3],
[1:5],
[2:9]. However, some users caution that modifying an XL frame to fit a much taller rider might not always yield comfortable results
[3:4].
Recommendations for Tall Riders
For those seeking e-bikes specifically designed for taller riders, Dirtysixer is highly recommended, although they tend to be more expensive [2:7]. Another user suggested checking out Canyon bikes, particularly the XXL sizes, as they cater to taller riders
[2:5],
[2:11].
Considerations Beyond the Discussions
Given your height of 6'8", it's crucial to test ride any e-bike before purchasing to ensure comfort and proper fit. If possible, consult with a local bike shop to see if they can source a suitable frame for you to try [2:2]. Custom-built bikes, while potentially more expensive, can offer a tailored fit that may be worth the investment for taller riders
[2:7].

Hey, I want to build a gaming PC that can handle 1440p gaming at ultra settings and deliver high or ultra performance for VR gaming.
My budget is 2 lakh rupees max.
Here are the components I’ve shortlisted (feel free to suggest alternatives if you think something better fits):
Processor: AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D ₹45,450

RAM: Patriot Memory Viper Venom DDR5 RAM 32GB (2X16GB) 6000MT/s CL30 ₹8,200
Graphic Card: Zotac RTX 5070 TI Solid SFF 16GB VRAM ₹83,135
Primary SSD (OS): Samsung 990 PRO SSD 1TB (Already have one)
Secondary SSD: WD_Black Western Digital SN7100 NVMe 2TB ₹12,150
Cabinet: (Not decided yet)
CPU Cooler: CORSAIR NAUTILUS 360 RS ARGB LIQUID CPU COOLER ₹8,040
Power Supply: MSI MAG A850GL PCIE5 Power Supply Unit, 850W, 80 Plus Gold, Fully Modular ₹8,465
CPU Cooler : Arctic Freezer III 240 GPU : Gigabyte 5070Ti Windforce instead of a Zotac SFF
Case Suggestions : Lian li 217 , Antec C3 / C5, Phanteks XT Pro Ultra , Montech King 95
Thanks for the suggestion but I will still prefer Zotac 5070 ti ✌🏻😅
I myself have the Zotac 5080 as well , but trust me when I say this Zotac cards provide efficient cooling when the slot is 3 or atleast 2.5 the sff has a smaller slot size , If you like zotac suggest u increase budget for Extreme Amp Infinity
I dont think this needs any more optimization this is good about the case its personal preference and on the gpu get a standard gpu not an sff version like gaming oc or solid oc
Thanks for the suggestion, but the non-SFF version gets more expensive. That's why I also didn't choose the OC version and instead selected the non-OC 5070 Ti.
Get windforce oc same price but 2% oc
Zotac 5070 Ti SFF Available at Deal Price - 82,800/- Check Profile for Deal Post Details.
It's currently available at ₹83,100 on your website.
Yes. I gave you a reddit discount 😊
This is 5120x1440 resolution and 32:9.
Also, VA panel, for anyone who wanted to know without clicking onto the website.
Not sure if it works for monitors but 10% CB showing with raukten
I can't help but feel like $450 would be a better sale price for this with monitor specs rising and prices falling, and OLED becoming much more affordable than it has in recent years.

Bildiğim kadarıyla 240hz veya 360hz den sonrasında insan gözü fark etmiyor kullanmadım ama 144hz den yüksek olanlar yine fark ettiriyor sanırım
Fiyat araligin nedir?
the only reason I ask is because what if my pc cant handle it.
No, you should always use native monitor resolution.
If you need to reduce resolution for performance just go to 1080 rather than 1440. Imo 1440 looks too weird on 4K screens, 1080 is close enough and benefits from being an even division of 4K so you don’t get weird AA output.
If your graphics card can do DLSS or FSR, do Quality and it'll run at 1440p and upscale it. If you don't like that, turn on Integer scaling in Nvidia control panel or AMD adrenaline and set your game to 1080p. It'll make it look like a 1080p monitor
The performance will be the same but the image on the 4K panel will look blurrier because it does not scale perfectly.
You’re going to want to set your res to 4K on a 4K panel then either use DLSS/FSR Quality which typically renders 1440p then will upscale to 4K. You will get a way cleaner image that way.
The same of course not. But a lot of people here blow it out of proportion. With modern hardware and software 1440p on a 4k panel specially on 27" is going to look great. Most people are already using DLSS/FSR/etc that's already going to soften the pixels a bit. I highly doubt most people would notice in a blind test in game play between the two.
I would still use DLSS and lower settings and stick to 4k rather than going down a resolution, 2k or 1080p.
Hi everyone! I recently uncovered my parents' old GameCube and I would like to invest in a proper gaming setup so I can properly play Zelda games on it. I also own a Switch 2 and if I could buy a modern monitor that could support inputs from both, that would be perfect.
I'm considering buying a CARBY adapter just so I could use HDMI for both consoles, saving me the cost of a component cable.
My budget is less than $500, what is the best recommended choice for a gaming monitor that quality-wise would support both consoles?
You could get a decent TV and the Carby for that money. 4K isn't really relevant for those systems, though the Switch 2 does support it. If you're stuck on the idea of a monitor then make sure you've also got a sound option. Any modern monitor should have at least one HDMI input and a decent refresh rate which will hopefully support the lower frequency of the GCN output.
I don't think any modern monitor will natively support GameCube inputs. Depending on region it's either composite, component or maybe RGB.
Your best bet is to get an adapter. They range from acceptable & cheap (third party component cables & a cheap converter should be under $50 easily, and in my experience offers a similar experience to internal mods for hdmi) or you could try and hdmi adapter/mod. I believe the hdmi adapters are either not great or very expensive. An hdmi mod is somewhat expensive (like $50-100 I think), and not easy to do for a beginner.
I'd pick a monitor that works for switch 2 and then get some kind of adapter for GameCube.
Remember to consider audio. I think switch 2 has a headphone jack you can use, GameCube can't. So you'll either need a splitter, a monitor with built in speakers or a monitor with an audio out jack (which a good one should have, but not all do!)
I'm now hunting for a 4K monitor for both working (photo/video editing) and gaming. I'd like something with
About OLED/IPS: I dont care much tbh. I just want a great 4K monitor that feels worth every penny.
So, what are your recommendations as of today?
Msi or asus are the top two imo...theyre constantly upping the game...I have the msi mag321up which is their 32in 4k 165hz qd-oled, got it when I had my 12600k/3080 12gb build that my wife uses now...im planning on upgrading to the 322urx for 4k/240 and specifically dp2.1
You gaming or creating content with it?
why didnt you mention Dell?
Over the years just had bad luck with Dell so not one I recommend anymore
Id recommend the Asus ROG Swift PG32UCDM. Its a 32 inch OLED with really good contrast and great Adobe RGB coverage. Its pricey but worth it imo
Thanks. how it handles HDR content?
like every oled right now - 'ehhh we support it'
I've been pleased with the Omen 32 inch QD-OLED. 90 percent office document usage. Found it more pleasing to use than the Dell IPS Black (the newest 32 inch version). I had both of them, side-by-side for a week. I tried everything to make it so the Dell's text looked sharper and I just couldn't tell. The QD-Oled looks sharper perhaps because of the glossy screen.
Here are a few options based on the most recommended monitors in this subreddit, updated August 2025:
1080p
Acer Nitro KG241Y – 24", IPS, 180 Hz, 0.5ms. Budget 1080p option with great value. The Dell G2524H is a small upgrade with better build and 280 Hz if you can find it. For esports, the Alienware AW2524HFD overclocks to 500 Hz and is top-tier if you want max smoothness.
1440p
One of the best overall budget monitors is the LG 27GL83A-B – 27", IPS, 165 Hz 1ms with FreeSync. The Acer Nitro XV271U is a strong budget alternative, and XV272U bumps refresh rate to 240 Hz with slight color tradeoffs.
The best mix of price/value is probably the LG 27GR83Q-B 240 Hz, 1ms. FreeSync Premium, and solid motion clarity, with very good colors. The LG 27GP850-B is cheaper with a still-excellent 165 Hz panel and long history. ASUS ROG Swift XG27AQMR is a really good high end IPS 300hz monitor for 1440p competitive gaming.
For OLED, the 2 favorites are Alienware AW2725DF – 27", QD-OLED, 360 Hz. Superb colors and contrast with 3-year burn-in warranty. The MSI MPG 271QRX is a great alternative with a few extra features like a KVM switch.
4K
Long time favorite is the Gigabyte M32U – 32", IPS, 144 Hz. FreeSync / G-SYNC compatible, HDMI 2.1, great value with USB-C and KVM switch. The M28U is the 28" version for tighter budgets. An alternative is [Dell G3223Q](https://www.amazon.com/Dell-Inspiron-5400-Touchscreen-Computer/dp/B0B1319VJ4?g from one subreddit, it doesn't automatically proceed to the next.tag=b0-1-20) which has better build and better warranty.
For OLED, ASUS PG32UCDM – QD-OLED, 240 Hz, gamer-focused, DisplayHDR True Black is considered one of the best right now. Another good one is MSI MPG 321URX – QD-OLED, 240 Hz, and often best value among premium 32" OLEDs. Another solid one is the Samsung G80SD – QD-OLED, 240 Hz, vibrant colors, Smart TV features.
Great alternative to OLED is the Samsung Neo G8 – 32", Fast VA Mini-LED, 240 Hz. Best 4K monitor if you want LED local dimming without OLED.
Do you think 27G850A-B is a good option for a 4k monitor?
Dell G3223Q
I'm very happy with mine, but they've been unavailable for some time now. It's still listed on Dell's site, so hopefully not permanently discontinued without a superior replacement.
LG is running a Gaming Days sale with discounts on select gaming monitors and laptops, valid through September 14, 2025
🔥 Highlights:
Enjoy next-level visuals and performance while the deals last.

$500 off the 45" OLED is tempting ngl. Kinda stuck between pulling the trigger now or waiting to see what the next models bring
it's the last gen one, 3440x1440, sadly.
let’s be real even with $500 off, that 45 OLED is still pricey buttttt tye specs are top-tier ngl, the discount feels more like easing the sting than a real steal. still, if you’ve been eyeing LG’s ultragear line, then it’s rlly now’s the time
That's a great deal for gamers and tech enthusiasts, saving upto 30% is already solid but the $500 off the 45" OLED gaming monitor is especially impressive.
It's not the 5k2k though, it's the older model.
yes this is the 1440p one but with WebOS feature!
good to see laptops included in the sale too not just the monitors. sometimes the focus is only on displays
True, LG usually pushes their monitors, so it’s nice to see laptops in the mix. Curious how those stack up spec wise though hopefully not just filler deals
This is an absolute bargain and the offer stands for another 4 days. I'm gonna open my piggybank for this.
Been running the ASUS PG32UCDM for a couple weeks and honestly, it feels like the first OLED monitor that actually does it all. 32" 4K at 240 Hz is smooth as hell, motion clarity is insane, and HDR looks wild with true blacks and bright highlights. It’s a legit step up from any IPS/FALD I’ve used.
Here's the link if anyone's interested: https://www.amazon.com/ASUS-Swift-Gaming-Monitor-PG32UCDM/dp/B0CV26XVMD/
Text and desktop use are way better than older QD-OLEDs too. At 32" 4K the subpixel stuff isn’t really an issue, fonts look crisp enough, and colors are spot on out of the box with an sRGB clamp if you need it. Works just as well for gaming nights as it does for photo or video work.
Build and features are solid: fanless so it’s silent, HDMI 2.1 for consoles, DisplayPort for 4K240 on PC, USB-C with charging, and even KVM if you need it. Glossy finish makes everything pop, though yeah, reflections can be a thing depending on your setup.
Downsides? It gets warm, burn-in protections can dim HUDs if you leave them up forever, and it’s definitely not cheap. But if you want one screen that handles esports, HDR single-player games, and creative work without compromise, this one actually delivers.
I was looking at this monitor as well but ultimately decided to go with the PG27UCDM, has better PPI due to smaller size; and has a 2.1 display port to run that 240hz 4k uncompressed
Hey everyone! I’m looking to upgrade my gaming monitor and could use some advice. I’d like to know what you think are the best options out there for gaming monitors. I'm particularly interested in monitors that offer high refresh rates (ideally 144Hz or more), low response times, and great resolution (4K or at least 1440p).
My main purpose is gaming and work. Any suggestions or personal experiences would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!
Whats ur budget?
Most would say peak atm is the 5k2k monitor with its 4k ultrawide and OLED.
All depends on preferences and budget
I agree the LG 5k2k OLED looks insane. Would need a beefy GPU to power it tho.
I have this monitor and while the screen is phenomenal the active fan is very loud. So much so i will send it back :(
Just look up 34” oled monitors. They are about as standard as you can get for ultrawide gaming monitors now. Go by price/hz since they are basically the same. Qd-oled from Samsung or oled from lg, those are the options.
MSi 341cqp/cqpx
Dell aw3423dwf/aw3425dw
Phillips evnia versions
Lg with their own oled versions
And many more.
Been using the AW3423DWF OLED as my primary for work and gaming for about 18 months now and it’s incredible. Really hits the sweet spot for 1440p gaming with a 165hz.
Before that upgrade, I inherited an ASUS tuff gaming 4K 60Hz IPS panel (which is now my second monitor in a vertical format), and really liked it but would never be able to go back to it now after OLED. Especially with Dell’s 3 year warranty. 👀
I can vouch for Dell's customer service. I had an issue with some pixels about 2 years in and they completely replaced my monitor with a new one. No random questions, no additional payments, just quick service.
I can vouch for the 341cqp/x. Absolutely amazing monitor!
I got the Phillips evnia qd oled and while its got quirks would recommend if you can get on sale. Like its only got hdmi 2.0 which does limit you if you use hdmi and you need dsc on dp to run it at full speed but it works once set up had no problems and it has type c pd as well which is nice. It also has a ps5 mode which work well even if a bit limited by the hdmi 2 speeds and the speaks aren't garbage.
Aw3423dw is hands down the best monitor I ever owned. QD-OLED is a banger, 21:9 is the perfect ultrawide format for gaming and with the NVIDIA app you can have 5k2k in games.
It's so good I even bought my wife one, too 😅
Id highly recommend the Asus ROG Swift PG32UCDM. it has amazing 4k quality, only drawback is the price. Asus ROG Strix XG27UCG is a good 4k alternative thats cheaper. you can a helpful breakdown of the best options in this thread
Alienware AW3425DW or MSI MPG 341CQPX. Both are 1440 21:9 34 inch 240hz with QD-OLED. If you don’t want UW than 32 inch 4K 240hz has a lot of good options from ASUS MSI exc. personally I’m waiting for a 5K2K QD OLED 240HZ, but not sure when that comes to the market
Alienware aw3423dwf or aw3425dw are top of the line for me atm. Which one is price dependant
best gaming monitor
Key Considerations for Choosing the Best Gaming Monitor:
Refresh Rate: Look for a monitor with a refresh rate of at least 144Hz for smooth gameplay. Higher refresh rates (240Hz or more) are ideal for competitive gaming.
Response Time: A low response time (1ms to 3ms) reduces motion blur and ghosting, which is crucial for fast-paced games.
Resolution: Aim for at least 1080p (Full HD) resolution. For better clarity, consider 1440p (QHD) or 4K (UHD) if your hardware can support it.
Panel Type:
Adaptive Sync Technology: Look for monitors with G-Sync (NVIDIA) or FreeSync (AMD) to reduce screen tearing and provide a smoother gaming experience.
Size and Aspect Ratio: A 27-inch monitor is a popular choice for immersive gaming. Consider ultrawide monitors (21:9) for a more expansive field of view.
Recommendations:
Takeaway: Choose a monitor that fits your gaming style and hardware capabilities. If you're into competitive gaming, prioritize refresh rate and response time. For immersive experiences, consider resolution and color accuracy.
