Online Marketplaces and Apps
For those looking for affordable figurines, online marketplaces like eBay and Mercari are popular options. These platforms often have lots or bundles of figurines available at discounted prices [1:1]. Additionally, Bricklink is a specialized marketplace for Lego figurines, though prices can vary depending on the seller
[2:1].
Social Media and Community Groups
Social media platforms such as TikTok and WhatsApp have channels and groups dedicated to selling figurines. Some users have found success purchasing from TikTok shops, though it's important to research sellers for reliability [1:2]
[1:3]. WhatsApp groups like Apex Store and Ninja Store offer both original and bootleg figures, often at lower prices
[3:2]
[3:7].
Specialty Websites and Stores
For anime figurines, websites like Kame Housez in India offer affordable options [3:3]. In Singapore, stores like Hakken, La Tendo, and Toy or Game are recommended, with online options like AmiAmi being noted for their extensive collections and competitive pricing
[5:2]
[5:3].
Local Options and Events
Thrift stores, flea markets, estate sales, and garage sales can be treasure troves for finding unique figurines at low prices [1:1]. Local gift shops and malls may also carry figurines, particularly if you're looking for more common characters
[4:6]. For those in specific locations, checking out local hobby shops or attending collector events might yield some hidden gems
[5:5].
Considerations for Quality and Authenticity
When purchasing figurines, especially online or through social media, it's important to consider the quality and authenticity of the items. Bootleg figures are often cheaper but may not meet the quality standards of official merchandise. If authenticity is important, it might be worth investing in higher-quality items from reputable sources, even if they come at a slightly higher price [3:7].
where’s the best place to get figurines and trinkets affordably? i like character figurines especially—marvel, disney, video games (minecraft, mario, animal crossing) and also just cute animal figurines!
Tik tok has a few channels that sell trinket scoops
i’ve never used tiktok shop lol, is it reliable?
You have to do your own research on that
eBay lots, Mercari lots, thrift store goodie bags, estate sales and yard/garage sales. I have tubs. TUBS of trinkets I’ve collected over the years. Things I’ve dug out from bottom of boxes. Flea markets and Facebook marketplace.
thank you!!!!
Hello everyone, do you know where I can buy cheap mini figurines (no more than $5) just to expand my collection?
Bricklink would be the best bet, not to say its all to cheap though
I looked but either there is a minimum purchase to make or they do not ship to my country
Its different shops, like Ebay but for legos. They do send to different countrys, it just depends who you buy from.
Amazon and flipkart has some good figurines. But do yall know any other sites which sell good quality figurines at reasonable prices ?.
Also drop some pics from your collection
There are a lot of WhatsApp groups which sell original and bootleg figures, some in stock and some do custom pre orders
hey can you tell me some, I can't find any. Most people say they are on insta and stuff but I don't use insta.
Sure. Dm me
Heyy you can check our page kame.housez for most affordable action figures in indiahttps://kamehousez.in/
Cool
Mostly buy fakes from whatsapp groups like Apex Store and Ninja Store. One of my recent purchases.
That figurine is amazing. From where and how much did you buy it for ?.
Apex Store. Rs 1200. Its fake, so its cheap
Whose figure do u want?
Buying random is a bad idea
Big 3 or Jojos
Big 3 r pretty common so u can buy many good ones from amazon itself
If u want higher quality ones and don't mind the price then nerdarena is a good option
Or u can always locate an anime based shop in ur city or state if there is one obviously
>! Or just fly to Japan and buy the best ones 🥲!<
They are available in any malls fam (if you're in Delhi idk about other states)
Try local gift shop or Amazon

Shoppingnest Merchsensei Poppicons Apex store Kawaii culture I've bought 16 figurines total from these guys, you can check them out on insta absolutely top notch quality.. some have cod and some don't. Their whatsapp channels update latest figurines/statues that you can get :)
They are on instagram btw
I'm just getting into collecting figurines, and would like to browse some hobby shops in Singapore to see what catches my fancy.
Where are your favourite / hidden gems for these things?
Hakken and La Tendo, Toy or Game also have a lot but based on outlet ,you can find a lot more options on amiami or even taobao(buy direct from factory)
I buy/pre order online through amiami
Chronicles Inc at Peninsula Shopping Centre
Prices are like doubled over here,I shop overseas when traveling.
I don't collect too many these days but I used to shop online off amiami, their collection were usually extensive and price-competitive.
Not sure about now though.
I check amazon, and I KNOW they aren't as expensive as they are on there. Where do you guys buy?
Crunchy roll has a section for cheap figures. Below 40 bucks. Its small but nice. Define cheap tho...like below 70?
ebay auction sellers and amiami pretty much
I use amiami
I use both amiami and mandarake, myself.
If you are okay waiting for surface mail or paying a little extra for DHL, then there is no better place than Amiami preowned. They have a constant flow of new figures and they are usually crazy cheap when compared to the US market, and usually fairly price the rare/inflated ones. Plus even most C grades are in mint condition and heavily discounted. Most A grades are still factory sealed, and B grades are always mint. I have gotten most of my 100+ scale collection from them.
Edit: I would avoid amazon unless they are prime sellers with prime returns. A lot of fakes get sold there by 3rd party sellers, they can be just as bad as ebay. And their prices are always insane on the authentic ones.
Also MFC can be a good place too but be sure to always use Paypal Goods and Services just incase anything goes wrong you can get your money back.
I wanna paint one so bad
Currently painting mine to look like my boy
Are they still overpriced though :(
$30 but worth it
I just want to buy some cool figures but not investing my lungs on them. Also any merch, I just want to buy something cool for my fav manga.
I don’t have much experience buying figures from sites but I’ve heard some good places are AmiAmi and Plaza Japan. They come straight from Japan so the prices aren’t inflated. Hope this helps! :)
TYSM my guy, Plaza Japan only have 2 figures that arent available but the ones from AmiAmi are fucking fire.
Anytime man!
I buy mine from GoodSmile. But I was wondering if you guys have online stores that are not GoodSmile or eBay sellers. I want to buy some more figmas, but am not sure what’s a good reputable place to buy them from third party sellers.
i’ve gotten three figma from a site called Ami Ami ! they have a used section with some crazy cheap prices
Like you I buy from goodsmile and ebay, but I also use Bigbadtoystore and amiami which are suprisngly reliable
Bigbadtoystore has great shipping and 100% reliable I got half of my persona 5 figmas there and the packaging is always great. Lunar toy store is also another that has legit figmas BUT the packaging has been horrible, no protection whatsoever just the figmas in there thankfully my boxes came fine but my friends came messed up cause the packaging is bad
For pre owned figmas I tend to use mandarake, they're very nice and you can find good deals there
Yeah you can find some pretty good deals there!
Amiami
We were gifted hand me down furniture to get us started and it was already pretty worn and torn. With 4 kittens and a new puppy over the course of 3 years, most of what we have needs to be burned and buried. My problem is I don’t know where to look for replacements other than the chains and they’re SO ‘SPENSIVE!! I looked up local stores but the reviews are not very enticing.
If you are in the US, I always recommend Big Lots if there’s any remotely near you. Just watch for sales on the items you want. Great quality for price. I got two really nice couches for $400 total last year.
Also recommend Big lots if it's available to you. They do some pretty decent Thanksgiving sales too, so this is good time to check them out.
Big Lots is good but know it’s not furniture that you’ll pass down to your kids. It’ll last a while but not forever.
Right. It is cheap as well as inexpensive. I have pets, though, so I while I will feel bad if they destroy furniture, an inexpensive piece would cause me to see the brighter side of the situation and my kids like the wierdest shit anyway.
Facebook Marketplace, Habitat for Humanity ReStore, thrift shops, furniture consignment shops, IKEA.
The Habitat for Humanity ReStore near me has great deals, and the furniture is obviously used but still very serviceable.
I figure even new furniture is going to look used very shortly after I get it—especially the stuff I can afford to buy new. But it won’t be sturdy
+1 for ReStore, I've gotten some really great stuff there, including two fantastic wood+glass side tables for $5 ea (must have been $100 new). Also a great way to get rid of your furniture, just throw it on the sidewalk and give them a call.
Plus, you're helping buy nails to build new affordable housing.
This section also got my parents through multiple appliance purchases. I think they got a couple washer and dryers and a fridge for a decent price because of something stupid like a dent
See if you have a local “Buy Nothing” group on Facebook. You’d be astonished at what people give away for free on there.
This was what I was going to recommend too! I love the buy nothing! I don’t buy furniture anymore, just look at the group everyday if I’m interested in something
This is the way! I’ve given and received many great things off but nothing. And it also connects you to your local community. You (OP) could also post the items you’re getting rid of, maybe someone crafty in your group could make use of your old furniture to rehab it themselves.
Lowe’s and Home Depot offer these as well. And while they may not sell all of their furniture in store, they do get online purchase returns that are sold at a fraction of the cost. Good luck!
