Gran Turismo 7 (GT7)
Gran Turismo 7 is frequently mentioned as a top choice for racing games on the PS5. It offers a realistic driving experience with a focus on simulating real-world tracks and cars. Players appreciate the game’s use of the DualSense controller, which enhances gameplay with adaptive triggers and haptic feedback [2:3]. However, some players find the in-game economy challenging, as it can be difficult to earn money to buy new cars
[4:2].
Forza Horizon 5
Although Forza Horizon 5 is traditionally associated with Xbox, its availability on PlayStation has been met with enthusiasm. The game is praised for its open-world design, diverse map, and car customization options [5:1]. It provides a balance between arcade-style fun and semi-realistic driving, making it appealing to a broad audience
[1:1]. The game also benefits from the PS5's DualSense features, although some players feel these features are not fully utilized
[2:3].
Dirt 5
Dirt 5 is another popular choice for PS5 players, especially those who enjoy off-road racing. The game takes advantage of the PS5's haptic feedback and adaptive triggers [3:1]. While reviews are mixed, many players appreciate the game's vibrant graphics and dynamic weather conditions, which add to the immersive experience.
Need for Speed Hot Pursuit Remastered
For fans of arcade racers, Need for Speed Hot Pursuit Remastered is a recommended title. It offers high-speed chases and thrilling gameplay, and it recently received a 4K 60fps patch, enhancing its visual appeal [3:2]. This game is particularly noted for its nostalgic value and engaging multiplayer modes.
CarX Street
CarX Street is highlighted for its simplicity and focus on core racing mechanics. Despite being a lower-budget game, it delivers satisfying driving experiences and personalization options that resonate well with players [5:6]. The game’s sound design, tied closely to engine types, is also praised
[5:9].
WRC 9
WRC 9 is recommended for those who prefer rally racing. It offers realistic physics, career mode, and various seasons, providing depth and replayability [3:7]. The game is available at a budget-friendly price, making it an attractive option for players looking for quality without breaking the bank.
Overall, the best racing game for you will depend on whether you prefer a realistic simulation, an open-world adventure, or an arcade-style racer. Each of these titles offers something unique, so consider what aspects of racing games you enjoy most when making your choice.
As soon as I saw the ad (Forza on PlayStation???....??, what?) bought the game within seconds. Thought I was buying Forza motorsport, didn't even realize 'horizon' was a thing and there was a difference. I love the Gran Turismo series (like maybe too much), played every one since I was a kid back in the 90s. And yeah I know, neither GT or Motorsport are true Sims, they're simcades, but they're structured that way. Learn the real world tracks, memorize brake points, shave tenths off your time, not seconds, and generally... think.. a bunch. Now, I loved midnight club back in the day, me and my friends spent literally hundreds of hours just messing around having fun, playing tag and whatnot, top speed highway runs, you know, whatever.. Burnout turned me off arcade racers for years, bought a couple and I just.. didn't really like it. Now on to Horizon 5. What a game, it's really more like a driving RPG. The racing can still be challenging, it for sure takes focus, but not thought, it's just ... Fun. I missed this feeling, I'm just free to go nuts in insanely powerful cars, exploration is not only allowed but encouraged, and rewarded! Some of the events are just over the top insane action movie stuff that is just so satisfying. And the RADIO! Love gt7 but that music dial got turned down to zero almost from the start. This is just a genuinely fun game. So glad I bought it thinking it was something else.
Ps5 player here too, I gotten the wheel for this game. it add on extra layer of fun
I've been thinking about it... Got the psvr2 when the price dropped a couple months ago. Gt7 is nuts in VR but that wheel would seal the deal. And it'd be great for this too. Glad to know it has wheel support.
It gets better with unlocking all content. All cars. Then making a convoy with friends and just flying across the map and doing events together!
Another ps newbie here, I love the game so far but I have a few questions.
I'm not sure if I and the other players I've played with are doing something terribly wrong but every time a convoy leader (both me and others) goes to "Horizon open" and joins a race playlist (like "open racing", "open drifting etc") only the convoy leader gets sent into the first race while the rest of the convoy has to sit in the free roam while the leader finishes the first race (which can take minutes) then for the second race, everyone shows up. Can you somehow make sure that everyone joins the playlist immediately?
Can you leave a horizon open playlist without breaking up the convoy?
As a convoy leader, can I start a race that forces everyone to use just one specific car? Like the donut car or bmw isetta or something? Is that possible somehow?
when doing adventures in coop, is it normal that the progress only saves for the convoy leader (even if he fails the adventure and the other players finish)?
I wish 3 years after the release coop would work perfectly but it just doesn't and that makes me sad :( Way to often when im in a convoy i can't tune my car with player tunes because i get a warning not connected to servers or i want to start a story with someone and i get the cutscene but my coop partner is still in loading screen after a while i get kicked out of the event and it starts for him. We startet hot wheels together but every event with stars we need to leave convoy and do the event alone with just sucks tbh
Do all of the adventure stuff. 3 star all story chapters (v10 story gives you the Jesko!).
Every Thursday a new festival playlist goes live. 20 points and 40 points for new cars every week. Super easy to do!
Like I said, there’s no bad horizon game, but by the time 5 came the fatigue for some of us was a bit real and more importantly the magic took a few hits everytime the scope got bigger and bigger.
In many ways it’s the same idea with the F&F franchise, the first move was about racing and a small town gang race, I’m assuming the last one was in outer space (don’t know I didn’t watch but you get my point)
Horizon 1 was this brilliant festival in Colorado that had this grounded story with likable basic characters and scope, the vibe and atmosphere aren’t something I have seen often since. it really felt like both the beginning and the end of an era. The color palette of that game was something else.
Horizon 2 was this moving festival were you all went from Italy to France and back and it still felt fairly believable, just a larger scale due to the success of the first horizon festival. The graphics and vibe are still stunning to this day. Story not as great as the first one but nonetheless I’d say is horizon 1’s equal. The barn finds in horizon 1 and 2 were a magical experience let me tell you.
3 was great for sure, but this was the beginning of scope just being a bit much in terms of a festival, it felt like the whole country was on a festival/holiday. And now you were the one organizing it so you’re choosing the cars for the races. A great game but again scope was a thing because games have to be bigger and better. 4 went all out with this and now horizon is a lifestyle with all 4 seasons.
Again, 3 and 4 are brilliant in their own right, but 1 and 2 were phenomenal, honestly worth hunting and Xbox one X if you can to play 1, 3 and 4 at 4k (2 sadly never got the love there). They were the system sellers for me.
FH5 has spoiled you in terms of features, but the first three games just have a great vibe to them. FH1 feels very much early 2010s in the best way possible. I personally have the most memories with 3, which also has my personal favorite map.
I agree. I'm playing it on pc game pass now and just about everything is enjoyable. I wasn't a fan of the music though so I just open Spotify and play some Initial D Eurobeat instead.
As someone who started the series with 3, played 4, then went back and played 1 and 2 while waiting for 5, I don't feel the same.
I feel like every game in the series was an improvement on the previous game, with the exception of 5 (I feel like 4 is the peak.)
In fact, I don't know if 1 should even be considered a Horizon game. Compared to the games that followed, it's more of a hybrid between Horizon and Motorsport. The lack of ability to freely explore the map (I know it's a 360-induced limitation) after playing later games in the series first really makes 1 pale in comparison. Especially since I don't have the nostalgia fuel that people who started the series with 1 have.
I will say that 2 was great, and really I could understand any argument for 2, 3, or 4 being the best in the series, but I think I'd rank them 4, 3, 2
You’re talking about it from a scope and presentation stand point I assume. 3, 4, and 5 were great but if you started with the journey from the beginning, it was never about extravaganza and scope. It was about this unforgettable summer trip that sticks with you forever.
3 and 4 felt like it started getting out of hand in terms of me believing in this holiday/festival. Also, story wise apart from the first 2 there’s barely a story. I don’t even remember a single character from 4 and I played it as recently as this month.
I think the best way I could put it is this, I would’ve loved to go to the festival in Colorado and the one in Italy/France. And while I would love to see the areas in the other games, the festival seemed like an event I’d glean from the distance while walking the quiet side streets instead.
Another first time PS5 player here.
What a game. Having such a good time with it. The racing is just the right balance between Burnout absurdity and semi-realistic driving.
How do I stop sucking at cross country though?

>Forza Horizon 5 is the first time that PlayStation owners can access the franchise, but you're entering at the very best time, at a point where the game has never been better.
PlayStation LifeStyle - 100/100
>Forza Horizon 5 was well worth the wait for PS5 owners, who are getting the incredible racing game in its most content-rich state yet. Filled with polish and a progression system that makes every gameplay session feel meaningful, this is one of the best racing games ever made and a must-own for fans. If you've been a PlayStation-exclusive gamer, then make sure to check out what you've been missing.
Power Unlimited - 96/100
>If you have even the slightest bit of love for racing, you have no choice but to play Forza Horizon 5. It's still a little weird that games like this are coming to the PS5, but ultimately it's a case of, 'don't ask how it's possible, just enjoy what it is.' Forza Horizon 5 is still the best open-world racer ever made.
Loot Level Chill - 95/100
>Forza Horizon 5 was already a masterpiece, but now players get to witness is greatness on PS5, with so much to do and so much to see.
GameReactor UK - 90/100
>Forza Horizon 5 is beautiful. It's varied, it's well put together, it's deeply rewarding and overflowing with content to engage with. It's not even as confusing as it has been. That, in my book, makes it one of the best games of the year, but if you are expecting even an ounce of creative reimagining of the core formula, you might feel different.
Gameblog - FR - 90/100
>King of the racing games, Forza Horizon 5 is still visually impressive years later and takes advantage from the additional power of the PS5 Pro to push its technical limits even further across all consoles. A must-have for the lovers of the genre that unfortunately comes with a high price.
Meristation - 90/100
>Forza Horizon 5 arrives on PS5 with the same energy as we saw four years ago in its original release.
Worth pLaying - 90/100
>Despite its age, Forza Horizon 5 is a fantastic open-world, arcade-style racing game. The car handling is superb, there's an overwhelming number of events and races, and the large number of secrets ensures that you'll spend a ton of time driving around and exploring every nook and cranny. The structure and flow are so good that the only game that could match this is Burnout Paradise, a remake of a PS3/Xbox 360 game. Even if your only exposure to this type of game is The Crew: Motorfest, you owe it to yourself to grab Forza Horizon 5, even if you're only a casual racing fan. At the moment, there's really nothing else like it out there.
Finally there is Forza Horizon on Playstation
We got forza on PlayStation before gta6
“Speaking of the DualSense, Sony's PS5 controller does mark one of the key differences in game feel when switching over from Xbox to PS5. We wouldn't say this is the strongest use of the technology based on our admittedly limited playtime so far - but it does make a difference, especially when it comes to accelerating and braking. The adaptive triggers give you a better sense of how the car is performing overall, and you have a little more control, particularly when braking. The DualSense isn't game-changing for Forza Horizon 5, but it's a nice addition to the PS5 version of the game, and we'd really like to see something similar on Xbox soon.”
This is one of the few games where I notice the rumble triggers on Xbox. I like Dualsense but honestly I didn’t feel much in GT7, so I wonder if this would make a difference for me.
For GT7 you have to turn the vibration intensity up to “150%”
GT7 is a bad example coz it’s a sim game and your comparing it to Fh5. Play crew motorfest then compare controllers on ps5 to Xbox bro it’s night and day. This is coming from someone that had a series x with fh5 and i loved the game but hated the controller vs crew motorfest its not as good of a game but the cotnrlller on ps5 in amazing
Kinda crazy base PS5 is pushing 1872p while Series X could drop down to 1600p at times.
An excellent port indeed.
This is a game that on PC can run at a mix of med to high settings at 1440p with RT enabled, and still average 70-75 or so FPS all on an RX 6600.
Panic Button would have had to drop the ball big time to make it run worse on PS5
Automatically the best version because of the DualSense features and the PS5 Pro enhancements.
I know it most def have adaptive trigger support but does it have gyro steering?
This feels like a dream lol! I was so close to buying an Xbox this year just for this game.
The rumbles in the triggers are nice though. You can really feel it in Forza when you underwater, it adds great immersion
I was looking at Dirt 5 because it takes advantage of the haptic feedback and adaptive triggers but I’ve read a lot of mixed reviews. Any recommendations?
As someone who prefers arcade racers, I can recommend NFS Hot Pursuit Remastered. It’s on sale currently and received a 4k 60fps patch recently.
Also the Wreckfest devs are working on a PS5 version which could drop soonish, but no release date is known.
Hot pursuit was a fun game. They don’t seem to make many arcade racers on PlayStation anymore. That’s my favorite racing genera as well. I put literally hundreds and hundreds of hours into burnout paradise. My dream racing game would be if someone could make an arcade racer in the style of the live action Speed Racer movie. It doesn’t need to be called speed racer or anything but the racing and car combat in that movie was unbelievable cool. I’m sure it would be difficult to translate to a game but boy would I buy the hell out of it if someone tried to make it.
Check out Onrush. It was free on PS plus months ago and should be available at a very low price now. If you like Burnout, you'll love this.
Also burnout paradise remastered! Such a fun game.
WRC 9 is less than $20 with PS+ right now
Yeah, you do have to go in knowing you're not driving lambos and Ferraris. You're driving old, beaten cars, that handle exactly like old beaten cars. And at any moment you could get slammed into a guard rail and drop 12 places.
It's the most fun racing game I've ever played, though. Just not everyone's cup of tea.
If you want a native PS5 game Dirt 5 is your only option. I'd suggest waiting for GT7.
WRC is better in every regard. Better game, haptics, physics, 60/120fps, FOV slider, career, seasons, etc. I also own both games.
Whatever is the latest Polyphony Digital game. At the moment Gran Turismo Sport until Gran Turismo 7 comes.
Changing the sensitivity on the sticks and triggers helps a fair bit. The default settings are good if you want fine control but it is hard to get to gripes with. Changing it to be less sensitive on the sticks and more so on the triggers can help.
A good rule of thumb is that if you are changing the direction of the wheels then you aren't on the throttle or the brakes. You can get away with fettling the throttle a little around turns but not enough to increase speed, only to keep traction.
Also, if you find yourself sliding wide or losing the back end you can correct it early by shifting down a gear. This pulls the front of the car in a bit and let's you regain control. Have to be careful because it can have the opposite effect and yank the back around even harder but you'll get the jist of when to use it fairly quick.
Lastly, speed isn't always king. Sweden and Finland are fast wide rallies where you can get away with gunning it (with enough skill) but Turkey, Japan, and Monte Carlo (as examples) require a slower more precise approach. One style of driving might work on one stage but wil see you wrapped around a tree or flying off a cliff on another.
There are other things to think about but there are the main ones to start with.
I've been playing the series x version of wreckfest (it's 60fps) and that game is so fucking good.
Same... I really loved the way they implemented heptic feedback as well... im really excited for other racing games on this system
I've played almost every big racing game on PS4/PS5 and nothing has been able to scratch the itch of the freedom, content and fun this game delivers. Truly a masterpiece of video game racing.
And for me is so much better over GT7, because you can really earn money and buy cars... In GT7 they are greedy.. Also I cant stop playing this FH5 game :)
R32 dub club
Agreed. Although GT7 is great but it lacks the open world and ability to just cruise around enjoying driving.
And came Forza Horizon 5 and I am having a blast.
Also, I thought I was shit at this game (using a wheel) because I can't seem to hold the drift and the car goes out of control even in a slight turn. Turns out I have real damage and tyre wear on and the tyre is destroyed 🤣 After like 10 hours of agony I finally turn the damage off
PS5 player here. Been playing for a week and this is the best racing game I’ve played all year (outside of GT7). The graphics are better than Motorfest, the handling feels better than Forza Horizon, the open world and traffic is better than NFS Unbound. I know the game still has its flaws but it feels like it gives racing game fans everything we want including having a generous economy, being able to fast travel from the beginning, instantly starting races from the map menu, diverse map, car customization, etc. Hope AAA studios take notes.
I agree. Best racing game rn other than GT7 on VR. I cant stop playing these elite races. I got like 40 cars from all the grinding Ive been doing on C5 and C6 elite races. Only thing I say could be improved are the interior view graphics but other than that. This game feels like a breath of fresh air.
for the price they are selling this game honestly we are stealing them
And unlike Motorfest they aren't relying on weekly challenges that require buying new cars with real money. I dropped Motorfest as soon as I realized the content was all locked behind constant purchasing of cars,
I do love Motorfest but I never seem to have enough money for the weekly cars despite me playing pretty often.
I paid $99 for Forza Horizon on PS5 and although I don’t regret that purchase I think I may clock more hours in CarX when it’s all said and done.
yup same i havent played fh5 since carx street came out
It's such a basic low budget game at it's core, but manages to tick all the boxes people have been requesting from arcade racing games for over a decade. It's amazing that I've had more fun with this than any AAA racing game that's released in the last few years
I think the game is a good example of what we get when studios focus on racing rather than worrying about storylines or adding hundreds of cars. I love Forza Horizon series but it’s becoming a car collecting game more than racing game. Motorfest felt like a step down from the Crew 2, which itself was a step down from the first. Need for Speed hasn’t been the same since Carbon. Being on Xbox I haven’t played GT since the GT3 on PS2 so I can’t comment on it.
This. The older I get, the more I appreciate games where you can cruise and vibe to the scenery like you did in TC1 and TC2. It's such a shame they shut down the TC1 servers because it was honestly one of my favorite racing/driving game of all time.
Spot on. Car sounds, mechanical damage, ‘branded’ cars, music, characters/voices - none of these are done well by CarX Street. But the actual cars and driving mechanics, personalisation and tuning? Nailed it.
Car sounds I would argue are done pretty good. Other games have excessive amounts of backfire and lack of distinction between engine types. I like that CarX the sound is actually tied to the engine as well. That’s not even to mention tire sounds which seemed less prominent in other games, even those with better tire physics.
I've been in love with this game since day 1. It started off on mobile for me for a couple years. Even the mobile version is better than some console games. If you have a phone that can handle it of course...
Microsoft dominated this aspect. Allowing backwards compatibility to play the classics like Midnight Club, Need for Speed Most Wanted & Hot Pursuit, Driver San Francisco, Test Drive Unlimited, and more. We definitely can not forget this current generation’s line of third party games as well as the Forza lineup (which became the selling point for me).
PlayStation 4? Eh. We had one Gran Turismo game which wasn’t a true Gran Turismo game (more of like an eSports version of GT). We had DriveClub which I played a decent amount but the servers shut down so I gave up on it. There’s the 3rd party games which... eh? The Crew 1 & 2 weren’t bad but it can get fairly repetitive. The Need for Speed franchises has one made one okay game this whole generation (which was Heat and they stopped supporting the game!) there’s the track racing games like DiRT, Assetto, and PCars but XB1 has them too so what’s the point on getting them for PS4?
So far, we have Gran Turismo 7 which is looking pretty solid but I wish they would add a bit more emphasis on open world racing games too.
You actually have a great line up.
GT Sport is frankly the best online racing game ever made. It's not perfect but going from the absolute chaos of previous online racing to the tight intense fights in GT Sport is a revelation. Plus we finally have strategy in longer races, juggling fuel and tyres vs pit stops.
Wreckfest is one of the best ever pick up and play arcade blasts, though the physics are very solid, not really arcade, but the nature of the action is. Its awesome.
DriveClub alongside Wreckfest above is an all time classic. Who cares how it started, it's amazing.
Then there is Dirt Rally 2.0, AC, ACC, PCars2 etc.
This topic is very bizarre as MS only has Horizon 4, which is amazing. But apart from that they have nothing over PS4.
All of the Forza games for Xbox this gen were great except for Motosport 5. GT Sport was pretty fun, but all of my friends didn't like it, so I ended up selling it after not too long. I didn't enjoy Driveclub, however. I might need to try Wreckfrest, never played it.
Yeah I personally see it as a stalemate between MS and Sony here.
PS4 has the best competitive racer in GT Sport while MS has the best casual racer in FH4.
FH4 being more casual makes it more appealing though but that's about it
100% this. Constantly looking at forza horizon with envy.
The only reason i actually bought an Xbone was specifically for Forza Horizons because i love it so much.
I did enjoy the new Need for speeds a bit to get my fix, but they aren't AS good. Hopefully they get there though.
I suggest trying Wreckfrest though if people haven't. It's not open world, but it's been my favorite racer on ps4.
Why? Side by side screenshots show GT Sport looks better than Forza 7.
Honestly, just personal preference. I’m not too much into the sim racers. I much prefer the arcade style racers like Burnout. But forza horizon looks right up my street
He meant horizon not motorsport btw. Also gt sport has less cars and content so they could focus more time and effort on each car.
I have more fun with Grand Turismo 5 on PS3 than Forza horizon 4 on my PC. Mostly because Forza sucks with steering wheel support but still, driving to races is so annoying and the other day I got a pop up video add for Legos for a minute or two I couldn't skip on Forza.
In my opinion, this generation was the worst for arcade racers. Need for speed went downhill and the Crew didnt interest me at all. The only good Arcade racer to come out this gen was the forza horizon games and sadly I dont have an xbox or good enough pc to play it
I enjoyed Mario Kart along with Forza, if that's what you mean by arcade racers.
I loved that game and am not that big of a fan of racing/cart racers at all.
I’ve had my PlayStation 5 for just over a few months now and I still don’t own a racing game. I’ve been playing all of Sonys first party exclusives and want something to kick back on and race or drive.
I’ve heard mixed things about GT7. Game looks beautiful though.
Then there is F1 2022, WRC, The crew 2 and wreckfest.
What racing games would you recommend to play on PS5?
Dirt 5 has co-op split screen and it’s real fun.
Hot wheels is ok but the detail is really cool.
Dakar Desert Rally is pure Motorstorm 2.0
I really wish we got a DriveClub 4k 60fps update
They put too much into the graphics in Hot wheels, pretty game lack of content. I honestly put 10 hours into it and shelved it.
Wreckfest is just pure fun and actually has pretty decent racing to go with the craziness. GT is GT.
Rest I can't really comment on.
Another vote for wreckfest. Especially if you just want to chill out with something.
Daily challenges are fun to jump on to do, career mode is servicable, and multiplayer is always a lot of fun, as long as you don't take it too seriously and don't mind a bus or monster truck barreling round the track in the wrong direction!
Favourite racing game!
Everybody is bending over backwards to not say GT7. It’s GT7. It’s not even close.
GT7 is great, but Wreckfest for my money is just more fun.
Yep, GT7 it is. Great simcade, but bad game with a massive amounts of wasted potentail.
Great simulator, but less approachable than GT7.
True. I forgot most people don't have wheels and kinda forgot what sub I was on lol.
I haven't played ACC on a controller but GT7 and Wreckfest are pretty good on it
Pretty sure OP asked for PS5 not Switch
OP asked for best racing game that's available on PS5, no other explicit qualifiers. I thought the game was fun
Great classic arcade style racer. I loved Top Gear so this was basically a remake of that
Just wanted everyone’s opinion on the best
Gran Turismo 7. My main complaint after spending around 300hrs is that there isn't more content.
My brother bought his PS5 purely to play GT7, he's glad he did.
My wife and I have around 100 hours in it, she gets more licenses than I can 😎
I only play sport mode so you can try that! I have fun sometimes
GT7 is the greatest sim racer out there right now, but honestly I’m still going to Wipeout Omega for my racing fix. The servers are dead but for some descent arcade/combat it’s my fav.
GT7 in VR is single handedly the best experience you can have with a Sim racer, having the dash reflect onto the windscreen the mirrors relative to where your head is positioned, the blinding light of the sun glaring off the cars, the overall graphics and the fact that when you put on the headset it will instantly switch to VR and will switch back to flatscreen when taken off without restarting tops it off
GT7 & check out DriveClub
Wasnt driveclub delisted? If i find a solid copy, does the online still function or were the servers shut down?
Servers got shut down a couple of years ago because the studio was closed by Sony.
The crew motorfest
Just a heads up for those who need it, you need PS+ to play
Might be because I only played single player. Also I might have had an easier time with missions, circuit experiences and license tests due to having a wheel
GT7. It’s basically an instant ps5 classic.
This game is ass. It just looks good. Plays terrible. And then it's 30fps. My eyes get tired after a bit of playing
cant believe i've slept on this, will give it a shot tonight after i finish downloading
The game is too hard
Where is underground 2
Riders on the storm please
Nope. Played it on ps5 and controls were flimsy. Not sharp.
At the start of 2023 I bought ps5... and all I'm playing is the Open World Games... and I want to switch to The Racing Game... (The last one i played was NFS: Most Wanted on the Pc) and that was a long long time ago... But I guess I'm ready for some Racing Games... Do suggestions me one....
Edit: I don't have PS subscribtion of any type... So I'd actually love if the game is single player and offline... (And also the trophies are offline)
Thankyou very much for your suggestions! :)
Wipeout omega collection, not even a PS5 game but looks like one
It gets hate but NFS Heat is good fun
Second this, best NFS in a long while. Albeit the rubber banding.
Hotwheels Unleashed. Best modern arcade racer I've played in a while.
Came here to say this.
Gran turismo if you're serious
Not sure but i think this games requires to be online all the time
I'm pretty sure you don't need ps+ to play it. Just an internet connection.
It does unfortunately
Dirt Rally 2.0 is my go to
best racing games for ps5
