TL;DR
Affordable and Stylish Options
For those seeking sleek and affordable watches, brands like Citizen and Seiko offer a wide range of options. Citizen's Eco-Drive models are particularly recommended for their solar-powered functionality and practical everyday use [1:1]. Seiko is praised for its variety and affordability, with second-hand options providing excellent value
[1:2]
[1:3]. The Casio Oceanus series is another option that combines sleek design with affordability
[2].
Mid-Range Durable Watches
If durability is a concern, the Victorinox INOX line is known for its toughness and sleek appearance [2:1]. Damasko and Marathon also offer robust watches within a reasonable price range, designed to last
[2:2]. These brands provide options that are both stylish and built to withstand daily wear.
High-End Swiss Watches
For those willing to invest more, Tissot offers several models that are both sleek and suitable for office wear. The Tissot PRX quartz model provides multiple dial color options and is well-suited for thin wrists [4:3]. Alternatively, Seiko's Presage line offers sophisticated designs that rival Swiss-made watches
[4:5].
Additional Recommendations
Other noteworthy mentions include Timex's Marlin and Expedition models for office wear or field watch style [5:2]
[5:3]. These watches are appreciated for their classic design and versatility. For those interested in automatic watches, exploring options from various brands can yield sleek and timeless pieces
[5:8].
Hey 23 male and i'm looking for a decent watch that's sleek and looks more presentable than a apple watch and isn't too pricy that isn't too hard to read in low lighting
idk any brands besides casio and g shock (which is owned by casio) so any suggestions is appreciated thanks in advanced :)
Check out citizen’s catalog. Or Seiko. Tons and tons of options and the price range will fit anyone
Will do thank you !
I'm a Seiko man through and through. love their stuff. You can find awesome second hand watches very affordably. like my Seiko Brightz SAGz081. sleek and presentable and always on time. it's quartz and radio solar. I wear it all the time as my daily when I'm not in the field.
definitely up my alley idk how i feel about the blue watch face personally but very nice looking
I wasn't sure either, but it's a LOT more subtle in person. more of a radiant navy. it goes with virtually everything. and it's titanium so it's SUPER light. the only draw back is the integrated bracelet. you can't change it out.
I don't know what sleek is, but for good night visibility have a look at one of the citizen eco-drive Promaster divers like the bn0151, Bn0190...
A solar powered watch like an eco-drive is the most practical everyday watch we have today so look for a solar watch. Automatic watches are not as acurate as quartz, they can gain or lose time /day as much as a quartz does in a month.
Also set a clear budget.
i will look into those recommendations and i’d say my budget is 200-300$ max
The Casio oceanus t200 or one of the seiko sbtm models that has lume the more the better.
For something sportier, maybe a solar Casio edifice.
For a smaller modern field watch the rze urbanist.
On the budget side, if you don't mind the brand have a look at a quartz from watchdives.com or something from r/Chinesewatches.
Keep in mind that if you import a watch you might have to pay some import taxes or custom duties depending on your local laws.
Right now im looking at the Casio Oceanus but im worried about the rumors of the radio being shut down; also the Alpina Seastrong 300, and the Steinhart Ocean One Titanium.
Under $1000. 42mm preforably but I can try 44. Bracelet preforably but a good watch on any other kind of band is cool too.
Just looking for more options, thanks in advance
Have you looked at Damasko at all? They have some great watches around that price range that are built to be tough and long lasting. You may also check out Marathon too.
Just get a watch you like, don't worry about the strap. You can change that anytime fella
You don't need to worry about radio signal - your watch will be fine without it. It will run few seconds +/- per month.
but it automatically adjusting is so cool :)
Monchard Skytoucher
Check out the INOX line by Victorinox. I don't have one (its on the wish list), but their reputation is for toughness and they are a good looking watch at a good price, decent depth rating and a number of options. They released a mechanical version in 2018 but unsure how it stacks up vs the quartz ruggedness wise. I think in testing they claim to drop it from 100 feet and drive a tank over one.
I like this one 💛 If I had a bf I would have gifted him this 🎁
Model number please
Bf application form pls 😅

Something that would look good on a thin wrist, to be used for everyday wear in office. Also would greatly appreciate some tips on what kind of watch would look the best on a thin wrist. Looking for men's watches btw.
Thanks!
Tissot gentleman, prx, classic
Tissot PRX quartz would be around ₹30,000 I guess. Loads of dial colour options too.
Tissot prx. Seastar
Go for presage or tsuyosa instead of the quartz prx if swiss made isn't the most imp part imo.
Tissot would be your best bet for a Swiss watch. Also check out Seiko as alternative but it's Japanese.
You need divers watch- casio duro or invicta And Field watch- Timex expedition
Ah the timex marlin, it's on my wishlist
Was on mine for 5 months as well
Finally decided to get it
Looks damn cool man Link?

Some automatic
Thin dress watches, chrono’s, divers, GADA… various price points. If you wanted to build a collection of thin automatics (relative to their respective category) what are the notable options to consider?
Bulgari octofinissimo sport
Piaget altiplano
Vacheron patrimony
This should thin your wallet out plenty to start with
Nomos makes some thin autos on the affordable side. JLC ultra thin is a good choice.
JLC Master Ultra Thin? At least, thin is in the name, and those or great looking dress watches
Affordable enough too for one looking in this price range and much cheaper than Piaget (albeit not as thin of course) and other brands with really thin collections/pieces.
Used market for JLCs is pretty good for the buyer right now.
Someone needs to put together a spreadsheet of all watch models with their specs.
Start with Piaget. Work your way down from their price point.
I have a budget of 3k can stretch max upto 5k. I want something unique(i like the skeleton dial ones) i just want something that will make people ask me what is this watch..

Not a great budget but, you can look into this one
That looks like an exact copy of a Tissot I saw recently. Except the Tissot did not have the moonphase
Nothing fancy still looks different from the regular watches. They have another variation where the hands are square shaped. The name is Titan Geomatrix. Also Fastrack has some skeleton dials for quartz watches too and Timex has Automatic watches with Skeleton dials and Miyota movements on Flipkart which can fit under your budget of ₹5,000.
Thanks for thr suggestion bro ill look into it
Hey guys! These are my best watches. I feel there is not much variety. Suggest me my next watch!!
A stunning collection sir! You wear the vintage sizes well, unfortunately anything less than 36mm looks absurd on my fat wrists. 🤣 This is a 70s Watches of Switzerland ETA from when they had their own range. Not as prestigious as some of the big Swiss boys but I think one would fit in your collection? I'd go for the Zenith next or maybe a JLC Memovox? Keep on enjoying your passion. 👌
I do own a few eta movement watches. I am also thinking of going after either a longines conquest, jlc memovox, zodiac seawolf or a zenith bumper auto. Either way it’s gonna be a good addition!!
All great choices. Its difficult to decide
Timeless choice. If you want to diversify try something sleek, mid-century, and a bit experimental. Maybe Universal Genève or an early Grand Seiko.
I have a polerouter. Have posted it in the comments!!
Love these! Great collection.
Thanks!!
Forgot to add the polerouter😍
😮😮😮 🔥
Luminox. Goes great with the standard issue wfh dell 👨💻
Not a Tudor so a bit off topic, but love my basculante for wfh. Light and comfy, and has a physical “shut off” switch in flipping the dial at the end of the day which helps my brain transition.
Damn, is that the new dull burgundy BB58? That looks nice 😍 It matches perfectly with your shirt too!
Yeah it is... My first Tudor. Love it, honestly, it's gorgeous. And the dial isn't as bright as some think!
The best work from home watch is defo an apple watch with microsoft teams. You can just go chill in garden and that thing will notify you whenever someone contacts you 😂
Yeah as much as I wanna say my North Flag, it’s the Apple Watch to keep me notified lol
Ah that would be getting some notification all the time. I am going to avoid a smart watch as long as I can. I am already hooked on my phone most of the time.
My thoughts exactly... I can't say I have a job where I need to get messages all the time but man it seems awful to get messages and notifications on my wrist as well as my pocket. I already can't stand my phone and as you said am on it way too much.
They're Hereford cattle too, almost the same colour as the watch!
This is my favorite wfh watch in my collection
Very nice, I have a polar that I love!
Banger with the red flannel
What u guys love the most in this range?
Casio Enticer.... I got it for 4K with card offer... It's looks amazing on the wrist.
DWC devangari... It's around 4.6K.... looks dope
Which enticer?

Key Considerations for Sleek Watches
Design Aesthetics: Look for a minimalist design with clean lines and a simple dial. Sleek watches often feature a thin profile and understated elegance.
Material: Consider materials like stainless steel, titanium, or ceramic for durability and a premium feel. Leather straps can also add a touch of sophistication.
Size: A watch with a case diameter between 36mm to 40mm is typically considered sleek and suitable for most wrist sizes.
Movement Type: Decide between quartz (battery-powered) for accuracy and low maintenance or automatic (self-winding) for a classic touch and craftsmanship.
Brand Reputation: Brands known for their craftsmanship and design, such as Daniel Wellington, Skagen, or Tissot, often offer sleek options.
Recommendations:
Daniel Wellington Classic Sheffield: Known for its minimalist design, this watch features a slim profile and interchangeable straps, making it versatile for various occasions.
Skagen Holst: This watch combines a sleek design with a lightweight feel, featuring a clean dial and a mesh strap for a modern look.
Tissot Everytime: A classic Swiss watch with a simple design, it offers a timeless appeal and is available in various sizes and materials.
Junghans Max Bill: For a more premium option, this German watch is renowned for its Bauhaus design, featuring a clean dial and a thin case.
Choosing a sleek watch ultimately depends on your personal style and how you plan to use it, whether for casual wear or formal occasions.
