As long as it’s Qi certified you’ll be fine with whatever you get.

Whatever charger you get, make sure it's at least 7.5W in order to fast charge your iPhone. Also, a quick charge power adapter that's at least 15W.

I’m using a Samsung fast charger wireless charger that I used to charge my Galaxy s7 with. So far it does the job well.

I use the Ventev 15W charger. It works great and cuts out at 100 % so I don't gotta worry about that mess.

Two fastest and both easiest to use:

• Samsung 15W - charges 0 to 100% in 150 minutes
• Samsung 9W - charges 0 to 100% in 172 minutes

Only samsung official 15w chargers will charge at 15w. I have this one and it works flawlessly.

It has a built in for heat protection, which you can turn off through bixby routines for might charging, for example.

The Samsung fast wireless charger

Just get a decently reviewed Wireless charger from Amazon like the one mentioned already. I've had a Seneo almost identical to that one and it's over 3 years old and still working fine.

I'm thinking about buying the Samsung wireless charger battery pack instead, so I will have power pack plus wireless pad, good combo, no? Not sure if it will be okay to have it plugged in for long time though

I have the Samsung $15 one and its pretty good. You do need to have your own cable and box tho.

I switched to Apple and set up a portable charger station at work and at home. I don't see much difference between the wire and this one.

You need a 30w brick to get fast charging on the Pro Max 50% in 30 minutes). You can only fast charge with a cable. The most you can get from a wireless charger is 15w.

If you go with wireless, you need Apple’s MagSafe charger or any Qi2 charger from another brand. The original style Qi chargers will work but will only charge the iPhone at 7.5w.

Anker is a good option for a third party brand. I like their accessories better than the ones from Apple.

I'm not sure if you can call an $80 wireless charger the best bang for the buck. I personally use the Anker PowerWave 2-in-1 which goes for $35 but it peaks at 7.5W, and then you can get like their 20W for $14 or 30W for $16, and then a 2-pack of 6ft USB-C cables for $11.

I don't consider the 7.5W vs 15W difference to be an issue since I'm not on a time crunch when I have my phone on the charger while I'm working or sleeping.

I recently got the Baseus wireless charger for my car. Bending it in place was a little fiddly, but if you invest the time into getting it just right, it's quite good.

Nomad and anker are pretty good they have a variety of different charging stations. Ive bought a anker portable battery and its been lasting for a few years now. So going off that they're pretty good

Wired, any charger marked with the PPS protocol should charge at 25W. Wireless, only the official ones get to 15W.

Anything Anker and Aukey that can do PPS with a compatible cable will charge your phone at 25W.

I like using Anker, Aukey, and RAVPower because I don't trust other brands. They seem to be fairly cheap and reliable companies. I don't want to take risks with PD because it involves some communication between devices.

Wireless I do not know. Not a big fan of it.

The “wireless” charger has actually fixed this issue for me. I’ve been using it for a couple years now and its still going strong. Unfortunately nothing apple related will be bifl though as planned obsolescence is their whole thing.

Gonna come here and second Anker products. Their cables last forever, and their battery backups are fantastic. They come in a bunch of different lengths, and they also have dual chargers which are really handy as well.

You're breaking them because you're using the phone while it's plugged in. Don't do that. When it's charging, it's charging. Leave it alone. I get YEARS out of my cables. I don't even think I got the cable out of my latest phone box because I'm using the cable from the previous phone.

Anker all the way. Great warranty, and they last a good long time.

I use wireless charging, BUT I have turned off the "Fast Wireless Charging" option to reduce heat. My phone usually sits on the stand overnight so there's no reason for the fast charge anyway.

Saying the wireless charging totally destroyed his battery after 9 months is incorrect. I've been wirelessly charging for 5 years on my phone and it still lasts all day with heavy use and has anywhere from 20 to 40% left depending on how much screwing around I've done.

My wife's phone is even older than mine and works just fine and she wirelessly charges overnight and then puts it on a wireless charger while she's at work so it's getting double charging cycles at least.

To me, the biggest thing about wireless charger is I can keep my battery in the optimal range all the time. Which is basically 50-70%.

There is never any deep discharge cycle, every charge/discharge is like 5-15% most of the time. Battery never gets full or depleted. With a wireless charger by my desk, it's easy to get in a habit of just putting it on there and do these type of extremely frequent but short charging cycles. Can't do that with a cable.

Now if you are on the road all the time and you charge one time per day, then cable is the way to go.

To add. Wireless charging produce more heat and is less efficient. So if you have cable charging and wireless charging at the same wattage/speed, cable charging will be much better, faster and produce less heat.

Your logic is definitely sound the issue though is the amount of heat that wireless charging creates which is usually more than what fast charging creates. Your best bet is to charge via a cable and disabling any sort of “fast charging” options, I’m not sure after that but I would assume wired fast charging would still be better than wireless charging but that probably differs by device.
