Alaska and Hawaii are definitely cousins who are super different but still have a whale of a time at holiday parties

Oregon is the older brother, but one that is poorer and less driven than his little brother. He looks at Washington and just shakes his head, saying "Man, I love you, but you need to take things easier."

And for all that they have in common, RI is still so distinctly different. Different accents, different food, different local TV, different beaches (Narragansett/Newport beaches and Cape Cod are a totally different vibe). It's really unique that two small states so close together can have so much that separates one from the other.

I can see that lol Portland definitely feels like Seattle’s little bro in a lot of ways 

And CT is the child of divorce with shared custody between MA and NY

Don’t forget the black sheep, Idaho.

Nevada here, we’re definitely California’s little sister (Cindy, please. . .not Jan). Arizona, you can be Jan.

I’ve been to all three states and honestly I don’t really see a big bro-little bro dynamic between them. I find Nevada and Arizona quite distinct from California, while Arizona and Nevada seem like a 1A and 1B duo rather than a big brother, little brother duo.  

• Madonna is estranged from her brother Christopher
• Julia Roberts was estranged from her brother Eric for a period of time, as well.
• Dennis Quaid is estranged from his brother Randy.
• Britney Spears is estranged from her sister Jamie Lynn

At this point I think it's safe to say that Prince William and Prince Harry are estranged as well.

Yeah, it sucks for both the kids involved. Louis because his POS dad who abandoned him + his teenage mom only wants to reconnect for money and fame and was using his daughter to do that, the daughter because it truly isn’t her fault that she wanted a relationship with her older half-brother her dad abandoned. Side note, can you imagine waking up one day and finding out a member of your favourite boy band is your brother? Great fan fic material lol

I always thought the rumours are that the rift really started going after William cheated on Kate, but that part has never been said by either brother in public.

I thought both older Quaid brothers were big douchebags?

It must have been pretty big back in the day because I was never a 1D fan and I knew about it.

I think it may be more “family” than just “siblings” but it’s still a great! I really hope we get Jason and Dick as bros this season!

I have yet to see a family that rivals the dysfunction of the Crocks and Wu-Sans.

If you want to force it, we also had Babs and Cass and probably will have Dick and Jason next.

This segment might give us Mary and Billy.

That seems to be just a small sample size.

I feel like it’s hard, not to hang out with certain siblings that are closer to your age than younger ones. Like Lilee, Luke, SaiDee, NayVee are all within a year or so of each other. Paislee is 6 years younger than Lilee.

The P’s are identical to each other in looks and interests and about 2 years apart.

B & L - are the 2 youngest boys and share some of the same interests. But they’re also 5 years apart in age.

I feel like E & D, do their own thing. But hang out sometimes together. But again, they’re 2 years apart.

I’d assume that’s normal in a family so large. Different ages, interests, personalities, schedules…all would contribute to that. To elaborate on personalities, some people just click better than others, including in families.

mer and amelia, hands down. watching them go from heated debates and harsh words, mer telling amelia that she wasn’t her sister, to mutual tolerance, sharing vulnerabilities, and becoming as close they are now .. they have one of the most beautiful relationships on the show.

mer: “i don’t always like you.”

amelia: slightly hurt. “wow, okay.”

mer: “but it doesn’t matter. because you’re family. i love you.” 😭

one of my favourite moments is at amelia’s wedding to owen where she’s having a breakdown, and meredith tells her that she’s her ‘person’. whatever amelia wants, she’ll do it. she’ll kick her down the aisle, she’ll give her a shoulder to cry on, she’ll tell her she’s beautiful, or drive the getaway car (which she did!) :)

Definitely the DeLucas I can relate to them the most. They remind me of me and my little brother.

Others have mentioned some SM groups, but the brother/sister thing has been pretty intentional since 2nd gen in the company:

• TVXQ/CSJH (vocal-focused, acappella)

• Super Junior/SNSD (huge groups)

• SHINee/f(x) (musically distinct/unusual sound)

• EXO/Red Velvet (more conceptually focused)

• NCT/aespa (pushing marketing/technology)

Could probably describe them differently and it has gotten fuzzier more recently as the turnover of new groups has slowed a bit. But the general idea is that a boy group would debut and a girl group would follow with a somewhat compatible/like-minded concept.
