TL;DR
Resonance and Leveling Strategy
In the context of leveling characters in Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, achieving Resonance 10 is generally considered sufficient for most content [1:1]. While some players suggest going beyond Resonance 10 can help tackle more challenging endgame content, it requires significantly more resources
[1:4]. It's often more resource-efficient to focus on optimizing team builds and rotations rather than pushing resonance levels higher unless you have surplus resources
[1:2].
Character Prioritization
When deciding which characters to level, prioritize those that provide critical support or damage-dealing capabilities. For example, Kakania is highlighted as a character worth investing in due to her HP scaling, which makes her particularly effective at higher resonance levels [1:8]
[1:10]. Other characters like Lucy and Liang were noted for their utility in specific game modes
[1:4].
Job Leveling and Synergy
In terms of job leveling, it's beneficial to diversify your character's job levels to around 9 per character, allowing for greater flexibility in job and sub-job combinations [3:1]. This strategy provides more options for passive skills and can be advantageous when facing difficult bosses. The game encourages job swapping by implementing a soft cap on job levels, making it more efficient to explore different jobs and their synergies
[3:2].
Leveling Areas and Methods
For leveling up efficiently, consider targeting areas with enemies that provide high experience points relative to their difficulty. In other games, strategies such as utilizing Skells to defeat small but high-level enemies are effective [5:9]. Although not directly applicable to FFVII Rebirth, similar principles can be applied by focusing on battles that maximize experience gain without excessive challenge.
Is it worth leveling up some chatacters to resonnance 11 or 12? I have most my characters in resonnace 10 i3 level 30 but they still cant beat the new end game content, or should i just try to get them to level 60 instead of optimizing their resonnace? Any advice or thoughts?
Resonance 10+ is not really worth it imo unless you're prepared to sacrifice a lot of resources that could go into a Euphoria for another character instead. It may be more in terms of your team builds/rotations if anything unless we talking Reveries content, you don't need to go higher than I3 Lv30 R10
If its reveries, do we need to get to more than resonnace 10 then?
No, you can clear everything at 10 easily.
There's only a few chars I'd consider higher resonance on, Kakania because of how she scales and because of she's very strong, and Windsong because of how she plays you really want to maximize her damage output so you don't have to do another ult rotation(and even that is questionnable unless you can actually clear in one less rotation).
Obviously if you have hundreds of caskets sitting there might as well but it's extremely cost ineffective in terms of power.
To branch from this question, is i3 lvl 30 with resonance 10 enough to clear all reveries and semmelweis game mode in the hardest difficulty?
I’m gonna go against the grain of other comments in this thread and say no.
I’m almost a day one player, and until Reveries I was cruising with i3 lvl 30 res 10. But then I got to 400M. Going from res 10 to 15 would make a stage go from “dang, I got so close to clearing but just couldn’t get there” to “that was a fun challenge!” I also leveled from 30 to 60 on just a handful of characters (Lucy, Liang, Bkornblume, and Satsuki) which helped less than higher res, but I’m sure did help.
Can’t speak for Series of Dusk as I stopped playing that mode “seriously” before the first expansion dropped. I burned myself out trying to find every artifact not realizing a ton more were coming lol.
Might just be a skill issue on my part, but once you have the resources to spare, or stamina to grind for those resources, higher res makes Reveries much more manageable.
How about we level them the resonnace 11 or 12 and not fully to 15? Would it still make reveries a bit more managable?
I'd say that you're already at a good point, I3R10 and Lv. 30 is the ideal for almost every character (prioritizing the DPS and then the Supports).
If you really REALLY like a character and have the resources to max it then go ahead, BUT keep in mind that to take a character from Resonance 11 to 12 or higher requires many resources. Same thing for leveling characters from Lv. 30 to 60.
Overall, considering that you said you can clear the new endgame content, I don't see why you would want to enhance them more.
No my characters can clear limbo but they're struggling to clear the new modes that came with 2.5 and 2.6
Oh my bad, I misread sorry.
Could you show me your built characters then? Because if you're talking about the Lucidscape, you want mainly characters who deal AoE damage to make these stages easier. Also check your Psychubes if they need to be upgraded.
Fatutu already fully heals people when you use the shell recall skill, healing them for 100% or 150% makes no difference. The reason Kakania is good is because more hp means a higher cap on Empathy.
So far, Kakania is the only one worth it to resonance 15 due to her HP scaling
You already have recoleta and got her to r15? 😂 you must not be a f2p
I dont know which are characters to level up
Marvell if you have him. Only one worth leveling due to AOE silence for PVP.
Nah thats crazy. The SR are so good in this game and you need to level them to clear content.
Marvell not as useful to be considered necessary for module farming in the later stages as he doesn't push back the enemies as far as he used to now.
Dinah is great for AoE DEF break & Vulnerability, Chikaki the Echo, and Kraken. Sania > Dorothy for healer
Here are some suggestions:

Aww, the whiny little boy is scared of questions 😭😭😭
Oh man if it hurts you that much you should probably get off reddit
Marvell and especially Gray - build Crit so he can effect DEF more consistently
Marking this as spoiler just incase. Just cleared the fire Crystal (and beat the FF Version of a Kirby monster).
A couple of jobs have hit level 9, but I became a little disheartened to see that they jump to 3500 JP to level up.
Do you usually push through? Or do you just start leveling up your other jobs regardless of whether or not you think you really want to use them? I see that JP has scaled (unlike BD2, where it doesn’t) so I was thinking about saving going past 9 for next chapter and beyond.
Swap jobs. The game has the massive JP spike to kind of soft cap job levels. It's the game's way of forcing you to switch up your team without actively forcing it since the amount of JP needed to get from 9 to 10 could have gotten you two more jobs to 9. As for what to swap with, probably something that synergizes well with what you're swapping off of. For example if you were a Spell Fencer swap to something like Ranger or Pirate to add elemental damage to your physical DPS, or if swapping from White Mage consider Performer or Salve Maker to add utility and buffs to your healer.
Generally, I get a handful of jobs to level 9 per character. Not huge amounts but around 3-5 at least I'd say. Having a lot of level 9 jobs gives you a whole lot more choices for job and subjob combos, as well as passives, going forwards - which is great for if you get stuck on a boss. it also let's you experiment with more jobs and that might help you decide which jobs you most want to push up in level once JP gains improve.
In Chapter 4, JP increases a decent amount and it starts becoming viable to push for level 10 and above, or you can continue pushing up a few more jobs to level 9 if you prefer (particularly the new jobs you get in chapter 4). Chapter 5 they increase again and it becomes quite easy to level to 10 and beyond.
This.
I'm on chapter 3 at the moment and have roughly 3-4 jobs per character at level 9. Some of them are level 10 (I think my spellfencer is actually level 11 at this point lol), but I used them quite heavily during story dungeons or keeping certain attackers around for easy battles while I leveled jobs on others - stuff like that, so I wasn't consciously leveling them or anything.
I actually grinded out JP Up on all my characters in chapter 2, it just depends on if there's a skill I want.
It’s a soft cap to encourage you to use other jobs if you haven’t already. Don’t be disheartened, you’ll be earning 999 JP per farming fight in no time and blasting through those levels.
The game is telling you it’s time to swap jobs.
Reading Another Post on the Series, this was going to be comment but, i decided to throw myself on the ring and speak my mind while at it.
I´m currently playing my first-ish Final Fantasy (VII Rebirth), and i have some opinions, expect minor spoilers / spoilers for the first hour:
Why FF VII Rebirth? Also, Why skipping Remake? >!Because i´m dumb!<
I choose FF VII Rebith because:
(1) I prefer real time combat to turn based, that usually distanced me from the series, I did play FF IV (3D Remake), and got fairly far, but it didn´t resonated with me and dropped it>! after the green haired woman returned to the party.!<
(2) I was already familiar with the overall story of FF VII from memes to reading about it, i was accepting that the story may not be as impactful skipping the first game in the new universe (but i am pleasantly surprised by how much i enjoy the story so far).
I know that skipping a game in a series is shunned upon, specially with how beloved the original game is, BUT, i´m the one placing their thoughts on the internet today, and i feel that game can stand on its own legs.
What do i think about it?
For context: This game feels welcoming, even for a neofite, the prologue/first chapter introduces the antagonist, as well as clues you to the overall story: this is a story about societal and ecological activism, against animal testing, against mega-corporations, etc. (Also, unresolved personal matters between the main character and the main antagonist. )
It is very 90s in that regard: Ecoactivism was big news, specially because of how many enviromental issue we had: acid rain, species dying, animal testing, oil spills, etc. And those are reflected in the game. I like that. Remember the old meaning of the term "Woke"? someone who is aware, someone that is "in the know" of what is happening, of what is meaningful. Given that the game is from 1997, the game would´ve been woke by those standars. That´s neat. Love me some Good Woke Games regardless of the time.
I do have some issues:
(1) The cutscenes are long; i can see myself hating on their lenght, plus the in-combat cutscenes, and everything, but given how much of the story is enjoyable, i can look past that. Still, interrupting the player for so long, is... eh...
(2) The non-boss combats are either: uneventful, or the enemies have a bothersome ability that is more a nuissance than a challenge. I do enjoy the combat challenges, they are mini-bosses with good lenght and a fair-ish challenge but those are sparced in the wide open world.
(3) I dislike the anime tropes (which that´s on me, i simply didn´t expected them to be so... blatant, still that´s 100% my fault, I won´t dwell on it, even though it is my second greatest gripe so far)
(4) The amount of uneventful sites, they look great, but... researching the springs, the archeological sytes, the towers, etc. can be boring. Plus looting, plus the casual grind... it is not my cup of tea, even though they are a feature. This is probably the reason i won´t play other FF in some time, i want to see as much of the story, gameplay and features, but if they are barricated beyond a grind-gate, it just ain´t worth it sometimes.
What i enjoy a lot:
(1) the combat is interesting, i wouldn´t call it the best, but using elements from turn-based combats, with the ATP, materia, summons, etc. It let´s you plan while you battle but without the downtime or "stat-checks", it also allows for heavy mixing as magic is not exclusive to a few characters / classes.
(2) the bosses are a highlight: they are long, drawn out battles that highlight each component of the combat system: (a) juggling between characters as you priorize healing, stagger, damage, or mitigation, (b) filling the ATP, Limit Breaker and Summoning gauges, (c) Spells, Abilities and Items, (4) aerial attacks, (e) targeting different body parts, (f) spacing, etc. They aren´t hard, but you can die easily if you don´t priorice things.
(3) the story is neat, specially the foreshadowing >!(It is heavily alluded to how Tifa doesn´t remember Cloud being in the prologue story, even though it is Cloud the one telling it)!< it feels like it respects its characters, allows them to feel and be serious with their feelings, not confusing "comedy" with "coolness", but instead trusting the player to be seriously invested in the story, its characters and their emotions.
I often times dislike stories with "too much comedy", not because of the comedy, but because it feels like the characters can´t take the story, the stakes, or themselves seriously. The "funny guy is the hero" kind of deal of soo many recent comedy-action movies breaks any emotional attachment i can have with the story. But I´m pleased with the story so far: the characters are optimistic but grounded on their context: "Yeah! we will win! because... because else... well, there is not an else for the world... We HAVE to win..." That´s refreshing and welcomed.
Even through the barrage of anime tropes the game has, it has the balls to be serious with the story and its characters. It does allows itself to be funny, charming, dumb and somewhat creepy when the stakes are lower, i know this is not exclusive to the game or series, but it is something i want to highlight, and something that may me want to return to the series.
(4) finally, the game look and sounds GOOOOD, inside and outside of battle, I had to lower some effects just to read some battles better, specially against non-boss encounters, but against bosses the effects look great. (i would love a toggle for that: lower spectacle against trash mobs) related to that: some character´s faces do look a bit odd, uncanny, weird, trying-to-do-3d-anime-is-hard kind-of-weird, it is not horrid, several characters look great, but I believe some may want me crucified if i state some of offending character´s names...
In conclusion: I came with middling expectations: the game, and the series as a whole, has a huge following i´ve never interacted with; i knew that starting the story in the second third was unadvisable; JRPGs aren´t usually my thing; and that i´m not a fan of anime tropes or aesthetics: But still, I´m enjoying myself, the game has solid themes, story and characters, the gameplay has its ups and downs, the audio and visuals are great and i can see myself playing another game like this in a few years, but not too soon probably.
TL;DR: I won´t call it the best game ever, nor one of my favorites unless the last chapters change my viewpoint. Still I´m enjoying it.
You'd enjoy Xenoblade Chronicles 1. Just dont set out to do the sidequests, just beeline the story. Game is gorgeous through and through and has a mature story. The setting is just jaw dropping: you live in the body of a bipedal thousand mile high colossus of biomatter called The Bionis, which died along with its counterpart, The Mechonis, their bodies forever stuck in the battle stance they died on, a ginormous sword connecting the two. As friction happens between the people of Bionis and the machines of Mechonis the main character gains the power to wield a sword that apparently lets him have visions of the future. As you explore you see that you are just on gigantic body parts that stretch horizon to horizon on these fantastical vistas, and as weather changes or night falls you start to see the distant blinking of red lights from the Mechonis in the distance. Its pretty fucking cool
I plan on playing XC1 someday. But what's wrong with the side quests? For me I love being OP in games by doing side content first lol.
There are so so so many of them. Like every area has some 15 sidequests about collecting items that randomly spawn around it, killings x amount of y enemy or killing 1 slightly stronger version of a regular enemy at a random location. Really basic MMO "I wanna make tea for my grandma so kill 10 boars for me" type deal. They have a huge menu for the "affnitty chart", which is a relationship chart between every NPC amongst themselves. It is an immense OCD hell thing to try and fill it up completely, but thats mostly what the sidequests are for: progressing the affinity chart because after you kill 10 boars and the kid makes the tea, the affinity chart will now show you that the relationship between the kid and his grandma is now better. This in turn spawns a quest for the grandma for you to go collect 5 Bags of Heroin around town for her to smoke because the tea just aint doing it.
This leaves you at the middle point of the game at around the 60h mark. Its just busywork. None of these sidequests are memorable or meaningful. Its tiring, repetitive and made many people eventually abandon the game because of it. Meanwhile, if you beeline it and just pick up sidequests and do them as you walk towards the main objective without going back and forth and back and forth you hit at least one major cutscene per hour or two of game time and you can FEEL the "intended" pace of the game.
It has been on my radar, but, to be honest, I have the preconception of it being quite a horny (but not porn) game hahaha
Maybe soon I'll try it to test that prejudice and play it
Thanks for the recommendation!
Combat is also my favorite part of the remakes, everything else has left me cold but didn't keep me from completing the first one.
The combat is really interesting in how it mixes everything, if the game didn't had the turn based inspirations it would be a lot more generic in my opinion. That makes it really unique.
Do you have any party composition of character preference?
I appreciated that some of the side-characters in the original were more fleshed out (e.g. Jessie). As far as party I was not that fussed because it's pretty much Cloud-and-friends. I remember using Aerith to fight the house boss but don't recall if that was forced.
"I can see myself playing another game like this....but not too soon probably"
That's the correct take to have. I love JRPGs but there are only so many anime tropes that I can take in until I start to dislike the genre, so I only play one JRPG per year and it worked well for me so far.
That and the grind/scale/size... it is kind of big
I wonder how much they tweaked crafting, materials, gear compared to the original, because gear comes by sparingly, i don´t feel the need for a lot of grinding, and it feels fair-ish.
Against the simulated bosses i do need to grind for better gear, but those are the exception.
Thanks! I mainly use it to practice my writen english!
Not liking long cutscenes when that’s trademark Final Fantasy
Is it really? Or maybe square has still to discover how to make proper dialogues and cutscenes that don't feel bloated.
I just started chapter 7, I'm going to finish it. For now, I have the skell, but it's difficult for me because I have some characters with class level 20, and others have class level 4. Can you recommend an area, I'm level 29, thank you
Just to clarify, class level is not overall level. Your companions level up even out of your Team, they have to be with you to level up their classes. They'll reach level 30 about the same time as you
There's a few tricks you can do.
At early game there's a console mission that gives some exp, 12 class exp and 8 BP which can be cleared in less than 10 seconds with a levelled range art which whilst not a lot when spammed over and over isn't to bad.
Next is the Irina method in which you control Irina and take advantage of her Brain Jack art into using servant sacrifice to try and instant kill things a few levels higher than you. This one can be a bit tricky to get to grips with and Servant Sacrifice is fussy as hell to hit as well as landing the initial brain jack can go wrong so be careful with it.
Otherwise as far as Class levels specifically are concerned I wouldn't worry until you unlock a certain method of transportation and then is look up what is referred to as "Joker farming"
The Grand Plot can easily level you to 40. Plus I loved the additional class points.
OP, how's your gear? If you haven't yet, you can start transitioning now from raw attack to TP gain and maximize Overdrive.
Stun or Topple can guarantee Servant Sacrifice's kill, since it seems to work off an accuracy check that those debuffs bypass. Irina can use Assault Hammer to try and get a topple off before sacrificing. If you can craft any Resistance Reducer augments, even a level V would probably go a long way for landing both Control and Topple.
Enel put a video out on this. Basically get the one heavy skell that has some Thermal Dmg Up effects on its gear, not Mastema the other one, then throw a Phoenix weapon on it and grab a few Insecoid Slayer XX augments and throw it on your weapons (despite being XX this is VERY easy Skell Weapon augment to make). Then there is a ravine in Oblivia with tons of higher level Bugs. You run through pulling them all, then kill them with a single Phoenix. Go watch Enel's video for the exact location and build parameters. That is just the general strategy.
This is an excellent method! I leveled all my classes to max pre 60 before moving to joker farming….
Isn't Joker farm post Chapter 9 though as it requires something not obtainable until then? I mean I did list it in my suggestions but someone requesting how in chapter 7 I don't think can Joker farm lol
Joker is. I'm talking about a Ravine, no flight required, in Oblivia. It has a bunch of the flying mosquito type enemies and germivores. It's that one narrow ravine that has a little oasis in the middle of it. All of them are like 50+ and die very easily to a single Phoenix with 2 or 3 Insectoid Slayer augments.
ShyneetMagician obtained the personalized copy of Xenoblade X where Joker is in Oblivia
Find any small-size enemies (like Blattas) that are higher level than you and proceed to eradicate them with Skells. Exp is based on level, but enemy difficulty is based on size. So you will be able to mow down hordes of small enemies with ease while still earning the same amount of exp.
Do you have Skells? If so, go to the Greater Gemini Bridge in NW Primordia and repeatedly walk back and forth on the Level 46 female Prone soldier there. Don't draw your weapons, just step on her over and over. You can get your levels up to the mid-40s pretty easily while doing this. And at the same time you can earn enough Class Points for everyone who is currently on your roster.
With the rebirths do they get easier to get through the levels or harder. I just did 9 working on 10th. I know the 31st adds another 15% as you go forward.
Second question is about the leaders we fight. I finished the pirate one. How many more leaders do we fight? What are they and what is the best team and health needed for them?
Thanks for any help given.
Essentially all the earlier areas get easier and faster, but the final area where you buy the rebirth, costs more each time, so that area always takes like… many hours by itself
Youre kidding me😭 it gets more than the 10 DE?😭😭😭 i see people with 20 rebirths and just shake my head. I know they did it before the Gold bonus rework but dang😭
This is the file someone shared here to help guide you.
Thank you
Grats on this plat. I honestly shake my head every time I see the plat % on PS Profiles......I don't understand how it's so high..
Yeah, I assume it's mainly from PSNprofiles being a site directed toward trophy hunters. Thus, all the casual players wouldn't be calculated into the final %. But still, 12.6% is insane after playing through it!
Niiiice. I gotta get around to finishing it, I'm on chapter 12 of hard mode and those Ultimate Party Animal combat challenges are so dumb....can't wait for the VR boss gauntlet
Good luck, you will need it, make sure you use every mechanic available in those hard VR gauntlets
Congratulations on the plat! 😎
Hey guys me and my homie are having a tough time with reincarnation 10. While we’ve beaten 9 numerous times last season, 10 seems like a big step in difficulty mostly because we’re not putting out enough damage/quick deaths/ enemies have Gnarly defense
For those of you regularly running reincarnation 10, what is your win/loss ratio say… out of ten runs?
Am I just not using the new season dynamic well enough?
Do we need 2 more people? (Meant to run in full parties?)
We’re trying to run the owl and the ice girl
> Am I just not using the new season dynamic well enough?
If you're playing with Talismans on and not winning, then you are definitely not abusing them well enough. They add a ridiculous amount of power to players. If you're running owl, I'd say to use the spirit talisman with the condition of secondary use and then just be Gambit and throw cards. As for Lyn, the GOAT, just taking a shoot condition and laying into them with an AR should help pop that off.
Aside from that, there are some very easy wins to get out of this game, even if you play multiplayer without Lone Wolf. For example, take the Prince (Cat) and get Painkiller as your first blessing. His grenades will automatically cause all 3 elements which makes everything short of Elites/Bosses fight each other. It makes clearing easy and it's still pretty good in the boss fights still. Skilled Trick on anyone with good weapon loadouts can get silly as well.
It's hard to give direct advice without, like, watching you play. Just know that horrible RNG aside, you can get consistent wins on R10 when you know what you're doing.
I thought I knew what I was doing I guess not. I’ll keep smashing my head against the wall I guess lol
I just did a series where I made a new save file and tried to get to and beat R10 in as few runs as possible. For the R10 run, I did exactly what I said above with the Prince and beat it first try (no seasonal mechanics). Don't smash your head too hard, there's probably just a few things in your play that you need to tighten up and then it will be a breeze.
Are you playing with any Bizarre Dream modifications? A lot of them offer interesting plays to alter the experience, but most can be seen as buffs.
Do you actively use soul essences to buy spiritual blessings and enhanced occult scrolls from paddlers? Quite costly but always worth if you make it through a run.
Are you familiar with the character/do you understand its synergies? Most failed runs of mine stem from the fact that I thought I would get the hang of characters on the fly. Its worth to check their ascension and blessings to look for specific builds and synergies you didn't know of.
The Talisman mechanic is very strong. Take the time to read their effects and pair them with a fitting character or build. Talisman are very strong when supporting a heros main playstyle, but some can even work completely independently. They will certainly boost your power level if you build them well.
Hmm for solo I find Lone Wolf makes this much easier.
But if you are struggling with stage one.
Explosive and corrosive weapons give you much needed cc to move though the rooms.
Bone Dragon and Prism are particularly good choices to control the sturdier enemies
Prioritize bomb throwers and spearman
While it may not be fun but try to prioritize defensive ascension early as you'll naturally ramp up in offense as the run continues.
Good point I need to focus on building my defense with ascension and buff power with scrolls. I have never done this
It is tough and a decent chunk of it comes down to RNG. I find if I can make it to zone 3/after the desert area, Im generally fine. I know that in zone 2, the worm boss has a bigger AoE then the cat can dash out of if the cat does not have any speed buffs.
I play with a friend or solo with lone wolf. I never take painkiller as my starting blessing, it makes the game to easy. I do take counterviolence though on most runs and if Im going solo I take the 20% chance to get enhanced scrolls as my lone wolf option.
R10 is no cakewalk, and some heroes are simply better equipped at tackling it than others. But it can be done with all of them! (I've documented runs for each hero and shared them on YT if you care to look them up)
My one big advice and easy to follow mindset for R10 is as folllows: Damage Mitigation => Mobility > Damage Output > Utility.
If you ever get the choice between scrolls and ascensions, you nearly always want to pick scrolls that give Damage mitigation of some kind, be that health / shield regen, more health to work with or straight up damage reduction improvements. That is your highest priority throughout most R10 runs i find.
After that comes mobility. Nearly always as great as damage mitigation, mobility allows you to straight up avoid taking damage, especially on regular R10 runs or with only 2 people. With 4 people or doing Lone Wolf 4 challenges, mobility loses its premier status in priority, but is still always valuable.
Third priority is usually damage output. More damage means you have to spend less time fighting which means less time to potentially mess up.
And lastly is utility. Now generally, utilities such as more money, more secondary skill refill drops or ammo generators are rarely ever too helpful in actual fighting, but thats not to say all utility scrolls are low priority. It all depends on your hero and build you are looking for. A prime example is Advanced Depot. Build defining and game-breakingly good for some characters and builds, nearly useless or a downright bad option for others. Use your critical thinking for cases where utility present themselves.
Great explanation I’m going to think this way
5-Intense
4-Very Hard
3-Hard
2-Intermediate
1-Easy
I plan on making a post at some point going over each route with some tips and detail, so consider this post to be a teaser for what’s to come.
The final stage for Hero's Classic Mode is annoying from trying not to die from Forward Tilt or Back Air at 33 when he's huge and a cheeser
I only beat that due to getting 3 Snoozes. Godlike luck for that otherwise horrible boss fight.
Ike should be on easy. I got 9.9 in 3 tries and most battles I Just spammed special moves
Round 6 gave me some trouble. Sure there’s walkoff cheese but the Links weren’t making it easy for me. I think that some brain power is required here that isn’t for the 1 star characters.
Really? I never Lost to the links, Just spammed UP Smash and won every time lol
Oh from what I remember I 100% put villager 5 stars
I wanted the rating system to function like a bell curve. I don’t think that Round 6 is so bad that it requires a 5 star rating, even though Izzy is definitely sweaty enough to make a solid case for it.
Mario, Luigi, and Bayonetta were the only three I had trouble with, I'd put them all at the top.
The key to Mario is to spam Super Jump lunch while on top of Princess Peach’s Castle, waiting for Bowser Jr. and the Koopalings to come to you.
As for Luigi, the Miis can be defeated by using Luigi Cyclone.
For Bayonetta, do not stay center stage on Skyworld. You will probably get your ass kicked by the Pits.
I appreciate the tips but I did finish these runs back in December 2017 so I'm good now :P
I respect Sakurai for making these wonderful games but goddam Classic mode really makes me rage sometimes. Especially the ones where CPU gang up and no time to breathe
Im stuck at 10th story, and i dont know which characters to upgrade. Any recommendations? Also a lineup would be good.
Beach Teresse + elpis and then just magic units for an ez team comp. Should clear most content
You can try arines, liberta/ba theresa, Diana, luvencia, stray cat rou
i'd say that using the magical team dalvi and eclipse that you get for free + b idol helena (getting her to +5 with tickets helps) and elpis and youre good to go maybe until pack 14 if anything. Only thing missing from there would be levia for the vulnerability which i was lucky enough to get early. Magical team with Dalvi and Eclipse is pretty easy to get early on cause they're free
