TL;DR
Optimize Titles, Thumbnails, and Descriptions
Creating engaging titles and thumbnails is crucial for attracting viewers. Your title should be descriptive and include relevant keywords to enhance searchability [4:1]. Thumbnails should be eye-catching but not misleading, as they are the first thing potential viewers see
[3:1]
[5:1]. It's also important to ensure your video descriptions are rich in keywords to improve SEO
[2:2].
Collaborations and Networking
Collaborating with other YouTubers can significantly boost your channel's visibility. Working with channels similar to yours can introduce you to a new audience and increase subscriber count [1:2]
[1:4]. Additionally, creating a community around your content, such as through Discord, can help maintain engagement
[5:6].
Social Media and Cross-Promotion
While some users found Facebook less effective, Reddit and Google searches were mentioned as useful platforms for driving traffic [1:2]. Sharing videos on various social media platforms can extend your reach beyond YouTube
[3:1]. However, it's essential to post in relevant groups and forums where your target audience is active.
Paid Advertising
Utilizing Google Ads can be an effective way to increase views and gain genuine subscribers [1:1]. This method allows you to target specific demographics and interests, potentially leading to higher engagement rates. However, it requires a budget, so weigh the costs against potential benefits.
Content Quality and Consistency
High-quality content that keeps viewers engaged is fundamental. Ensure your videos are well-edited, with good audio and visual quality [3:2]
[5:3]. Consistent posting helps retain viewers and attract new ones, but the content must resonate with a broad audience to maximize viewership
[5:1].
We have been uploading new videos on our YouTube channel 5 days a week, so we succeeded to achieve a consistent posting.
The next step is increasing engagement and the number of video views.
We have tried out reposting links in relevant groups on Facebook and Reddit, which brought us dozens of views.
What other effective methods of boosting video views can you recommend?
Obviously for somebody on YouTube to click ur video your thumbnail has to be reall good. On reddit etc. You have to have interesting titles. And then just go like you said with posting in relevant socials like reddit etc.
What abour collaboration with other channels?
I did a collaboration with someone that had a channel just like mine and when the video dropped on his channel I got like 60 subs right away
I find posting on facebook pretty much a waste I never get any views from there. Most mine come from reddit and google searches so make sure you have good words in title to show up in google
A good thumbnail and interesting titles - got it!

Best way to increase video views. Consistency, good titles, good clickable thumbnails. Solid descriptions. And a ridiculous amount of patience.
Hey, thanks! What about collaboration with other relevant chanells?
I've heard that it can be super helpful to some. But I've never done it, myself. So I wouldn't be the right person to ask. Sorry.
The key to getting traffic is having great CTR, hitting the right niches and optimizing your titles and description with SEO. Your thumbnails are good, though I think the text is a little too small, it's just about readable on desktop but on mobile its tough. A good rule of thumb to follow is to make your text at least 25-30% of the size of your thumbnail to make sure people can read it.
The main issue with your current low views (for your channel size) is that most people probably subbed for your Jolly Battle videos, and with your pivot into Kids Arts & Craft, you are finding out your subs aren't that interested in that content. As such, its like starting a new channel, and you are getting the expected traffic of a low sub channel.
Hey, thanks! Gonna work on improving thumbnails!
I'm pretty new to YouTube, can you tell me what is CTR and SEO?
Perhaps YouTube also limits the reach of content that isn't properly marked as "Made for Kids"?
How long have you been uploading consistently for?
For 2 months
Evil way: Clickbait Good way: Make content people want to see
But people love click bait. That’s why those videos always blow up

I feel that to increase views on YouTube, a catchy title and thumbnail work first. I use the right keywords in the tags and description of the video so that it appears in search. I make the video engaging so that people watch it till the end, and I upload regular videos. I also share it on other platforms for extra reach.
By making good content, trending keywords a clickable thumbnail and a good title.
Getting views on YouTube is not just about uploading videos, it’s about how you present them. Your thumbnail and title are the first things people see, so make sure they grab attention instantly. Don’t go too clickbaity though, just enough to spark curiosity.
Also, try to keep people watching longer. If your video has good watch time, YouTube will push it more. Use trending topics if possible, and don’t forget to share your videos on Reddit, Facebook groups, or even WhatsApp.
Sometimes it’s slow in the beginning, but if you stay consistent, your views will grow over time.

If I give you the link to my channel, can you give me some feedback please? 🙏
If you are posting at least once every month or two, consistency doesn't really matter. Here's what matters: your video need to be widely recognizable and understanding through the thumbnail and title. Your video needs to be interesting to a huge general audience. It needs to get them to click and keep them watching. That's literally the only factors that matter. To summarize:
If I give you the link to my channel, can you give me some feedback on it? 😊
Hey all,
I’m getting closer to YouTube monetization, but hitting the required views and watch time has been tough. Despite putting in the effort, my videos aren’t gaining the traction I need to reach that next level.
I’ve been hearing a lot about using third-party tools to boost views, and I’m curious if anyone has tried this route. Did it really help with video visibility, getting your content in front of a larger audience, or improving engagement? If you’ve used it, how did it affect your growth and progress toward monetization?
I’m just looking for any advice or insights from people who’ve actually used these tools and how they worked for you. Would love to hear what’s been effective!
It only hurts your channel. You need views to make money. If you boost your sub count, that won't lead to views. Subs at the end of the day don't matter, it's views and CTR that add up to your channel being successful.
I get that views matter most, but I still wonder if a small sub boost could help with early visibility.
3rd party views don't count towards monetization. They must be organic.
I see what you mean, but I still feel an early boost in visibility can help with reach while I keep focusing on organic growth.
Thumbnails, titles, and engaging content in your niche is the most effective.
Third party tools will get you bot subscribers and bot views and will kill your channel.
I get your point strong thumbnails, titles, and niche content are key, I just wanted to see if an early boost could also help with visibility.
The boost would be fake. Ghost subs that don’t view your content which will kill your channel. To be successful, you must grow an organic community of subscribers that want to watch your content. Getting bot followers might get you visibility but not real subscribers.
Just livestream regularly. Do 2 hours a couple times a week.
You can’t shortcut the process. Some of those services can get your channel terminated.
I see, I’ll focus on safer ways to grow instead.

How to use it:
Think of it like starting a fire, all it needs is a spark. Engagement through comments is one of the fastest ways for beginners to learn how to get subscribers on YouTube fast, since loyal fans often come from conversations.
2. Thumbnail A/B Testing: Data-Driven First Impressions

When you’re ready to level up your channel, TurboRank is here to help. We don’t just rank you, we turbocharge your success.
Stay tuned for more fast, simple YouTube strategies to keep you growing every week.
Turbo tips are basically: be human. Reply to comments, try a couple of thumbnails, and actually chat with your audience. YouTube notices effort, your viewers notice effort, and suddenly growth happens without you spamming nonsense everywhere.
Outsmarting YouTube isn’t magic. It’s commenting smart, testing thumbnails, and actually talking to your audience instead of posting and praying. Do it right and you’re the algorithm’s favorite. Do it wrong and it gently ignores your existence.
Turbo tips are just about being smart, helpful, and a little playful: reply to comments, try different thumbnails, and actually chat with your viewers. Done right, the algorithm smiles. Done wrong… well, you still tried, and that counts.
Love that YouTube is focusing more on personal engagement. Makes it about community, not vanity metrics.
These strategies are super practical. Using replies to boost distribution is genius, and native thumbnail A/B testing makes experimenting way easier. Personal engagement really is the key loyal fans keep a channel alive far longer than viral spikes.
Im a really small "youtuber" with around ~250 subscribers and even when I put alot of work into editing a video, (Video itself, Thumbnail, description, tags, etc), I still only get around 150 views max. I've tried a lot of things but the content im looking to create (gaming) in the specific games I like, they usually just don't get a lot of traction and just end up dying out. Any tips on how to increase views on my videos / livestreams? Like I said before, I've already tried the basic things such as thumbnails, titles, etc. And no, i'm not posting videos about a highly saturated game.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Streaming would probably work, it can get you a lot of views, and also playing games can net you a lot of views too
I'm still at 16 subs with 15 vids
https://open.spotify.com/show/3GlrRWSPGPSzekUKyVwxIz?si=NMkGuTz8RGm-DAeb7OrnHA
This is well worth your time
And also doing let’s plays too
I only have 100 subs and get like 20 views per cid so I can’t help much but you could try streaming? That grew my channel a ton
Hey guys, I've been on youtube for long, but some videos get views others don't and I end up being stuck! What's the proven ways of getting views on youtube and does youtube ads work?
Firstly, stop posting in the "promote your channel" subreddits. It's only hurting your numbers.
Secondly, make videos that people want to watch.
making quality content for your niche that solves a viewer problem
Making consistent content that's at least entertaining, and building a backlog. Some videos won't get seen until months after, maybe more.
This is it. Alot of content requires backlogs. No one wants to watch a show that only has 1 episode online. But when they see 45 episodes, they get excited because there's MORE to watch if they like it.
Also more content helps them get a fuller picture of what kind of content you make. Rather than a one off video being good.
Interesting. Didn’t know the viewer goes on this type of journey where they check out your entire profile before subscribing!
Put out good shit.
>qnd does youtube ads work?
Depends on what you want to achieve... it will help a little with visibility but you will find it's really not worth the cost since you can't guarantee that a person that clicks your add will return.
Plus... ad blockers...
You make content that your audience wants to watch.
There's no shortcut to this. Buying ads will make numbers go up once. Promotion will get a handful of views. The long term success plan that channels have is to build up a following around a particular kind of content that is in demand and they churn out nothing but that specific kind of content.
Before uploading your video, make sure you are using keywords in your title and your description. A little trick that can help you is going to ChatGPT to copy and paste your video script to get relevant keywords within the 500-character limit. Keep in mind you can also use the option of adding chapters to add more keywords and improve the viewing experience.
Once you publish your video, write a comment with a call to action or question to improve your engagement in those crucial first 24 hours. You can also create a GIF related to your new video and share it on the community tab with a brief description and a link to the video. Make sure this goes out shortly after the video is uploaded. And for every long-form video, create multiple short-form clips for platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts. In the captions and within your short-form videos, include a call to action to encourage viewers to watch the full-length video.
If a video is underperforming, use A/B to test the thumbnail or title, but focus on testing one element at a time. You can also A/B test thumbnails for free directly in YouTube Studio, but keep in mind it offers less data.
I will not promote.
This is solid advice—especially the part about dropping a comment with a CTA right after publishing. That engagement spike in the first 24 hours really does move the needle. I’d also add:
Curious: What’s been your best-performing tactic for turning Shorts into full video views?
That is invaluable feedback. A quick question. Does the quality of your video production have an impact on YouTube’s algorithm?
(I will not promote)
As long as you don't do the thing I see regularly where you gave this video, and then somehow every celebrity in existence is a keyword on it. This will automatically make me blacklist everything you do.
hi, automod here, if your post doesn't contain the exact phrase "i will not promote
" your post will automatically be removed.
I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. Please contact the moderators of this subreddit if you have any questions or concerns.
Really cool tip about the comment and GIF right after posting. I also used a small view boost from PopularityBazaar at the beginning, and it actually helped my videos pick up faster.
