I played it on my switch and I loved it . It's definitely a downgrade in the quality of graphics, but I would buy it again

I'm playing this one on my Oled and i love it. On this moment, i'ts my favorite game. Easy talking for me. Mostly gaming on the xbox 360 and my New 3DS XL. It's an upgrade for me.

I wouldn’t do it at 30FPS. I play it on my Xbox Series S, and I wouldn’t go for less. But some people love it!

It’s not a game to sleep on because it is straight up awesome.

I gave up on the switch. Loading times are insane and it stutters a bit as I whip around. Gameplay was solid but the way it ran was too poor for me.

I don’t think you have to be a fan to understand or have fun with the game. It’s a completely different storyline than the books. Idk about how it plays on Switch but would love to know bc I was thinking of gifting it to someone.

It's really expensive for a game where the best qualities are nostalgia and graphics. Just keep that in mind.

You don’t need to watch or read HP to play HL

It runs well on Switch, the quality is just a bit lackluster. If this is something you don't care about, you will have a very good experience.

I have it on Switch, it works perfectly, the only thing is that it obviously runs at 30fps (which doesn't bother me) and it has some additional loading screens, but it is a version that is totally up to par.

Hoping for an upgrade pack but really don't know what they're going to do. I'm not buying it again but would pay for an upgrade.

There will be a $10 upgrade for the original switch 

I submitted a request to WB Support asking this question cause I'm also interested too, but they just said that they'll reveal more news closer to release so that leaves me to believe that there'll be no upgrade

Mittlerweile kam ein Video auf dem X Kanal von Nintendo. Ein Creators Voice zum Spiel 'Hogwarts Legacy' für die Switch 2. In dem Spiel wird erklärt, dass sie sich gegen eine verbesserte Portierung für die Nintendo Switch 2 und für einen Start mit Assets für die nächste Generation entschieden wurde. Ich würde dass so deuten, dass die Switch 2 Version eher ein eigenständiges Spiel wird, anstatt einfach nur ein Upgrade.

This is one of the most fun games I’ve ever played. Challenging but not impossible. Switch will limit you some but I’d say the game itself is worth it on any platform. Or… try to snag a PS5 at a deal and enjoy the full, beautiful experience.

Not worth it on Switch. My wife has it for hers and I tried to play it but the graphics makes everything look uncanny valley sometimes.

In my opinion, Hogwarts Legacy is a digital museum. I'm a big fan of the universe so I enjoyed visiting the castle and Hogsmeade. The other places are… copies of each other.

The gameplay is pretty good, especially in combat. Casting spells is satisfying.

For history it is a great disappointment. Spending the first hours of discovery is… meh. NPCs are simple decoration, except when they give us quests. If you come across them at other times they are just there but no interactions possible. The academic aspect is almost non-existent. You can walk around Hogwarts or outside in the middle of the night without any problem (except for a particular quest). No system of morality, using unforgivable spells has no consequences, etc. Immersion is 0.

This is a moderately good game for a fan. If you're not, I'm not sure you'll like it. This is just my opinion, I know that many (fans or not) love it. I postponed my expectations of a really good game to 2 hoping for immersion. I'm a gamer so I also tend to compare them to GOTYs, which perhaps explains my disappointment. If you don't play a lot of games you might like Hogwarts Legacy.

I will tell you to wait for other opinions. But with a promotion, why not. (I play on Xbox, I heard that the visuals are less appreciable on Switch).

It is nintindo switch 2 upgraded, from what I gather from the trailer the upgrade is seamless transitions presumably no loading screens when going to shops like on other consoles

The original Switch version was nerfed considerably from a performance standpoint, particularly around animations/details within the castle and then the amount of fog in the overworld.

I never finished Hogwarts on the original switch because I couldn’t stand how glitchy it was. I am super excited about it coming to switch 2! Does anyone know if it will be a paid upgrade like BOTW and how much it’ll be?

Innovating in what way? They are the Disney of video games, nothing but sequels and remakes of the same IPS.
