TL;DR: The best gaming mouse for you depends on personal preferences, including grip style, hand size, and specific gaming needs. Popular choices include the Logitech G Pro Wireless, Razer Viper V2 Pro, and HyperX Pulsefire Haste 2. Each offers unique features catering to different types of gamers.
The Logitech G Pro Wireless is frequently mentioned as a top choice among gamers due to its lightweight design (around 80g) and exceptional sensor performance. It boasts a battery life of up to 60 hours and customizable DPI settings, making it suitable for both casual and competitive gaming 3:2. Users appreciate its ergonomic shape, which fits comfortably in various grip styles, especially for FPS games.
Another strong contender is the Razer Viper V2 Pro, known for its ultra-lightweight construction (59g) and high-performance 30K DPI optical sensor. This mouse is praised for its seamless wireless connectivity and long battery life, making it ideal for extended gaming sessions 10:1. Many users prefer its ambidextrous design, which caters to both left and right-handed gamers.
The HyperX Pulsefire Haste 2 has gained popularity for its lightweight design (61g) and responsive 26K DPI sensor. It features a comfortable shape that accommodates various grip styles and is particularly noted for its satisfying click feel, making it great for rapid tapping during intense gameplay 5 (3:20). Its battery life can reach up to 100 hours under optimal conditions, adding to its appeal.
The Glorious Model O remains a favorite for many gamers due to its honeycomb design, which reduces weight without sacrificing durability. It's well-suited for claw grip users and offers a smooth glide thanks to its quality mouse feet. While some users have reported issues with build quality over time, many still consider it one of the best options available 6:5.
For those who prioritize simplicity and reliability, Zowie's EC series is often recommended. These mice are known for their plug-and-play functionality and lack of software requirements, making them easy to use across different systems. They are particularly favored by competitive gamers for their consistent performance and comfort 1:6.
Choosing the right mouse largely depends on your grip style (palm, claw, or fingertip) and hand size. For example, larger hands may benefit from a mouse like the Logitech G502, while smaller hands might find the Razer Viper or Pulsar Xlite more comfortable 6:2.
Weight is another critical factor. Lightweight mice (under 70g) are preferred for fast-paced gaming, while heavier models may offer better stability for certain playstyles. Durability is also essential; many users report issues with Razer products failing after a year, leading them to explore alternatives 1:7.
Look for mice with high-quality sensors that provide accurate tracking and responsiveness. Most modern gaming mice now feature advanced optical sensors that perform exceptionally well, even at high DPI settings 3:5.
Many gaming mice come with customizable buttons and RGB lighting, allowing you to tailor the mouse to your gaming preferences. Mice like the Logitech G502 and Razer Basilisk offer extensive customization options, making them versatile for various game genres 8:1.
Ultimately, the best gaming mouse is subjective and varies based on individual preferences and gaming styles. The Logitech G Pro Wireless, Razer Viper V2 Pro, and HyperX Pulsefire Haste 2 are excellent starting points, but it's crucial to consider your specific needs and try out different models if possible. Happy gaming!
Wondering what everyone considers the best gaming mice at the moment. Razer products never seem to last more than a year for me so I’m not overly interested in their products anymore but feel free to talk about those ones too. Thanks in advance!
My top 5 of 2024 at least as I have 40+ and review mice:
19x10 hands, tilted relaxed claw grip.
Scyrox V6 would have made it if I had bought it last year.
Where would scryox v6 fit on this list ?
Really torn between copping out and putting the scyrox mice together, but the V6 quality is just higher overall than my V8. I’d say it jumps up to 3rd and makes the Beast X Max an honorable mention just due to my shape preferences. It’s top 3 no doubt.
Awesome I’ll take a look, thank you! I’m very reluctant to give any razer mice a try after my last 2 barely lasted a year each
Entirely fair take there haha
I've recently switched to a new gaming mouse and it's been quite durable and responsive, way better than Razer.
Anything EGG, Zowie, Vaxee makes imo
What is EGG if you don’t mind me asking
Endgame Gear
Agreed on Zowie
Huge love for my End Game Gear op1we
I'm looking to get a new mouse. My mouse broke and my favorite ones are the g403 and the deathadder but I want to change it up and try a new mouse
I have the razer basilisk and its the most comfortable mouse i have used, it can also go up to 16000 dpi if thats your thing
There is no best, every hand is different and then there's personal preference, your grip, and what games you play and your playstyle.
The perfect mouse doesn’t exist. Watch Zy’s guide on how to choose a mouse on his YouTube channel: Rocket Jump Ninja
I use the g502 I really like it, if you're into MMO'S then try out the razer naga or the corsair scimitar
G403 takes my vote.
But you really want what you find comfortable, not what someone else does.
If you like the G403, go for it.
2nd this. Went from Razer DeathAdder to G403 and I love it.
Right now the top 2 competitors are the Logitech G Pro Wireless and the Razer Viper Ultimate.
The Logitech G Pro Wireless continues to hold its ground as a frontrunner in the gaming mouse arena. It's the epitome of precision meets agility - super light, incredibly responsive, and with a battery life that seems to defy the laws of gaming physics.
Enter the challenger, the Razer Viper Ultimate. It's shaking up the scene with its feather-light construction and a sensor that's sharp as a tack. What really sets it apart is its ambidextrous design, a real game-changer for the left-handed gamers out there. It's neck and neck with the G Pro, offering a tough choice for gamers seeking the top tier of gaming gear.
I’m going to be real with you. I have a Razer Deathadder V2 Pro and it is my favorite mouse ever. Love the sleek design. It’s not too big and not too overkill, the color variants on the snake design are really cool, and the extra buttons are nice. BUT all this Razer stuff is made in Thailand and the customer support is just horrible. You can’t get replacement parts for anything. The dongle covers are so easily breakable on the bottom and they don’t sell replacements. So if you break it, you are SOL. I’d suggest any brand with better customer support, but seeing as though my experience is only through Razer they are the only ones I can speak on.
I feel like its the gpx superlight vs the viper v2 pro
Shopping for the right gaming mouse can sometimes be a challenging task with so many options out there. I've found the KLIM Blaze Pro to be an exceptional choice personally. It offers a blend of premium quality, precision, and smoothness that really enhances the overall gaming experience. Its ergonomic design is also noteworthy as it contributes to comfortable longer gaming sessions without strain. It's definitely worth considering if you're looking for something top-tier in this arena! Happy shopping and game on!
We are past bad mice era. Most mice nowdays are good in terms of providing seamless and lagless wireless operation. At the moment we have amazing variety of shapes and all with latest and greatest sensor tech. Only thing that diferentiate best from the rest is durability. Since if its not durable ... its just expensive.
I personally own several mice and all work perfectly and are usable. No complaints on their performance what so ever.
second that. 100 usd+ gpx and 55 usd F1 Moba or even Darmoshark, 90 usd Atlantis and so on...
the Logitech G502 - the ultimate gaming mouse!
This bad boy is a game-changer with its precision, customizable buttons, and a scroll wheel that feels like pure magic. Whether you're into FPS, MOBA, or anything in between, the G502's adjustable DPI settings give you the edge you need. The build quality is top-notch, and the design is sleek and ergonomic.
But the real star? The customizable weights! Tailor the mouse to your liking and enjoy that perfect balance. Trust me, once you go G502, you won't want anything else.
Pro-tip: Keep an eye out for sales – this gem is often on promotion, making it an even sweeter deal.
I’ve been using the MX Master with a felt mouse pad for a long time. When I finished my first PC build, I picked up a Razer Basilisk V3 Pro 35K, planning to use it for both productivity and gaming. After a ton of reading, watching reviews, and seeing recommendations, I finally gave in and grabbed the Hitscan Hyperlight along with an Artisan FX Zero. Life-changing!
I also just got a Hitscan Hyperlight too and it replaced my main (x2 crazy light). Absolute goated shape
Doesn't that mouse use a much older chipset than the X2 Crazy light?
Yes, but can’t really notice it. Shape is way bettter for my hybrid fingertip.
No difference
This is a very safe recommendation tbh. Zero works for any game really.
Definitely. If you play even a small variety of games then the Zero or 83 is just the perfect choice. They’ll feel good in every game out there.
One of my favorite combos of the last year. FrrragWatch here.
Goated

True Endgame for me: Naga Pro
I also pick this guy's mouse
that is... magnificent.
there are dozens of possible answers depending on grip/hand size/game choices or uses
Every mouse can be the best if they put their heart into it, or so the ratatouille taught me.
HelloKitty DeathAdder
I can't find a best mouse. My hands are small and I play lefty. I might give the new Pwnage Ambi Wireless a shot tbh
Need new mouse. Thank you. Palm grip please. My hand is probably medium size. Thank you. I was thinking of deathadder v2 x hyperspeed or hyperx pulsefire haste but idk. Anyway thanks in advance
There are so, so many options out there these days. The word "best" is subjective and depends on your personal play style, weight preferences, etc.
The two you listed are good, solid options. You could also look into the Deathadder V2 as it's quite cheap right now on eBay, or a Glorious Model D Wireless, Pulsar Xlite Wireless, etc.
>The word "best" is subjective
op seems to be new to this topic but i wouldn't say best is subjective, yes we all have preferences but there are very clear trends giving enough hints to know how the "best" mouse should look like in 2022
I say that because what’s best for one may not be the best for someone else, regardless of the specs, as there are more nuances than just tech specs. One could argue the specs of something like the Deathadder V3 Pro or Viper V2 Pro may be the best on paper, but they may not be the best for the OP as shape may be more important, weight may or may not be important, price is a factor, and certain features may also be better for one person than another. Shape is king and IMO should be more important than splitting hairs on what is currently the best technically as long as it performs well.
>op seems to be new to this topic but i wouldn't say best is subjective, yes we all have preferences but there are very clear trends giving enough hints to know how the "best" mouse should look like in 2022
correct
Xlite V2 is really nice Using it for awhile
Ninjutso Katana, try it.
basically summarizing what everybody else said here, there is no "best" gaming mouse its all based on your opinion. Your hand size, shape preference, grip style, etc.
I don’t care about the money or it’s overpriced or just how expensive it is I just want to know what the best mouse is (for gaming and casual) And if you have a personal favorite please feel free to share it, and yes I understand that it’s usually a preference thing. Edit: I ended up getting the g pro x superlight 2 (mainly due to being biased) but thank you all for the suggestions and if I ever need a new mouse I will go back to this post
SHAPE IS KING
Don't go here, go to r/mousereview
People in the mouse review subreddit are actively buying and testing all the new releases, measure their hand size and know how to articulate their actual preferences for why certain mice work for them so they can give people reading their reviews a better understanding if that mouse will also work for them (and still, shape is subjective)
You can also compare the basic profile of shapes over at eloshapes.com
Note: this advice mostly applies to FPS focused mice, but many of them still try out more work focused productivity/ergo style mice for work.
Personal preference, for gaming my favorite is the G502. Used it for years before replacing to a newer version of it.
For work its the G305 because its cheap and wireless and if it breaks a few years later, i can get another one.
One of the best most comfortable mice I've used. I love mine, especially being able to change the weight. Super handy when working on design to switch the resolution on the fly.
I have a G502 HERO and I think there are better mouses for fps gaming like g pro
Viper v3 or superlight 2 have been the best I've used, I'm not much of a razor fan but I do prefer the viper v3 here, i just prefer the way it glides on the pad, makes it feel super responsive, for gaming obviously.
We have 2 viper V3s we carry to and use at work. They're light, glide smoothly without being too smooth, don't look like gamer rainbow puke, not wierdly sized or shaped, and batteries last a while.
Same, love my v2 pro. (Also not a razer fan).
Superlight 2 gang
Only the best if you exclusively play competitive fps though.
I’ve read reviews and posts saying how it’s the best…
…but I have several major problems with this mouse.
First, the polling rate is low, which makes the mouse feel unresponsive if you’re using a high refresh rate monitor (just talking about general movement).
Second, if on Bluetooth… also feels unresponsive, but with a subtle amount of latency.
Finally, I’ve owned two of these. Both broke within a month after the 1 year warranty expired, and Logitech wouldn’t make any exception.
I love this mouse's feature set but man have I also had some issues. The low polling rate is already a bit of a drag (I should really get a separate gaming mouse), but I have what I assume are connectivity issues where sometimes the effective polling rate drops to like 10 Hz. I've also had a 2S and a 3S both break on me.
Honestly this, if you're not a big mouse macro user, this is a great mouse.
Has super long battery, wireless and just overall a very comfortable mouse for hours of productivity or gaming imo.
I've had mine for years and will probably buy a new one soon.
I think the best part about this mouse is how quiet the clicks are. I use it for work and it’s just fantastic.
On the other hand, my Lamzu Thorn has insanely loud clicks, probably because it’s really hollow.
Exceptional deal on the Basilisk V3 currently via elitehubs.com
I myself have ordered one and you'll struggle to find a better mouse at this price point. The free scolling wheel is absolutely perfect. Once you get used to it, there's no going back. It wheel also has left and right tilt functionality which given you 2 additional gestures which you can assign as per your choice.
26k DPI is overkill for sure but hey, the higher the number, the better, right ? XD
The mouse is basically a Logitech G502 Hero but better in every aspect. Ideally, this mouse is suited for medium to large hands.
The RGB lighting is fully customisable and pretty slick. Overall, a banger deal for a pretty good mouse.
Elitehubs is a reliable website having tons of positive reviews on this very subreddit. Shipping and delivery times may be a bit long but they do ship the correct product.
If you're looking for a mouse around 3k then this should be seriously kept into consideration.
I bought the orochi v2 for 3.3k 🙂, it's fine as I wanted a wireless one anyway
Orochi too is a pretty good mouse if you're aiming for a wireless one. When it comes to recent times, Razer has improved quite a lot when it comes to the quality of products.
Yeah the quality of the mouse seems really good. I love how well it fits my hands, happy with my decision so far 😌
how long does a AAA battery last for you and under what settings and daily usage ?
I use AA lithium battery that was given in the box. It has been a week of using the mouse with the USB dongle and the battery has dropped to 94% today, so pretty good battery life as of now. I haven't played any game with the mouse so can't comment on the battery life with gaming, my use is mostly for studying.
It's my current mouse. It's a bit on the heavier side but still a great mouse none the less. If you want something lighter then check out VXE R1.
Yes I too bought it for 2.7k and it's a big W considering it was 7k a year back
And also one thing I noticed with infinite scrolling wheel is whenever I scroll upwards/downwards it mis scrolls, I mean it sets itself and thus if I scroll fully downward then a bit will scroll upward aswell ;]
Woah 7k wtf i bought it 3 years ago for 5750.
Yeah I saw that on amazon tracker maybe before 3 yrs it was 7k I don't remember Btw how is it going now? Have you faced any issues?
absolute steal deal. I have one thats has been working flawlessley for 2 years now.
Hands down the best mouse I've ever used (using it right now). Easily the best long-term option at this price point.
Ok, I want to play a game with you.
Imagine having an unlimited budget and being able to buy any mouse. You can only buy one mouse though. Which mouse would you buy? And why?
I start.
I'd be torn between the asus harpe ace (for shape and comfort) and the razer v2 pro. However, I choose the razer because the armory crate software is garbage and because the quality of the razer materials (as well as the sensor) is superior.
It's your turn.
Deathadder v3 because its the most comfortable shape for my hand size
Xlite V3 mini. If it ever comes out.. and if I get lucky with QC.. Shape/Weight and overall balance fits me perfectly.
I wish more mainstream brands like Razer had mini versions of DaV3pro or GPX though.
Xlite mice really was a superperfect mouse, if it just had better swtiches
They have huano pinks in latest retro editions which feel much better imo, but my copy has terrible body creek and button travel so I switched back to regular xlite v2 mini..
Vaxee XE wireless, as long as I can make sure my copy's buttons are stiff enough I don't accidentally click all the time (or I'm allowed to replace the switches myself under your rules)
How hard are y'all clicking / holding it to get multiple complaints about the click being too light?
I actually love the clicks, other mice just feel too stiff for me now. The shape felt weird to grip at first but I've never misclicked the switches since I got it.
I have an XE wired where the buttons are great.
I happened to get switches on my XE wireless that were noticeably less stiff and led to problems with accidental clicking.
I like not having to "hover" my fingers (i.e., constantly apply muscle tension to not let the weight of my finger relax down onto the button).
Maybe I have fat fingers; maybe you're just used to constantly tensing your hand; maybe your XE didn't have soft switches and it feels like my wired one.
I think latest firmware fixed the "accidental click" issue. I mean if I slap my XE on table it would click itself. Now it's does not, even with my fingers placing on it with 2ms debounce.
Oh, my copy didn't have slam clicking problems. I would just click on accident when trying to move the mouse or if I got distracted/nervous and put a bit too much weight on the switches without realizing.
Switches were just not stiff enough for me on my wireless XE. My wired one has stiffer switches and it's fine. I replaced the switches in my wireless one and it's fine now too.
the Logitech G502 - the ultimate gaming mouse!
Pro-tip: Keep an eye out for sales – this gem is often on promotion, making it an even sweeter deal.
looking to upgrade my mouse (preferably white in color) was just curious what the best options are right now as ive never kept up with the new mouses. still using a glorious model o. ive heard the viper v2 pro is really good and that caught my eye, any recommendations?
With so many options its hard to know which mouse to commit to buying. After using a lot of the Elite level products such as (Razer, Logitech, Glorious) I found myself wanting to try a cheaper option to see how it compared. The KLIM Blaze Pro is a mouse you might not have heard about much, but honestly the quality this product has is incredible. It has one of the best sensors on the market, it's fully wireless and comes with a charging dock and the battery is super long-lasting. If you are on a budget and want something that is still going to improve your performance in game, this is the one for you.
The best gaming mouse I've come across is the one I'm currently using – the Razer Viper V2 Pro. It's insanely lightweight at 59g, has a killer 30K DPI optical sensor, and offers seamless wireless connectivity. The battery life is epic at 90 hours, and I can even tweak the DPI settings on the fly.
I would recommend trying the KLIM Blaze Wireless Gaming Mouse. I have tried a lot of the big brands such as the razer viper v2, the g pro wireless and the glorious model o, but everytime I just thought there was no value for money there. The KLIM Blaze has a high level sensor that provides near immediate response times, it's battery life is extremely long and if you are looking for a mouse with great RGB this is the one for you!

You're right, the Glorious Model O is a great mouse, but there are definitely some exciting new options available, especially if you're looking for a white one! The Razer Viper Ultimate is lightweight, wireless, and comes with a sleek charging dock, making it a great upgrade for gaming.
“For the game” straight to the point, gotta love these mice man
10 dollar five below mouse at it's finest fr fr
With number 1 you become the best rocket league player
yes
Which one is your pick?
I lowkey had the last mouse when I was younger, banger
i had it too but it didnt have 1k hertz so it was trash even at that time
Fish tank one slaps
As the title says I’m looking to get a new mouse primarily for gaming, I’m looking for recommendations. Thank you!
Edit: my hand size is pretty small, I don’t really have a preference for ergonomics.
Hand size?
Grip style?
Ambi or ergo?
Wired or wireless?
Vaxee Outset AX wireless
Fantech Aria XD7
Logitech G703
Vaxee XE wireless
There are lots of mice out there. Hand Size/Grip Style? Previous mice you have liked? The more info the better the recommendations :)
Maya
WLmouse beast X
Just got into gaming. What is the best gaming mouse? I play games like fortnite and valorant. I just got into fps games 5 months ago.
What's your hand size and grip style?
Do you prefer ambi or ergo?
Wired or wireless?
I really like the Gpx but it is very overrated in my opinion. Its super expensive and the shape is lowkey mid. The sensor sometimes skips. I really like the Lamzu atlantis cause it has a 4k sensor and the shape is good for a lot of hand sizes.
Safest all around good mouse is the gpx superlight. You also can't go wrong with the x2v2 mini or lamzu Maya. If you want an ergonomic the ec2-cw or deathadder v3. Overall there is no best mouse, I'd recommend looking at what you have now and then finding something similar but higher end
My friend has the gpx superlight and says it's great! Are there any alternatives that are cheaper? Under $100?
You can sometimes find it on sale for less but if you want cheaper alternatives you can look at the Chinese market. Attack shark x3 is a great mouse, kinda like a mini gpx. There's also the phylina s450 or the vxe r1. The first two can be found on Amazon and are both pretty cheap but solid
xm1r is a really really good mouse for pretty cheap
You can sometimes find the gpx for that price if you wait a bit
do you want the mouse to be highly programmable and customizable? RGB? wireless?
Anyways, here is a list for you to check. https://realpeoplewin.com/best-budget-gaming-mouse/
hello guys my birthday is coming and im looking for a good mouse. my budget is 300 aed. i play fps games so i want lightweight. any recommendations?
Bro buy from aliexpress very good mouse and good price.
Search attack shark R6. It has the latest sensor and its 38 gram weight. Been using it since 3 months now very good mouse
I have the aztec form kysona, while its a good mouse i wouldnt recommend it. It has the occasional disconnection issue and the latency is higher when compared to mice in his budget.
but aliexpress takes so long to ship and i cant find another reseller
who said? It ships in 7-10 days.
Logitech 502
Coming from a forever razer user. Buy atk x1 pro from AliExpress, use any seller with “choice”. Delivery will be within 10 days. Should cost around 230-240
DMed!
Razer basilisk v3. It’s a better Logitech g502
"lightweight"
Was messing around with Reddit data on gaming mouse. Thought I’d share the results.
Its part of one of my projects to tinker with Reddit data and LLMs. Wanted to create something useful for the community while levelling up my coding chops.
The idea is to highlight which gaming mouse got the most love. To be clear, most love =/= best. But hopefully its a useful data point nonetheless, especially for those overwhelmed by info.
I actually posted a version of this ~6 months ago. A lot of the issues that the previous one had should be fixed (limited to models on Amazon, erroneous model attribution, duplications). Lemme know what you think!
Obviously this is a very general list. It does gets more interesting when you slice and dice the data. The 2nd and 3rd images are filtered for comments about FPS and MMO respectively.
If you want to explore the data and filter more stuff (price, subreddits, comments about topics e.g. FPS, MMO, small hands, big hands, durability), you can do so at RedditRecs (dot) com (or google “RedditRecs”).
Methodology in the comments.
Razer DeathAdder V2 owner here.
Couldn't ask better than that - I'm in love with it :)
Loved my DeathAdder, but gave it to my brother when I upgraded to the Basilisk V3, and oh my god is it comfortable with just enough features to make the upgrade worth it to me.
I made the same jump. I love the Basilisk V3. It’s so comfortable and the best mouse experience I’ve had. I don’t think I could play with a non-ergonomic mouse again.
I have a Basilisk v3 also and I swap between them depending on mood. Love both of these, Razer stepped it up big time with the v3 series, the Deathadder is the best they’ve ever done and the Basilisk is just so damn cool.
Agree. Best gaming mouse.
Started with Logitech, then Corsair/Razor(absolute garbage) then back to G502X. Perfect mouse for the price.
I actually love my Corsair mouse lol But I also loved my old Logitech fwiw
I've been using a Logitech MX pro for gaming for 10 years. For my gargantuan hands nothing slides as smooth as it does, and it has perfect default dpi settings for my play style. I had the last one for almost 6 years and only replaced it because lightning struck near my house and killed the optical aperture while I was in the middle of using it.
Bruh redragon has great peripherals. They are cheap but I have had a redragon MMO mouse for years and years and it never did me wrong. At this point I have probably ten different mice, multiple keyboards, they have a keyboard that is only the left half of a keyboard that is called a gaming pad or something, and at this point I couldn't live without it. I bought razers take at this and it fucking sucked and sits in a drawer. The razer Tartarus or something.
Switched to G502 on both of my setups (one wired one wireless) little over a year ago and I think this thing is just perfect. Still have a wired Razer naga for playing WoW but the G502 is incredible
You're probably right. A lot of branded ones made it to this list probably because... their branding worked.
But yeah feel free to filter the data for prices below $50 to see which hidden gems come up https://redditrecs.com/gaming-mouse/
Lovely mouse for productivity. Terrible for gaming
Everyone comes here for gaming recommendations, not productivity.
I was wondering what you guys would think to be the best gaming mouse currently in the market, taking into account price, sensors, ergonomics etc
Viper v3 pro is currently the best on the market imo but its a little bit overpriced. I got it for 172$ off of amazon which is insane now im thinking about it how much more expensive mice have gotten. It also comes with the 8k dongle included so at least thats something.
I'm on this thread looking for what mice are good currently, due to the scroll wheel on my Deathadder v3 Pro being farked.
Viper V3 Pro is the best symmetrical mouse in terms of performance, and the Deathadder v3 is the best ergonomic in terms of performance righr now (will probably be refreshed soonish)
Best symmetrical wireless mouse *
OP1 8K is best symmetrical mouse in terms of performance.
Thanks! I was looking for a good wired mouse, and I just dug up this thread. Appreciate you!
Same bruh im pissed, i love deathadders but this is killer. Might need a new brand EDIT: found this thread and it fixed my mouse lmao - https://www.reddit.com/r/razer/comments/1e8o4u2/deathadder_v3_pro_mouse_wheel_issue_fix_free/
I love my beast x, but you're probably better off buying a Viper v3 pro.
Ha I'm on this thread because the mouse wheel on my Deathadder v3 pro from 2 years ago is getting fucked up.
Adding to the choir. Razer Naga Pro scroll wheel is fucked. It jitters all over the place and sometimes literally scrolls up when scrolling down.
Will not buy Razer again.
Deathadder v3 hyper speed
Yeah for sure, if youre looking into ergos look into the pulsar xlite v3, it should be on sale right now for about 60$ which is an absolute steal. Flagship specs and a great mouse
Depends on what you want.
I want a relaxed claw mouse that is a little wide with at least a decent hump in the back for palm support since I have above average (in this sub) hands. It should have optical switches or hotswap so that it lasts. The clicks should be sharp, and have a good implementation so it feels connected.
I need a good coating that's not slippery like cheaper Chinese mice and doesn't discolor like the GPX. I like a tactile scroll wheel and side buttons. I want a solid battery life so I don't have to recharge it often. I also don't want to overspend since good mice are cheap nowadays.
I previously liked larger back hump mice like the MM711 and GPW, so I picked up a used X2V2 for cheap, and now it's my main.
Sure I had to tweak it since the clicks were a bit sticky, but I also paid half of it's discounted retail price, and it's easy to repair, so I'm happy. Might look for an X2H for more support.
There isn't one.
ULX is good WL beast X is good
There are now a million cheap Chinese mice to choose from that have maxed out specs. VGN F1 ATK F1 VXE R1
Attack shark
I personally think the viper mini shape is the best so I've been using the 3d printed 40g VMSE which is amazing.
Endgame Gear OP18K
Always the one you didn’t buy

Gosh, I hate this kind of questions whenever they pop every now and then. There is no single 'best gaming mouse to rule them all' on the market, since this is all subjective, you have to go with the shapes based on your hand size. If possible, use a 3D printer to print different shapes for yourself, experience with different shapes till you get to a conclusion, for example which one you feel most comfortable with, try lots of shapes until you find your endgame or endgame-ish.
I'm building a new PC with the Make-A-Wish foundation, and the folks at /r/buildmeapc suggested I come here for better answers on what mouse I should get. I've been recommended the G502 Hero, Logitech G Pro, and ZOWIE EC2-B so far. I wanna know what mouse you guys think I should get, as money isn't really a concern here.
I thought the G502 was the best gaming mouse beforehand because of all the functionality, but this sub seems to dislike it because of the weight, so the G Pro which is only 80g and has 8 buttons seems better in comparison I'm guessing.
I plan on playing FPS games like TF2 and some RTS games like AOE2 and Total War, if the game genres are of relevance.
If you have medium size hands, a safe buy is the g pro wireless. It’s ambidextrous, light, and has top tier sensor.
That being said I own a g pro wireless but I prefer to use larger mice for my palm gripping and larger hands measuring 18.5cm x 10.5cm.
Right now I love my Razer Mamba Wireless even though it’s heavier because the shape and width are better for my hands.
I just received a Air58 which is another large mouse for big hands that’s significantly lighter. I’ll need to see if it’s better than the Mamba. I also have a Zowie EC1-B on the way for comparison.
If your going to play mostly FPS I know most would prefer the Zowie mice because they have great shapes, great sensors and the buttons need heavier actuation force to press that prevent misclicks and double clicks. It would be a bad choice for most other genres though that require spamming the buttons or using the scroll wheel a lot.
If you’re looking for one mouse that will do everything well and not tailored for specific genres, I suggest the g pro wireless.
I would go with the G Pro Wireless personally. Its ambidextrous, long lasting battery, top of the line sensor, pretty light compared to most mice, and can be charged wirelessly with Logitechs PowerPlay mouse pad.
Glorious Model O is poised to take the top spot but doesn’t officially release to the public until May 18 2019.
Maybe for the money, but its just a heavier, pre modded, cheaper finalmouse.
>but its just a heavier, pre modded, cheaper finalmouse
I feel like this assumes the two mice are the same shape, which they aren't. Just a heavier Finalmouse (Air58) would be an Ultralight Pro, not a mouse with a different shape entirely like the Model O.
Bruh SAME WEIGHT AS ORIGINAL ULTRALIGHT
I’ll take the slight increase in weight for an increase in features, quality and cheaper price. Just sayin.
Lol wat. The overhype is hilarious with this one.
This subreddit tends to go for the following trinity kf mice. GPW, G305, S2
So such thing as "best" mouse. Different people have different hand sizes and grip styles. Best mouse is the one you find most comfortable. With that said if you can give us more information on your grip style and hand size we can provide recommendations.
Hitscan hyperlight.
This is genuinely perfect for me.
The shape, build ,buttons ,sensor ,clicks , everything on this mouse to me feels very very high standard and I love everything about it.
I’m not sure any other mouse i could upgrade to in my opinion this just feels amazing to me personally which ive been looking for now for so long.
If you haven’t tried this mouse out give it ago;
Previous mouse’s used; g305 glorious model o xtrfy m42 wired and wireless gpx superlight 2 attack shark x3 and pro
This is just feels levels above all, TO ME. Thank you Hitscan 🖤
This has been my main mouse since it came out. I've also got an X2v2 mini, X2 and I bought a gpx superlight 2 the other day. I bought the superlight because I live in the middle of nowhere and it's easy to get. If I order something like lamzu then the cost of shipping is massive and it takes ages to ship as well.
After having used this for a few months then the gpx2 feels extremely heavy and clunky. You can really feel that ~20g difference. The switches on the hitscan are perfect. The side buttons on the gpx2 are very mushy and uninteresting. I've noticed that the skates on the hitscan are also way better than the gpx2. The coating is also better. It's honestly a way better product in every regard but of course it doesn't have the same shape.
I bought the gpx2 because sometimes, after a few hour session on the hitscan, my hand gets a bit tired because it's probably on the larger side for this kind of mouse and the way that I grip it (around 19,5x10cm if I recall correctly).
Hitscan Hyperlight is an awesome mouse: weight, feel, shape, clicks, sound. The only thing I don’t love in this mouse is a scroll wheel - it feels nice and crisp, but rattles a bit when scrolling up quickly (same as Sora V2).
It was going to be my endgame, but Viper Mini SE arrived, which is an absolutely perfect mouse for me in every regard. (Yes, its price is insane.)
Hyperlight is still my endgame for work.❤️
Happy you found your endgame! I couldn’t justify spending £300 on a mouse but it’s one i’ve always wanted to try.
I also couldn’t justify it. It was an impulse purchase on a 3rd or 4th sale announcement from Razer. Just closed my eyes and pressed Buy. And faced the consequences later.😅
Very fun mouse. Feels in the same spirit as the Maya X tbh. The power button slider thing is really locked in there, though. BUILD QUALITY GONE TOO FAR
do you feel a scratchy feeling with the stock skates on vertical movements?
nope not at all , have you?
He Who Claims Endgame,
Will Be Back Within A Week.
I really hope not 😅
My current mouse is about to break, so i need a new one, please recommend me a good replacement (i mainly play FPS games)
Razer Viper Mini
5 buttons + sensitivity button, it's not cordless, but it's lasted me about 7~ years without skipping a beat.
for the record, it still is working
i have the logitech g pro superlight
Seconded. Great mouse.
Isn't it quite expensive?
Its been on sale a lot lately
G502 is the best
Logitech G502 Hero, one of big popular ones. I’ve been using mine for years and have another on standby. Very solid. Good finger buttons and adjustable weights you can add/remove.
There's also new lighter version, G502 X.
G502 X
$100 and 89g? Fuck that.
G502
This is no doubt the best mouse experience that I have ever had. Even for my high end current gen PC, I never thought of getting a proper gaming mouse becasue for the games that I play, controllers give more enjoyable experience to me.
Coming from a decade of using MX Master and Magic Mouse for regular usage and productivity works, this Mag G Max feels like a genuine upgrade. My first impression was the unbelievable weight**—**it's so light. I humbly thank the folks over at IndianGaming discord sub for recommending it to me when my Logitech mouse started double clicking and I was looking for VXE R1 (which was out of stock).
Becasue the mouse is so light, the movement of cursor feels damn good, and even regular pc usage feels like a breeze. There is no going back for me. I just thought I'd share a few words of appreciation in case someone finds it useful. (I bought it from NeoMacro for 4600 INR which is roughly $54 USD).
I'm just starting out, getting to understand the appeal of gaming focused mice and I'm currently using the mouse at 1600DPI at 1000Hz Polling Rate with the 8K Receiver. If you have any suggestions, tips or tricks please send them my way.
Seems nice. I, too, just ordered Logitech G304.
* UPDATE June 5, 2025: This apparently has a wobble issue. After 3 different desks, one at home, one at work and one at the gf’s place, I found out why it was feeling a bit weird sometimes while clicking. It’s because, in the bottom surface, in the middle (right around the optical sensor hole) it is slightly raised up compared to the front and the back. So it wobbles. Disappointing that a mouse that's not that inexpensive such as this one has a trivial issue to begin with.
* UPDATE June 11, 2025: Received the Tiger Ice V2 Skates - Universal Dots (40 dots) today. Removed the ring skate that's around the sensor because this was the most bulged area. The wobble went away. In terms of thickness the dots and the ring skate are pretty much the same. Anyways, I didn't bother replacing the top and bottom stock pad yet since there is no wobble anymore.

You don't really need any tips and tricks for using a mouse.
1600DPI at 1000Hz is fine and you can increase/decrease them as you see fit. Just don't go around copy/pasting those "pRo" settings or listening to arguments about why X DPI is better than Y, because it's all BS and it's always been about personal preference.
I have $300 budget medium hands and am right handed mostly playing stuff like gta rdr2 and minecraft don’t care about drag click or butterfly what is the best mouse for someone like me
i have a logitech g pro x superlight. easily the best mouse ive ever used.
$300 is super expensive and frankly unnecessary to spend on a mouse. The Razer deathadder V2 pro or the logitech G502 lightspeed both come in around $120 and are top of the line gaming mouses.
I'm using the Logitech G Pro Wireless and I can highly recommend that, but there is also a slightly newer version, the G Pro X Superlight
Best is subjective. People love Logitech but I e bought two different models and the left clicks stopped working after a month. And the g502 is tiny in my hands. My asus gladiator gets me by.
I’m trying to choose a new mouse mainly for gaming and daily use. My options are:
Razer DeathAdder V3
Razer Basilisk V3
Razer Cobra
Which one would be the best overall?
it depends on grip type, hand size, and weight preferences.
I use the deathadder V3 Pro, because I prefer a larger mouse, and lightweight as well. The Deathadder is good for large hands, and able to use both claw and palm grip plus it's lightweight. But if you prefer more comfort and grip, even though the weight a bit heavier go for the Basilisk. Can't go wrong with the Basilisk, it is great for daily, and gaming use as well.. The Cobra is fine... if you have like smaller hands, or mostly use claw-grip.
Good info!
I’m a certified razer hater and love the basilisk. Good mouse.
Can't go wrong with the Basilisk
Basilisk V3. I put my Naga Pro (Which is a great mouse too) on the shelf after just a day of getting and using my Basilisk.
Naga trinity to a Basilisk Ultimate!
Nooooo time to take it outside… actually.. remember that video from a while back with the guy shaking a glow stick and then microwaving it? Do that. You might become a new legend king.
Hey guys,
I’m looking for the most premium mouse well built and looks elegant. Money is no object. I was interested in the lunar artifacts mouse, made of leather and bronze and looks and feels awesome. Thing is based off the reviews, it sucks as a mouse and for the price while I don’t mind paying upwards of 250$ for the mouse I’d prefer it at least perform somewhat competitively.
I’m looking for mice made of metal, wood, leather something high end for my home office. Lunar artifacts so far is the only mouse I can find that looks and feels as premium as I’m searching for just lacks the actual function needed.
I do video production, school work and even some casual FPS gaming, so the mouse should atleast be somewhat useable. Not expecting the greatest gaming performance with the materials I’m looking for but something better than what lunar artifacts is offering.
Any help would be great, thanks!
If you're looking for a gaming mouse made of premium materials, you're really looking at Magnesium or Carbon Fiber, and there are a * ton* of options for high performance mice made of those materials. As far as anything more exotic than that, the only one I can think of was that aluminum limited edition G502, but you'd have to get one of those second hand now, and it's wired (IIRC) if you care about that.
Look through Pwnage's lineup of mice
Zowie mice
Lamzu Tachi
Some brands to look at for the most premium mice are Wlmouse, Pwnage, and finalmouse. They all use magnesium for most of their mice and have some pretty unique designs. One mouse I can say looks pretty nice from a brand that has well built mice is the Wlmouse strider or the beast x max. Both have really awesome designs and feel like high quality. Beast x max comes with a carrying case as well and an extra dongle usb dongle for convenience.
If you want high quality but don’t care about the material much, Logitech GPX 2 or Razer Viper v3 pro. Both great shapes that many people have vouched for. GPX 2 is a mouse you’d have to avoid getting in white though unfortunately due to yellowing issue but all other colorways are fine.
I am looking for a lightweight gaming mouse with a good palm grip. I know a gaming mouse is the most subjective thing out there - but I need help at least narrowing down the brands that are reliable - and specific mice suggestions are welcome too. My preference is a wireless one foremost, but if there's an input lag - I can consider wired as well. The looks/shape of the mice don't matter to me as much as response time does.
What are the best lightweight gaming mice with a great palm grip? Wireless is my first choice, but only if the input lag isn’t an issue. Would love to hear what’s worked best for you guys...
Hitscan Hyperlight.
If I’ve been using the Razer basilisk v3 wired do you think I would be able to get used to this mouse? I use palm grip and have regular-large hands, it looks super cool but idk if I can rock it
+1 for the maya. Hands down my favorite mouse!
Yep, maya x is really nice. I think they released the Inca too recently, which should be the same mouse but slightly different shape.
Is it intentionally able to double click? (I’m a Minecraft player)
The Maya X 🔥
Biased cause we have a collab with Lamzu but it was my favorite / main mouse beforehand too!
Bro tell me about Rog harpe ace mini
What about it haha, also a great mouse that we had worked on (OG size) but the Maya X does everything right for me
Viper v3 pro. I'm not a fan of the Maya's shape
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qm94e9nCEvc
Motion sync ON by default as well and cannot be turned off makes the motion floaty AF.
If you told us the size of your hand it would be easier. But generally for palm something like an Pulsar Xlite would be a good choice because it comes in 3 sizes.
currently using the Maya X, definitely a real winner.
Ok so I am looking to buy a mouse. I have recently built my pc after long awaited years and I am so excited about it. anyways I want a good gaming mouse. I have been playing in gaming cafes on different mice every time. I want a light mouse with good handgrip. I love to play fast paced games like call of duty and rainbow six. I have heard about gpro superlight and v3 pro. but would love to have some recommendations from you guys!
I have heard about gpro superlight and v3 pro.
Thanks, in advance
If you mainly play fps games, logitech g pro superlight 2 or razer viper v3 pro are probably the best pick.
I have the old Naga Trinity from Razer and will upgrade to the new version when i have some more disposable income.
But honestly the old naga is more than sufficient
this is a very thick mouse. it would be heavy compared to others
Do you have big hands or small hands?
G502
There is a whole subreddit dedicated to mice enthusiasts r/mousereview but you will get all kinds of opinions on there.
I went with the Wirecutter’s top pick the Razer Basilisk and have been happy with it for the last 3 years.
i will look into it thanks
Hello everyone,
Im completely new to the mouse-business, so I thought Id ask for help here.
Im currently using a Logitech G Superlight. Before that Ive used the G502. Im looking for a new gaming mouse and the price doesnt really matter too much. It should be as light as possible and afaik Im using a claw grip on my mouse. I actually wanted to buy the viper mini SE, but it got sold out while in my cart, so... yeah, now I still have no clue what to buy.
Id appreciate any recommendations. Thanks up front.
I use now DM7 Switch Duo and I like this mouse mostly because its pure :)
DA v3 pro with 4k dongle.
If you don't like the ergo shape then the viper v2 pro.
I also have the gpx superlight which I mained for 2 years.
The difference is night and day. Once you go 4k you don't go back.
Oh really? I didnt think that it really makes a difference. I thought it was just a marketing gimmik tbh.
Well it depends on your setup too. I think it shines best at >240hz monitor.
360hz would be ideal. But most people don't have these refresh rates and therefore say it's a gimmick.
I play Valorant (Asc3) and I can definitely feel the difference.
Every person in this thread is going to give you a handful of answers. Just browse through the thread man, and enjoy all the different perspectives.. Hand shape.. grip.. weight.. corded.. wireless.. theres answers upon answers and it all comes down to preference..
I browsed this sub for a while, and ended up with an x2 mini bruce lee. Love the thing.
What about the most unique design you know? Stuff like the x2 mini bruce lee edition is just awesome. I also like the cyberpunk viper ultimate.
Cooler Master MM720. Unique shape. I like it a lot.
Dav3 wired 8khz
I made this thread to try and help people who are struggling to find their end game mouse & mouse pad. I have a decent amount of experience with a variety of stuff! :D So if you have any questions or are just looking. Hopefully this can help some people out l'll have a list of some of the stuff I tried below and if I haven't tried it someone here may of. Make sure to give some details on what you're looking for. Or what you like, your hand size or grip or any important information you came across yourself. Anyways good luck 🍀😊
Hand size
Width of Hand 8.8cms Length of Hand 15.2cms Height of hand 3.7cms
Things I’ve tried
@genericrat8276 Ive been using the pulsar X2v2 (not the mini) dragonslayer and really like the size. However, it’s been having problems with the scroller and I can’t seem to fix it. So I’m replacing it. The scyrox v8 and Maya X, but the price of scyrox is more appealing to me. My hands are similar in size to yours, maybe slightly narrower (8.5cm). Given a preference for the X2v2 and my hands size, which mouse do you think would fit me more?
I have the V8 as you know and I personally haven’t tried a X2V2 yet but I’m going to shortly. And what I do know is the X2V2 is a closer shape to the OP1 8k than the sycrox v8 the V8 has a larger back hump and imo it’s a little to big personally I think you should get the normal Maya 8k (doesn’t matter color) or the crazy light the crazy light is smaller than your X2V2 but it’s the same shape and weighs only 35 grams it’s the mini of the X2V2
Did you recommend the maya instead of maya x because the original version is slightly smaller? Also, the crazylight probably doesn't fit my budget, as I am trying to stick with 100 or below
I really liked my super light, but it broke in legit 4 different ways. What's the closest shape to superlight out there?
Xm2 4K is just a superior version of the Superlight imo - if you don't mind a cable the Xm2 8k is also excellent (my current mouse at time of writing)
I used to have an xm1 and didn't like the low profile of the mouse, does the xm2 have the same low profile?
Maya 8k is a good alternative the normal size even tho I prefer the mini with my small hands there’s also some other close you may like more the sycrox V6 has a kinda similar shape it’s way lighter only $70 with the same specs at the super light I will say it probably will feels more holo than the super light but everything else should feel top notch the scroll well clicks and build quality
Yeah I use my side buttons and scroll wheel click + scroll a lot. I need those to be sturdy AF and the superlight had both break on me.
Edit: what's the difference between v6 and V8? Is it just newer?
I have a Wlmouse Sword X on the way and I’m considering pairing it with the u/LockOnGear Harut glass mousepad. How has your experience been with the Harut? Any issues with mice using the newer 3950 sensors?
No issues so far but I will say the jade airs made this pad so much better domestics ptfe skates scratch a little more than the sp-004 but so far I’m enjoying it I can’t say fully since I have a guardian(the beast) on its way but I can say i believe I prefer it over the sp-004 definitely
Looking for a hard mouse pad. Interested in G440, but would want a bigger one.
I have Razer Deathadder V3 Pro and Zowie H-TR rn it's rly close to endgame for me, I just think a little bit smaller version of the v3 pro would be great. I thought about Zowie EC Vaxee E1 Razer Deathadder Hyperspeed Pulsar Feinmann Logitech Dex any suggestions?
Hey everyone, I’m in the middle of upgrading my setup and trying to figure out what the best gaming mouse is right now. I’ve seen a lot of mixed opinions online, especially when it comes to wired vs wireless gaming mice, so I thought I’d ask here.
I mostly play FPS games, but I also dabble in MMOs and strategy games. I care about accuracy, comfort, and low latency, the usual stuff. I’ve got a decent budget (around $150 max), but I’m open to spending a bit more if it’s really worth it.
Curious what you all are using:
Appreciate any thoughts or personal recs. There’s so much out there right now that it’s kind of overwhelming.
Update: Thanks for all the great responses, I went with Logitech G502 X Plus.
Based on everyone’s input, some of the most recommended mice include:
Most people leaned toward wireless these days, but a few mentioned that wired mice still win when it comes to zero interference.
I was in the same boat a few months ago and ended up going with the Razer Viper V3 Pro. It’s been fantastic. Super light, no noticeable latency, and the new sensor is dead accurate. I was skeptical about wireless for years, but honestly, it feels just as fast as wired now.
I also tried the Pulsar X2H Wireless and it’s a solid option too, especially for the price. Great shape if you claw or fingertip.
If you’re on a tighter budget or just prefer wired, I still think the XM1r holds up really well. But wireless is the way to go these days IMO, tech’s caught up.
Thanks for the detailed input! The Viper V3 Pro definitely sounds like a strong contender. Out of curiosity, how has the battery life been on it with regular use? And for the Pulsar X2H, did you notice any differences in click feel or build quality compared to the Viper? Just trying to narrow things down based on long-term comfort and durability.
Another vote for the viper v3 pro! Been awesome so far
Can you map the two buttons on the side with any keyboard input? An how is the software? Good, bad, ok?
G502 X Plus, best all-around Logitech gaming mouse. Super fast Lightspeed wireless, HERO 25K sensor, customizable buttons, RGB, and feels great in hand.
Appreciate the recommendation! The G502 X Plus definitely seems feature-packed. How do you find the weight for fast-paced games like FPS? And do you use the customizable buttons a lot in your setup, or are they more of a nice-to-have?
Also Boardzy and Aimadapt are good youtube channels if you want to see reviews of mice and get recommendations.
G502 wired, i love it, i hate wireless mice.
Thanks for the recommendation! I've heard great things about the G502. I get why some people prefer wired too, no lag, no charging, just plug and play. Have you tried any of the newer wireless ones recently, or just sticking with what works?
I have a G502 hero wired for my desktop and a wireless G502 Lightspeed for laptop use, connected via Logitech USB wireless adapter - the wireless is just as good, battery lasts ages, I personally can't perceive any difference in latency (I'm hardly a hardcore player though, the additional latency is definitely going to be there) also no notable difference in weight my biggest gripe is HAVING to use the newer G software, hate it. (not bad bad as Synape though 😅) the older one was so much more friendly imo.
Both great mice, would never buy any peripheral from anyone other than Logitech now, had my wired since 2018 or 19, wireless since 2022 second hand. My G510s since 2013. Except headphones, but I prefer proper headphones as oppose to headsets.
Edit: if I suddenly needed a new mouse for my desktop, I'd buy wired again without a doubt. Charging would eventually get on my nerves to the point I'd just leave it plugged in.
Most modern wireless mice have 4k or 8k hz polling rates while most wired still use 1k. So wireless mice are actually more responsive.
Attack shark r6 is very good for fps games. Under 50 bucks, around 40grams, and decent coating.
Buying razer or logitech mice is a waste of money because there are always Chinese clones of these shapes that often improve on the design while being less than half the price.
If you want some good recommendations I would go to r/mousereview.
Totally fair points, seems like it really comes down to personal preference and setup. Curious, what kind of sensitivity and grip style do you use yourself? And have you noticed any real-world differences switching between wired and wireless for your playstyle?
Hey everyone, I’m looking to buy a gaming mouse that performs well for fast-paced competitive games like FPS and MOBAs. I’ve done a bit of research and I’m considering the Razer Viper V3 Pro and the Logitech G Pro Superlight, but I’m not sure which one would be the best fit for me.
I’d love to hear your thoughts on these two options, or if you have any other recommendations for a mouse that is better in speed and overall performance.
Thanks in advance for the help!
On paper the Viper V3 pro, but I think the shape is not good for most people and really only for large hands.
Logitech G502 wireless is the goat,
If you prefer a lighter one Logitech also makes some sick ultralights
Currently own both. Based on experience, V3 Pro is better for fps games but the ‘playing safe’ ergonomics of the Superlight makes it a good all-rounder for me (gaming & work tasks)
I used a Logitech G600 for years and it was awesome, the 3rd mouse button that your ring finger rests on is great as a shift modifier
I have the RC30 (Razor Viper Ultimate). I chose wireless to not have cord drag. I like having custom DPI settings as I have mine set to 5k DPI and it can go higher MUCH higher. The battery life is about 3 days of semi-occasional use and I have never noticed any wireless latency. While I like the mouse a lot it is $150 but it can be found on sale as I paid about $80 for it.
I notice the plastic feet still give me very slight resistance which can prevent minor adjustments. This is something I noticed and hated about all the Razor mice I have tired. I may look at correcting this with an upgraded mouse pad. If that does not work I may need to find an alternative mouse.
Best Gaming Mouse
Key Considerations for Choosing the Best Gaming Mouse
DPI (Dots Per Inch): Look for a mouse with adjustable DPI settings. A range of 400 to 16,000 DPI is common, allowing for sensitivity adjustments based on your gaming style.
Polling Rate: A higher polling rate (measured in Hz) means the mouse reports its position to the computer more frequently. Aim for at least 1000 Hz for smooth performance.
Ergonomics: Choose a mouse that feels comfortable in your hand, especially for long gaming sessions. Consider grip style (palm, claw, fingertip) and weight.
Wired vs. Wireless: Wired mice typically offer lower latency and no battery concerns, while wireless mice provide more freedom of movement. Modern wireless options have improved significantly in terms of performance.
Customization: Look for programmable buttons and customizable RGB lighting to enhance your gaming experience and match your setup.
Sensor Type: Optical sensors are generally preferred for precision, while laser sensors can work on more surfaces but may not be as accurate for fast movements.
Recommendations:
Logitech G Pro X Superlight: This wireless mouse is lightweight (63g), has a high-performance HERO 25K sensor, and offers excellent battery life. It's favored by many professional gamers for its precision and comfort.
Razer DeathAdder V2: Known for its ergonomic design, this wired mouse features a 20,000 DPI optical sensor and customizable RGB lighting. It's a great choice for both casual and competitive gamers.
SteelSeries Rival 600: This mouse offers dual sensors for precise tracking and customizable weight, making it a versatile option for various gaming styles.
Choosing the right gaming mouse ultimately depends on your personal preferences and gaming needs, so consider trying a few options if possible!
