TL;DR Enhance your gaming setup with additional monitors, effective cable management, ambient lighting, and personalized decor.
Monitors and Display
Adding more monitors can significantly enhance your gaming experience. Several users suggested incorporating a second or even a fourth monitor for a more immersive setup [2:1],
[3:4]. A multi-monitor setup not only improves gameplay but also increases productivity for multitasking
[3:3]. Consider a curved monitor for added depth and visual appeal
[3].
Lighting and Ambiance
Lighting plays a crucial role in creating an inviting and engaging gaming environment. Options like RGB lighting, warm lighting, and specialized light panels such as Nanoleafs can add flair to your setup [1:2],
[1:5],
[3]. These elements can transform the space and make it feel more personalized and dynamic.
Cable Management
Effective cable management is often overlooked but can greatly improve the aesthetics of your setup. Keeping cables organized and hidden can prevent clutter and create a cleaner look [2]. This is especially important when dealing with multiple monitors and peripherals.
Decor and Personalization
Personalizing your setup with collectibles, figurines, or themed decorations can add character and make the space uniquely yours [1:1],
[1:3]. Adding fake greenery or artwork can introduce color and warmth to the area
[3],
[5:6].
Ergonomics and Accessories
Investing in ergonomic accessories like a quality mouse pad, keyboard wrist pad, or comfortable chair can enhance both comfort and performance during long gaming sessions [3],
[5:2]. Consider upgrading your speakers for better sound quality
[1:4],
[5:1].
By focusing on these areas, you can create a gaming setup that is not only functional but also visually appealing and tailored to your preferences.
Hey everyone, not sure if this is the subreddit to do it. But I completed my first PC set up back in April of this year and I’ve been happy with it ever since.
However, the last few weeks I’ve been thinking the space looks uninspired and needs more flare to it. So, I’ve been thinking about what I could do or add to make this space more interesting, or stand out more.
If anyone can give me recommendations, or products they used, to make their set up what it is today, would be appreciated. Just need some inspiration or place to start. Any feedback is appreciated!!
cable manage and RGB
Just some lightings, collectibles and youre good to go
Better lighting and a pair of speakers might help
Some warm lighting
With that desk I would just get a small light and maybe some trading cards or figurines or whatever collectibles you might like to put on the top shelf and that would be it. I like having open space around my keyboard and monitors so it doesn't feel cluttered.
Got my first ever pc recently this is how my setup looks right now. The cable management is hell but I’m trying my best 😭what do you think guys and what more should I improve ?
Bro how do people play like this 😭
Wdym 😭
Trust me there's nothing wrong with your setup lol. I play like this as well no problem. The other guy is probably just being dramatic 😆
Do not play competitive games like this. The problem with using a laptop is you can't keep your keyboard close to the screen. Get a second monitor.
It's a great start! Heck, I started with a Pentium 3 in 2005. That's like an i5 2600K in 2025 lmao
Nice setup! Maybe add another monitor?
Yeah I’ve been thinking about that too !
Especially if you use your Laptop on the daily, having a second monitor helps.
You didn't need to flex about your keyboard that hard
I have the box as decoration not as a flex 😭
Never had a real gaming setup so now making one, still way in progress!
I got the lian li o11 compact in the box waiting for the fans and aio and new psu to change the pc case and some parts.
Was thinking adding 4th monitor on top like maybe 32inch curved? Or something like that.
Was also thinking acoustic panels, maybe nano leafs, new keyboard or at least new wrist pad, new xl size mouse pad but not sure which color would work with this this yet.
Maybe some fake greenery as well for a touch of color?
Also ordered furniture raisers underneath the table but not sure if I actually need them. Also ordered a lot of cable management items that I'm waiting for arrive.
What advice or ideas you all got for me? How to improve? Where to go from here?
Honestly love that monitor setup, but I wish I could see more of the PC.
I totally agree! When I get the lian li case swapped in I’ll try to move the monitors a bit so the pc is more visible
Yeah, a smaller case might totally fix it!
I guess it feels great to work on such a multi monitor setup like yours buddy, niceee
what monitor is in the middle
What keyboard is that?
this is so beautiful 🤩
Hey everyone! Just wanted to share my current PC setup and get some honest feedback. I’ve been slowly building this space to match both aesthetics and function. I use it mainly for gaming and a bit of work here and there.
I’m pretty happy with how it looks, but I know there’s always room for improvement. So I’d love to hear your thoughts—whether it’s cable management, lighting, ergonomics, or anything else I might’ve missed.
Thanks in advance!
which model are your monitors?
I think it looks amazing ❤️
Thanks a lot! Appreciate it ❤️ Been working on it bit by bit, glad you like it!
OLED?
Tbh that looks aoo cozy and warm...
Whoa! love your setup so clean <3
Hey everyone,
Just looking for some honest feedback and suggestions on how I can improve my PC setup. I’ve already got a decent foundation, but I feel like it could be better—whether that’s aesthetics, cable management, ergonomics, or adding some new gear.
Any help is appreciated. :)
I would get a mouse mat they make your mouse glide smooth and they look nice especially those ones that cover your mouse and keyboard
Don't worry I have a steelseries Qck Balcance XL on the way
Very nice quality mouse pad also it's kinda hard to see in the photo but I would get a bigger keyboard with a numpad idk what you use yours for but I use a numpad all the time

Straighten that art on your wall. Very crooked

Some nuddy pics on the wall
Nothing really you can a0scend now to PC master heaven but if you like having an option for party I really do like my microlab giant speakers got that phat bass I love.
I have a small YouTube channel and I need help on making my setup as good/professional looking as possible. Btw I have something underneath the pc so it’s not collecting dust, so no im not a crazy person that keeps their pc on carpet.
i have the same cheap amazon desk. it sucks. i suggest getting a deeper desk to have more space
Yeah I was planning on getting an IKEA desk in the future
nice idea, also how do you manage to have comfortable leg room? my pc is off to the left on the floor. it’s out of the way while being at a nice distance to hit the power button and whatnot
Hey everyone!
Just wanted to share my gaming setup. The first pic is what my current setup looks like, and the second is a 3D render I made of how I’d love for it to turn out.
Would love to hear any ideas on how to improve the current setup—whether it's lighting, cable management, decor, whatever you've got!
(Also, please ignore the random cereal box and the Halo figure on the shelf—they're just temporary placeholders until my new figures arrive 😅)
Appreciate any tips you’ve got!

What is your PC case called ?
Suggestions:
I would get a Holder to display your controller.
Would upgrade to a better headset if possible.
Hi! Its a Thermaltake Tower 300
Yes, i need a holder for the gamepad, i was thinking to put in the ikea skadis behind the monitor as show in the second picture.
The headset are ok, its a Monitor iem made for audiphiles. i also have a Senheisser h599 but its not in the picture.
Thanks for the suggestions!!
Don’t remove Master Chief.
I had a better one, but its broke. I'm waiting for a new one now.
Clean
Hey there everyone, I just wanna thank everyone for taking their time to help me
So I’m in the search for building a computer for the first time, however, when it comes to components, im a bit stumped
The games I play are kinda all over the place - FPS, cars, etc. But I also plan on using the PC for video editing and for architecting buildings and concepts for my business (but I want the PC geared for gaming)
I’m coming from a MacBook Pro so this is going to be a huge upgrade, the thing is slow, no more storage, and a piece of trash tbh.
I don’t currently own a monitor, but a monitor, 4K and 144hz or something would be great (around 30 inches give or take)
A keyboard would be great, mechanical works and for a mouse, whatever works the best and can be recycled for work purposes too
Thank you everyone
I don’t plan on doing any overclocking also
https://pcpartpicker.com/list/Ldy8sX The monitor is eating up a lot of the budget and it would be near to impossible trying to find a 3070 at msrp.
Thank you so much, now taht I saw it, if I remove the monitor and just pay it separately than the 2500, could a 3070/3080 be in my scope?
Yeah definitely could add a 3080 if you pay for the monitor separately.
You can change the cpu for what the fellow below said, also have to change the motherboard.
Just needing as much advice as possible everything is appreciated I’ve been researching lots lately and ready to make the investment into building my own gaming pc for games like cod and also applications like photoshop looking to spend up to max 2k on the entire setup, any recommendations on the ideal parts I should be trying to get
Are peripherals included in that budget? That can take off like $400-600, making a high-end build into a midrange build, I can cobble a few lists if you got any preferences like a color scheme, a specific case, etc.
I recommend a Ryzen 7000 build, a smidgen more pricy than a DDR5 Intel 12/13th gen build, and a quite a bit more than a DDR4 12th/13th gen build. I don't recommend Ryzen 5000 as Intel 12th gen really eclipses it if you aren't already on AM4.
Peripherals aren’t included in the budget and honestly I don’t have many preferences as of yet open to all suggestions but looking at a white colour scheme for the build
RGB or no? If you're main games are popular console titles like CoD, Radeon GPUs usually get a 10-30% performance boost over the nvidia card that rivals it's price bracket. Is it just photoshop or do you do video editing or 3D modeling/render too?
Looks awesome. Have fun dude!
Congrats bud
