Durability and Longevity
Baggu bags are known for their durability, particularly their reusable shopping bags. These bags are designed to withstand frequent use, with many users reporting that they last for hundreds of uses before showing significant wear. This makes them a sustainable choice for those looking to reduce waste by using reusable bags instead of single-use plastic ones [3:2]. The emphasis on durability aligns with the broader sustainability movement, which encourages consumers to use products until they can no longer be used effectively
[3:1].
Sustainability Considerations
While Baggu bags are durable, it's important to consider the broader context of sustainability. Some users point out that collecting multiple canvas bags can defeat the purpose of being sustainable if they aren't used regularly [3:1]. Therefore, it's recommended to use what you already have and only replace items when necessary. Additionally, creating your own bags from old clothes or sheets is suggested as an even more sustainable option
[3:3].
Design and Aesthetic Appeal
Baggu bags are not only functional but also come in a variety of designs that appeal to different tastes. While specific reviews on Baggu's design were not discussed in the threads, the general sentiment towards similar products indicates that aesthetic appeal is an important factor for many consumers. This is evident from discussions about other types of bags where users express excitement over new designs and styles [4:1].
Practical Tips
For those interested in purchasing Baggu bags or similar durable options, it's worth considering local availability and alternatives. For example, in the UK, Waitrose offers durable cotton bags that serve a similar purpose [3:2]. Additionally, exploring options at local stores like IKEA or online platforms focused on sustainable products can provide viable alternatives
[3:3].
And something other than Open It Up. If this happened, this album would be lowkey competing with NS and be the best lone project
Aint hard top 3 on there fytb get rid of top flo or sum
Hell nah top flo top 5 on the album for me

Rose gold will come eventually & bags on bags ain’t even the hardest alternative. I think the album is still amazing how it is imo. Gotta let it sit for more time before I compare

Hi Selling this from God Factory <3
Unfortunately I live in the USA, so I don’t have any recommendations for the UK specifically. BUT, have you thought about using old clothes, sheets, etc. and making your own bags (or having someone sew them for you)? That would be the most sustainable option by far. If not, I’d consider this. Also, maybe your local IKEA has some options. Not the most sustainable, but when you consider a new canvas style bag has to be used at least a few hundred times to be more sustainable than plastic bags I’d say reusing what you already have is the best option outside of up-cycling or second-hand stuff.
a durable cotton bag would get used 100s of times, people shop what twice a week?
this should be a staple for everyone worldwide, plus water bottles, lunch boxes, all that. it’s our mindset collectively needs to shift. we’ve been living in throw away mindset for decades.
waitrose have a big cotton, durable bag.
Totally agree! I’m coming from a purely sustainability perspective. Many people collect cute canvas bags and that defeats the purpose of being sustainable. I’ve been guilty of that before. It’s better to use what you already have until you can’t anymore and then replace it with something “better”.
Omg sooo cute!! 💕🐣

Am I the only one who thinks it's weird that the OP hates American Airlines because United screwed up?
That part about the AirTags time and time again people need to be using those and they never do.
TLDR: infrequent flyer books flight to arrive barely before a cruise starts, gets rebooked, luggage is delayed and since they have AirTag they waste a ton of people’s time at AA and UA who have nothing to do with bags and the bag arrives like it would have if the passenger had done nothing at all.

I love collecting and this brand, but this is honestly concerning for one month :/
Over consumption within one month. Everything is cute but I personally can’t justify buying this much in such a small amount of time :(
I want to understand but WHY 3 small cloud carry ons within a month 😭
Sorry, but this is just embarrassing unfortunately 😔 Overconsumption at its worst. I'm sure we've all been there. But you may want to consider if you have a shopping addiction. Good on you for having the funds, but maybe you could find something more worthwhile to spend it on
i saw ur other comment about people frying you for purchasing so much in so little time, and i’m gonna say it’s because (despite buying under retail) it’s still overconsumption and viewing someone else go through the desperation for instant gratification is what riles them up.
i understand it’s your money and again, i’m glad you can afford all of this, but slow fashion and waiting to purchase is better for your brain and spending habits is all. a lot of people in this sub go through the “let’s see how much i like and use it and if the missing color is a gap in my wardrobe” kind of thought process. that’s all.
Where did you get the gingham cloud?
i don’t want to be overly anti over consumption but that’s pretty fast for a month
Fellow climber here — I use the standard cloud as my gym bag and it rarely gets chalky and I put my chalk bucket into the largest size 3D zip pouch with my shoes. Just a tip to keep your bag tidy.
Do not get me wrong I love Baggu and always will but I am to the point where I am like how many crescent bags do I really need in my life they keep dropping new colors I can’t deal. Also I have love hate seasons with Baggu lol
I feel you girl I just was able to score the badtz Maru and my diso miffy medium crescent and miffy scco!! I’m done for a while I’ll just watch the a acquisitions on here lol
Me too I have all I need I am actually selling all my old baggu crescents with the old length I am just keeping the photo forest bags and 2 cargo crossbodies.
where are you selling 👀
I have just arrived to this point and for sure I think it’s that I’ve bought so much new stuff over the last year versus years previous. Too many drops lately that match my aesthetic/preferences. Seeing Molly Goddard and the winter leaks is helping because I don’t want any of it. And additionally not interested in buying any past Baggu because of price inflation. So anyways I’m enjoying what I have
I feel you. I went overboard last year (five crescents + a sling) and sold them all from decision fatigue 😮💨 (I’ve got bags from other brands too…🤡). Now I only keep one or two of each style, and if I love a colorway but don’t want to commit, I just grab a reusable. Had to create a system and stick to it, or else I get restless with the revolving door of buying/reselling 🥀.
That's so smart! I actually don't own any of their reusables. What a good way of still being able to enjoy the design.
The amount of drops that Baggu does is insane to me. I just got my very first Baggu back in May (the small strawberry Miffy). Got hooked ever since and have collected so many pieces that I’d be embarrassed to show how many.
I’m just blown away at how often they release new collections/colors etc.
I want to take a break from Baggu too.
I just love them so much.
I’m trying to be good and not get anything from this next collab.
i'm trying to recall how often they did drops previously?? did they up the ante because people started getting obsessed and making them trendy??
When I got into BAGGU over ten years ago, they used to do a few (I’m talking maybe 2-3 drop in a year) with 5-6 items. Then, in recent years they started doing what feels like multiple drops a season with numerous items, it feels like over 10+ items. There’s been so drops this year alone that I lost track.
The amount of drops lately seems really unsustainable both in the environmental sense and just in the can-you-keep-this-going-forever sense.
Ideally we’re not supposed to care about their drops except when we absolutely need their products 🤣 but here we are 🫣
if anyone feels this way about their forest crescent and wants to sell it to me let me know LOL
Someone on here was asking about the longevity of the duck bag, so I wanted to show off my very well-loved duck bag that is looking much worse for wear these days but is still a great bag. First photo was taken shortly after I got it in 2020, and second photo on were all taken in 2025.
This was my first Baggu bag, and I used it daily for about three years. It has sat on the beach, at the bottom of a canoe, dirt, grass, you name it. This baby came EVERYWHERE with me and carried anything I could need, and then some. Nylon wears much better--it doesn't stain or get bleached from the sun nearly as easily. But there's just something about the natural, relaxed look of cotton, maybe even more so after it's become so weathered. I think I'll eventually try to dye this one close to its original color (Eucalyptus) or just black, but for now I still use it to schlep some things around when I don't care about looking a little tattered. 💚
I love that color. I still have my duck bag from 2013. I used it as my only bag for five years, and it still looks great.
I got my duck bag secondhand and I love it!! they said they had used it for a few years already and I’ve gotten a year or use out of it so far and it’s still in amazing condition.
I love it! It's crazy to me when people get rid of their bags just because of stains.
I would get a duck bag in a heartbeat if they had a wider strap
I just snagged a horizontal duck bag recently and am waiting for it in the mail. My first baggu was a vertical duck bag and I was obsessed with it until I got a crescent. The vertical one now feels a bit too big for me so I’m hoping the horizontal will become my new day-to-day 🙂
Horizontal does feel/look smaller in a good way! Hope you love it :)
I love this brand. Have a small one (mandarin red❤️🔥), but not a large one so far.
See I loved the concept of the smaller one I had but it just wasn’t big enough , I sold it and the sale gods blessed me with this beauty (bc I’m sorry I’m not paying 110+$) hahaha
Oh I get it. I wish this one came in the same color. I start stuffing camera gear in the medium baggu or the small b2tm and I wind up having to switch to a backpack often…
Love BTTM! They have such fun stuff! I actually also recently cheated on Baggu, I have a Threads mini slouchy coming tomorrow 🙈
I have one of these and love it! Pockets for everything plus two drink holders!
It's actually my most complimented bag, which is wild to me because it's such a nerdy-techy bag (complimentary) and mine is in a very funky colorway (acid yellow and turquoise).
Oooo that sounds SOOO FUNN 😍😍 I had the smaller crescent in drizzle and I loved the color, but I hated the size of the bag being a Mom and an over packer. It just didn’t fit enough of my things. They finally just had an amazing sale and this big crescent was 50% off and I couldn’t not get it. The color is more beautiful than I thought it would’ve been. And it is a perfect size for me. I got tired of my son’s water spilling in my BAGGU’s so I bit the bullet to try the bigger version and I am so happy with my gamble. Lmao
B2TM does really great colors, yes! Anyway, I love your bag and pouch combo. 💞
I’m so conflicted because I want one too because I’m just addicted to bags 😂 but it just feels soo ugly because of the pouches on the sides 😂😂
Ooo this bag is so cute, what brand is it?
It’s baboon to the moon ! This is the 8L crescent 🙂↕️
Omgggg how do you like it?! I’ve been thinking about it but wasn’t sure how it would fit an iPad & some other stuff I carry!
I’ve been eyeing it forever thanks to IG sponsored posts, I finally bit the bullet! I’ll report back bestie 🫡
Further proof to me that colorway makes a world of difference!
I have tried the bowler in different colors and always hated the way it hung on my short frame (enough to have made a post in frustration about it)
I felt this same way about the small sling for a while now, as in decided it will never be for me.. right up until Mixed Plaid ✨ Never would I have imagined that this style would be my favorite and most used Baggu to date! Literally blows my mind.
This time with the latest bowler restock I figured I would try one last time and then I’d be done. I have no idea why the chocolate plum just hits different…. All the hype is so deserved! I’m honestly still not over how i almost missed out on this. Nothing like a sign to never give up too quick on something you love and have faith in as a whole🫶🏻
Now I wonder if a crazy 180 about a certain style has happened to others like it did with me 🤔
I got my mom a chocolate plum bowler because she was curious about Baggu and honestly I’m so glad I chose that color beacuse it’s so pretty and versatile. I want one but can’t really justify it because I already have two bowlers 😭 I’m glad you found a bowler for you! I love your Skullpanda too btw ❤️❤️
Chocolate plum really is that girl. Maybe cuz there’s none of that feathering effect that we see with colored nylon-While also not being just flat black? It’s so good!
And about the 2 bowlers already— just tells me you’re starting a collection! Lol im sorry im not good at tough love in my current state. Lol
Yay thanks do you have a skullpanda? This is my first one and i lowkey dont prefer that i got the face tattoo baddie lmfao but her colors are so pretty 🥴
Yes!! i’m deep in skullpanda rn! She looks really good with your bag! Actually a lot of the christmas collection skullpandas would look good!
One of my first Baggu bags was the shoulder bag in chocolate plum! I’ve tried my best to get my other baggus in different colors but I now have a medium crescent in chocolate plum too😂 the color is so good, can be worn in any season and is neutral while still having a liitttlle touch of something fun. It’s by far my fav color!
OMG if this isnt the same case for me right now with the medium bowler while it’s still in stock…. But I’m trying hard to stick to 1 colorway per style for my own good😭 Chocolate Plum is just so delicious to look at!
God help us all 🙂↕️
I was thinking about the mixed plaid sling too! do you have a picture of how it wears? :)
ahh thank you!! its so cute I think I'm going to cave haha
your charms match the bag so well!
Thank you 🤎❤️
Hi may I know what's this size of your bag please😳
Regular size bowler 🫡
Thanks for getting back to me!🥰🥰
