I need some recommendations on good animes that are on Hulu/Disney+. I've watched AOT 10/10, Death Note 10/10, Dandadan 9/10, erased 9/10, Promised Neverland 9.5/10, One Punch Man 10/10. Currently in S2 of My Hero Academia and enjoying it so far. Any recommendations are appreciated.
Just happy you think AOT is 10/10 😊 my fav anime
Honestly AOT isn't just a 10/10 anime. It's an incredible show in general even when compared to shows outside of anime and the action genre.
Undead Unluck is really good if it's still on hulu
That one sounds interesting, I might give it a try
Frieren, How a Realist Hero Rebuilt the Kingdom, apothecary diaries, sword art online, jobless reincarnation, demon slayer, jujitsu kaisen, hunter x hunter, cowboy bebop, fire force, bleach.
Demon Slayer looks good but there's so many different ones. Does it matter which order I watch them in?
Just watch it from the beginning.
Some god ones I’ve seen on Hulu are:
Appare Ranman: a steampunk style racing anime with a good amount of action! Rated 10/10
Arte: an anime about a young girl in the 16th century, trying to become an artist. Not a romance. Rated 9/10
Spy x family : an anime about a spy and assassin having a fake marriage and a cute telepath daughter to complete a mission. Currently watching, but would rate 10/10 one of my absolute favorites!!
Thank you for descriptions as well as recommendations.
Your welcome! Hope u enjoy them! Also Spy x Family is getting another season in October of this year!
Ishura was a good watch, in my opinion. Totally underrated.
Just started watching Fable and I like it so far, so anyone have any recommendations on the best anime to watch on Hulu? I have watch and loved classics like the Dragon Ball franchise, Naruto, Code Geass, Death Note to more recent hits like Demon Slayer, MHA, Vinland Saga, JJK, Fate/Zero, Tengoku Daimakyo and others
Just started watching Fable and Undead Unluck and realized I have been overlooking Hulu's anime, so wanted to see what the best anime Hulu has to offer or what people on here recommend
I'm currently making my way through Black Clover and enjoy it.
Spring 2024 is a good anime season for Hulu. Along with The Fable, they have Go! Go! Loser Ranger! and Mission: Yokazura Family as exclusives and are continuing with Mushoku Tensei.
Hulu has all four seasons of Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? They're also current so far with My Hero Academia. We'll have to see if they get the seventh season in May. Spy x Family is a fun show that Hulu is complete on.
PS: I forgot Sand Land was another exclusive that started the season early on March 20th. It's adapted from an manga by Akira Toriyama (DBZ).
I forgot Spy X Family is on Hulu! Such a good show and the Manga is super fun to read.
Season 1 of One Punch Man
Funnies show I swear
Attack On Titan.
Summertime Rendering.
Yes. Watch this one. No excuses
Looking for new anime to watch but seriously struggling to sort through the bad ones. Leave out big titles cause I’ve probably already watched them. Looking for slept on gems I may not have seen before.

There is no such thing as best anime.
Do have to agree with this
I want to recommend to you Marimashita Iruma-kun!
It starts as a great comedy with romance and shonen elements and grows into awesome series with great mc, characters and worldbuilding, saving comedy, romance and shonen in it
Thank you! It sounds awesome, may have to start it in just a few minutes. Will return with an opinion… one day
I'll wait for the large reaction text :D
Astra something space
Isn't TBHK on Hulu?
Toilet-Bound Hanako-Kun is my personal favorite.
I really enjoyed Bleach and Attack on Titan but not sure what to watch next… any recommendations? I struggle hard core choosing new shows to watch 😅
Chainsaw Man. It's a quick, fun watch. Kind of mix of comedy and horror.
Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood
One punch man
Sailor Moon
Frieren: Beyond Journey's End
Incredible anime, it both embraces and rejects typical anime tropes while telling a story that feels familiar yet unique. I very much enjoyed this anime
Hey, I'm new to anime and wanted to know what anime I should watch that's on Hulu because it's the only streaming service I have. Any suggestions?
Attack on titan, demon slayer, bleach, some of one piece,
Also berserk 1997 but it’s not on Hulu I watched it all on YouTube which you probably have
What kind of genre do you like:
Fantasy
Sci Fi
Romance
Historical
LGBT
Action
High School
Slice of Life
Violent/gore
NSFW
Cooking
Adventure
Getting reincarnated into another world where you have overwhelming powers and have to fight a Demon Lord (I kid you not, this is the most popular genre of anime right now).
Someone who's new to anime would have no idea
I'm pretty sure my dislike for historical and sci-fi extends to anime just like nonanime shows.
Why is NSFW a genre?
Black lagoon, jojos bizzare adventure, one punch man, spy x family
Black lagoon is too elite
Psycho Pass!!
Pretty sure dr.stone is on Hulu
I know Hulu has a decent-sized anime collection now. I would like recommendations for some good ones I can start. I don't care about age so name things that are super old or so new it just came out, just as long as it's on Hulu. Here are some anime that I've watched so far: S1 of One Piece, Death Note, My Hero Academia, Little Witch Academia, One Punch Man, Charlotte, Bleach, Naruto, S1 of Attack on Titan, Rosario + Vampire, Hunter x Hunter, Black butler, Black clover, Words bubble up like soda pop, Demon Slayer, Full metal alchemist/FMA: Brotherhood, Sword Art Online, Suicide Squad Isekai, InuYasha, The promised neverland, Soul Eater
Chainsaw Man
Mob Psycho 100
One Punch Man
Dan Da Dan
If you like isekai with op Mc. Eminence in shadow is one of my favorites to brain rot too
I don't usually watch anime, but there's one I've been into called Frieren. It's very awesome plus the main character is a pretty elf lady
This one Frieren is great. Need season 2 now. Netflix
I heard season 2 is coming out this summer
Samurai Champloo
The Macross universe encompasses a loosely connected group of shows that usually involve mecha action, singing and romance to varying degrees. Starting this year, Hulu started streaming most of what's available in the Macross franchise. Due to Harmony Gold's claims due to use of the original Macross TV series in it's derivative Robotech series, the original Macross TV series and the movie Macross: Do You Remember Love are not available on Hulu.
Looking under Anime in the TV section of Hulu, I see Cowboy Bebop under Anime Classics. Also a Classic is the 1989 version of Ranma 1/2 based on the manga by Rumiko Takahashi. It's a comedy of martial arts and romantic misunderstandings and some gender bending. Due to a curse, Ranma turns into a girl when cold water hits and needs to be splashed with hot water to return to his normal form. Hulu has all seven seasons.
In the New to Hulu section, there's Shangri-La Frontier. This is an action series with great animation. It takes place mostly in a virtual game world. Hulu has the first of two seasons.
The Fable was a series I enjoyed for the characters and the humor of the situation. There's action and fighting, but the animation was average at best. This series is exclusive to Hulu/Disney+.
I'm looking for something to watch but having trouble deciding what. I've seen a lot of anime, so I'm looking for any recommendations on these platforms as they're all I have atm
On Netflix, i only know Blue Period, hinamatsuri and Oshi no ko. but i think u can also watch death note, demon slayer and I'm not sure but i saw them announcing a one piece movie too.
Kengan ashura on Netflix has some of the most realistic fights in any anime. I highly recommend it especially if you love fight tournaments.
This is pretty vague. What do you like first?
Action: Demon Slayer, My Hero Academia
Action + Humor: One Punch Man, Black Clover
Horror/Twisted: Tokyo Ghoul, Chainsaw Man, Overlord
Isekai: Mushoku Tensei, No Game No Life
Sad Isekai: Re-zero, Death Parade
Check out Good Night World on Netflix. It just came out a couple of days ago & Its dope! Nobody seems to be talking about it though or making videos on it yet.
Hi-Score Girl is a cute romcom.
Hunter x Hunter is a masterpiece of a battle shounen.
Happy Sugar Life is an underrated gem.
JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure is just fun with great fights.
Death Note is a classic thriller.
Little Witch Academia is a really fun and enjoyable show with likeable characters and creative visuals.
Cyberpunk Edgerunners is a stylish show that is very good.
Neon Genesis Evangelion is a classic.
One Punch Man is a funny superhero parody.
Re:Creators is about fiction coming to life.
Violet Evergarden is a beautiful anime with a great main character and gorgeous animation.
Demon Slayer has amazing fight scenes.
Bunny Girl Senpai is a charming show.
Toradora is a classic romcom.
Cowboy Bebop is another 90s classic.
I’m still a noob . I’ve only watched attack on titan death note psycho pass the promised never land and maybe one or two others I can’t remember atm.
Edit : I’ve seen dbz naruto etc but don’t really count them quite as anime’s
Yu Yu Hakusho, Steins;Gate, Erased, and Demon Slayer.
Death Parade! If you liked Death Note I’m sure you’ll have a good time with this one. Literally an incredible series and it’s super short, too. Subbed and dubbed.
Cowboy Bebop!
Watched Bebop all the way through on Hulu, its what got me here tbh.
Assassination Classroom and Hunter x Hunter are my recommendations!
Parasite
I am hooked but don’t know where to go. I absolutely LOVED Death Note and the Disastrous Life of Saiki K. I tried out Vampire Knight and AssClass but they got predictable and boring. I want a story with a good MC and interesting story or something that will make me laugh! I’d like for it to have an English dub. As long as it keeps me hooked it should work!
Violet Evergarden on Netflix is a personal fav of mine, the show has a wonderful (and beautiful) MC and the storyline is good, and it's animated by KyoAni
Steins gate on Hulu is a classic
Castlevania obviously (netflix)
Parasyte the maximum was pretty dope
Totally agree
Psycho-Pass on Hulu.
It is an absolute MASTERPIECE! The first season anyway.
I just 'finished' Attack on Titan (I guess they haven't completed all episodes yet relative to the manga?). Really enjoyed so many moments in this series :)
Looking for my next addiction.
Demon slayer is my favorite at the moment the series is not finished yet like AOT
If you liked Attack on Titan, check out My Hero Academia, Demon Slayer, Jujitsu Kaisen, or Death Note. These are a similar genre to AoT. If you want one thats a different genre, some good romance/slice of lifes are Fruits Basket and Horimiya. If you like sports and want a sports anime, try Haikyu or Kokoro Basketball.
Piggybacking to recommend Death Note. Not only my favorite anime of all time but my favorite show of all time.
Vinland saga for sure!! Would also recommend mob psycho 100
Vinland was great! Thanks! I didnt like the very very ending though.
Glad you enjoyed it :) the ending was very frustrating!
I recommend Vinland as well.
Gurren Lagann.
Black clover
so good but i lost my spot and can’t get back into it
