To add on to this great list:
A Silent Voice: The Movie
Ouran High School Host Club - a little bit different than the above recommendations, but very well-done if you aren’t looking for a “save the world at all costs” anime.
A Silent Voice was really good yeah!
I haven't seen Ouran High School Host Club actually. I'll add it to my list also :).
Those are all good ones, my favorite of those is Death Note.
I don’t think I’ve ever laughed so much at an anime before.
I've really enjoyed the **Castelvania** series.
Was about to say this. I watched all of it in one go, couldn't stop. It's fantastic!
Avatar the last air bender. American, but anime style with anime themes, so count in my book
Also excellent american animation: Bojack Horseman and F is for Family.
Bojack is so good. I was kinda meh on the first season, but the later ones are great. I'm roughly halfway though season 5.
Neon Genesis Evangelion is absolutely mind blowing. There’s some pervy creepiness to get over but the giant robots and unusual religious apocalypse and sci-fi subplots are excellent.
It also dispenses with this bullshit that teenagers can just step into world saving pants and be fine. There is a lot of psychological horror
Does HunterxHunter have all episodes?
First 4 seasons. It's missing the Chimera Ants and Election seasons. I may be in the minority but I didn't like the Chimera Ants arc anyways
Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure, Naruto and The Disastrous Life of Saiki K
It seems nearly all the movies by Studio Ghibli are there on Netflix. Highly recommended!!
Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood
Gurren lagann!
It literally changed my life and I 100% recommend it as well! It's somehow perfect from the start but gets better with every episode.
Devilman Crybaby
I like any type of anime as long as it has a good plot. I'm currently watching Yu Yu Hakusho. Please recommend some good ass shows :>
Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood
Death Note
Code Geass
Attack on Titan
Fate/Zero
Noragami
This. And psycho pass and madoka magica (steins gate of its available)
btw why cant my country's netflix have noragami and aot as well

How has no one said violet evergarden yet. It is straight up the best one on there. Other than that, your lie in April, saiki and madoka magica are all great as well.
Devilman Crybaby
Carol and Tuesday
Violet Evergarden
Dorohedoro
Parasite
Your lie in april
Kengan Hashura
Hunter x Hunter (not all of it)
Fullmetal alchemist/FMA Brotherhood
Beastars
Angel Beats
Attack on Titan (1st season)
Naruto, a few Naruto Shippuden and some movies
Seaven Deadly Sins
March comes in like a lion
One Piece (130~ ep)
One Punch Man (1st season)
As for movies :
A bunch of Ghibli Movies
Blame
A Silent Voice
Shikioriori
oh wow thanks for the list
Beastars and Evangelion are probably my top picks.
Food Wars and Haikyuu were surprisingly good. Had zero interest in the subject matter of either at the start but ended up binging them in their entirety.
The disastrous life of saiki k is good if you want a somewhat bizarre slice of life comedy. Only problem, for me at least, is that the netflix subtitles could sometimes not keep up with some of the fast paced dialogue.
Post yours!
Mine are so far:
What’s yours?
Obligitory Jojo's Bizzare Adventure
Beastars
Devilman Crybaby
Kill La Kill
Not anime per se, but Castlevania
Dorohedoro, but it's one of those CG cel shaded anime and depends on your enjoyment of those
beastars and castlevania are awesome! if you enjoy wholesome (op) little witch academia and BNA are both reallllyyyy good!
Little Witch Academia was such a pleasant surprise. It is also beautifully animated.
Some really good ones on Netflix:
Death Note - https://www.addtothelist.com/title/347-death-note

The Promised Neverland - https://www.addtothelist.com/title/919-the-promised-neverland

Great Pretender - https://www.addtothelist.com/title/402208-great-pretender
Attack on Titan (sadly only the first season is on Netflix, but it's one of the best animes ever so watch the next two seasons elsewhere!) - https://www.addtothelist.com/title/811-attack-on-titan
Hunter x Hunter - https://www.addtothelist.com/title/61-hunter-x-hunter
Just started watching anime and Erased is the best one I've seen so far
Yeah, the first episode was confusing as all hell with some incredibly dark humor, but I think it was the second or third where it clicked for me.
>!I’m still laughing at the zombie baseball bit.!<
One Punch Man is one of the funniest shows I've ever seen
Seconded, I just wish the second season lived up to the first.
Carol and Tuesday is amazing even more so if you're into music. It also takes place in the cowboy bebop universe and the subtle nods are always fun.
Woaaah I didn’t know it was in the cowboy bebop universe I’m def gonna give it a shot now
Absolutely loved this series. A satisfying ending too.
Agreed. Can't wait for the next season.
I’ve watched these anime and this is my rating on them
Black clover (8.9 out of 10)
Violet evergarden (10/10)
Ashita no joe (10/10)
Hajime no ippo (8.9/10
You are ms servant (9/10, really caught me off guard with how much I enjoyed it)
Naruto (7.9/10)
Monster (10/10)
darling in the franxxx (5/10, not too bad but had a horrible ending for me)
Pluto (8/10, really good)
Attack on titan (7.9/10, couldn’t continue watching after the second season)
Dororo (6.5/10, great story and animation, just wish it wasn’t so short and had more side character interactions)
Jjba (9.9/10, got a bit hard to watch only during the golden wind season)
Dan dadan ( solid 5.5/10, did what it needed to do for its goal)
One punch man (6/10, also decent)
Jjk (6/10)
Haikyu (not finished but I give it a solid 7/10)
Demon slayer (6/10, didn’t fall short in what it was trying to do)
Alya and Komi (dropped both of them, just got too plain and repetitive
L taste, respect for jjba but dororo, jjk and AOT are too low. I can even understand giving aot too low if u had watched last season bcus of the ending but u havent even get past 2nd one bruh
exactly, aot s3 (especially s3p2) and s4 is so peak. i understand if people dont like s4p3 but personally i liked that too. overall a 10/10 in my opinion. jjk i really didnt enjoy s1, even the action, i really dont know why, but season 2 was fire so i'd give it a 7/10 overall. i haven't seen dororo
I don’t know why but I just steadily lost enjoyment after the first season, then it became just a pain to watch
Dororo would be a 10/10 if I hadn’t watched so many anime that I enjoyed more, jjk was fun to watch but it had no lasting impact on me, compare that to my higher rankings like Ashita no joe, Violet evergarden, and monster and yo unrealized why I can’t give them 10/10
Solo leveling, Kaiju number 8, Fireforce, Dr Stone, rezero.
Watched solo, re zero, fire force, and I’m thinking of watching kaiju n8, but I’ll have to try out stone after that
Oh okay, so if you watched rezero, how about So I'm a spider so what, arifureta, and the time I was reincarnated as a slime?
Apocalypse Hotel
Orb On To The Movements Of Earth
Buddy Daddies
Rage Of Bahamut Genesis(S1)/Virgin Soul(S2)
Medalist
Sword Of The Demon Hunter
Link Click
Children Of The Whales
Great Pretender
Bungou Stray Dogs
Here are 5 great anime I think you'll rate highly:
Moribito: Guardian Of The Spirit
I am thankful for any recommendations. ❤️
Attack on Titan. Awesome show.
Does it take awhile to get going? I watched the first two or three episodes and was thought it seemed very meh. I do realize that this is considered to be one of the best animes too
I very rarely watch anime and binged the entire thing over the last two weeks. It’s well worth the build and I can honestly say they didn’t waste any time. A lot of early episodes felt like they had filler dialogue, but it all comes back and it’s all important.
Once it’s gets going, it goes hard. Straight up some of the best media I’ve ever watched.
Yeah. It builds. My wife hates anime and she loved this show.
absolutely, it took like 5 episodes at least before I gave a shit at all. it's totally worth it.
You thought 2 episodes in that it didn't kick into gear? Maaaaaaan...
It gets more worth it and character driven further in, but I thought it came out swinging, at least in shock value.
Sure, but Attack on Titan on Netflix only has the first season/25 episodes (in the US, anyway). There is so much more story to be told, but the other three seasons are on Crunchyroll, with the story finally concluding this fall.
I mean not exactly an anime but one of my favorite shows of all time. I was trying to convince my friend to watch it when I was backpacking with him the entire trip and he was hesitant until when we got back and I showed him the rotten tomato ratings.
Cyberpunk Edgerunners is great. Won Anime of the year, the universe is awesome, Studio Trigger is awesome, and it’s only 10 episodes that wraps up the story in the end so it’s a very small time commitment.
As anime? No, but in a NetflixBestOf recommendation thread? Yeah, I'd say so.
Seconded.
:) It was so unexpectedly amazing to watch. You're right, it's not an anime but I can see inspirations from it. Looking forward to the 2nd season.
I don't know but it's one of the best animated shows I've ever seen so it's definitely a good rec.
I don’t have any anime show sites to use. I trust you all to give me great shows. I’m already watching HxH.
I have Netflix Brasil, so i don't know if it have the same in your cataloge
Dorohedoro
Black Lagoon
Megalobox
One Punch Man
Psycho-Pass
Netflix actually has a great selection:
Out of these I really l loved your lie in April, and full metal alchemist brotherhood
Why not get an anime show site? There's a list of them at /r/anime/wiki/related_sites
If you want a sort one look grimoire of zero
Violet evergarden
I am aware that Netflix isn't the best place for anime but it's all I have atm. What's some good stuff that you recommend that doesn't have any hentai in it?
Fullmetal Alchemist & Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood
Gurren Lagann
Inuyasha
Durarara!!
Castle of Cagliostro
HOLY MOLEY. Inuyashi is on there?? Looks like I gotta week and a half to clear.
Not the entire series. Only about 45 episodes.
It mostly depends on where you live. So I’m not sure if you have these on Netflix as well.
Steins:Gate
Anohana
Your Lie in April
Fullmetal Alchemist / FMA: Brotherhood
Erased
Madoka Magica
One Punch Man
Saiki K (season 1 + half of season 2)
Cowboy Bebop
Violet Evergarden

Also some movies, castle of cagliostro (damn miyazaki, what you did to fujiko mine! ), your name/voice (dont remember which one)
I got noragami
Devilman Crybaby
>that doesn't have any hentai in it.
Damnit
Castle of Cagliostro. It's the only Miyazaki movie on there.
Is the only lupin movie?
Violet evergarden and little witch academia
I don’t have access to very many streaming sites, and I’ve watched anime mainly off of Netflix. I’ve watched 7 deadly sins, SAO 1 and 2, GGO, fairy tail, and soul eater. I’m thinking of watching no game no life, are there any Netflix anime you guys would recommend?
Honestly there are so many good ones on Netflix now.
Beastars is good not just for furries. Hunter x hunter is my all time favorite shounen although I think you'd have to catch the rest of it on Crunchyroll or something.
Woah damn thanks for all of those, that’s a huge help man
That list is Excellent, the only ones I'd add are
A.I.C.O - Incarnation
Soul eater
Edit: you've seen soul eater, good on ya mate!
It have Jojo?
Yes, up to "stardust Crusaders"
Violet Evergarden
Eureka 7
Gundam Iron Blooded Orphans
Neon Genesis Evangelion
Code Geass
Berserk
Death Note
Violet Evergarden
FMA
Parasyte
Anohana
Violet Evergarden
Parasyte
Very new to anime, so far loving the series I’ve watched. I started with SAO years ago but only this year have I started watching more since a new coworker has started suggesting me some. He is suggesting assassination classroom next based off what me and him have talked about. I definitely enjoy the combats but I really enjoy seeing a character have actual development and growth.
SAO I give a 9/10 (def biased) Slime 9/10 Overlord 6/10 Black Clover 9/10
Fate/stay night [Unlimited Blade Works]
Gargantia on the Verdurous Planet
These are my favorite shows... If you want a more tailored suggestion or if you want to know more about any of these then ask away, I'm happy to oblige... You can also ask about anything else on https://myanimelist.net/animelist/coLdweezy
If you enjoyed Sword Art Online and That Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime, I recommend Solo Leveling.
It’s on the list!
I would recommend to your eternity, not sure if it really fits what youre looking for but it reminds me of the slime one a lot!

Best netflix anime series
Key Considerations for Choosing the Best Netflix Anime Series:
Genre Preferences: Consider what genres you enjoy (action, romance, horror, fantasy, etc.) as Netflix has a diverse range of anime across various genres.
Popularity and Ratings: Look for series that have received high ratings and positive reviews from both critics and viewers. This can indicate quality storytelling and animation.
Originality: Some series are original Netflix productions, which may offer unique stories and styles not found in traditional anime.
Episode Count: Consider how many episodes are in a series. Some viewers prefer shorter series for a quick binge, while others enjoy longer series for deeper storytelling.
Cultural Impact: Some anime have made significant cultural impacts or have large fanbases, which can enhance your viewing experience through community discussions.
Top Recommendations:
"Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba" - A beautifully animated series that follows Tanjiro Kamado as he fights demons to save his sister. Known for its stunning visuals and emotional depth.
"Attack on Titan" - A gripping series with intense action and a complex plot about humanity's struggle against giant humanoid creatures. Highly acclaimed for its storytelling.
"Castlevania" - An original Netflix series based on the video game, praised for its dark themes, character development, and animation style.
"The Seven Deadly Sins" - A fantasy adventure series with a mix of action, humor, and romance, following a group of knights on a quest to save their kingdom.
