TL;DR Unfortunately, the discussions provided do not contain any relevant information or recommendations on baby diapers. However, here are some general considerations when choosing the best diaper for your baby:
Considerations for Choosing a Diaper
Absorbency: Look for diapers that offer high absorbency to keep your baby dry and comfortable. This is crucial in preventing diaper rash and ensuring your baby's skin remains healthy.
Fit and Comfort: Ensure the diaper fits well around your baby's waist and legs without being too tight. A good fit prevents leaks and ensures your baby can move comfortably.
Material: Consider the materials used in the diaper. Some babies have sensitive skin and may require hypoallergenic or organic options to prevent irritation.
Cost: Diapers can be a significant expense, so consider your budget. There are many brands available at different price points, so you might want to try a few to see which offers the best value for money.
Eco-Friendliness: If environmental impact is a concern, look for biodegradable diapers or those made from sustainable materials.
Brand Recommendations: Popular brands like Pampers, Huggies, and Luvs are often recommended by parents for their reliability and performance. However, newer eco-friendly brands such as Honest Company and Seventh Generation also receive positive reviews.
For more personalized advice, it would be beneficial to consult parenting forums or review sites where parents share their experiences with different diaper brands and styles.

Hi
Y
My baby is 11 months old, size 4 diapers. We like Huggies Little Movers and Millie Moon is ok too. I'm changing her diaper at least 2x if not 3x overnight. She sleeps about 10 hours. Huggies used to last all night, but I'm guessing she's just getting bigger and her volume is bigger?
I want her to stay dry, so I don't mind changing them, the problem is she's starting to anticipate a diaper change and is fully waking up and it's hard to get her back to sleep.
Do you use overnight diapers? If so, what brand do you like?
I use regular Huggies during the day and Huggies overnight at night. I notice a big difference when I put her to bed in a regular diaper vs overnight
We just use normal Pampers. My daughter is 15mo and the standard pampers have been no problem handling 11-12 hour overnights! Wondering if we should get overnights, though, after reading these comments...
My LO is 9 months old and we use regular Pampers as well. He sleeps 10-12 hours a night and doesn't have leaks. I do use diaper cream nightly though to protect his skin from rashes.
I third this. Pampers cruisers + diaper cream has never led us astray. I will say since my baby is extra long we have to size up (size 6 at 16 months 😫), if your baby is routinely leaking through diapers at night you can also consider sizing up to see if that’s working for you better
yes we do the exact same! my son is 12mo and has been sleeping through the night consistently since around 5mo. regular pampers swaddlers and diaper rash cream nightly. never been an issue
I felt the same way! Have a 19 month old that does fine in pampers for the 11 hours....
Yes, we have used overnight diapers since 6ish months with my oldest. We've had good luck with Huggies Overnites. We typically have them the size up from her day diapers. She's a little over 2 now and in Size 3/4T pullups (similar to Size 4 diapers) and we use Size 5 Huggies Overnites.
same we have been doing 1 size up of Huggies overnight since 6mo!
Huggies overnights is definitely the answer!
I really like Huggies overnight because they're unscented and soooo absorbent. Seriously some mornings it's like a softball.
OP, the related thing I found is that using a coat of Aquaphor or Vaseline can really prevent diaper rash from sitting in the same diaper for 10+ hours. We call it the dinosaur goo diaper spa.
Yes we love them! Using Pampers Overnight for my 9.5 month old since about 6 months and has no wakes for diapers changes. Game changer.
We’ve used overnight diapers since my kids were doing 12 hour stretches from a very young age! Pampers overnight has contained it all!!! If it leaks, then the size is too small.
Hi Reddit! I’m a proud new father to a baby girl and I’m looking for recommendations on essential baby care products.
Specifically, I’d love advice on:
Best wet wipes for newborns (gentle, rash-free)
Diaper brands that are soft, absorbent, and leak-proof
Average monthly cost for diapers and wipes in India
Any tips from experienced parents would be amazing! Thanks in advance and She is one month old.
Mother's Sparsh worked great for us. It was neutral and not aromatic so I think it's good to avoid unnecessary rashes.
For diapers - our daughter was a premie so we started off with Pampers because it had the smallest size which we needed. Later on we moved to Mamy Poko pants. I don't remember why but Pampers gave her rashes at about 3-4 months. We continued with Mamy Poko pants till she was 2.
On the cost side - FirstCry gave decent deals for us on wipes and diapers. I remember checking in Metro for the same diapers and FirstCry was cheaper.
Cuddles Diapers
Little's Baby Wipes
Softsens wetwipes
Congratulations man! Daughters can be such a blessing!!
Thank you
Diapers we use pampers premium and wipes of any brand available in appollo pharmacy/Bigbasket, Chicco is a good one coming to mind right now.
It is difficult to tell average monthly budget for these as it will be dependent on how much you use them.
What's your favorite brand? So far I've just tried what we got from the hospital and gifts. The hospital has Huggies and we were gifted Pampers. I do not like the Pampers. Sure they seem nicer with the higher back on the bottom but my lil guy just fidgets out of them and it's harder to see if he pooped in them from the way they grip around his leg. I'm not gonna look a gift horse in the mouth tho...I'm just gonna use them until I run out. We also were given Kirkland's but those are a size he's not yet big enough for. What is your favorite diaper that you swear by?
Rascals! They're so soft and almost leak proof (we've had 2 and they were monster poops nothing could have stopped lol) My girl is long but skinny so at 12 weeks she's still on size 1s but no other brand comes up high enough at the back but size 2s are huge on her everywhere.
Another here for Rascals. We had family buy diapers and wipes for the gender reveal so we got to try all kinds of different brands for free when our son was born. Pampers just feel cheap and sagged when he had the smallest tinkle, Walmart brand is just 🤮 but have been a saving grace when we’re short on cash. Huggies are second IMO but nothing compares to how well rascals fit my boy.
I second the Rascals! I’ve tried Huggies, Pampers Swaddlers, Parents Choice, Honest, and Luvs for our 6 week old. Pampers and Rascals are hands down the best but Rascals are softer and fit better while also being more adjustable since he’s in between newborn and size 1 right now (he was born 6lbs 4oz). I’ve had no blowouts with the rascals and they’re crazy absorbent.
Rascals is my favorite too!! They fit my long skinny baby very well (has to bring the straps pretty close together is all), they were so soft, and absorbed everything so well!!! They also felt dry to the touch whenever my baby peed
Unlike most people, I actually really like the new Kirkland’s diapers. They fit my baby really well (long and lean).
I also like Millie moon. They’re super soft, but the sticky part that attaches to the front of the waist sometimes folds in and sticks to itself when I try to secure it, which is only a minor annoyance, but still annoying.
Coterie are my absolute favorite. They’re sooo soft and I feel like they provide really full coverage. But unfortunately I can’t afford to exclusively use those.
I don’t think there is any one brand that’s best because it depends so much on what fits you baby’s body shape the best and how their skin reacts. Try a few of the most mentioned ones on here. Buy small packs at a time so you’re not stuck with a ton of one kind that you end up not liking, and also to avoid them outgrowing them before you get a chance to use them all!
This is solid advice and pretty much what I was planning on doing. As of right now I've just done the Huggies and Pampers and my fave between the two is the Huggies. Not a large enough sample set to be sure. The main store I grocery shop at primarily sells Huggies, pampers and honest. I don't often go to Target and I never shop at Walmart. Costco and Sam's club are too far a drive to go out of the way for diapers. I'm willing to shop at target and Walmart for diapers if the brand is really good and I like it. I might stop in there and get a few small packs of each of the ones mentioned here and see what works best.
After Huggies worked and got rid of the rash we refuse to try anything else lol. Her poor booty was sooooo bad from like right after birth until like 2 months I think then we realized to try a different brand and within like 2 days it started improving.
Huggies!
My girl got pampers in the hospital and got a wicked rash from them. I also feel like they never fit that great. Huggies seem to be perfect.
My son also got terrible diaper rash in Pampers until I switched him to Huggies. My little guy is a chunk and I found the legs on pampers to be too tight for him even in the right size.
Huggies fit my baby the best. Unfortunately, the little purple tab started rubbing her legs raw when she started crawling. So we had to switch. I went through a lot of different brands and eventually landed on Dyper! They fit so well, they’re soft, I like that they have no design as the designs always show through white clothing
Once Kirkland switched, Huggies!
Same here! Started with Huggies and he leaked through every single time. Switched to Millie Moon and no issues now.
best diaper for baby
Key Considerations for Choosing the Best Diaper:
Absorbency: Look for diapers that offer high absorbency to keep your baby dry for longer periods. Brands with multiple layers or gel technology often perform better.
Fit and Comfort: A good fit is crucial to prevent leaks and ensure comfort. Check for stretchy waistbands and leg cuffs that adapt to your baby's movements.
Material: Choose diapers made from soft, breathable materials to reduce the risk of diaper rash. Hypoallergenic options are ideal for sensitive skin.
Size Range: Ensure the diaper brand offers a wide range of sizes to accommodate your growing baby. Proper sizing is key to preventing leaks.
Eco-Friendliness: If you're environmentally conscious, consider biodegradable or cloth diaper options that are more sustainable.
Recommendations:
Pampers Swaddlers: Known for their softness and excellent absorbency, they are a favorite among many parents for newborns and infants.
Huggies Little Snugglers: These diapers provide a great fit and are designed to keep moisture away from the skin, making them a good choice for sensitive skin.
Bambo Nature: If you're looking for eco-friendly options, these diapers are made from sustainable materials and are free from harmful chemicals.
Cloth Diapers: For a reusable option, consider brands like BumGenius or Thirsties, which offer good absorbency and are environmentally friendly.
Ultimately, the best diaper may vary based on your baby's needs and your preferences, so it might be worth trying a few different brands to see which works best for you and your baby.
