Popular Fantasy Titles
Several fantasy manhwa have gained popularity and are recommended across various discussions. "Tower of God" is frequently mentioned for its massive world-building and extensive character development [1:1]
[3:2]. Another notable title is "Kubera," which combines adventure, comedy, fantasy, mystery, and romance
[3:3]. These series are praised for their engaging plots and well-developed characters.
Finished Series
For those looking for completed fantasy series, "Her Summon" is a recommended choice [2:1]
[5:5]. This series is noted for its captivating storyline and impressive art style, making it a favorite among readers who prefer finished works.
Unique Art Styles
Art style can be a significant factor in choosing a manhwa. "Skeleton Soldier Couldn't Protect the Dungeon" is recognized for its unique artistic approach [5:1]. Additionally, "Her Summon" is repeatedly highlighted for its exceptional artwork
[5:5].
Non-OP Protagonists
If you prefer stories where the protagonist faces challenges rather than being overwhelmingly powerful, consider titles like "Infinite Level Up In Murim" and "Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint" [4:1]. These series offer complex power systems and protagonists who must navigate difficulties, providing a refreshing change from typical OP narratives.
Additional Recommendations
Other fantasy manhwa worth exploring include "The Lazy Lord Masters the Sword" for its character development and subtle romance [1:1], and "Strongest Florist" for its comedic elements within a fantasy setting
[3:1]. For those interested in newer releases, "Dagger to the Heart" offers stunning visuals and an intriguing plot
[1:2].
I've read many webtoons but found that my taste gravitates to fantasy - but have been struggling to find more good ones. Here's some I enjoyed: -Marionetta -Sable Curse -Suitor Armour -Of Swamp and Sea -Vampire Librarian -Punderworld -After Dark
I don't really mind the art style but don't like the types that usually have 'Empress, Reincarnated, Villainess, The Duke, Countess, Remarried' those sort of ones.
Don't mind romance as long as it isn't the whole plot, and I don't really like drawn out plots either that just drag on and on with filler episodes.
I'd like to add Dagger to the Heart. It's new, but gorgeous nonetheless.
try something like The greatest estate developer or dungeon reset to see if you like it
Honestly these are the ones I like 👍🏻
The lazy lord masters the sword : good character development and story also bit of cute romance a bit further in the story.
The stellar swordmaster : character development
The dark lord's confession : romance ,drama ,action and fantasy and gorgeous art
Tower of God : massive world lots of characters and lots of chapters 650ch and waiting for next season
The top dungeon farmer: lots of healing and cuteness
Hey, I'm quite new to the manhwa world, but I've read a few things here and there.
Fantasy is my favorite genre, and there are so many fantasy series in the manhwa, but most of it is just cheap slop. The good series, at least those that I find, are always still serializing. Are there any well-written fantasy series that are also finished?
Fork & Knife.
Her summon
Can anyone recommend me some fantasy manhwa? I accept any quality, as long as it's not really sh*tty. The more the merrier please. Thank you.

I've read it already, nice story
Strongest florist... (more comedy but still great)
I'm gonna admit, I've red a decent amount of fantasy manhwa and manga (though a lot more manga), so I know an OP gigachad of a protagonist is a staple of the series, but it gets boring after a while. Especially the million regression manhwas where the protagonist regains all their powers from their previous life. Most fantasy and litRPG manhwa have an interesting power system, but I actually want the MC to have a challenge and struggle on their journey. But of course, OP reincarnated MC with endgame stats is what's popular so that's hard to find something like that.
I'd take any fantasy manhwa where the MC isn't the greatest thing since the hero and demon king. Something similar to a shounen manga where the villains actually push them to their limits. Character development along the way is welcome.

The order is a mess and the choices are even worse. Just take a look at Her Summon
Her Summon this Her Summon that, might summon her summon here
It might make you open your eyes for once. By your knowledge of manhwa, I'm surprised you didn't put solo levelling on the list.
No ordeal, barbarian quest and her summon?
omg, why are they not there?🙀
Did you read northern blade?
Where is her summon ?
Lloyd is art
Art is good
Lloyd = good
The greatest estate developer art style is generic
Nah bro, you just have a bad eye for art.
Você é insano
Never cook again 🙌
I've started discovering manhwa recently and so far I've read:
Wondering if there's something similar and equally interesting to read. Preferably with a decent chunk of chapters to go through.
If you think there's something amazing to check out even if it's not that similar to the ones I've read, that's fine too. I really like unusual worlds and works that subvert the good ol' tropes in the genre.
Thanks in advance!
SSS class suicide hunter, sword king in a fantasy world, beginning after the end, second life ranker are pretty good imo

i still have around 2 months left of summer break and i’m gonna go crazy soon if i don’t have anything decent to read.
i hate doom scrolling in tiktok every day while waiting for updates. i need recommendations asap pls
anything in the fantasy genre with no romance. (but if the romance is like sss-class suicide hunter its ok) it just needs to have good art in general. i hate the ones that its obvious they copy-pasted a generic background and just added their characters there. ruins the whole manhwa for me imo.
anything will do please help
Greatest estate developer. I guess there’s bromance and it starts off fairly unassuming. But it turns into a truly hilarious manhwa. As well as ember knight, very cool fantasy without any romance
greatest estate developer is goated. i recently started on the novel. i’ll be checking out ember knight, thank you bro
I don’t know if I can speak for everyone—but when I started reaching this point I got introduced to light novels/novels in general, maybe try those out if you really run out of manhwa to read
Not saying it’s a ‘last ditch effort’, just many people dont like them because there isn’t any art/visuals, but I personally think novels have just totally expanded my reading list!
i actually started with novels before i got introduced to manhwas! my all time faves r reverend insanity, lord of the mysteries, and omniscient readers viewpoint lol i stopped after i found there was a manhwa adaptation for orv and just continued reading manhwas..
Well it you’re ever interested here are some novel recs: -My house of horrors -The perfect run -I became a god in a horror game (fyi, bl) -Count’s youngest son is a warlock -How to survive as the second son of a mage family
i’ve already read most of these, but some titles are new to me. specifically ending maker, what happens in the dungeon, lilith’s cord, trinity wonder, and sword sheath child. i’ll be checking these out thank you bro
liliths cord is a pornwha no nooo
just checked it out and saw it already has around 200+ chapters. got anything to say about it before i lock in?
My top 3 are Dungeon Odyssey, the 31st Piece Overturns the Board, and Moon Slayer
yo i just recently finished the 31st piece overturns the board. that shit was good GOOD. i’ll be checking out the other two. thanks bro
dungeon slayer too goated
Anything goes! Isekais, High-staked, Low-staked, SoL, etc! I just wanna watch something that matches the vibes of these three!
Watch Mushoku Tensei if you haven’t yet! Really great isekai filled with action and character development. I honestly found it more enjoyable than Frieren!
I've watched it already sadly :(
I really like the prologue(before the teleport disaster) and haven't seen something that matches it yet.
Record of the Lodoss war. It aged very well. It's a high-fantasy story. And the opening is very memorable...
Thanks, I'll check it out!
If you liked Delicious in Dungeon then you should check out Campfire Cooking in Another World with My Absurd Skill and Restaurant to Another World.
Watched both of them sadly :( but TY nonetheless!
Maquia
Whoa looks good! This is exactly the kind of vibe I've been looking for! TYSM!
Yup! Welcome also it has a very beautiful and heartwrenching story
Rising of the shield hero (season 2 is kinda mid but season 3 gets better again)
Konosuba (it’s mainly a parody on isekais but it’s very fun and has good comedy)
Inuyasha (the 🐐)
I was banished from the hero’s party… (long name, should find it tho)
Watched all of them except Inuyasha :(
As stated in the title, I'm looking for suggestions for manhwas were the world is not you average
I recently watched Avatar again and thought "I don't even know how much I would like a manhwa with a setting like that", and so here I am.
Thank you in advance for your time, kind internet strangers
Titles suggested (for future searches of others):

Best fantasy manhwa
Key Considerations for Choosing the Best Fantasy Manhwa:
Art Style: Look for manhwa with a captivating and unique art style that enhances the storytelling. Visual appeal can significantly impact your reading experience.
Story Depth: Consider the complexity of the plot and character development. A well-crafted story with rich world-building often makes for a more engaging read.
Genre Blend: Many fantasy manhwa incorporate elements from other genres (romance, action, adventure). Think about what additional themes you enjoy.
Popularity and Reviews: Check community ratings and reviews on platforms like Webtoon or Tapas to gauge what others find compelling.
Ongoing vs. Completed: Decide if you prefer to read ongoing series or completed ones. Ongoing series may leave you waiting for updates, while completed ones allow for binge-reading.
