TL;DR
Popular Free Streaming Sites
Several sites are frequently recommended across discussions for streaming anime. Animixplay.to is highlighted for being ad-free and providing a smooth viewing experience [1:2]. Aniwave.to, previously known as 9anime, offers high-quality streams but has many ads, making it less favorable for some users
[2:2],
[2:4]. Animeflix.io is noted for its Netflix-like interface, autoplay features, and upcoming MAL integration
[4:1],
[4:6].
New and Upcoming Platforms
Animesogo.to is a new platform that aims to provide a hassle-free streaming experience with easy accessibility and direct download buttons for different resolutions [3:2]. Another newcomer, Anime-stream.io, offers free streaming without login requirements, although it does have two popups per stream
[5].
Quality and Accessibility Concerns
While Twist.moe is praised for being ad-free and offering high-quality 1080p videos, it can be slow at times, especially when skipping parts of an episode [4:2]. Some users prefer WonderfulSubs for its clean interface, although it occasionally lacks the most recent episodes
[4:12].
Security and Ads
Security concerns are prevalent among users, with some sites triggering antivirus alerts. It's advised to use ad blockers or VPNs to enhance security while browsing these sites [2:7],
[4:11]. Additionally, Anime-stream.io has faced criticism for riskware alerts
[5:4], highlighting the importance of caution when using free streaming platforms.
Overall, while there are several free anime streaming sites available, each comes with its own set of advantages and drawbacks. Users should consider factors such as video quality, ads, accessibility, and security when choosing a platform.
Looking for anything that updates regularly. i was using Gogoanime.co but today it said it was harmful. I mainly watch things in dub but if i have to watch it in sub then i will
Any recommendations are helpful
animixplay.to free and no ads
Thanks bro u just gave me a virus lol
how did that happen lol
zoro.to
OMG dude this site is amazing since they removed bleach from crunchyroll. Cheers my guy you da real MVP
Is this one still any good? I've been looking for a site to watch anime on but some that have been recommended to me lately after research says that they give your phone a virus.
Saved my ass this website
Wanna check out www.animenoob.com
Any updates most are blocked now
For some really high quality shows like Frieren and Jujutsu, I depend on highest video qualities available on Nyaa.
For other normal animes, I just prefer to stream it where I can find the best quality and subs.
So my question is, Which site is the overall best right now which offers highest quality ( closest to nyaa quality) and the best subtitles?
I initially used animixplay and really liked it but it got shut down. Then I shifted to tenshi/marin but it also seems to have gone down. Now I am mostly using aniwatch. It is good but I have a preference for hard subs which were there on animix and tenshi rather than the soft subs on aniwatch. Also, video quality seems a little inferior on aniwatch when compared to those two.
So, please let me know if there are any websites which match the above mentioned criteria and provide the best experience possible.
Aniwave was my go to website. It was previously known as 9anime but rebranded, I hate it now with the amount of ads there are. I'm now using aniwatch and like it a lot better, thank you.
Just use ad blockers lol. And hianime curtently or zoro in the past or aniwatch has the same amount of adds, but its worse than aniwave because new episodes often have subs with wrong timing because of soft sub. Aniwave often is down but has got better quality. Overall both of them were top tier but got worse with time
Aniwave keeps buffering idk what whats wrong and aniwatch is always down. Do you have any other sites you can recommend that uploads fast?
If on PC, Miru. If TV, Kodi with Otaku
Animeflix?
I goto Aniwave see it's dead and come back to find a new site and see you edited a 10 month old comment 15 mins ago saying its dead lol funny timing, wonder how many people are revisiting this thread right now
I'm so sad the wbsite is done... it was such a good and clean site for anime...
js found i decent one its HiAnime
I found a few websites, none of them have the anime 'Monster' , no idea why. I wanna watch MONSTER!!!
I use kaguya(dot)app, it has crunchyroll server quality.
Gendous anime music is my old go to, haven't used it in a long time but the site is still up
Hey fellow anime watchers, I wanted to take a moment to share something we’ve been working on – a brand new anime streaming site called Animesogo.to, built with care for all the anime fellows out there looking for a consistent and hassle-free experience.
We know how frustrating it’s been lately – sites going down, constant popups, broken episodes, and unreliable updates. That’s why we created Animesogo: to bring back smooth and reliable anime streaming for everyone who just wants to relax and watch.
Why Animesogo?
-Always Updated: New episodes are added regularly, often within hours of release.
-Simple UI: No clutter. Just search, click, and play. Whether you're tech-savvy or not, the experience is smooth and intuitive.
-Extra Features: Includes watch history, bookmarks, auto-next episode, Anilist sync, and more features we’re constantly improving.
If you’ve been searching for a clean, fast, and consistent anime site, we’d love for you to give Animesogo.to a try.
Your feedback and support will help us grow and improve. Feel free to share it with your fellow anime lovers, and don’t forget to bookmark us if you like the experience!
Thanks for reading...
I just explored the site , it was really great 💥
Easy accessible like AniMixPlay.
Direct download buttons for each resolution Like Gogoanime/ Anitaku
Anime-Stream.io = better
How are you gonna upkeep it, donations?
yeah that was my thinking as well. It's a great site but must cost a lot
Download option ?
This is a great website. Feels like gogo Anime but much better. This would be awesome to have as an extension in mangayomi-extensions or any other anime watching app. Thank you for creating this website. I hope it continues to be great.
The article is really well written, and I liked reading it.
The only thing that bothers me is the websites you chose to display there. They're definitely the most popular, but they're not the greatest by FAR.
Twist.moe is completely ad-free and hosts 1080p videos.
Animeflix.io looks just like netflix, has auto-play features and can keep track of what you watched. Even MAL integration will come soon.
I think more people need to realize how big of a step back these big sites took, and need to migrate to better sites.
I love Twist.moe but the site can be insanely slow sometimes, especially when trying to skip to a certain part of an episode.
There's a new website called WonderfulSubs. I don't know how much content it's got but so far from my use I can't fault it at all.
Thanks for Animeflix thought I'll check it out.
It can be really slow, yeah.
WS is a really new website still in BETA, but it's worth checking out from time to time.
Animeflix is by far my favorite anime site, in terms of library and features!
Wonderfulsubs is pretty great, but I noticed sometimes the quality isn't up to par or that they don't have the most recent episode. I'm sure it'll get better with time though. I still prominently use WS
thanks for the animeflix alternative for twist.
I love twist and been using it for a long time now but when it comes to new episodes coming out they usually buffer a very long time (assuming a lot of people are trying to watch it as well)
Now that I just used animeflix the quality is almost if not on par with twist and has no buffering. Thanks man
Never heard of animeflix. Just took a look and love it.
You’re a fucking saint for recommending animeflix! I was using kissanime for the longest but I had my last straw. Thank you man
Animepahe.com is a really good one too
isn't https://ww3.anistream.xyz/ a good one as well
Hey guys not a huge pro about security measures I have to take on these websites do you guys use a vpn for animeflix or not ?

Yeah I don't think so my anti virus detected riskware
anti virus are like the scummiest software in existence they literally flag anything that isn't backed by a giant cooperation
No they aren't I use several other streaming sites while using the same browser guard and I never get any alerts for riskware on them
What av did you use and what did it say exactly?
Please add batch download feature! That would really be great!
Nope, all kinds of alarms going off on my end for instability. Keep working.
Can u please add a batch download feature PLEASE!!!!!! 🙏🥺
4th alt, you guys sure try hard
what the fuck are you talking about, not a single account of that is an alt xD
Why would I need that link did you not understand my comment? My browser guard detected riskware on YOUR site and blocked it
what the fuck are you talking about, not a single account of that is an alt xD
Are u the people who made gogoanime??🤨
I’ve tried Funimation, 9anime, KissAnime etc. And literally NOTHING worked. I’ve tried Crunchyroll, but you need premium and I’m broke af. So pls, help me 🙏🏻
that doesnt exist.you either get ads, or you get illegal sites.
(edit: or both 💀)
Aren't most sites that have everything for free illegal?
*All
Yes
2 of the 4 that you listed are illegal, also free and legal doesn't mesh well
just use adblocker. It’s the best thing I’ve ever used and it’s free
Try Aniwatch.to, it's the new version of zoro.to and the best part is if you had an account for zoro.to, all your previously watched anime will be added in the continue section
i need a website that will run smooth, its ok if the quality drops but i dont want it to be stuck, lag or buffer. if there are ads, its ok. if it has 2x player, that will also be good.
aniwatch(dot)me is pretty good , though you need account
animeultima ,9anime and gogoanime are also great option for streams
> i dont want it to be stuck, lag or buffer.
Get a better internet connection. Most streaming sites are hosted on beefy servers with gigabit connections so it's almost never their fault. Try using aniwatch, 9anime and anime twist. If these lag for you, it means your connection can't handle it
I believe 9anime is down.
9 anime is working for me.
No it isn't. Official mirrors of 9anime (.ru, .to etc.) are all up. You might have tried to access one of the fakes(.xyz, .vip are fakes)
hmm ight thanks
I can't seem to find any good free anime sites and was wondering if anyone would be able to give me some recommendations? Would be much appreciated
Zoro.to
AniMixPlay
Best one
This ^^^^
God bless you
BilliBilli
Wco.tv just started making ppl pay for their website so now i can no longer watch anime RIP.
What websites do u guys use?
There are still many websites to watch anime for free. But all sites are not good because it has few ads and Pop-ups. So, I am using aniwatch.to because it has very low ads on their websites. If you want to know other websites then, I will suggest you can also check the list of best anime sites on the internet. All these websites are secure and reliable for streaming anime show.
when i tried to use aniwatch.to it wouldn't even let me type in animes it would continuously redirect me to a "ad-crusher"
YOU ARE A GOD IN MY EYES!! I used to use aniwatch to watch ever anime and then it shut down. i saw the suggestion for aniwatch and i thought the comment was old, saw it was posted recently now i’m screaming and i’m so happy that i get to watch the anime like i used to tyyyy
yea it completely stopped now , they changed it aniwatchtv.to a few weeks back, but now its completely gone from the face of the earth so...
thats where i see my anime but i use brave browser and i dont get any ads it blocks them. its pretty good.
aniwatch.to
It has very few ads compared to other sites.
Yes but it changed to hianime.to
aniwatch.to
that one gave me a trojan don't do it.
Aniwave literally just got taken down
Aniwave has to many ads now plus they are so behind on their uploading
animeflix.live
if you have an android phone you could download aniyomi (it’s an anime loader, you can load anime from both paid services and through other places).
if you’re on computer, use an adblocker (ublock origin is best). i don’t think i can link you anywhere on here due to the subs rules but there’s a subreddit dedicated to anime piracy
If you're looking for an anime streaming website with a clean, minimalist design like Gogoanime or Animixplay, but packed with awesome features, super-fast loading, no buffering, and zero ads, then https://anigo.to is the perfect spot for you!
URL: https://anigo.to
Here are some highlights of the site that we hope you'll love:
We’d love to hear your feedback to make the site even better in future updates. Thanks so much!
Lmao, just an Animekai scraper. I would use this site if it wasn’t for the AnimeKai watermarks too
You know a better site without watermarks?
Or maybe its the sister site of animekai
Animekai with different skin👏
Animekai doesn't have subs in Spanish xd I would prefer this one in my case. If you watch it with english subtitles maybe its the same XD
animekai alt website i think
if you want to be similar to animixplay at least use the same player https://plyr.io/ 🥀
Bros account got suspended
That's what occurs when people spam Reddit now because shadow bans aren't an effective punishment due to how easily it can be appealed.
No, the OP is in fact shadowbanned.
A ban would say as much, a shadowban just leads to 'page does not exist'.
I WAS LOOKING FOR EZACTLY THIS THANK YOUUUUUU FOR THIS POSTTTT

best free anime streaming sites
Key Considerations for Free Anime Streaming Sites:
Legality: Ensure the site is legal to avoid copyright issues. Many free sites operate in a gray area, so it's best to choose reputable ones.
Content Library: Look for sites that offer a wide variety of anime, including popular titles and classics, as well as subbed and dubbed options.
User Experience: Consider the site's interface, ease of navigation, and whether it has features like search filters and watchlists.
Ad Experience: Free sites often have ads. Check user reviews to find out if the ads are intrusive or manageable.
Streaming Quality: Look for sites that offer high-definition streaming options for a better viewing experience.
Recommended Free Anime Streaming Sites:
Crunchyroll: Offers a large selection of anime, including simulcasts. The free version has ads but is legal and reliable.
Funimation: Great for dubbed anime, with a decent selection available for free with ads.
Anime-Planet: A legal site that partners with Crunchyroll and offers a variety of anime titles along with user-generated content.
Tubi TV: Provides a selection of anime for free with ads, featuring a mix of popular and lesser-known titles.
HiDive: Offers a free trial and a selection of anime, though the free content may be limited compared to the subscription service.
Takeaway: For the best balance of legality, content, and user experience, Crunchyroll and Funimation are highly recommended. They provide a vast library of anime while ensuring a legal viewing experience.
