Our local library offers Kanopy for free to card holders. I love the variety of documentaries on there.
kanopy via the library is my favourite streaming service. My library gets me 6 films a month. Check out fathers of sons if you get a chance
Hi,
Thanks for contributing to r/Documentaries. Unfortunately, your post was removed because it either does not qualify as a documentary or links to a paid streaming service, which can only be posted on Mondays.

I don’t see anything in the megathread about documentaries. Where should one watch those?
You can sub to /r/Documentaries as they post multiple times a day with links to new and interesting docs, often time direct from the source, and always free to watch.
can’t find nat geos documentaries there
I understand why you have the leecher tag, cause you don't know how to do anything yourself.
It's amazing what happens when you actually search.
lookmovie with a workaround to get 1080p for free without paying for premium for more recent stuff that's been uploaded but fyi some may be missing so you would need some other source
You have to pm me for that workaround only if your interested because I'm not sharing this publically

Youtube. I'm not joking.
I’m on a doc kick. Just finished the Max doc on Angel City FC. Was great. Looking for some other ones - doesn’t have to be sports related.
I love documentaries. PBS is always a guaranteed choice. Netflix has some great docuseries too, Cheer, Chimp Empire, Drive to Survive, Wild Wild Country, Keep Sweet to name a few.
Netflix. You can hate them, but you can't ignore they easily have the biggest catalog of everything, including crime documentaries
I highly recommend The Woman Who Wasn’t There, available on Prime.
What a story of deception!! WOW!
Here's a different true story of deception:
I knew a family where the mother was diagnosed with Munchausen Syndrome. She compromised her little girl's health for attention and fame. It was so hard for me to believe that she was capable of that because she was such a loving and kind person and her husband stood behind her.
Another one:
A nurse at a hospital in West Virginia was convicted of killing patients. Why? The nurse wanted the fame of being the hero to swoop in and save the patient. It didn't always work.
Pluto TV has a really solid doc section, and it’s free.
came here to suggest this as well
school movies for free?? you'd have to pay me to learn something on purpose!
It's called YouTube.
What?😅
PBS Documentaries and YouTube
Thanks🩶

It's legit and free with your local library card
Anyone know a site for Hard To Find movies?? I've been looking for a movie called, The Unseen (2005) for years! It features actors Gale Harold & Steve Harris and it's a Great movie! With such an Important Topic in it's twist at the end, this movie most definitely should be shown Often, however, they've very Obviously completely removed it out of circulation SMDH.. It truly goes to show us ALL exactly what "kind of people" Actually control what we SEE.. and Don't. iykyk
Same here! Looking for obscure and large foreign language selection!! I watch lots of French, German, Swedish movies and would love to find a site that includes all the new stuff from those countries
Movie Universe does have a good selection of more obscure films but its hit or miss if its going to work or not 😭 The pop ups are minimal tho and really easy to block So its good for everything else just doesn't always have what I'm looking for. Specifically I'm looking for the swedish show ONDSKAN/Evil and cant find anywhere to watch it (im in US)
Movie Universe
Thanks you man, I was so upset because literally all the others sites servers buffer were super slow to me, but yours is perfect.
The Unseen (2005)
Couldn't find it in those sites, maybe try torrent.
hdtoday.tv
Your welcome, I’ve been using it for months now no problem. No BS viruses or anything, might get a few pop ups tho.
Bad reccommendation. that site doesn’t release the movie until it’s basically available for purchase
do you have any good sites?
I was using it too but recently all its servers went down. Don't know why
Is it Tubi? I know they're free, with ads I think but yeah, free and they have a huge library. Might try there.
Bflix. SX
What’s bigger gigabyte or begabyte
123 movies or putlockers are the best sites, but you can also find any movie if you're in the right Telegram groups.
KissCartoons, under the 123movies section.
YouTube, there are a lot of 1950’s movie on there
Thank you
