Like the comment above there is somewhat of a Metal scene around here. I personally enjoy listening to Deathcore metal (Whitechapel, Lorna shore etc Chelsea grin). Other than that you have your regeneration music scene (Bad bunny, Anueal AA and Karol G). They’ll usually have metal concerts (or concerts of the same nature) at the Revolution live theatre in Fort Lauderdale.

Pretty much everything. The dominant genres in nightlife are house and reggaeton.

I personally like jazz clubs, which unfortunately there aren’t enough of.

Follow equinox booking on insta, they advertise and host hardcore, punk, goth, and emo shows. There's more booking groups and bands you can follow from there.

I think 1 in 4 people here are trying to make it as a DJ playing house music or edm

Dude I would imagine you need a car to get around from venue to venue. Why don't you at least tell us what area you live in?

If you live by the Wynwood area/ mid town area, you might want to go to Roots Miami on Wednesday nights. They have a huge open mic show . A lot of young people go there, so you might want to stop by for some exposure.

Miami Beach is generally a safe town. Just follow regular big city rules and you will be fine. And watch out for parking signs. The tow trucks will get your car in a heartbeat.

Multi level parking across the street for easy parking. Then you have Lincoln road to walk and eat or drink before the show.

Very safe. Parking might be difficult to find. Look for parking garages.

It’s race week so plan for extra traffic and travelers. Was just there - lots of extra construction too on Collins Avenue.

I live on Miami Beach - it’s a wonderful area, can get busy weekend nights but you’ll be safe and have a nice time!

I have seen them twice now in the last 4 years at a small venue in Indiana. I am 51 years old and was also concerned as I had been to a concert since I was younger. The vibe in Indy was GREAT. A lot of older people, no drama or crazy drunk people (although a few were noticeably stoned) 😂. They are great live and had a blast both times. Was disappointed they aren't coming back to Indy this year.

Definitely go. I highly doubt you would be disappointed. It was a very chill crowd.

I can’t recommend you go enough. These guys put on one hell of a show. Honestly, one of the best concerts I’ve ever seen in my life and I’ve seen them four or five times now.

Stay at the courtyard in coconut grove. Walk across the street to Montys for dinner on the bay. Walk a few more blocks to shopping, there is also a books and books. This is the real Miami, enjoy!

Off the top of my head— Hornets play the Heat tonight at the Kaseya center. You could go there and check out bayside after. Might be a little dead on a Monday night, but it's something.

You could also try just driving around the beach, even though the weather is kindof nasty rn.

Hard Rock Casino might be a fun place to kill a few hours, though it might be out of your way.

If you wanna be low key, check out Books & Books in Coral Gables, they might have an author speaking.
