Considerations Beyond the Discussions
When visiting these rooftop bars, consider making reservations, especially during peak times or events like Ultra weekend. Additionally, check if there are any age restrictions or dress codes to ensure a smooth experience.
I wanted to see if anyone had any good rooftop bars to have a small celebration with my family. Any ideas are welcome.
New place Astra in wynwood is terrific
depends on time of day. been there a couple of times during the day and it's hard to find shade near the bar area.
Oh, I’m definitely talking night. The lighting and atmosphere is very sexy at night
Sugar in brickell but pricey
Upper buena vista
What place?
Guessing he's talking about Vista. It's a nice spot, good for locals.
How old is your family? Are we talking like kids or elderly?
There aren’t my kids and they’re mostly in their 50’s
If you're in Wynwood, No. 3 Social for a laid back feel
Looking for an upscale rooftop bar where you can get a great view.
Not rooftop (open air), but has a nice view and the drinks and food is great:
Astra in wynwood
Terras is chill, has great music and beautiful views.
Sugar
But hands down the most absurdly priced. Go early on weekends to avoid long wait
It’s offensively priced, but so nice!!!!
Their valet smoked weed in my car
Juvia. It’s on the rooftop off Lincoln rd. Fantastic views of Miami. It’s also a great restaurant
Where can you go to have a drink and enjoy the view without having dinner? Can you do that at Watr or Sugar? Anywhere else?
Recently went to the Rooftop Cinema in South Beach and saw the most amazing sunset. Turns out you can go to their rooftop bar anytime even if you don’t have tickets to see a movie. There’s games on every table, a full bar, and a pizza & popcorn stand.
Just checked it out. That seems pretty cool and low key. Did you go to a movie there or just show up to hang out?
My finance and I saw shrek lol but we got there early and hung out for a while before the movie
Serena Rooftop in Miami Beach
This pretty new upscale place opened up in Wynnwood called Fabel that's worth checking out as well (Mila vibes)
Rosa Sky
>Rosa Sky
Wow looks gorgeous. Already planning a visit in my head. Just need to gather some friends.
Went recently. It’s absolutely gorgeous.
Thanks. Looks pretty cool. I might check it out.
check out this list Best Roof Top Bars Miami
Thank you. That’s very helpful
I'm new to the area and checked out yelp but I'd rather check out the kind of places a local goes to which is hard to determine from yelp. Looking in the downtown miami or maybe south beach area.
Any suggestions?
Edit: Sorry if I posted in the wrong place I just saw the plethora of other Miami subreddits lol
In all of south Florida, the 1 hotel south beach rooftop is the best. Easily. However they are not open to the public till 6 or 7pm. Call beforehand to find out.
Sugar in downtown is aight but it has high walls so you can barely see anything and the space is very small compared to the 1 hotel. This place is extremely popular/ always super packed long waits at the bar.
There is a new rooftop in wynwood called “No. 3 social” and it has an awesome, inclusive vibe. Much more down to earth and affordable than the previous options. Pretty sweet view of edgewater aswell.
You must be 3 feet tall because Sugar doesn't have high walls.
Awesome, thank you for that detailed answer!
Mikes at Venetia is a sneaky option.
+1 for Mike's. Not what you usually think of when you think rooftop bar. Def a hidden gem.
Area 31 at the Epic. Great view
Awesome thank you!
It's also got a chase the clock happy hour on Fridays. Price of drinks is the hour, up until midnight. Starts at 5 ($5).
Sugar I think also does this, but it's $1 more
Sugar at east
Awesome thanks you!
Juvia on Lincoln Road has awesome views, but its not cheap. I used to go to Club 50 in Brickell when I lived there years ago, on top of the Icon tower. Think its called Wet Deck now, but had really cool city views. There's a meh newer one in Wynwood called No. 3 Social, but its only like two stories up, so you just see people walking around Wynwood.
Awesome thanks!
Hello everyone, first time in Miami for me. Coming from Montreal and I would like to know if you recommand some good rooftops, bars, beachclubs in Miami I should absolutely visit (for the view, cocktails,...). Thank you and can't wait to meet y'all in 2 weeks 😬
I got a reservation at Sugar Wednesday night to follow up a nice fancy dinner. I love having a normal vacation routine before and after Ultra weekend
Hey, how was Sugar and do you recommend it?
I thought it was really nice and great if you have a group/your partner with you. We had to opt out of the reservation and just sit at the bar(got lucky with getting a couple seats around 9pm) since it was just 3 of us and one being pregnant, so it makes it hard to spend the minimum $ per person with someone not able to drink.
Drinks are your usual pricey amount of $22+, views are really nice, but much better if you have a reservation at a table along the outer glass barriers.
I'll probably be there too on wednesday night before Fisher at Space !
Sugar and Rosa sky downtown. However, I’m assuming it’s going to be slammed MMW.
Wow thanks, Sugar is tipically a place I'll be stopping by ! Have 10 days in Miami so plenty of time to visit outside Ultra weekend.
Iove Rosa sky !!!!
I'm interested in this information as well!
Delilah outside terrace in Brickell, Standard hotel bar Lido, Level 6
Hey folks,
I’m looking to take my girlfriend out to a real nice place for our one year anniversary in Miami.
Does anyone have any recommendations for a nice rooftop place overlooking the water with some kick ass seafood?
Thanks in advance!
Not rooftop, but rusty pelican is waterfront
Nice. Thank you!
It’s a bar btw
Rusty pelican has gone to shit. Recommend Juvia
Watr, astra, juvia and I’m a foodie, best spot is la mar (not rooftop but had to recommend)
Sugar and no. 3 social are cool bars
I second all of these.
Good question by OP, interested in nice place to take the misses for anniversary soon and rooftop sounds like a nice option
just looking at reviews and this gem came up giving juvia some bad cred.
https://www.theinfatuation.com/miami/reviews/juvia
Funny enough when I looked it up and saw the address as Miami Beach I almost thought the same... Another trap in South Beach.
Anyways, not bashing it but let us know if you go OP and how it goes.
I went to Juvia last night (I’ve been before). It’s expensive, but it’s still a top restaurant in Miami. The food is outstanding, the atmosphere is very good and the service is great.
The guy complained about $10 sides of mashed and not being able to go up to restaurant without buying something... not sure I can walk into most upscale places and say “I just want to sit here and enjoy the view.”
Either way, I highly recommend it. But again, it’s expensive. Four of us went.. 3 apps, 4 entrees, 3 cocktails and a bottle of wine that was $90. Our bill with tip was $550.
This is on par with La Mar, Osaka, Bazaar and tons of other pricey spots in south Florida, but I can’t give any bad review... just don’t expect to go for under $100.
Hey thanks so much for the review. I might give it a try I've day when I feel like dropping over 100 for dinner :)
Juvia
Is there still any action to be had at the Roof Top Resort in Miami since the pool is being renovated? Wife and I are planning a trip around August 17th.

Are single stags allowed in the hotel? And can they get action there?
Rooftop is in Hollywood Beach.
The pool is strictly nudist and allows ZERO activity.
The playrooms/party area is two floors down
Renovations were slated to only take a month and a half; they may be done by the time you arrive.
the streets are right up ur alley
BOT or looking for OF subscribers, or both. These posts are so low-effort.
Go back home.
We don't wear cowboy boots in Miami go back to Kentucky
Seconded
🤦🏻♂️, please leave
Can anyone recommend any reasonable priced rooftop bars where cocktails aren’t €25 a piece?
Spritzeria Monti and Jacopa Trastevere. Cocktails should be 10-15 euros.
Go to Palazzo Navona Rooftop bar, it's cheaper compared to other places and you can also just order water or a single food item too. Consider the last time I went, we got 1 negroni, 2 bottles of water, 1 pizza and a charcuterie board for 3 people and the total was 56 euro, which is quite cheap compared to other places
Did you walk in or need to make a reservation?
It's best to always make reservations, especially in summer when the weather is nice.
Here's what I would do.
Enjoy! :)
Third link is the same as the first one Thanks anyway
Fixed!
Our hotel Fragrance St Peter had a little rooftop bar open from 6:30pm every night. The views of the Vatican were amazing and cocktails weren’t expensive
Spritzeria monti. Normal prices and is a rooftop.

Shoes and socks in the water. Nice touch.
Lmao it’s a tarpon you gotta keep them in the water. My buddy is holding my rod and snapping a pic up above where I was fishing
Can you explain more why you say you have to keep them in the water? Not to be that guy, but it’s not in the water in your pic.
