TL;DR
PlutoScans
PlutoScans is highly recommended for its large collection of manhwa and manhua, with around 1,500-2,000 titles available. It stands out because it has no ads, although releases might be slightly slower compared to other platforms [1]. Users appreciate the decent image quality across all titles.
Webtoon
Webtoon is another popular choice, especially for those who prefer reading on an app. It offers good quality chapters but includes ads and requires payment for access to the latest chapters [1]. Some users enjoy the free aspect of reading one chapter a day for paywalled series
[3:8].
MangaDex and http://Bato.to
MangaDex is noted for being ad-free and providing a solid reading experience [1]. http://Bato.to is frequently mentioned as a reliable site with a good comment section, which enhances the community feel
[2:4]
[5:3].
Manganato
Manganato is favored for its comprehensive collection, including manga, manhua, manhwa, and borderline H manga. It features a robust tracking system for favorites and read/unread chapters [3:1]. However, some users report issues with redirect ads, particularly on Android devices
[3:11].
Other Notable Mentions
Considerations Beyond the Discussions When choosing a website or app for reading manhwa, consider factors such as user interface, ad presence, update frequency, and community interaction. Apps like Tachiyomi can provide a streamlined experience by aggregating content from multiple sources, potentially reducing the hassle of navigating different websites.
So this is the list of websites where I read manhwa & manhua on in case anyone on here is looking:
PlutoScans :
Best overall, has around 1,500-2,000 manhwa and manhua, has no ads, releases are sometimes a day slower than other apps but that's not problem for me, quality of images is decent or good at all manhwas.
Webtoon:
This one has an app, good quality on all chapters, has ads, and you can't read latest chapters unless you pay with coins.
Manga Dex:
Also solid one, has no ads, but i stopped reading on it because of two main reasons: a lot of times it has a lot of missing chapters/images hence no point reading on it if i have to switch sites all the time otherwise it would be really good.
Ultimamente tá fd, vou tentar a pluto para ver qual é
Thank you! I’ve never tried PlutoScans but will check it out. I read on the paid sites (TenManga for manga, mostly Tapas for manhwa) but they purge older manhwa & manga when the demand for them dies down so I also use Bato, which has old stuff you can’t find anywhere else.
What websites do you guys recommend to read manhwas? I haven’t had that much luck finding a good one, everything I find as soon as I click on something; it opes 1000 new tabs of god knows what. Thank you 🙏🏻
I read on novatoon.com
They add new series everyday and the translation is good (Mostly romance)
mangago.me (create an account otherwise when you click on stuff it will lead to ads)
Use manga/manhwa tracker kenmei
I read most of my manhwas on mangafire, if not bato
I can't wait for Reaper Scans to fix their website issues. They've made great progress but I read like 20 manhwa on their site and I miss them.
EDIT: Reaper Scans is rebuilding their website from the ground up. The website is up and running. You can go to the Reaper Scans website right now and read manhwa.
The website was quite literally just built. It's still missing a lot of UI functionality and polish that we expect from our websites. It didn't even have a search function yesterday, but it has one today. They are working on finishing the website as I type this.
This is not criticism. I just don't want anyone to go to the Reaper Scans website right now and expect it to be a finished product. It's not. It's important to have realistic expectations, but they are making huge amounts of progress and I expect we will have a finished product and a beautiful website very very soon.
My all time fav is Asura. They have a good collection of manhwa and most of them are based on action and good quality. My second choice used to be Reaper but now it's website is messed up. And i don't like all their collections, they feel kinda cheap. Go for Asura and other third party manhwa websites where you can get all the manhwa when searching.
Asura has good translations and manwhas. But the site is really bad for me. Every like 15 seconds all the adds on their site change. This causes the whole site to jump up and down as it resizes. And its constantly. And for some reason the website just randomly reloads sometimes. So i have to find my place again
Asura has been garbage for me. Aside from the screen constantly resizing and the ads that you can't close, I also seem to see rips from bad translators on their site, not very frequently. Only a couple of times. And they don't communicate at all, entire series just suddenly disappearing and what not.
Me using an aggregator site with every manhwa and manga🫶
I use manganato because i kinda like the facebook comment system there but the only problem is too much bots but the community is good there
Don't you get redirect ads on manganato? I get them all the time on Android
I can't see the comments anymore. It was half the fun in Reading Manhuas
I use manganato. I know it's an aggregator site but hear me out. First you have all the manga, manhua, manhwa, pornhwa and borderline H Mangas in one place. Also I use brave so this site never shown me any ads. The comics load faster than the asura/reaper site they aggregate from, and more importantly, their tracking system is best I've seen (which comic is favorite and which chapters are read and unread) Only con is that they are lazy on updating, so sometimes you have to wait few extra days or even a week (2 chapters after 2 weeks) for the update. Which I can ignore since I have 150+ different stories already going on, plus novels so I can wait.
Asura scans tried webtoons too but im broke
Webtoons is free, you just have to read one chapter a day for a paywalled series
Ayy same here🤝I love using one of those since they upload official translations
Pretty much just the title, I recently lost an app that I used to read manhwa and am looking for websites or apps where I can keep up with my favorite manhwa. (To be clear I mean normal manhwa not the other kind).
Honestly, I just use tachiyomi or the site of the scanlator with the best quality for the manhwa I'm reading
Could you link any sites for Omniscient Readers Viewpoint??
Comick.fun this is the best for me ... yall try to read here its really good
1stkiss coffemanga asuracans flamesmanga these 4 are most used or I just serch a title in Google and use any site
Asurascan realmscan and reaperscan
These are the ones I've been mainly using. ask if you got questions
https://manhwatop.com/ This site seems says to be alright although t creator and allows you to bookmark the comics you are interested in and save them in a library, though I'm not sorry if there is a "history" feature as I'm new to using it, UI is easy to navigate and understand with not many "awkward" manhwas being shown on the title screen.
https://vyvymanga.com/ This site is a second backup for a site that got taken down like a month ago (I forgot the name). allows for account creation which would enable bookmarking and a history feature so you can go to the last page you saw of your manhwas, however, the title screen has ALOT of "awkward" covers of various manhwas be warned.
https://ww5.manganelo.tv/home This site seems to be alright although it says there is an account creator I could not find it, that's all I have to say about it.
https://mangabuddy.com/home-page This site is almost the same as site #1 so what I wrote there applies here, but it does have a history feature.
Please, I need some recommendations!
I use manganato because it’s always fun to read previous comments and it allows me to bookmark
Bato.to, I like the comment section there.
I like Bato for manga but it doesn't have the manhwas I want to read
Yeah, that's one of the cons.
Mangadex
I am trying this one out! Thanks!
Hello there, im having a trouble finding the best site, where I can find every manhwa on it and always updated manhwas, not like i find 5 chp on it and 10 somewhere else, can anyone help me?
I already said this and I'll say it again. Please read at the translator's site to support them. Some examples are:
•Asura Scans (the best, no one can argue)
•Reaper Scans (second best but sometimes inconsistent)
•Flame Scans
•Luminous Scans
•MM Scans
•Leviatan Scans
•Immortal Updates Scans
And avoid reading at sites like 1stKissManga because those thief bastards just puts their watermark on top of the original watermark of the translators. Shameless, right?
Ty! 1stKissManga was sus already, that's why I avoided it.
I usually used tachiyomi to read manhwa/manhua because of all the features that available there. My question is does im using specific extension like Asura scans and reaper scans actually support the translator?
I tried to use it, but it's loading slow to me.
Every single one of those groups is shameless for ruining the art with their shitty watermarks. I once counted 45 watermarks in a single asura scans chapter. They can go fuck themselves.
The sites are good no question but they have very limitted library. I'd rather not jump between 7 websites to find the manwha I want
Can also read on webtoons/other official sources to directly support the creator.
I always use this one
Aqua manga
Without Ads, this one has a lot of Ads
yg yeck
I definitely recommend the Radish App, quite a few manhwa comics + Webnovels are on their which are all updated frequently c:
Thanks
Asura, reaper, flamescans, webtoons, and readkomik
I just use manganato😂🤷🏾♂️
Edit: I use mangadex for manga mostly.
I recommend mcreader.net it's got everything for me plus free and a discord chat thats quite active
Does it have all manhwas
Coz, some websites don't share all manhwa
It has everything that you desire aslong as you download the extensions.
like 6 months ago i would've said asura but these days i find myself more on reaper. flame, luminous and alpha are good too.
Reaper scans don't have all manhwas like eleceed, nano machine etc...
Reaper is translating Nano Machine though so they do have that
Does it have English translation cause I don't know Korean 😢
Maybe just maybe but just in case you have the means then go visit legit sites to support the author
Open website view than u will get comment of respective chapters
I am almost up to date with the Manhwa on Webtoon. But I saw that the manhwa is further on some Websites than the Webtoon. So I don't know what I should do now. Should I just stick to reading on Webtoon or should I read it on a Website?if yes which is the best Website to read it on?
Thanks for recommending Flame comics, I was stuck trying to find Manwha, but the sites I use have the same ones I've heard time and time again .but when I loaded up Flame I instantly got something new (it is also very easy to navigate)
yea its really good ,that guy saved me from searching to read
please send me the link for Flame comics
Toongod is good but have a lot of +18
Personally I have the worst experience on Asura, whenever I bookmark a manhwa im reading it gets corrupted and I lose all progress. This isnt even an issue on my web browser because it happened on chrome and firefox. And their bookmarking system built into the website doesn't work at all either
Rn Asura got accounts finally so bookmarks work fine(for now), but they fully delete comments several times on whole site, so if you care about them then kinda sucks
flamecomics.com. It may lag tho and also, use an adblock
Mangamya is reaaally good ! It’s an app tho
I would like to read The Devil Raised a Lady but in French! The last chapter in French is the 40th! So please can you help me find a site to read it in French? And that there is more than chapter 40?
There are many translation tools that can translate into French now. I usually use translation tools to read raw comics.
I think it's like that cus the reviews for the people on the website at the time didn't personally like the work presented to them so they "drop" it to get more people reading other titles.
Depends on the title honestly, Asura and Flame are top 2 for me but they mostly do shounen action type my personal favourite is manhwa-freak though they have both manhwa and manga (not a lot only few but all great title) and if you want to read everything literally any manhwa I suggest zinmanga or mangabat
I know this subreddit has been super helpful for finding good manhua, but I also like looking at the most popular on random sites like mangatx. So I was wondering for anyone who does the same, what sites do you use? The only two I really have used are manhuaus.com and mangatx.com
Mangarockteam, asura, xcaliber, leviathan.
Anime-planet is also used as a reference to find titles, but most of the links there require one to pay for chapters
No.
there are many such websites which translate their own which make it easy to look through a smaller amount on each website. I'll mention a few; Flame scans, Asura scans, leviathan, realmscans, xclaliberscans, manhuaplus, manhuaes, isekaiscans, manhuagreat. these are examples of websites which translate their own, so going to them and looking through what they have can be a great way to find new manhua/manhwa to read
Manhuagreat, manhuaboss, 1stkissmanga and then I use the translators website like xcalibrscans, etc.
Bro why manhuagreat it has the worst translation team they even ruined some manhuas
Yeah that’s true but there is some mangas where you can only read it with subpar translations. Tbh I’m only really bothered by really terrible translations. I’ve cultivated by brains trashlation dao to the saint realm.
Manga cultivator . Realmscans. Isekaiscans. Mangaus.
