TL;DR
Eagle Creek Packing Cubes
Eagle Creek is frequently praised for its quality and functionality. The Pack-It Isolate Clean/Dirty cubes are favored for their lightweight design and separate compartments for clean and dirty clothes [1:1]
[1:6]. Users appreciate the durability, noting that these cubes have held up well over many years of use
[4:4]
[4:12].
Peak Design Packing Cubes
Peak Design packing cubes are another popular choice due to their thoughtful design features such as compression and clean/dirty sides [1:3]
[3:4]. While some users find the sizes awkward
[1:2], others consider them the gold standard for packing cubes, citing superior materials and zippers
[3:3].
Budget-Friendly Options
For those looking for more affordable options, Amazon Basics packing cubes are noted for their durability and practicality despite their lower price point [1:5]
[1:12]. IKEA also offers reliable packing cubes, though they may lack the advanced features of higher-end brands
[4:6].
Compression Features
Compression packing cubes are useful for maximizing space by reducing the volume of packed items. Brands like Thule offer compression cubes with gusseted corners for better shape retention [4:1]. However, some users prefer non-compression cubes for easier organization
[4:8].
Considerations for Purchase
When choosing packing cubes, it's important to consider the dimensions of your luggage to ensure a proper fit [1:4]
[4:7]. Additionally, while some users prioritize aesthetics or brand reputation, practical features like weight savings and ease of cleaning should not be overlooked
[4:10]
[4:11].
What are some of the best packing cubes? Wirecutter says its favorite is the Eagle Creek Pack-It Cube Set:
https://www.nytimes.com/wirecutter/reviews/best-packing-cubes/amp/
I just ordered some tonight. The sides stand up which make them easier to pack and they have a full zipper. Those are 2 features that I want. Can you recommend any other good packing cubes which meet at least these 2 criteria?
Peak design packing cubes are easily my favorite
Having a clean/dirty side and compression are great features
Absolutely this. Very light weight and the clean dirty divider moves as one section gets more filled. I’ve said it before Peak design packing cubes are the best. If only just for the size at 12" width. I have Eagle Creek and Nomatic and other packing cubes and they are all strange sizes. Most bags are 12" wide. If I use eagle Creek I'm at 10" or 14 so either vertical or horizontal there's space on the side. Ugh what am I going to place there?! It’s just more efficient to put it all in the packing cube and have it occupy all that space in the bag efficiently.
And I prefer the Eagle Creek precisely because I find the PD sizes strange! The Eagle Creek fit perfectly for me.
Plus they are so much lighter.
Also a plastic bag is infinitely superior to separate clean/dirty sides in my (long) experience with packing cubes.
>Very light weight
Am I missing something? The PD website lists the small as 110g. That's almost 3x heavier than mine (which is a bit larger too).
Agreed they’re the best by far
The best packing cubes are the cubes that fit the internal dimensions of your bag.
My Amazon Basics cubes still look brand new after 5-6 years on the road. I also have an Eagle Creek cube, but prefer the Amazon, because of the shape, which is more of a cube, while EC has rounded corners on one side. It can also hold more than the EC (which is a similar size).
Yep. Amazon basics do the job for me. Lightweight and full zip, with mesh see through pockets.
Eagle Creek renamed all their stuff recently, but my favorite is what is now called the Pack-It Isolate Clean/Dirty (formally called the Specter Tech). Great size, lightweight, and a secondary compartment for dirty clothes. On sale all the time, so relatively cheap too.
https://www.eaglecreek.com/shop/pack-it-isolate/pack-it-isolate-clean-dirty-cube-ec0a48y6
I also have the Peak Design cubes. While they’re nicely built and designed (basically same features as the Eagle Creek plus an expansion zip), I find the sizes a bit annoying in use. The large one is a perfect square, which makes things awkward to pack inside, and a bit too large for my typical things, which makes the compression feature worthless because of how loose everything is inside. Meanwhile, the smaller one is long and skinny and a bit too small for me. (I can sorta make it work with the small by keeping the expansion zipper open but then the shape is awkward to pack. They really need to make a size in between I think.
Do you own both sizes of the Eagle Creek Pack-It Isolate Clean/Dirty cubes? If so, is the small a decent size? They are having supply issues so most of their stock won’t be available until late November/December and decided to order different styles of the Isolate to see what will work best.
Similar thoughts to you. I don't own anything from the Eagle Creek Isolate line yet, but there's a greater than zero chance that they will replace my Peak Design packing cubes. Weight savings can't be ignored, sadly.
Eagle Creek is the best I’ve had. I have cheapo IKEA ones and a big set off Amazon too, some random but highly rated ones. EC are the best. The Amazon ones are okay. The IKEA ones are flimsy but okay for the price. I have the basic ones from EC and would def get more if/when I upgrade.
I won a couple free packing cubes a while ago for underwear, bras, and socks, and they have been super useful. I want to buy myself some for the rest of my clothes (shirts, pants, dresses, etc) and also a complete set for my husband. What's been a good brand in your experience?
Just buy whatever you find at TJ Maxx/Home Goods/Sierra/etc. They're all the same unless you go with the ultralight ones which I've had nothing but problems with the zippers (and aren't all that much lighter anyways.)
this. and the Dollar store has them too!....compression ones are cool....if you want to repack each cube every time...and it also means you can fit more in... which puts you in more danger of going overweight (smaller volume but weight is the same)
Eagle creek are great.
OK so not the most exciting but any recommendations for packing cubes for a GR1. After something abit different than the usual suspects. If anyone has stumbled upon packing cube greatest then please share....
After trying many others, my go-to is Six Moon Designs 7L cubes. Ultralight. No fancy compression or handles but work better than all the others for me. Nice rectangular shape when full but malleable enough to Tetris in however you need. Different colors to differentiate between them. There is also an XL 14L one and smaller ones but I find 7L best.
I just gave in and bought the Peak Design. I really wanted zipper compressing ones. One large for pants and the like, two small (which aren't that small) for shirts and underwear. I also got the shoe bag while I was ordering.
If I were to buy ultra light variants (not that the PD weigh much of anything) I'd buy these probably https://www.osprey.com/ultralight-packing-cube-set-ulpackcbsets23-489?size=O%2FS&color=Mars+Orange
This. After buying ebags, Amazon, eagle creek, Thule, Evergoods TPC, and GoRuck cubes - I could have saved so much money had I just bought once and cried once. PD are for sure the gold standard, the materials, the zippers and compression is noticeably better.
I've also blown zippers on eagle creek trying to compress which has never happened with PD, Evergoods or GoRuck cubes. They cost more, but much better materials. I'd rank them in that order.
Different cubes will fit different cubes better. I don't have a GR1 so I couldn't tell you which combo or brand works best and the length of trio can play into this as well.
What do you like about the PD better than Thule cubes? I have the Thule ones and don't find myself having any problem with them, though so far I've only used them a handful of times.
yeah I am not a fan of the PD packing cubes because you can't overstuff them.
I am trying out the Patagonia packing cubes for my upcoming trip.
The whole point of a compressing packing cube is that you pack it as full as possible after opening all the zippers and then when it's absolutely packed full of shirts or whatever, you zip up the compression zipper and push out most of the air. So... I guess I don't understand what you mean by overstuff aside from that. As long as you keep the clothes you put in neatly folded or rolled you can fit quite a lot and squeeze out much of the air.
The medium is like 18l. Why do you need to overstuff them??
I use a combination of the Aer packing cubes, Matador Gear Cubes and Eagle Creek Slim depending on the bag and what I'm carrying. This combo has worked well over the last year for my bag or roller.
I have been making do with flimsy packing cubes for too long and am ready to invest in some good ones.
Any recommendations? Do they make neoprene ones? I would prefer some that didn’t rip after a couple uses and that would simplify my packing.
Thanks! PS: Large backpack user here.
Eagle Creek for me. Osprey makes some good ones that are rarely mentioned and they are notably available in singles vs sets.
Tripped brand (on Amazon) makes some good knock offs of the Eagle Creek Specter compression cubes.
I use a couple cubes, a garment folder and three one liter pouches. Those sets of six can be divided between several travels.
Seconding Eagle Creek. I bought a set 12 years ago and they’re still good as new. I use them at least 10 times a year and they’ve been through some shit. I always throw them in the washer and sometimes even the dryer after use. They hold up just fine. I got some compression cubes as well, but my regular Eagle Creeks are actually better at compression than those two zipper cubes.
My Eagle Creeks have been holding up for years, they’re probably one of the best things I ever bought in my entire life.
I got a whole set of the Specter cubes new with the tags in a thrift store about ten years ago. Light weight, good zippers, fast drying fabric and easy to clean.
The Tripped brand cubes are nearly identical and just a few grams heavier at less cost.
2nd on the small cubes from Peak Design and Thule. Used one of each on a onebag trip in June, and they were great. Takes some practice to truly get the most "compression" out of them, but I have zero intention of looking for something else.
I'm not using compression cubes, just IKEA packing cubes, but I try to practice the same packing technique as my backpack and not overfill them. They are more for organization and so it doesn't make sense to stuff them for that purpose.
I don't think you need to worry about having heavier, stronger packing cubes this way. Just use more cheap cubes if one won't hold what you need.
My Ikea packing cubes from over 5 years ago are my favorite and have a lasted so long. I had a popular brand (goneck?) compression ones where the material kept getting stuck in the zipper and went right back to my Ikea ones.
I recently came into some compression ones by both Peak Design and also Thule, both in small. The Thule reeked of patchouli, but I guess I did buy it from REI (I've never had this before, though, lol.) Anyway, the Peak Design one was a surprise gift, but now I guess I can compare them. Peak Design definitely holds more, and is a bit more rectangular. The quick access tabs seem... unnecessary, but nice, I guess. Both compress well, but then their compressed states aren't too squish-able in your bag, if you're trying to Tetris them in. Even in small, both hold quite a bit. I can't imagine needing larger, but I also like to put pants in one, and shirts/sleeping attire/etc in another for my own personal organizational desires.
I was just going to give basically this exact advice for these exact two cubes. If you have travel luggage you are content with (pack or suitcase), I would advise looking into which good-quality cubes fit the dimensions of your luggage best. For example, the Peak Design small size fits perfectly in the bottom of my ULA Dragonfly 30L which helps maximize space.
I love the material on the Peak Design stuff but it's a bit too small for my bag, it leaves just the wrong amount of space on either side when I pack it. If that's the case for you, the Eagle Creek stuff is also very good and has more options around dimensions.
>Also not machine washable
Huh, really? I've never had any issues with that. I use a PD packing cube literally daily to bring clean clothes back and forth to work, I've machine washed that one probably a hundred times at this point.
I really like the Thule compression ones. I have the set of one large one small. The gusseted corners mean that when they bulge from overpacking, the corners fill out too so it’s like a little brick of stuff rather than a fat in the middle thing. The brick shape is really efficient inside a smallish travel bag. The zippers have been TESTED and so far have held. I have had to kneel on it to pack it down for zipping when I over shopped on a trip and no sign of weakness so far. When it breaks it will be my fault but so far so good. I like them a lot on trips where I’ll be on the go a bunch so i want things to cram down in an organized fashion, but in those cases I try not to make packing them such a wresting match. But if you have to cram it absolutely chock a bloc full, you can and it will hold an impressive amount of clothing.
I was thinking of getting some packing cubes because I'm.so bad at organising my suitcases. And I was thinking of getting the 3 pack of orange printed packing cubes. But I haven't seen many reviews on them are they worth it or should I look into another brand
One of the 2-pack packing cube sets? Or the 3-pack 3D Zip Set?
If the packing cube set: They're ok. They're...packing cubes. As other people said, they're a bit overpriced for what they are. I'm more impressed with my REI compression packing cubes.
If the 3D Zip Set: I ended up liking mine because they are versatile when it comes to packing bulky things of various sizes. However, these aren't the best for regular clothes like t-shirts, pants, etc. They're better for shoes (big one) or small toiletries (small one).
Personally I use compression packing cubes, and I was so bummed that the baggu ones don’t have a compression option. I got a cute patterned set of 4 compression cubes for the same price as the baggu ones instead
They’re cute but I personally wouldn’t spend $36 on two packing cubes. They’re just as good as any other brand in my experience. But if you can get them on sale, then sure
You mean the go pouches? They're good for little things, but probably not adequate for a bunch of clothes. I love them but if they're out of your budget, look into the Tripped brand. For $50, you get all kinds of sizes and they have some fun prints.
baggu has packing cubes for clothes that are not the go pouches. it’s a pack of two to help organize suitcases.
Do you use any packing cubes when you travel and if so, what are your favorite ones? Do you use compression packing cubes, or some bigger sets for long travels? I've made a search and found out that these were the most recommended packing cubes:
What do you think about these options? Do you have more recommendations?
I've got the Thule compression packing cubes and they work like a charm for me. Very sturdy material, good zippers, and great compression. I picked them up on an REI sale and find they're a great fit for my mini MLC
+1 for the Thule cubes. I’ve used them for both travel and sometimes for keeping extra clothes with me in my EDC for long days of onsite work. They are super sturdy, and I really like the little handle they have so I can fish them out of my bag easier. I have one large compression cube, one non-compression large two-sided, and I usually use the medium size for underwear and socks
That’s great to hear. I have the Thule clean/dirty one and I really like it, so I grabbed some of the smaller compression ones in the REI sale. I had previously been using some from Amazon but hated how they turned into dense sausages when compressed. Maybe Thule will convert me to actually liking compression cubes.
Same cubes and bag. Really enjoy the combo. Both are such nice quality!
Honestly, I’ve tried others, and I always go back to Eagle Creek’s original packing cubes. I prefer no compression. I like the two sided clean/dirty packing cube for underwear and socks. They are the OG packing cubes, and I don’t think anyone does it better.
Two sided cubes were a game changer for me! So easy to stay organized and not have to repack my luggage to account for dirty clothes. Plus keeps my clean clothes from smelling.
I used my staff discount to purchase the OG EC packing cubes when the store where I worked started carrying them. Ten years and many trips later and they’re still going strong.
Another vote for good old eagle creek! I’ve tried compression cubes but there no where near as good as me just stuffing the eagle creek ones within an inch of their life 🥲
Best value is IKEA packing cubes. I use them every time.
Personally, along with the double sided for underwear and socks, it’s cause the sizing is just perfect. I find most of the cheap ones are too big. With Eagle Creek, I can fit two medium and one small packing cube plus a pair of sneakers, a packable coat, and my toiletries in my suitcase or backpack. I pack one medium with my bottoms, one medium with my tops, and the small with my underwear, bras, socks, and swimsuit. Cheaper packing cubes just don’t fit correctly.
Edited to add: they also have excellent zippers. No matter how full I pack them, I have never had a problem with their zippers.
Second edit: I’ve had the same Eagle Creek cubes since 2008, and they are still exactly as good as they were the day I bought them. Despite being almost 20 years old, They still look and act new despite having been to 6 continents and countless trips.
I’m looking to get double sided cubes for the same reason and know they will last years and years. But it’s so tough to swallow $40 spend for a single baggie with zippers. I have gonex currently and wish they would make a double sided version.
now i really want to try those… my issue with compression packing cubes was that they made this odd shaped brick that i felt like didn’t really let me use my suitcase space more efficiently!
Ive pretty much been one bagging all my life but until I joined this sub Id never come across packing cubes. Do they make a real difference to packing, and if so what are the best sizes to get? Thanks very much.
They help structure the bag and make it easier to load/unload it in a hotel room. Not everything needs to go in a packing cube but I find that using one or two (for clothes) is really useful. I seldom use the « medium » (c. 35x25) size (only when I carry some pants), the « small » (25x18) ones much more often. I like the Evergoods double cube a lot.
Structure is the word for me. I use a very unstructured and super light daybag as my onebag (Eddie Bauer 20L Stowaway). Using a single 14x10 Cipway compression cube fits all my clothes and creates structure to the bag.
I like them for organizing.
The right size will be the ones that fit your bag dimensions well so you can kind of Tetris them all in nicely.
I'm not big on compression so I just use some of the Amazon Basics ones in different sizes..
I used the Amazon Basics cubes for many years. I still like them. They're cheap and you can easily buy the sizes that work for your bag. They're surprisingly sturdy too.
But recently I had a credit at Topo Designs and decided to use it for their 5L packing cubes (they're a hair larger than the Amazon small) i REALLY like them! I carry a Topo 20L bag, and those cubes are intentionally made to fit that bag like a glove. The Topo cubes are a bit sturdier and therefore heavier than the Amazon, but when you're only carrying a 20L it totally doesn't matter.
And, being a native and current Seatte-ite, I'm kind of boycotting Amazon. Haha. But, their Basics cubes are sturdy, light, and nicely priced.
+1 for boycotting Amazon. They ruin small businesses
I travel SUPER light with only a small 20L backpack. It is top loading.
I use 3 size small 5L packing cubes in it. One has under clothes and a tee plus a pair of yoga shorts. One has 3 dresses and 2 leggings. And the third has a blouse, swimsuit, a small hoodie). The only thing in my bag that's not in a cube or pouch is a Nanopuff jacket at the bottom of.the bag and a pashmina scarf i put right on top. Easy access to it.
I also have little canvas pencil pouches (4x7) that contain my non liquid stuff like nail clippers, toothbrush, hair comb etc.. and a second that has cords and cables. The third is my clear liquids bag.
Because i travel so light, I use my onebag as my day pack. I pop the pouches out and the cubes out at my hotel, nice and neat on a shelf and I'm off to enjoy the day. Having cubes makes it so much easier to find what you're looking for quickly and neatly. I also tend to lose fewer things too. Haha. It makes it easier to see if I'm missing anything. Haha.
Its worth noting that the type of cube you use will be personal preference. I like the ones that don't compress. They're perfect little rectangles. I've used the compression ones, but they're more pillow shaped, so they leave gaps of dead space in your bag and don't really allow you to pack more.
If packing as much as you can to bursting is your goal, no cubes is your solution..
This is a great example of the organizational benefits of packing cubes. I’ve never been fully sold on the idea of the compression cubes saving much space, but I love the way you can compartmentalize stuff, and unpack easily at a hotel.
They're an organizational tool - like anything else they will add weight. I prefer the medium and small sizes and like that I can easily pull my clothes out of my bag all at once and they stay folded since they're in the cube.
I find them very useful for compressing my stuff to take up less volume, and keep things neat and organised. I bought a cheap seven pack in different sizes and have been switching out the ones I use the most with higher quality ones as I figure out my needs in size.
The compression ones are a game changer for socks and underwear. Specially because you already roll them.
If you're going to use a compression cube find one that can be open like a box cause otherwise is hard for accessibility.
Brand recommendation? The ones I have are ancient and I want to get new ones.
I’ve always just rolled up my clothes and shoved them into my bag like a human burrito. But lately, I keep hearing about how packing cubes are a game-changer—some say they help with space, others say it’s just hype. For those of you who backpack frequently: are packing cubes actually worth the hype? Or are they just another item to carry around and forget about? Honest thoughts welcome!
They don’t help with space. They help with organization, especially keeping the dirty clothing separate. They are super light. Just give it a try.
Yeah in fact they techincally take up space. You can stuff more clothes without packing cubes, but if course if the sock you want at the bottom of the bag, it's a pain.
I agree with the separate dirty clothes, that's what it ended up becoming for me. Just to store all the dirty clothes till the next wash
Normal cubes I definitely agree, but IME compression cubes def save space
I use them for conventional travel and backpacking/camping and I find them helpful for organizational purposes. I don’t have to unpack loose things just to get to a certain item.
Like travel or wilderness?
I think they're great for travel. They don't really help with space efficiency but they make it a lot easier to fully unpack my backpack and use it for a day hike or something.
Organize yourself. Most bags are just a huge hole. Say you're traveling so.ewhere for a month. Are you just going to chuck your shirt, underwear and whatnot in the bag randomly? For a weekend trip it's fine to not be so organized, but for longterm you need to have a system.
You probably can see the usefulness of having a tech pouch, or a toilet kit. Same with clothes.
Been using the compression ones by Thule and I can't recommend them enough, they're my go-to even for short, nearby trips, game changer not only in terms of organization but also to squeeze in more in less space👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼
EDIT: Thank you all for your suggestions on cubes - like, dislikes, and how you use them. I’m going to research a few that were listed that I hadn’t and hopefully will decide from there.
Hi everyone. I’m planning my first trip overseas and I am making notes in preparation to pack. For those who use compression packing cubes which are your favorites? I have been looking at ones from Thule (two pack, med & large size). However, I’m interested in hearing pros/cons for other brands and how many you normally use. I’ll be traveling with a 28L travel back pack (if that helps). Thanks in advance.
I love the eagle creek specter packing cubes because they’re super lightweight and high quality. The same set has lasted me about 8 years. The main downside imo is that they’re pretty expensive.
Are these even being made anymore? The company was set to shutdown last year and has since been acquired. I still see the white ones for sell on Amazon, but I'd imagine that's old stock.
Honestly, I used these for years and they're fine and solid, but considering their high price and the questionable direction and/or future of the company, I don't see the point in going out of the way for these anymore. I also switched to the far more affordable and easily available Gonex bags and have been more or less equally happy with them.
I second the Gonex bags! Available easily on Amazon. I buy different sizes and different colours so they're easy for me to differentiate. When stuffed full of clothes they also make a solid pillow in a pinch.
I bought these and one of the zippers brokie when trying to close it
The best compression packing cubes are Gonex Compression Packing Cubes which are helpful when it comes to consolidating and organizing clothing items between the different-sized cubes. The compression cubes help you get more items packed than a regular version of a packing cube and the sturdy zippers made compressing the packed cubes easy, leading us to believe that these cubes will last over time with the durable zippers and stitchwork. Although the nylon material isn’t waterproof it’s found that the material repels some water (but the clothing should remain dry with the extra protection of a suitcase, too). Plus, the handles on the top of each cube make it easy to grab the bags for packing and unpacking, and we love that the set includes an extra-large, large, medium, and small bag for variety.
While I agree that they work as packing cubes, I disagree that they work as compression packing cubes - there is a massive difference between the two (and I mean that literally - one by definition compresses and the other… doesn’t).
Ooh, I was thinking of the same thing for an upcoming trip. In the end, what matters is that you get the organization you want so the product doesn’t necessarily matter. But I still like the idea of compression cubes to save space 😅
The two biggest discriminators are weight and zipper quality.
You want decent zippers so it doesn’t blow out.
You’ll also pay a higher price for the lighter ones. I think it’s worth it, as I’m trying to get the packaging in my pack as light as possible.
I think compression cubes are worth it if you are trying to save space in your bag. This becomes more important with smaller packs.
I don’t ever use vacuum bags.
I know this is probably not a popular thing to say, but I actually use 1 and 2 gallon zip lock bags. They are cheap, available everywhere, I can see what is in them and they can be repurposed for other things on my trip. I roll my items, put them in the bag, partially zip it (I use a brand with a zipper closure...), press out all the air and finish the zip, and pack away.
Yes, they will decompress somewhat during travel, but they stay compressed long enough to close my bag. If I open my bag and find that they have decompressed more than I want, I can just "recompress them" on the spot.
I've looked into packing cubes but I can't seem to find any that I think will work better than my zip locks. And I always stick a few spares in my bag and a couple in my backpack. Along with some quart size ones. They are great for damp or dirty items, to keep them segregated from my other items.
I use zip locks when I travel with the kids and just wanted to say that since we moved the the UK from the US I can’t find any ziplocks the same quality as my US ones. So it might be relative based on where you are how durable these will be. That said I use the heavy duty large ones with zippers for tons of things and they are very durable.
Another ziplock fan here. I've used them since a friend got infested with bedbugs. It's pretty common to happen while traveling. Since then, all my clothes go into ziplocks to pack, when I'm done wearing them, after I wash/dry them if I do, and then packed up again for home. My bag always stays in a bathroom or on a non-carpeted surface (on top of a desk, dresser, table or counter). A little paranoid, maybe, but I feel better knowing I'm taking precautions.
I also thought about this and do this normally do this on regular trips for small items and shoes. Thk you.
After long thinking and experimenting, I've come to the conclusion that I'd like to use multiple small-ish packing cubes for my backpack-only travels, but if I were to use the exact same one for everything I'd drive myself insane...is there a company that sells small-ish packing cubes with different color options?
I'd like them to be of decent quality and with a somewhat decent price...but you can't have everything in life😂... I'd say I'll prioritize the (decent/low) price for once
Haven’t tried them but baggu has some in fun prints
I love their packing cubes!
I have the standard and big bags from baggu and they last. I just purchased the packing cubes to try out.
If you have a daiso near you the daiso packing cubes are awesome. The smallest size is like a smaller rectangular cube shape. I use it for undergarments/workout/swimwear but it would probably serve you well and it comes in different colours
I just got a few laundry bags to use as packing cubes from Daiso. Do they have items specifically to be used as packing cubes? Thanks!
Yes they do! They have some that fold into themselves and some that are displayed flat/hanging but where it’s more obvious it’s a cube. Do note that all their cubes have at least some if not one entire panel of netting. I find mine hold up well and I just chuck them in the machine from time to time. If I over stuff I have ripped the netting before or broken the zip. But given that I travel 70 percent of the year and put them through hard use I would say they are an absolutely fantastic investment
Eagle Creek has different colors. Cotopaxi also has the Del Dia ones that are a random mix of colors so each is different.
I switched to Aloha Collection bags. They a super super light, made of Tyvek (splash resistant), and fun. They have 50% sales. They are REALLY expensive but worth it.
Muji ✌️

Key Considerations for Packing Cubes:
Material: Look for durable, lightweight materials like nylon or polyester that can withstand wear and tear while being easy to clean.
Size Variety: Choose a set that includes different sizes (small, medium, large) to accommodate various items, from clothing to toiletries.
Zipper Quality: Ensure the zippers are sturdy and smooth to prevent snagging and ensure easy access to your belongings.
Ventilation: Some packing cubes come with mesh panels that allow for breathability, which can help reduce odors and keep clothes fresh.
Compression Features: Consider cubes with compression zippers to maximize space in your luggage, allowing you to fit more items.
Organization: Look for cubes with different colors or labels to help categorize items (e.g., tops, bottoms, accessories), making it easier to find what you need.
Recommendations:
eBags Packing Cubes: Highly rated for their durability and variety of sizes, plus they come with a lifetime warranty.
AmazonBasics Packing Cubes: A budget-friendly option that still offers good quality and comes in a variety of sizes.
