TL;DR The cost of laser hair removal varies widely based on the area treated, number of sessions, and location. Prices can range from a few hundred to several thousand dollars for complete treatments.
Price Range and Packages
Laser hair removal costs vary significantly depending on the treatment package and body area. For example, prices for facial hair removal can range from $1,200 for 6 sessions in Texas [1:1] to $3,600 at Milan Laser for unlimited sessions
[2:2]. Full-body packages can reach up to $13,000 with unlimited sessions and touch-ups
[5:1].
Regional Variations
Location plays a significant role in pricing. In Miami, a full-leg package consisting of 6 sessions was priced at $1,350 [4:1], whereas in Massachusetts, facial hair removal is around $1,200
[2:5]. In Canada, a combination of laser and electrolysis for facial hair removal costs about $1,500
[3:1]. Prices can be lower in areas with a higher competition among clinics, such as Glasgow where sessions are £50 each
[3:2].
Session Costs and Discounts
Individual session costs can also vary. Some clinics offer discounts for bulk purchases, reducing the per-session cost significantly. For instance, one user noted that buying multiple sessions upfront halved the price compared to paying per session [3:6]. Groupon deals can provide substantial savings, though they might seem too good to be true
[4].
Unlimited Touch-Ups
Some clinics, like Milan Laser, offer packages with unlimited touch-ups for life, which can be appealing for those seeking long-term results [1:3]. However, these packages tend to be more expensive initially but may offer better value over time if frequent touch-ups are needed.
Considerations Beyond Price
While cost is a crucial factor, it's important to consider the quality of service, equipment used, and the reputation of the clinic. Investing in a reputable clinic with professional technicians can ensure better results and potentially reduce the need for additional sessions or touch-ups.
I’m a guy, I went in for a consultation yesterday. I was my whole beard to be Lasered (upper lip, cheeks, chin, under chin, and the front neck) she quoted me $3,894. Does that sound right? Just hope in not paying more than I should.
Brazilian area is $350 per treatment for 10 treatments. So $3,500 total
I’m getting full body done at Milan laser for $11,491. Unlimited touch ups for life. At any Milan store.
Do you mind me asking when you bought your package? I’m paying 15k
January of this year
i got a single face treatment done today for 270
For how many sessions?
She said it usually takes 7-10 treatments but she didn’t give me an exact number.
So....what does that price include though? As many sessions as you want for the rest of the year, the rest of your life?
I charge about $1200 for our 6 session package. We're in Texas, and use a alexandrite and YAG combination laser.
Where are you at in Texas? I need to come see you ASAP
I had a consultation for laser hair removal and they told me the price for just my face would be a bit over $25,000 in total.
I feel like this is really steep and I haven’t been able to find prices to compare it too.
Is this the normal cost?
Yeah find somewhere else that's extortion.
Do you know what this price should approximately be?
I think at Milan, it's about $3600 for the entire face (flat rate), and you can go in as many times as you need to. They're usually considered about the most expensive big chain for laser, but also often considered the best.
In MA, it's about $1200 for face where I am.
$25k sounds more like the cost for electrolysis than laser, tbh.
I did face+neck laser at two local places.
700$ for 6 sessions at one 960$ for 6 at the other (180 for single no package)
117 per at the first place w/ package 160 per at second place w/ package
For 25,000 you could do 125 sessions at 200 each. which is high.
ONE. HUNDRED. TWENTY. FIVE. SESSIONS.
Do NOT go to milan if that was a real quote. They quoted me 3000 for unlimited for face and neck and I thought it was too much. Side note, if english is not your first language, remember that twenty-five hundred is 2,500, not 25,000!
I swear those companies survive off people not being able to do math or throwing it on care credit without caring about being ripped off while being sold a package like a car salesperson would.
I had already completed 8-9 sessions and went there because it's right around the corner compared to an hour or more round trip and they told me they could give me a big discount because I already had done so many treatments. $2000 for just my UPPER arms with supposedly the highest discount
I would have to pay more for my lower arms too but they would throw my hands in for free almost laughed her out of the room.
Check Groupon. I got good deals on there, and live in really expensive area. I got a 6 session large area package for under $300.
25k$ sounds like a “go away” quote in my opinion. I had laser per session for 100$ and electrolysis for 100$ per hour at a local clinic. I live in a middle/low cost of living area.
I've wanted to get laser hair removal for a long time because of how unbearable facial hair is for me, but I'm having a hard time finding out what the costs are does anyone have a general idea of how much it would cost to get laser hair removal over my whole face, or alternatively just partially over places like the neck and upper lip? I know that prices will vary a lot depending on who's doing it, I'm more wondering about a general price range, whether it's £100-£300, or more in the range of £500+ because I want to get an idea of how feasible it would be for me to afford it.
I'm presuming you are in the UK. The answer is gonna be that it depends where you are in the UK. I paid about £50 per session (lower face and neck) but I'm in Glasgow where there's a few places to pick from. If you're in England laserclinics.co.uk is a chain with shops all over the place and doesn't look too expensive
I'm in scotland, close enough to Edinburgh to make clinics there an option. how many sessions did it take you?
I had 18 sessions
Going to an initial appointment on Saturday myself (I live in France), I don't have an exact quote but the prices shown on the website (from memory) were around 80-100 € per session for face+neck, and going up if I were to add more areas like arms or legs, etc. Though maybe it'll work out to less if I take them in bulk, but I'm not sure if I will cause I'm a bit unsure about what it'll be like and idk if I wanna commit.
I paid for mine in bulk. A single session was a lot more expensive than I thought, but it was like half price when I paid for 8.
Of course where you live will affect the prices too.
Here in the states, I'm looking at 1600-2000, very few options in my location.
Here in Canada, I did 3 rounds of lazer and will take about 6-8 hours of electrolysis. Cost will be about $1500. But I was lucky that lazer took care of most of it.
Clinics never list prices upfront, and Groupon deals seem too good to be true. Share your total cost (location, # of sessions, area treated) so we can all avoid overpaying

I had laser hair removal done at a well-rated, mid-range medspa in Miami. It wasn’t a chain, but the equipment and technicians were really professional. I went for the full-leg package—6 sessions in total—which cost me $1,350 (about $225 per session). Since I paid for the full treatment upfront, they gave me a 15% discount.
The results were pretty noticeable—I'd say over 90% of the hair was gone. It's been more than a year now, and I've only needed one $100 touch-up session. Overall, I think it was worth it.
Now I'm considering getting an at-home laser hair removal device. It seems like a much more affordable option compared to going to a clinic.
Mine has been $300 per session, so $900 so far. I think most of the non-gray hair is gone at this point, but I'm going to give it one more try to see whether there is any more improvement.
$900 USD per full-body session
Where?
a place in atlanta that closed in 2020
It would probably help if people mentioned which body parts were lasered
16 US dollars, sometimes 8. Just the beard. Argentina is fucking amazing
Don't you have a really good FFS surgeon there too?
13K$ with a 3 year 0% APR loan. My areas treated are from my face down. I have unlimited sessions and touchups. (Milan Laser).
I found a place that offers $175 and hour for electrolysis and $275/hour for laser. I'm considering it because some of it will be covered by insurance but it still feels hellla expensive. what did it cost for all yall?
Also I have fairly light skin (not that pale though) and dark hair so should I try laser first? Like I'm worried it will laser and become blondish but will still show so i'll end up paying for electrolysis after anyway.
Thanks in advance!
Does the laser place charge a full hour no matter what? Cause like 15min with the laser can get pretty much everyone you'd need.
oh, i have no idea i'll call em and ask. that makes the price a lot more reasonable though! tyty!
I pay $100/hour of electrolysis; and for a package of 6 laser session for my full face & neck, I believe it was ~$450ish total (each session takes about 10-15min.)
Or maybe Germany?
What area of the body? One leg would typically be around 400-600 Euro in Germany, using a clinical-grade laser. Usually 1000 Euro per session for both legs. A facial is about 250 Euro. Can also be much cheaper at beauty salons but usually they have cheaper / lower powered lasers there
That is insanely expensive, my condolences. I paid $700 USD per session for full body (everything except face and genitals) in NYC, which is probably the highest cost-of-living area in the US. Face was $250 USD for 6 sessions. This was a specialized laser hair removal clinic with the usual equipment, not a beauty salon. And I thought that was expensive!
Yup, that’s dirt cheap. The problem here is that real laser is pretty much only available from clinics and hospitals. Normal beauty salons aren’t allowed to do it. This drives the costs up like a nut job.
I pay 150$ for one facial session at my doctor, but that’s only because my health insurance pays half.
That's an insanely good deal.
I think probably full body
It all depends on what area and which machine. Need more details
Full body with preferably legit machine lol
I just called my local laser place to get a quote for hair removal of my private areas, my full legs, and my underarms. For a lifetime guarantee of hair removal, she quoted me a little over $10,000 WITH A 40% discount. They only do packages and not per-session pricing, and for reference I have blonde fine-ish hair. I know this is an expensive procedure and you get what you pay for, but are people really going around paying $10k - $20k on this treatment? Is this the industry standard? I was thinking that it would be cheaper to fly out of the country to a place like Thailand to have it done, plus a bonus vacation. Advice?
That’s a pretty high price. Your hair may also be too light or fine for laser. I certainly wouldn’t commit to a huge expensive package to start. Check with multiple places and start with underarms. You can easily find places that charge $50-100/treatment on that area. Legs are most expensive. If it goes well, you can consider larger areas and packages.
I’m paying a similar amount for those areas at a place that has a similar set up! I went to a per session place (med spa pretty much) previously and got 6 treatments for my brazilian and it literally all came back. Like $3000 down the drain. For me, paying extra for the lifetime guarantee is worth it bc I have stubborn areas with PCOS and I wanted to truly be hair-free for life. I would definitely recommend checking it out or asking for a consultation!! Even if you don’t end up going with them, you can at least say you got insight!!
That’s outrageous. This is one of many reasons why I recommend getting your LHR done at a dermatologist office. The pricing is a lot better. For reference, at the office I go to, it’s $1200 for a Brazilian, $2400 for full legs and $1000 for underarms.
Also, don’t leave the country for this either lol
I find that prices are really all over the place and a dermatologist office can get more expensive too. Key is shopping around, not just for the price but for laser type too.
You should shop around for 2+ more places. Avoid franchises if you can because they overcharge, make you prepay massive amounts, and tend to treat you like shit / with underhanded tactics once they already have your money.
Laser only works for dark coarse / thick hair. I’d also go for a few consultations for what body parts of yours are actually treatable. Some places will just take your money regardless if your area is treatable.
It's insane that in Brazil, I'm paying underarms and Brazilian just $232 for 10 sessions.
I just had a consultation for laser hair removal and got a quote for a little under $4000 for a Brazilian only and unlimited sessions for a life time. Is that excessive or a good price? I’ve never done this before so I don’t have anything to compare it to.
that’s a ton. i’m paying $70 a month for both brazilian and underarms with a package deal they had. i’m only on my second session but seeing great results so far so i don’t think i’ll get close to that price once i’m done
Milan Laser charged me 3850USD for full Brazilian and that was with their 60% off special they run every couple months
Seems a bit much, I pay $275cad a visit for full legs and feet and only needed 8 sessions for 10x the area for half the cost
I had a package of 7 for my underarms and Brazilian which cost ~$1300. Touch up appts are half off which came to $150 at my last touch up. So I do think this salon you're looking at is very pricey..
Even my leg package that I started last week is only $2600. Same thing as above, half off for touch-ups.
USD.
I work at a laser hair removal place and our unlimited lifetime package for brazilian is $2500 and a small area is included, like underarms and sometimes we can give discount so I think is highly expensive
Agreed

Key Considerations for Laser Hair Removal Costs
Treatment Area: The cost varies significantly based on the area being treated. Smaller areas (like the upper lip) can cost between $100-$300 per session, while larger areas (like legs or back) can range from $300-$800 per session.
Number of Sessions: Most people require multiple sessions (typically 6-8) for optimal results. This means the total cost can add up, often ranging from $1,000 to $3,000 or more for full treatment.
Location: Prices can vary by geographic location. Urban areas or regions with a higher cost of living may charge more than rural areas.
Provider Experience: Clinics with more experienced practitioners or advanced technology may charge higher fees. It's essential to balance cost with quality and safety.
Promotions and Packages: Many clinics offer package deals or discounts for multiple sessions, which can reduce the overall cost.
Recommendation: Before committing, consult with a licensed professional to discuss your specific needs and get a detailed quote. Ensure the clinic has good reviews and proper certifications to ensure safety and effectiveness.
