The Battle pass has all the skins listed if you view them. Its a good buy. You get 1.5k Vbucks from it, enough for you to buy the next battle pass and have some couple bucks left over

I had this exact same question when I started playing. Fortnite has an item shop and things rotate in and out of it. You have to wait for the items you want to show up. Things like Batman are special releases that may appear once or twice per year. Some things come and it is more than a year until they come back if they come back at all. Other items are tied to a battle pass. If you don’t get the pass, you will never be able to buy them individually. For example, if you want the marvel skins like Thor, She Hulk, or Iron Man from this pass you need to buy the pass before the season ends. However, Blade, Silver Surfer, and Captain America were item shop skins so they could appear even after this season. Captain America for example debuted this past 4th of July.

Wait for the next time there in the item shop

They should at least have a search bar for the past week at least

Your best bet to get skins without paying money are to grind for the 300 v-bucks that are in the free rewards of the Battle Passes for the next 4 seasons (as one paid BP is 950 V-bucks, so 3 seasons of 300 v-bucks and 1 season of 100 v-bucks), or to wait until this year's Christmas event.

Most are bought. You can do a one time purchase of the battle pass if you wanna start getting some skins and when you reach level 100 you'll have enough vbucks to buy the next pass as well, unless of course you spend them in the shop. Some skins are given for free during the holidays and some others that you can buy in the shop have excellent value as they get different styles. For example the skin Ruby got an additional style today meaning you get 3 different versions or recolors, Aura has 3 styles as well, Bullseye, Hush, plenty more. You buy one of those you basically get 2 or 3 skins.

They usually give away 2 free skins every Christmas

Pretty sure all skins are bought, either from the store or battle pass. There are sometimes packs for players on ps plus though (I'm not sure about Xbox or pc because I only play ps)

If you grind Vbucks from the Free Battle Pass Rewards for a few seasons, you'll be able to get the battle pass without microtransactions. And each battle pass gives enough vbucks to get the next one, so you wont have to spend any money. But unless you're willing to grind for months the only way is to pay.

All the skins that rotate are default skins. These are skins everyone in the game has. The featured items are one way you can purchase items. This thing called a “battlepass” is for 10 dollars which you can buy every season for brand new skins, gliders, pickaxes, and much more. Currently, there’s no way to select you default skin. Some skins are customizable, but not all.

OP: the skins that rotate every game are the default skins, it counts as one skin, but they are randomly selected by the game for each match. Everybody has the default skin. If u want to purchase skins, you need to buy V-bucks, in game currency of fortnite. After that, go to the item shop to buy skins. Daily items refreshes every 24 hour at 7 pm EST, and featured items’ refresh time varies. There is also another way to get skins. There is a thing called Battle Pass, it has 100 tiers. Each tier it gives you a reward, it could be skins, emote, vbucks. If u don’t buy it, you get only a little bit of the rewards. If you purchase the battle pass for 950 vbucks, you can do challenges each week to get tiers to upgrade ur battle pass. Battle pass refreshes every season, 10 weeks. You do know that’s against tos, right? That account would be at risk of a ban, or the seller is scamming the buyer for some quick cash.

It asks you for a card in case you go over the amount then it will auto charge the other card. If everything is under the amount in your wallet you'll be fine. It asks you to do it for things like crew too even if you only want to sub for one month.

I just redeemed a $15 card the other day, got the free skin but haven't purchased anything yet. I also have rewards from the 20% rewards epic gives now though but honestly you should be ok. Out the transaction through up until you have ones the final confirmation and that should show you how it's going to charge for it.

This happened exactly with me but with the wild tracker skin with widow. I bought $20 worth of coins to buy the skin and it says the purchase failed. I think it's because there's a lock over it and it doesn't show the price in the hero gallery, and that's why we can't buy them.

You need to buy the pass and then each level up you get stars as currency to unlock stuff in the pass.

Each level grants 5 battle stars. Use the battle stars to unlock things on the page. Some items want you to unlock other things first, then you can get the item you want.

You have to Unlock everything on any given Page before you can get the Final Item of said Page.

(nothing before the Page is necessary, only what's on that specific Page)

If you own the Battlepass, You need to unlock all items on the page to fill the bar below the skin to unlock the ability to use your stars to get it.

Tldr, Buy all that page, buy skin

Good luck mate; i feel like I’m starting new as well because i just switched from controller to keyboard and mouse. I know the experience is incredibly daunting at times, so if i were you I’d stick to team rumble, creative, and maybe some limited time modes for a little while. I have my game sense built up from playing on controller since day 1, but my mechanics are not there at all with the keyboard so I’m doing the same thing I’m advising you to do. After another week or two of practicing in those modes I’m gonna start playing some public matches and see how I do. Don’t let people talk you down either, i constantly see people being called bots (I’ve said it a few times myself) but the fact is that everyone starts at 0.

Skins rotate in and rotate out of the item shop every night at 8pm EST. If you know what skin you want you will have to wait until it rotates in. Their are websites that show you a full list of skins that have a random chance to be rotated in that night.

You have to go through her draw for a chance to get it through a pool of 10 items that eliminate themselves once drawn.
