TL;DR Use online guides and maps, explore thoroughly, and leverage community resources.
Online Guides and Maps
For finding secret items in Final Fantasy games, using online guides and maps can be incredibly helpful. Websites like finalfantasy.wikia and jegged.com are recommended for comprehensive information on hidden items and legendary weapons [4:1]
[4:2]. These resources often include detailed descriptions of item locations and conditions needed to acquire them.
Exploration and Community Tips
Exploring the game world thoroughly is essential for uncovering hidden items. In some cases, players have shared specific tips, such as using a guide for particular mini-games or side quests that contain valuable items [2:4]. Additionally, engaging with community discussions can provide insights into lesser-known secrets, such as unique mechanics or obscure item locations
[3:1]
[3:4].
Secret Rooms and Special Conditions
Some items may be found in secret rooms or require special conditions to access. For example, certain rooms might only appear under specific circumstances, such as when a shop has freezers [3:2]
[3:3]. Understanding these conditions can help you locate items that are otherwise difficult to find.
Strategy Guides and Playthroughs
While playing blind can offer a pure experience, using strategy guides can ensure you don't miss out on crucial items, especially those that enhance gameplay or unlock additional content [2:7]
[5:11]. Watching playthroughs or tutorials on platforms like YouTube can also provide visual guidance on item locations and acquisition strategies
[5:1].

Consider joining forums or subreddits dedicated to Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, where players frequently share tips, walkthroughs, and personal experiences. Engaging with these communities can provide real-time advice and updates on newly discovered secrets or strategies.
Title. Finished up in the Land of the Summoners last night and probably spent an hour searching on google for a guide that had the hidden item locations, none did, and then I spent more time looking for them myself and was still unsuccessful. Just figured I’d ask before I let it eat at me.
Edit: I did look around for one on my own but could only find one for the original SNES release, which of course isn’t helpful.
Does this map help?
That helped a lot! Definitely gonna be using those maps for when my brain stops working, thanks!
Is it worth to find all the little secrets? Is there a guide just for finding items. I still want to figure out how to beat bosses on my own.
This game is actually really easy. I beat this game when I was like 12 and didn’t even know how the equipments and abilities worked (which is major in this game). I replayed this game this year and didn’t use a guide and still beat it easily. Even if you miss all the secret items you can still get second best and beat the game easily.
Yea I did too when I was younger. in elementary school I think . But I have shit memory and forgot most of the story so I'm playing again. Just to make it a little easier if I get secret items
The only secret items that really matter are late game and they are mostly found in Memoria. Because on disc 4 you can go to black mage village and just buy really good equipment. Although I would say it is fun to have the characters best weapons and you do learn some skills/abilities that you can’t learn without them.

Using this one right now, very good.
I'd use a guide for the Chocobo Hot and Cold items to save time. There's some really cool things there, and it's necessary for some side content. As for everything else, it's probably best experienced without spoilers with how the story unfolds, just save often.
Helpful hint steal from everything, Especially bosses they drop really rare items that are useful.
Buy the official strategy guide. Find out it contains no info on secrets. Sign up for a PlayOnline account.
If you want the full experience, this is the only way.

I haven't seen anything about this. The secret room seems to always be on the side of the medkits and usually has cheap items in it.
I may be wrong but I think that this room spawns only when you have the shop with the freezers, otherwise, if it's another version of the shop, it just doesn't seem to spawn... Someone can confirm it?
Push the panel open with an item. Seems to be there every time
Yeah, the room is always there but I only managed to find items on it when the shop had freezers, tried it only about 2 or 3 times with other shops environments and couldn't find nothing there, but I think it was just rng + bad luck
R.E.P.O, me conte mais sobre o flowers, o monstro secreto que distorce a realidade.
I've checked this out quite a lot with friends and so far we've only found human grenades and duct taped grenades up there. Both of which don't seem to appear in the regular shop
I have all of the main games in some sort or another and I am finally going to play through them and I want to know what guides are there for getting all of secret items and the legendary weapons that you have to do certain things to aquire I don't care if its a full guide or when you get to this area do this thing or buy this

I'm starting with IX because it came out on the switch while also starting with one because I have a NES classic I know the first one gets redone for more modern systems but I want the original
Jegged.com
finalfantasy.wikia should contain everything.
Are you a Recluse main, desperate for sweet magical loot?
Do your team mates all skip the towers, or worse run around them 5-10 times before giving up?
I made myself a cheat sheet to remind me of the key locations for the seals, and my preferred route to check them all. Hopefully it helps some other folks.
For a more detailed guide on each of the seals, I'd recommend Legacy Gaming's youtube vid:
I already knew all of this but for the people who are confused, the circle itself is the Rise.
You start reading at the bottom because its assuming you'll approach the rise from the front entrance. Then from there you go to the left of the entrance (assuming it isn't one of the options at the entrance) until you circle back to the front.
Assuming this is a normal Rise, you should've found the seal by now- unless it is the tree stump which moves. Then you might need to circle the rise a couple more times.
Like I said. I already knew all of this. So the chart was easy to follow. Dunno if this text dump made it any easier for other people.
Edit: personally I like the chart. Its more of a map than a flowchart though.
Thanks for the positive feedback. I think the reason it isn't working so well for people is that it assumes knowledge of the towers and the general locations of the seals.
Either the fact it's a map needs to be more clearly communicated, or I need reformat it so that it's more obvious for someone who hasn't built up the knowledge of the seals / towers yet.
This is by far the simplest and most informative info ive seen on this. It is literally a top down map detailing where to look and in what order. You can easily see to run clockwise and look for 2 things at each cardinal direction. I've been too lazy to watch a video and memorize it and now I dont because this extremely clearly shows everything id need to know.
I saw one very early on, first or second day, and never again since
Had to break 3 seals to get in, and the node was purple. I dont remember getting anything particularly good. Probably just guarantees a purple reward node
If you find the seal you shoot it ....... The door will tell you to look for the seal....... Once you break the seal you can unlock the tower ......... It's not tht complicated.
It took me a second but this actually feels pretty solid once you get your bearings. It's a top down view with the bottom being the entrance of the tower, so it gives you directional guidance about where each seal might be.
Sorry if it feels confusing to read! Did my best to condense the info down into something you could check at a glance to remind yourself of the potential locations with a rough sense of their spatial positioning. Admittedly, you need some knowledge of the seals first, so this is more of an aide-memoir.
Happy to take feedback onboard though, if it will help communicate it better.
You run through the seals to break them. This infographic is showing you all of the spots that the seals can be hidden. Some of them require you to attack/roll into the object to reveal the seal. OP has set it up more like a map showing you the location of where these things/seals will be located around the tower. So the bottom of the image is the entrance to the tower and the objects are oriented where they will always spawn outside the tower.
Definitely could be a bit clearer with that information though I agree. I think I only easily understood it since I already knew how to do the towers.
The arrows show that you usually will check in a clockwise circle around the tower. The circles are where the different possible seals are located
The normal tower only has one of these things. Seal above the door = break the seal and you’re done
Beautiful work. As a guardian main, I appreciate the DPS from my spellcasters (plus Recluse has magic concoctions that offer support to the frontline), so if I know i have a Recluse or Duchess on the team I make a point of swinging by at least one rise at some point in the run because that's where all the good spells tend to be. If I don't find something good for my Guardian, I'll pick something out for my spellcaster and drop it for them to check out, then stash some starlight shards for them just in case. Having a strong spellcaster makes everyone's job so much easier, especially mine lol
It's a flow chart of an overhead shot of a Rise, with the most efficient solve path from the front of the Rise. You start at the front and check the door for three options, if they aren't there, you rotate left to check the quickest two to active, then the one at the back, then the one on the right. If the door is open, there's two puzzles inside the Rise at the specified locations.
Loving the illiterate Americans trying so hard to comprehend a simple graphic lmao.
The post is purely the location of potential seals. If you don't understand the basics of WHAT the sorcerer's rise is/ why this information is important, then you need to READ THE VISUAL CODEX which tells you exactly how to open them without telling you the location. This knowledge is there if you look even slightly.
Hi just wanted to know if there are any hidden items or anything i need to know about. I just dont want to miss anything ahahahha.
OP, FF6 was THE game of my childhood. Nothing, save secret of mana, could prove as sacred to me (okay.. maybe chrono trigger)
That said, FF6 T edition is truly the game that could have been if the original had been perfected. You are signing up for what could be compared to having a chance to play this title again for the first time. EVERYTHING is expanded, including crapohla you'd not even have dreamt up in your wildest dreams and didn't know it needed (customizable outfits with actual gameplay impact...need I say more?)
So I implore you, go in blind. Forget the pixel remaster exists (yes I've played it) because THIS is FF6 with all potential realized.
With T-edition, I can comfortably say that FF6 became one of my favorite titles in adulthood now as well- don't read a blessed thing beyond this and just go play it! I will however leave you with one final tip... they knew folks could abuse save states.... it gets hard... keep multiple save back ups, you don't even need to thank me later when one of them saves you from getting soft locked in a fight you cannot win because even bringing your A-game, this one is not easy.
Good luck!
This is a very general question, but yes.
There is/are
Id also like to know.
There are hidden everythings in VI. In fact, I would go far and say something spoily: >!there are even hidden, missable characters.!<
นายพล เลโอ เหรอ พ ลาดทำเขาตาย
WHAT?
I am in need of some assistance from the fine people of this sub. I am missing a ps5 trophy for getting all hidden items but all the locations I have visited have been accounted for and it says online none of the hidden items are in one time dungeons. So could someone confirm that?
you probably missed something in a place you cant return to.
sadly, u have to restart again or load a different save.
look up a guide to help you find them all
That was what I was wondering I was under the impression none of the hidden items are missable that’s what PlayStation trophies stated I wanted to know if anyone could confirm this is the fact. ?
Off the top of my head, I'd say the issue is there are probably hidden items in areas that you can return to.. until you move on to the next world.
The guide you're referring to probably doesn't count these as 'no-return' areas because you don't lose access to them immediately like Karnak Castle, but, for example, there's at least one hidden item in the town of Walse, which you can't return to after you leave the first world.
on the world map itemz it should show the exact number of chest and hidden items you've opened
Yeah that’s my issue it’s saying I have everything.
Hello! I’ve played through FF9 a few times over the years;however, after recently using a perfect game guide for FF8 I realized how deep these games really are. I would like some recommendations on a guide that gives you 100% of what FF9 has to offer, including card collecting and the newly discovered quest from a few years ago, and excluding Excalibur 2. Thanks in advance for your recommendation(s)!
Ummm... what newly discovered quest from a few years ago???
The secret chest that spawns in Tantalus's hideout if you visit Lindblum between each event in Memoria during disc 4. You see a cutscene with a different one of the Zenero brothers/sisters each time until Zidane comments about it and then the chest with a protect ring spawns inside the hideout. It is repeatable un theory but there are not enough triggers in Memoria to get the reward a second time.
I remember just doing that and getting this back in 2005 ps1 disc. Had no idea it was a hidden quest, or hard quest, or whatever. Final Fantasy has taught me to check and do everything possible for any RPG/RTS games, as there will always be something hidden somewhere.
Interesting ..
There's also the 9th "missable" promist ring but that's more of a completionist thing, it's not tied to any sidequest.
I don't know if this has the newly discovered quest you're talking about, though I do kinda remember hearing about it. This is the guide that I used and still use if I'm ever not sure on something and I think it's pretty great.
It does ye.
I found this thread, looks like this guide is a good guide, but didn't dig too far thru the comments. Might follow that one myself!
EDIT: somebody said any guide before 2013 won't be true 100%, apparently there was a secret found that year that found a missing item or something
An entire sidequest was discovered back in 2013.
I think one of the best I used is the one at TrueAchievement that covers literally anything since there are many achievements tied to many things the game has to offer. Like visiting every beach of the game, finding all final weapons, all the Active Time events, and so on. I give a really huge in-depths of the game, with cool strategies and tracking of items and such. I would advice to give it a go.
Thank you all for the feedback! Very helpful.
Is there a list of every HIDDEN item in FFIV and are they any hidden items in the game that you can miss and not get unless you start over? I beat the game and this is the last trophy I’m trying to get to platinum. I did the two in the land of the summons and the sylph cottage which I thought would finally get me the trophy. I’m running around every where and can’t find any.
Masked Matador on YouTube has really nice platinum trophy guides for FF4, 5, and 6. They walk through the whole game and show all of the treasures, hidden items, and bestiary entries.
I don’t have a list, but based on my clear file, there aren’t any hidden items in missable areas; just chests. Sorry I can’t be of more help.
Did you also get all the Gysahl Greens from the Chocobo Forest and three hidden items from the Chocobo Village?
That’s good to know, I guess I will keep running around searching for the hidden items! And yeah I believe I did but I’ll recheck for those greens.
If that’s your last trophy then you’ve been to every location in the game. In each area (main, underworld, moon) you can load the map and cycle through the areas and you’ll be able to see how many of each area’s hidden items you have. That should narrow it down for you.
That wasn’t as hard as the 13 cubes in the Labyrinth.
I love how many hidden things this game has…
It’s either rng a campaign that has morrow parish with the mansion event and red throne or forgotten prison, then put which ever one you’re missing as adventure. Or treat the entire thing as hardcore.
Getting polygun, pulse rifle and nightweavers grudge is a bigger pain. This is an interesting secret though.
Where even is this???
The Lurking Dran event
Dran's dream is the most beautiful place in the whole game, even the wounderful singing jungle of Yaesha can't compare to it.
you can understand why that Dran doesn't even want to talk to you.
for Drans who live in endless suffering and darkness, this is indeed what they desire and nothing can be more beautiful than this.
Congrats mate! Craaaazy journey! PS beware of the explosives with amplitude…especially in co-op! Enjoy!
One day, I'd like to be able to find this place.
Lol. Just a few steps...
