I personally view them as the same. The first time I played as Mugman, I was so excited to see the different animations the character had, but once I got used to it, I feel like I play as him the same way I play as Cuphead

I love them both equally but I always play as Cuphead since I'm the older twin brother.

I just play with Mugman as I prefer blue. Don’t really notice a difference unless I’m in the map.

I only notice a difference at the start with the pre fight animations. I dont like mugman because he creeps me out when he drinks from his own straw.

I was so excited when i could play as mugman in the switch version, and i started out playing as him, but i like cuphead better because ive been playing with him since the launch of the game, it feels weird not being him

at first i used cuphead while fighting hilda or cagney..? i dont rlly remembered and struggled so much so i used mugman instead for a bizarre reason and when i used mugman i beat hilda/cagney in the 2nd try. thats why i never used cuphead again. i know its unrelated but another reason i used mugman is his animation before the battle when he spin around is so cute lmao.

As a Cuphead fan, I really like his character in the show, I don’t know much about his personality in the game, although his design is REALLY adorable =) I kin him (not in a weird way)

He gets crazier as the show goes on and I love that for him

Honestly, I really like him. He’s an underrated character so he should have more respect. But he is just so good in the show

Chalice mostly and cuphead. The only reason I don't play as mugman is cause he was roped into the situation unfairly so I want to make cuphead do the work

I mostly go as Cuphead, but for most of the DLC fights, the Devil, Beppi, and the Run and Guns, I go as my girl, Chalice.

I really dislike how they labeled Cuphead as Near Pure Good, and they listed "Getting angry at Saltbaker when he mourns his bakery being destroyed" as something keeping him from being PG. I mean, HE HAD EVERY RIGHT TO BE ANGRY AT THE PERSON WHO WAS GONNA MURDER ALL 3 OF THEM. They also say he's still arrogant after the DLC and the base game, and I HIGHLY doubt that.

They really had to put Cuphead in parentheses so that we wouldn’t mistake hime for Mugmen from other properties.

I find Cuphead more fun than Miss Chalice

I guess they just made him the main character & maybe it’s just because of the title being what it is, but it sounds better than Cuphead & Mugman Kinda like with Batman (animated series) instead of Batman & Robin

I used to like Mugman more because i like blue and because i was in a Luigi phase and he looked a lot like luigi. But with time, i started to apreciate Cupheads type of character more and more ( the problematic yet carimatic type).

Nowadays, i like them both equally, leaning a little bit towards cuphead.
