Yes! I played SMTV:V before and thought persona is boring because of daily life stuff. Turns out I was totally wrong. Finished p3R and immediately bought p5R after. 40hrs in so far and I am still not bored of the franchise

I played the original so I knew the entire story. Even so, they added extra content, better graphics, new music and the answer is a resounding yes!

P3R was my first persona game, and yes, its absolutly worthy, the gameplay is very good, the music its awsome, the plot is very good, all of the game is Just almost perfect.

I havent played the DLC because wasnt on my xbox gamepass, but As I heard, its also very good, so yeah, give it a shot.

Reload is by far the best version of the game. The fact everything is voiced is already enough but the style of reload is also just off the charts. It's worth every penny.

I would say hold off on getting persona 3 until it goes down by at least £20 to around £30 as it’s overpriced right now, there’s certain game mechanics that where used too early to allow you to shoot to max level really quickly, in addition there’s not that many features in p3re than there was in the original game, for example you can’t pick a female character you can only play as makoto.

For anyone who has played P3: is the story worth buying the game? I’m also new to series and have only played P5R. Also the graphics, reanimating, and quality of life changes look pretty sweet.

The games Not out yet no one knows. If you do like persona then you probably like it but like most media you need to experience it to figure out if it's bad or good to you.

If you enjoyed Persona 5 then you will enjoy Persona 3.

P3 is the best one of the modern games. Trust someone who's been playing the series since 2011. Game will be very worth it.

Persona 3 is a more intimate story than 5. It is an exploration of depression, apathy, and Nihilism and how people choose to respond. It is a slow burn that will draw you in with a myriad of social links that, while not with the party members, will give you an emotional ride that some still haven't fully recovered from. I don't want to hype it up by any means, I just want to be honest with you. Not only is this game worth buying, but if you invest your time and mind into it then you will get more than you give.

Absolutely not if you own an XBOX or PC, get a month of game pass (which is £1 if you don’t have it already) and play it (and anything you can play within a month) for essentially free.

Is persona 3 reload worth buying?
YES

If you can afford Persona 3 Reload, I would recommend getting it if you don't mind the price tag. It'll be hard to go back to og P3 after Reload imo cause it has Shift (baton pass minus the damage boost), and some other QoL stuff like being able to save without needing to do it in the dorm.

You can’t buy “persona 3” unless you have a PS2 and are buying second hand. Portable heavily stripped down the school life elements to work on the PSP and the things it adds are not worth much. Reload is worth its price unless it’s completely out your price range and then you should just buy P5R on sale instead.

The only piece of DLC for Reload that's really worth anything is Episode Aigis/The Answer (which isn't in Portable at all). Everything else is cosmetic and completely unnecessary.

1000%. Portable was always the worst way to play 3 and now it's just straight up EVEN WORSE because of how much better Reload is. The only advantage is playing as a girl but everything else is a massive downgrade.

Reload is Makoto's The Journey (Remake) and the expansion pass DLC features The Answer, which P3P does not have. You can ignore the other DLCs.

If you like persona 5 then you'd definitely feel at home with Persona 3 reload. It's my favorite persona game and probably has the best characters/social links out of all the personas

I’m gonna be honest man, everyone here is just going to tell you to buy it. If you want a similar gameplay experience with a whole different cast, theme, and style, then you should. If you don’t, then you shouldn’t.

35$ for a 100 hour game isnt that expensive imo. Episode aegis dlc is lowkey a scam tho. Base game 1000% worth tho.

Persona 5 Royal was my first Persona game and considered it my favorite game for years... until I recently played Persona 3 Reload. I can 99.9% guarantee that you won't regret playing P3R.

If you’ve never played the series I’d say start with persona 5 royal. It goes for much cheaper but honestly doesn’t feel much older than reload. If you like Royal then go for reload

It can be a time sink, but believe me when I say that your time is spent WISELY and you are paid dividends in an amazing story with amazing characters

if u have xbox and have game pass its free i CANNOT stress how good this game was for me seriously. i enjoyed 95% of the game and had no real gripes and the dlc was great as well and if u like and emotional story then man this is definitely the game

Yeah the story is very very good. But it takes a lot to actually start. There is also a dlc you have to buy separately but it's after main game so you can buy it whenever.

1. Do you like turn based combat?
2. Do you like anime?
3. Do you like to read a lot of text?

If no to any especially either 2 or 3, probably Persona at a whole isn't your franchise. If yes to all i'd recommend it

The dlc is a real grind, just constant tower exploration with some story bits here and there. And there's no social sim stuff. But the story is enjoyable and gives closure to it all.

I liked the dlc, but its essentially just more tartarus gameplay with some story in the beginning, some character flashbacks, with the majority of the intersting story/gameplay being at the last few hours of the dlc. I would get it when its on sale, but if you like the dungeon crawling part of the game, then you'll like it, otherwise you could just watch some yt videos that cover the story parts
