TL;DR Rare items in Skyrim include unique armor sets, weapons, and collectibles such as Daedric artifacts, Dragon Priest masks, and items from Solstheim like the Champion's Cudgel and Deathbrand armor.
Unique Armor and Weapons
Skyrim offers a variety of unique armor and weapons that players can collect. The Deathbrand armor set is considered rare and powerful, especially for those venturing into Solstheim [2:3]. The Ahzidal gear covers multiple slots and includes enchantments like waterwalking boots
[1:6],
[2:2]. Additionally, the Champion's Cudgel, found on Solstheim, is a uniquely modeled two-handed hammer with a strong enchantment
[1:2].
Rare Collectibles
For collectors, there are several rare items to display, including bugs in jars, Falmer eyes, and paragons [1]. Ancient Falmer Armor is another collectible item, although the crown must be spawned using console commands
[4:1]. Daedric artifacts are also popular among collectors, offering both aesthetic appeal and powerful abilities
[4:2].
Special Items from Solstheim
Solstheim is home to several unique items beyond the Apocrypha, including the Dwarven Black Bow of Fate and three dragon priest masks that enhance elemental damage [2:2]. These items add variety and power to a collector's inventory.
Quest-Related Unique Items
Some unique items are tied to quests, such as the Necromancer's Amulet, which requires specific actions during the questline to obtain [1:1]. Items from the Aetherium Forge are also noteworthy, as only one can be obtained per playthrough
[1:2].
Real-Life Skyrim Collectibles
In addition to in-game items, there are real-life Skyrim collectibles such as the Daedric Armor bust and the Skyrim collector's edition featuring a statue of Alduin [3:1],
[3:3]. While these items may not hold in-game value, they are cherished by fans of the Elder Scrolls series.
Hey guys!
I had an idea of doing a collector playthrough, I would go on and collect all claws, falmer eyes, paragons, bugs in the jars etc (tbh the recent posts gave me the idea) BUT, I want my character to use the rarest items. Not sure about 2 hand 1 hand etc, and will use smithing top improve them if possible. Basically whatever items I decide to use will dictate the playstyle.
Right now, Konahrik mask seems pretty rare for head. Deathbrand set maybe. Amulet of Saint Jihub or Necromancer amulet depending on the end build. Ideas?
Definitely check out the items from the Aetherium Forge, only one of them is available per playthrough. I won't spoil anything incase you haven't played it, but each one is pretty good.
The Champion's Cudgel (on Solsthiem) is a uniquely modeled two-handed hammer with a pretty great enchantment.
I mean all items that only have one in existence in the game are equally rare. So there will be a lot of options for each slot. Basically you will be using all unique gear.
True. Some items are harder to find, making them more.. special? more unique? I should have asked for the more unique items per slot.
Unique means pretty much the same thing. Anything that there is only one of is equally unique. And really not many items are that much harder to find in this game. Most weapons are at max a questline away from achievability.
So I would say just pick whatever unique items you want for your character. There is no ranking of how unique items are. I guess you could say Daedric or Aedric artifacts are items of the gods so that it pretty special. But beyond that there isn't really any other way to rank how special they are.
Ahzidal gear. I think it has every slot covered.
Wow you really didn't get the answer you were looking for here, haha.
Yeah, happens lol
The Necromancers Amulet would be the hardest and most unique thing you could get in the game, for your particular character. Unfortunately, that is also why you can't get it. As a collector your character would never sell that Strange Amulet to Calixto, and as such would never end up with the necro amulet. There is one way around this though, and that is if your character begins as a collector for Calixto, sells him the Strange Amulet, kills him as per the quest, finds the Strange Amulet on his body and then continues collecting things for himself because he became addicted to collecting after doing the job for Calixto.
After this, I would say rarest items would be nothing that is essential to a quest/questline, nothing that is a reward for a quest/line and nothing that is obvious and easy to find during a quest/line. So no Auriels Bow, no Gaulder amulet, no Staff of Magnus, no Emperors Robes etc. Windshear isn't really obvious, at least for me, I certainly don't wander around on the ship after killing the emperor, so I never found it before last year (played since release). Brylings armguards are unique to her, but you can only get them by killing her or using perfect touch perk - most people don't do either of these things, making her armguards very rare and unlikely to get.
Alternatively you could get things that are easy to get, but only use items that have a unique enchantment you can't find anywhere else. So, Auriels Bow and Shield, Aetherial Shield, Windshear again, Gloves of the Pugilist, Wuuthrad - these items have enchantments you can't find on anything else. But this would severely limit your enchantments. It would give you some interesting character traits though. Like if you have Wuuthrad, then you have to kill mostly Elves, or if you have the gloves of the pugilist, you have to be weaponless and use only punching.
Just two days ago I visited the Dragonborn Solstheim map of Skyrim for the first time in my life. Intriguing place, but more than that, I'm also a collector of items. I already got my eyes set on obtaining bonemold armor, hopefully without having to murder a sentry. But aside from Apocrypha stuff, are there some unique items to be gotten from this island?
Sorry for not using Google. Just really tired. I'd really appreciate your answers.
Off the top of my head
And some unique spells you can get by doing quests for Neloth.
As well as relics that give unique spells and casting perks! And the black books!
I think Pirate Deathbrand armor and weapons are on the island
I feel like typing this post took more energy than typing "dragonborn unique items" into google
lol. No man, I'm pretty weird. Typing these things is second-nature to me. But I'll guess I'll dig around the web.
Yes.
(I’m very very new to Reddit - I’ve only made one or two posts ever, if that. So I apologise if I’ve somehow mislabelled this post or such) I was curious if there are any high value real life items surrounding Skyrim (or the Elder Scrolls series in general)? Like, limited time figurines? Items created IRL? The first hard copies released? I figured that surely there must be a market for wealth Elder Scrolls enthusiasts who wanna collect some cool items. Are there any that you know of?
There’s a solid 10k gold ring of Mara, it’s worth a million dollars
But I’m pretty sure nobody can afford that though lol
There was a Skyrim collector's edition with a statue of Alduin on a word wall.
none that i no of i even looked it up and couldent find anything sorry i could not help
I think there's a Daedric Armor bust.
Hi everyone. Ive built my house and just thought I'd ask was all I should collect to display in the house. I have the armory, trophy room, enchanters tower. Would love yalls input
i collected every daedric artifact in the game and hung them all up in my house. i also collected hundreds of sweet rolls
I usually theme my armoury around the dark brotherhood, 5 dummies: Wedding outfit from Vittoria, shrouded armour, shrouded robes, emperors robes with aetherial crown and cicero's outfit. (BTW with perfect touch, pickpocket sanctuary guardians during cure for madness for like 13 sets of shrouded armour, same for Cicero without killing him)
Trap the souls of notable enemies and enchant amulets with their names as souvenirs.
bugs in jars.
Ancient Falmer Armor. (The crown must be spawned in with console commands and the rest of the set is on an enemy that you'll encounter by doing the main story of the Dawnguard DLC near the end).
That sounds like a good challenge run. I'd start a new char just to run all those quests again. I may or may not steal that list for you...
There’s a lot more out there, check out Camelworks YouTube channel and just start looking at his unique clothing, heavy armor, bows, shields, staves, etc lists. He doesn’t show u how to get them but I basically just right stuff down and go threw and look up how to get them.
Yeah he's got some good videos. I like the CCC on the soul cairn. Good stuff.
Some notes...
Not actually unique:
I didn't notice the following on your list (not saying they aren't there, just that I didn't notice them):
I have the two rings already also I didn’t know the herebanes stuff was unobtainable so thanks for telling me that, I’m not using console commands
I'm sure you sold at least one of those to the dremora merchant by accident.
*evil laugh*
Haha nice try but no I’m a perfect human being and definitely didn’t have to reload a save because I accidentally sold something
The last cool unique items I need to grind out on my level 1 character, sadly I can’t get some items because of level requirements
So I want to collect all the unique weapons, armor, rings and necklaces is there a website or list or something already made for me to follow?
Godspeed on your journey.
Yeah that unique items suck because the umbra armor isn’t in that or is that not unique
Ooh this would be a cool list.
I just learned that it’s worth keeping the shackles you have equipped at the beginning because they can be enchanted and they weigh nothing and don’t take up an armor slot.
Oh really that is cool
Hello, I love collecting rare items in every game. Are there unobtainable items that are worth to collect?
There’s a museum where you can see every item in the game, that’ll help you find the rare ones. I don’t know if anyone has got the “Magic Lamp” in Borgens Mercantile as it costs 9999 borgen bucks
The museum has an indicator for some items no longer obtainable
Do void bags change that (i.e. are those "unobtainable" items truly no longer obtainable, or can you still get them with void bags?)
No,, I've opened 1000s without filling some of the missing spots. Maybe I'm unlucky tho
Or it might be in the library page
The "We know card" is the item you are looking for. So rare that it goes for thousands of gold. But you can sell It after buying it and getting it in the museum.
How do you obtain this?
Some times, a random townsfolk drops something on your mailbox. There is a little chance of It being the We know card. That's the reason why is so rare.
There are some things which are seasonal so you can only get them at certain times of year but if you play for a full year you can access all items, though very old starter packs can cost a lot to trade for.
There are no unobtainable items, there are several rare or very rare items, which can be farmed, explored, fished or obtained as a result of the quest.
If you go to your profile there is a whole tab 'Items' where those will be shown.
25 dawg.
40 on blue rings though, so if you just wanted to max out your MF, go for blue rings
25mf but it needs two affix slots.
I want to say it goes a decent bit higher. Fetches a pretty penny too!
Rares max out at 25%. Blue ones at 40% so not sure what you're thinking of.
10/15 mf right?
45mf just blue?
Or is it 10fcr/25mf rare but worth a lot?
40 for blue.
Blizzard created a site called the arreat summit you can look these things up on https://classic.battle.net/diablo2exp/
Damn, thanks!
Thanks a lot that’s a great site.
Use maxroll.gg D2planner to find out
Bought a ring with 47 rarity 10 allres a 20ish single res and 100 life for 15 ex yesterday. So i guess yours is something like 5-10 ex? People absolutely want rarity right now
Things like this would be worth more if we could move runes
No runes on rings
ohh good point, but What I meant was you cant move your res around on other gear to make a item like this more attractive
compare to ventor's with similar resists I guess?
Get as much as you can get without giving up to much basically
Yes.
What does item rarity exactly does? I know that unique and gilded ones get enchantments but what's the difference between a rare and a common one? And also are common items so bad or I can still use them?
Pretty sure rare items are just a slightly better version of common items of the same level
Ok, thank you!
It’s the color of the frame around the item. You can use any rarity just fine
Oh alright, nice
Besides rare being a little stronger, there’s not much difference
