TL;DR
Bricklink
Bricklink is frequently mentioned as a top choice for purchasing individual LEGO parts. It functions similarly to eBay, where various sellers list their LEGO pieces for sale [1:2]
[2:3]
[4:1]. While it offers a vast selection, one potential downside is that you may need to purchase from multiple sellers, which can increase shipping costs
[4:2]. However, there is an option to buy a wishlist from as few sellers as possible to minimize postage fees
[4:5].
LEGO Pick-A-Brick and Bricks & Pieces
The official LEGO website offers two services: Pick-A-Brick and Bricks & Pieces. These allow you to order individual parts directly from LEGO, either by searching for specific brick numbers or browsing through available pieces [1:1]
[2:1]
[5:2]. The Pick-A-Brick section is particularly useful for basic bricks, but some specialty pieces might be harder to find due to discontinuation
[5:3].
BrickOwl and eBay
BrickOwl is another online marketplace similar to Bricklink, offering a wide range of LEGO parts [1:3]. Additionally, eBay can be a viable option for finding rare or hard-to-find pieces, although prices and availability can vary significantly
[3:2].
Local and Alternative Options
For those looking for second-hand or bulk LEGO pieces, garage sales, Craigslist, or local auction sites can be good sources [3:1]. Some users also recommend checking out third-party vendors like Brickarms and Brickmania for specialized accessories and custom parts
[3:4].
In summary, while Bricklink and LEGO's own services are the most commonly recommended options for buying individual LEGO parts, exploring alternative marketplaces and local options can also yield great finds.
I'm looking for a site that sells individual lego parts so i can make a lego model in one color and not 100 colors like it is now. If anyone knows I'm kinda interested if it's european so i don't have to pay for transport from USA
Bricklink.
Brickowl
pick a brick or bricks and pieces on the lego website
I'd want to build something but I'm afraid I don't have the pieces needed, is there a why to buy them on their own, or do I have to buy a set just for them ?
You can buy individual pieces from the lego website, but be prepared to pay for them.
Alternatively, just google pick a brick and your country and you should be able to find somewhere to buy bricks. It's generally cheaper than the lego website, however I believe they're mostly second-hand pieces so take that as you will.
Bricklink, which is like eBay for Lego. Lego owns the site, and people use it as a marketplace.
LEGO.com has a Pick-A-Brick, although if you need to buy large quantities, Bricklink will be cheaper although in worst case scenario you will end up having to deal with multiple sellers on Bricklink and that can drive up the cost to make LEGO's own Pick-A-Brick better option.. Just compare prices etc and pick one that makes more sense to you.
Bricklink, yes. Lego Bricks and Pieces, yes. Lego Pick a Brick, yes.
Not everybody will agree, but don't rule out eBay. I've filled up a couple or more Akro Mils from eBay purchases. Even now I am finding parts that are hard to get, or pricey, in BL, and cheaper on eBay. It's rare, but it happens.
The more you shop around, the more you'll know where to get what.
Those are four of five of my main sources.
The last one are bulk lots from auction sites and craigslist. They're the cheapest on a per-piece basis, but you get what's in the lot as opposes to the exact parts that you are looking for.
Yes I will try them out!
There are also a bunch of vendors that make 3rd party accessories. Brickarms makes weapons, brickmania makes war sets and tank treads, toywiz name of a company I can't remember is an asian based company that makes weapons, brickforge makes more medieval weapons and armor, minifig.cat (you can find on bricklink I think) makes extremely detailed weapons, thats all I can remember for now.
My go to is brickarms for price point, variability in weapon designs, and detail.
Oo! Handy link
Bricklink is one way. Pick a brick on Lego website. pick a brick at a Lego store. Also on Lego site you can buy parts from sets by going to replacement parts at the bottom of the page. Sometimes used pieces and buckets can be found at garage sales and Craigslist.
Thanks I shall have a look!
Where is the best place to find individual Lego pieces? I’m in need of specific individual pieces
Bricklink. Really, really Bricklink.
How do you navigate brick link if you only need a couple of pieces? Do I shop from different sellers and pay postage for all of them?
Yep, pretty much. I think there's an option to buy a wishlist from as few sellers as possible, but it's been a while since I've ordered anything.
Bricklink
Bricklink. Or Lego pick a brick.
So I was recently putting together my LEGO Minecraft collection and I was missing a lot of pieces and I was wondering if I could order sets directly from LEGO, how, and if there are any restrictions like pieces I can’t order.
Yes, if you go to Lego . Com, and click on the menu. In the Support tab there is a Replacement Brick section.
You can order bricks from specific sets or if you have the brick number, you can search it.
Some pieces might be discontinued or no longer available, usually animal heads or Steve/Alex etc heads and weapons.
Fair Warning, they take 4-6 weeks to ship to you.
You can also get individual pieces from brick link or ToyPro
Most of the pieces are basic bricks but the ones that I would have the trouble finding would you say be I have a skeleton head and a bow piece, along with the tnt printed piece.
Yes, Anything not from 2021, printed will be hard to get from the Official Lego store online. You can luck out, though. Some 2020 sets you are still able to get certain pieces.
But, yes, basic bricks will probably be available.
Bricklink is a great place to get small parts like this. They usually only cost a few cents
I recently lost a piece to one of my sets what trustworthy websites can i buy a replacement
Bricklink or directly from Lego if it's still in production.
As the other commentor said: Bricklink or the online lego shop. For a single piece you're probably gonna be cheaper on BL.
LEGO also doesn't necessarily have the piece available. But you can filter their selection based on the set you want to complete.
If you need help finding the piece on Bricklink you can use Brickognize.com to scan the piece (if you have a duplicate) or possibly even the instruction and get a link.
Alternatively there are piece identification threads on reddit.
I plan on making some custom sets.
bricklink
Awesome, thank you.
Try brickowl too. Bricklink is usually the better choice though but brickowl normally shows the postage fee upfront.
Thank you.
I find it more user friendly so it’s usually my go to.
Also try Lego’s bricks and pieces (on lego.com) (not pick a brick) it has a really good range. (No licensed pieces though).
Do you have any good places or sites to order specific pieces in specific quantities?
Also somewhere to make custom mini figures would also be greatly appreciated!

It depends on what you're looking for. Pick-a-brick through the official LEGO website works great for a lot, if you're looking for something really specific that's only part of a few sets or is really specialized then you're best bet would be BrickLink or BrickOwl. Custom minifigures are harder. There are a bunch of Etsy stores or companies like Brikzz.com that sell minifigures, but it depends on what you're looking for.
I ordered a used set and broke a couple pieces while deconstructing it on accident, where’s the most reasonably priced place to buy replacement parts?
I would recommend the pick-a-brick on the Lego website itself if they have the pieces you need. Makes it so you get fresh pieces and you’ll also get VIP points.
Also, since since the pieces broke and are from a certain set, you can try searching here under “broken bricks” for the set number and it should show you all the pieces they have from that specific set.
Brick link and Owl Brick are two of the more popular websites. You can also buy direct from Lego
Where to buy individual LEGO parts
Key Considerations for Buying Individual LEGO Parts:
Official LEGO Store: The LEGO Pick a Brick service allows you to buy individual bricks directly from LEGO's website. This is a reliable source for genuine parts.
BrickLink: This is a popular marketplace specifically for LEGO enthusiasts. You can find a wide variety of individual parts from different sellers, often at competitive prices.
Brick Owl: Similar to BrickLink, Brick Owl is another marketplace where you can buy individual LEGO pieces from various sellers. It has a user-friendly interface and good search functionality.
eBay: You can find individual LEGO parts on eBay, but be cautious about the seller's reputation and the condition of the parts (new vs. used).
Local LEGO Stores or Hobby Shops: Some local stores may have bulk bins or allow you to purchase individual pieces. It’s worth checking if there are any nearby.
Facebook Marketplace or Local Buy/Sell Groups: Sometimes, local sellers will list individual LEGO parts or bulk lots at reasonable prices.
Recommendation: For the widest selection and often the best prices, I recommend starting with BrickLink. It’s a dedicated platform for LEGO parts, making it easier to find exactly what you need. Always check seller ratings and reviews to ensure a good purchasing experience.
