TL;DR Focus on building versatile Personas with auto skills, physical damage, healing capabilities, and elemental coverage. Prioritize survivability and skill utility over raw damage.
Versatile Persona Builds
In Persona 3: Reload, creating a versatile set of Personas is key to tackling various challenges in the game. Players often opt for builds that include auto skills like Auto-Taru, Auto-Raku, Auto-Suku, and Auto-Rebellion to enhance their combat effectiveness [1:1]. Incorporating Life Aid or Invigorate can help sustain your character during long battles. Additionally, having a mix of physical skills with critical rate boosts and AoE attacks can expedite Tartarus climbs
[1:1].
Elemental Coverage and Healing
Having Personas that cover multiple elements is crucial for exploiting enemy weaknesses. For example, Black Frost and King Frost are popular choices due to their diverse elemental skills [1:1]. It's also essential to have a dedicated healing Persona equipped with skills like Dekunda and Dekaja to remove debuffs and keep your party healthy
[1:1].
Balancing Stats and Skills
While focusing on damage output is important, balancing stats like VIT (Vitality) and AGI (Agility) can significantly impact your survival and overall performance [2:1]. Some players prefer hybrid builds that emphasize DPS/EVA (Damage Per Second/Evasion) rather than tanking, as it allows for quicker enemy elimination while maintaining mobility
[2:2].
Utilizing Fusion Tools
For those looking to optimize their builds further, using fusion tools can be beneficial. Although there isn't a straightforward fusion calculator for Persona 3: Reload, tools like aqiu384's Megaten Fusion Tool can provide insights into skill inheritance and persona combinations [4:1]. Experimenting with different fusion recipes can lead to powerful and unique Persona builds.
Advanced Damage Strategies
For players seeking high-damage builds that can carry them through multiple playthroughs, focusing on specific weapon combinations and crank builds can be effective [5:2]
[5:5]. Techniques such as using the Bone Cutting Saw with Krat Police Baton Handle or Bramble Curved Sword Handle can maximize damage output, especially when paired with charged heavy attacks
[5:5].
I'm on 10/1 Thursday.
And so far, I have learned a lot about Persona building on Persona 3 Reload.
Like Physical Persona builds, which most of the time consist of having Physical damage boost skills, critical rate boost skills, Physical attack skill of your choice (whether it be Single-Target or Multi-Target), and Weakness cover skills.
I had progressed far in the game, so I wanted to address some of my doubts about the necessary/essential skills for persona builds and the Build types players usually opt for.
Some of the build types I want to go for:
*Auto Persona, which, if I'm not mistaken, most of the time consists of having the Auto-type skills like Auto-Tarukaja or Auto Mataru, maybe Regen/Invig skills, plus cover weakness skills?
I would appreciate knowing more about that.
*Buffer-Self Persona, which should include the 3 most essential skills: Charge/Concentrate/Heat-Riser. Also, using Spell-Master along with Insta-Heal for lesser SP costs and quick recovery from Ailments.
Please let me know if I should consider other skills for this type of Personal-Build.
*Healing-Support Persona, mostly consisting of Salvation + Samarecarn, with Spell Master for lesser SP costs, maybe adding Ma-Kaja skills like Marakukaja for other buffs for the team.
*Debuff Persona, possibly involving Debilitate and Ma-Unda skills like Matarunda for massive debuffs.
*Protection + Null Buffs/De-Buffs Persona: a Persona involving Tetrakarn+Makarakarn and Dekunda+Dekaja.
To protect me and Team-Mates from getting damaged and nullifying any Buffs/Debuffs from Shadows.
If there are any other Persona build-types I should be aware of and the essential skills that should come with them, let me know.
I hope this post doesn't confuse anyone, so let me know if I need to clarify something better.
Any help is very much appreciated.
Thanks to anyone who replies :]
I'm just after 4th full moon I think
You are pretty much spot on I guess?
My persona currently is:-
Auto skill. This persona only have auto skill. Auto-Taru, Auto-Raku, Auto-Suku and Auto-Rebellion. Also included Life Aid on them or Invigorate. I forgot to add Revolution on thjs guy.
Physical skills. All the crit stuff. Life Aid and I prioritize AOE for faster Tartarus climb.
Healing. All healer skills + Dekunda + Dekaja + Life Aid.
Elemental persona. I have Black Frost with Dark, Fire and Ice. King Frost with Ice, Light and Lightning. Clotho with Wind, Almighty and Spirit Drain. Black Frost and King Frost also have Matarukaja and Marakukaja respectively.
I personally feel like I should focus on DMG or DPS for fast progression. I chose to sacrifice DMG for skills in hopes for a smoother Extreme Playthrough my 3rd go round.
I’m attaching initial build & modified build for info or critique & suggestions.
Gonna main & alt equipped wep categories until 100% playthrough before Extreme attempt.
Brutally honesty encouraged…
So can I ask why you kept your defense so low? I mean I did for a while too but I made sure to make my defense at least 2700, also I respect the abyssal garment fit I have it on my character too and it's just honestly really cool, but yeah I suppose your going int builds so your more a support character and if your a sniper damage wouldn't be something you plan on taking so i guess it makes sense in that regard I've just gotten knocked down too many times from low defense so i guess I'm just asking why from personal experience.
The first build was more balanced than anything. Definitely lacking in the Defense area ik. The most i’ve seen is maybe 2300..
I find that lack of skills makes it difficult to kill efficiently/quickly. when taking damage from multiple enemies is gonna wipe me in 3-4 seconds regardless.
I don’t favor tanks in any RPGs/MMOs, So I always go for DPS/EVA or Hybrid builds.
Suprisingly, my most recent build is med-INT for lv 3 Stunner & Armor Break. But 200+ DEX/71 LUC is proving efficient to clear in PT. I still have yet to clear a dungeon solo.
I still have learning to do.
That's absolutely fair in all honesty my Arfys is more the tank healer having 3100 defense and the higher int stat, i mainly went the frontline attack type with smgs and the photon sword duel equip with applying more buffs and debuffs
I’m only lv136, so I don’t really have the CP to spread across 4 skills yet. My INT is gonna stay the same for a while. Maxing DEX atm. CRT isn’t something necessary to max in my opinion most of the time. So I’m trying to level skills enough & see where I need cap for skills. VIT vs. AGI is my debate.
Even this recent build is only 35 VIT & 45 AGI.
Hmmm.. You using a sniper? Focus on luck and dex... I think is a good idea... If you want good dmg... But if you want a suggestion... Buy exp boost weapons and accessories either use them or put the chip in your weapons until you have enough points to make a pure build... Your too early to think about max dmg etc...
I’ll test a build later. After Komugi Hayabusa & lv225 Abyss Guide. I need a mental break. I’m not even 50% max lv. I have plenty of work to do. Thanks. ✊🏽
your still early on that DMG isnt a Important Factor as long as you keep the general weapon progress of around the Weapon Ranks that drop you'll be fine. Prioritize Survivability and Skills before anything else if Survivability isnt needed than Skills > DPS
Thanks lots.
what game
SAO: Fatal Bullet
that on the switch? or what is it being played on
sweet thankyou ill look
I've beat the game a few times now, mainly because I was screwed out of a trophy by one day, bloody shinya, and haven't stopped since. However I was thinking about the personas that I have now and what I've done with them. That lead me to wonder what the best ones are, outside of the obvious like a completed yoshitsune and reaper farming Sataneal.
I would like to 2nd this question to anybody listening. As someone who fused Satsneal 25 minutes ago and am already disappointed in his Almighty ability's I was wondering what is the next best thing
When you say that you fused Sataneal did you just do the base fuse or did you follow a guide. I fused with the guide so I could farm the reaper on day 1 mementos on ng+. Besides Sataneal I'd say yoshitsune is the best for general utility provided you get him with all of the resists.
Based on balance of Resistances and Stats, I'd say a Grimehkala gun build. But some more on stats like a Berith gun build, a Genbu magic build and more exists.
The thing is that, due to the Gallows, especially, you're not going to see, like, really specific "best builds". Base low-level Personas can be built for better stats, while base high-level Personas typically come with a lot of resistances and few, if any, weaknesses.
So in most cases, it's really just a matter of finding a set you like getting them the passives that will boost their damage and remove any Weaknesses they might have. Everything else is gravy.
There's no straightforward fusion calculator so before setting out to making these builds, I took a look at ideal personas based on defenses and types (for learning skills). I plotted out strong skill sets I thought were practical for a merciless ng+. Any adjustments or recommendations, minor or major? Any tools or pointers will help!
Edit: This is in regards to Strikers
WDYM by there's no straightforward fusion calculator?does this not work?
From my understanding, https://aqiu384.github.io/megaten-fusion-tool/p5s/personas, is the tool applicable to persona 5 strikers rather than persona 5 royal, which eliminated the recipe generator. It was my impression that factors including skill inheritance, p5s exclusive skills, ng+ exclusive skills, removal of confidant levels, and available personas for fusion, altogether restricted the p5r recipe generator from being incorporated into the respective p5s fusion tools. However, I can make due, as my main question pertains to if the skillsets for each respective persona are viable for a merciless run on ng+. Thanks and I'll take a closer look at the recipe chart as it may help with if not all, at least a few of these builds ;)
Ohhh, didnt see the edit about it being strikers and not Royal, hope you end up making some good builds tho
Sorry if there were reposts, it was telling me there was an error so I would make alterations that I thought were in accordance with the guidelines and resubmit. I did not realize even after being given an error message they were still being posted regardless. Again, my apologies
I can’t get past the green monster on ng+ and need a build that can carry me through multiple new games with relatively low effort
I can respec my level and P-organ if needed and don’t have a preference between motivity or technique
Tech/Adv will carry you through most of the late game bosses by just replacing the blade of a Acidic Spear Handle to suit your needs. As an example, Laxasia is completely shredded by Acidic Spear and Green Monster can be punished by either using Salamander for Phase 1 or Coil for Phase 2. Since throwables also scale with ADV, those will also be more useful-- but it is good enough without it.
If you really don't want ADV, then I found that either a Crit Build with Proof of Humanity or a Strength Build with Wrench + Krat Baton will do you wonders.
That being said, I'm still finding that Frozen Feast is probably the most damage you could do on a single hit without fable use.
If it's your first playthrough (I'm sorry I might've missed it if you mentioned it) Living Puppet Axe with a different Motivity Handle (either damage increase, Crit, or something whose moveset or fable you like) is likely the most accessible.
If you prefer a Crit built, City Spear Handle + Tyrant's blade is your guy (Crit+damage increase).
I don't personally have a lot of experience with Arc and Trident, but people also swear by those.
I feel like advance builds get slept on a lot. It’s my go to for the most part. And there are some fun combinations you can do. Electric chainsaw head on the coil handle just rips through puppets.
Probably because barely anything "scales" with it since very few handles scale with ADV. Admittedly ADV shines the most as a dual stat, rather than on its own. Maybe that's also part of the reason since some people aren't really here for multiple playthroughs.
I personally likely wouldn't use ADV as a first playthrough stat, but it's also my staple NG+ and above. It's practically free damage on grindstones, after all.
That being said, it's amazing for any weapon that has double Motivity/Tech scaling, since you can just slap an ADV crank on the weapon without affecting the other two stats, like on PoH.
Flamberge, Pandemonium, and Fulminis also go BRRRR with ADV lol.
Such a good stat.
Bone cutting saw with krat police baton handle strength crank/build or bramble curved sword handle technique crank/build. Just spam charged heavy’s with either. I prefer the latter
I use the bone blade with the bramble handle but with motivity, cleared my first play through with it once I got it have a hard time not using it now
Multiple NG+ with low effort? Do you want to play the game or is this like a requirement you have to fill or else somebody is going to kill you or something
I just want to get all three endings and be super overpowered, I’ve already played the game once before and just want to have fun in these extra play throughs
motivity, wrench + police baton or Simon ergo weapon.
Bone cutting saw is my favorite thing. It's such good damage. And my go to on all my NG+ runs. Can't remember what handle I'm running.
can anyone explain me how builds work? i followed a tutorial about a thanatos build with morning star, almighty amp and spell master but i didn't even understand what i did. i searched online but didn't find a tutorial or something that explains it even a little
Honestly, you don't need to have thousands and thousands of hours to make you a build, just use a persona calculator, the calculators will have all the information you'll need, from the recipe of a persona to what abilities they can get. Normal but hard way is this: you'll want to know what you want the persona to have and that it doesn't learn by level (for example a Odin with zio boosts) the way to get it is by looking at the recipe of one of the persona needed for the fusion and knowing what they can learn, if neither of the persona used for recipe learns zio boost then look into the recipe of the recipe until you find one that does learn it and you can just fuse it with another one until you get a persona that is needed for Odin, it sounds like a lot of work, and it is trust me but it helps a lot that the persona calculator also has what personas have and learn certain skills by default so you can just go for Odin and look at the fusions for one persona in the list that shows personas that have zio boost.
Now the easy way? It's literally just slapping the skill cards onto the personas. As someone who likes using other people's builds I had to learn by myself how to do them so it can be done
how do i use the persona calculator? i tried to do something on that site but i end up always lost not knowing where to click
https://aqiu384.github.io/megaten-fusion-tool/p3r/personas
In the website you got a few sections in the top, there's persona list, skill list, and recipe generator, those are the ones you should focus on. In the skill list you can check what personas learn which skills and at what level (if they don't already have it by default), the way you want to build a persona is by checking who has the skill you want on the persona you want to build, let's say bash for instance which a few personas have it or learn it on a certain level like Orpheus lv 4, ara mitama lv 6, forneus lv 6, etc. the way I do it is by going into the persona I want to build for example berith, when you go into berith you can see in the bottom "reverse fusions" that one of the recipes is a forneus lv 7 and a onmoraki lv 8, you then proceed to do it, if the result is not berith like you want, it means you either don't have the arcana rank needed or the lvl of the personas is either too low or too high so you must look for an in the case the lvls are too high an alternative fusion. in berith list of recipes there's more recipes rather than just forneus and onmoraki, there's a slime lv 12 and nekomata lv 3 but neither of those have bash so what should you do? You should click on either one of them and check their recipes, for example you check slime and see their recipes and guess what on one of the recipes is ara mitama has bash, so you fuse ara mitama with the other persona which in this case it'll be apsaras and you'll get a slime and make sure to pass down the skills you want like bash, then when you have a slime fuse it with nekomata and you'll get berith and pass down bash.
That's my way to do it, now with recipe generator I generally don't use it but you can literally select a persona and the skills you want on that persona and it'll give you the fusion path with what lv the personas need to be for the fusion to work.
https://aqiu384.github.io/megaten-fusion-tool/p3r/recipes can give you the steps to create a persona with X skill
but when it comes to skill mutation stuff you'll have to figure that stuff on your own, the gist is that X arcana + Y arcana always = Z arcana(ie fool + magician = hierophant)
and fusing two persona of the same arcana will make a lower level persona of the same arcana, jack frost + jack o latern = nekomata
that site also has the chart so you can cross reference what arcana combinations makes what
thank you. so for example, if i need to transpher some skills to orpheus and then messiah, i need to watch which arcanas give fool and then downfusing to orpheus keeping the skills i want right?
either that or put the skills on a death persona and make thanatos but yeah
you can turn any persona into arcana through enough combinations, for example emperor can't be turned into a fool persona but it can be turned into a strength persona and that strength persona can be turned into a fool one
I'm gonna be honest here
People who make those build videos have hundreds of hours of playtime, all spent on just remaking personas over and over again just to get something like victory cry simply because atlas made the dumb decision to make mutation only skills a thing
The way they work is that someone spent days smashing their head against their keyboard grinding skillcards from the reaper to give your persona that one extra buff they don't even need
Basically my advice: don't bother with the builds, if your doing the elizabeth fight just fuse orpheus telos and just Google the ruleset or something other than that these big over the top builds are absolutely not needed and just ruin the fun of combat
i clearly see and agree with your advice, i'm only interested in those builds because i'm a mad man who is in ng+ to obtain the platinum and thought "let's forge the best personas out there". i didn't think it would be this difficult min maxing, other than thanatos with null light, morning star and almighty amp i don't have any other builds. hope that i can beat elizabeth
For reference let's just say your on merciless difficulty and you know the rules of engagement (if you don't I beg you to Google it because the game does not explain it to you and if you break even one of them she will just instakill you)
Keep track of her health, use a calculator or something Start the battle with an auto buff persona (any works but I used scathach as she gets 2 of the 3 auto buffs naturally, the other you can skill card it or fuse it onto her). Every different persona she uses changes her weaknesses and strengths so take advantage of those (id recommend just Googling it because it would take hours memorising her attack pattern) Try your absolute best to skip phase 2 (when her hp is between 13000-10000) because she uses an insta kill megidoloan near the start of phase 2 so get her as close to 13000 health then try to kill her quickly if not use a persona with the enduring soul skill to survive with full health Once you get her down to 10000 she uses a diarahan and another megidoloan so swap to another persona with endure this time Finally work her health back down to 9999 or below and use armeggedon
That's how I did it anyway on merciless and it was just painful because I didn't Google the rules beforehand
I wish you good luck fighting elizabeth and I hope you have a better time than I did with the fight
neither do i man, getting null light on thanatos took too long just for me to overwrite my save with a merciless NG+ save
i just followed a tutorial for null light on thanatos, it took like 5 mins. i'm sorry to hear that it took you really long. right now i'm trying to understand how to get victory cry on messiah. from what i red it comes only with skill mutation and skills mutate in their rank or in more rare cases one rank up. i have a rank 9 skill on messiah so right now i'm farming reaper hoping that its exp will make my messiah reach level 98 to get null phys and hope to mutate in victory cry
i dont blame the tutorial more that throughout the game i tunnenled on personas i wanted rather than getting multiple to fuse into builds, so i had to get everything for thanatos x2 because the first time i fused hom but then didnt have the money to rebuy the personas for him and level them with the moves needed because i though moves would be easier to get like in pokemon, also had him forget things like null fear which almost fucked me to any ista kill move
Using the infinite resolve half of my first walkthrough gave me severe skill issue, now I struggle a lot if I don’t have any resolve on me, since everything pretty much dies in two hits even yourself all my high damage and high hp armors are useless as well, so far the Ghost armor with the Sarugami armor have helped me so far but if I don’t get any resolve such as when you respawn in tales I pretty much turn useless.
Would appreciate some builds/set-ups recommendations.
You can try infinite heavenly strike build, works in overworld and duels, only thing is to watch out for arrows and unexpected hits
You can choose any armor you want, but I recommend staying away from Sarugami if you want to polish your dueling skill. Sarugami will increase Perfect Parry/Dodge window from 0.1 seconds to 0.183 seconds - almost double the original value. Hard to practice with such a huge window.
Go with Mizu-no-Kami; the bonus is smaller (0.1 sec to 0.133 sec) but that's good since shorter window means you can practice your parry timing closer to original.
The most powerful charm in this build (and the entire game) is Versatile Skills. This will double the effect of all your minor charms, as long as they belong in different categories (Melee, Ranged, Defense, Stealth and Utility).
Inari's Might gives you +20 melee damage and +20 health at max charm level, but Versatile Skills will double these bonuses to +40 melee damage and +40 health. Fyi, a fully upgraded Sakai Katana VIII has 70 melee damage, so equipping those two charms will increase your sword damage by more than 50%.
Silence has false description; instead of -15%, this charm will give you -20% enemy detection speed and +30% resolve gain. Just like Inari's Might, you can double its effect to -40% detection speed and +60% resolve gain with Versatile Skills.
Rejuvenation gives you 0.1 resolve every second during combat until you have 2 resolve (or 4, with Versatile Skills). Not very useful during normal fights where you can get more resolve than you ever need, but extremely powerful during boss fight.
Resolve II gives you +25% resolve gain or +50% with Versatile Skills. Combining this with Versatile-Silence will push your resolve gain past the 100% threshold. This is important because a lot of actions such as parry will give you approximately 0.5 resolve. The difference between 0.9 and 1 resolve is night and day: you can't do anything with the former but you can heal or use Heavenly Strike if you have at least 1 resolve.
Check my thread if you want to see more details on the numbers.
Does the charm of Versatile Skills affect major charms if they are in minor charms slots?
You can't put major charms in minor charm slots.
Major charms don't count, so they will neither disrupt nor benefit from Versatile Skills.

So was able to beat both the arena and the first run of the game using this build
Now my question is should i change anything because ng+ and ++ are obviously going to be harder right?
Note id sometimes change the moonlight for ether the lance or the pulse blade but aside from that ive never changed anything about this build recently
The only real difficulty spike comes due to more multi-AC fights, plus one mission in NG++ where you might want more explosives (but only for one specific mission) - honestly you’ll be totally fine taking this all the way to the end.
Could probably choose a better FCS, and a bigger generator wouldn’t hurt for better mobility in those aforementioned AC fights if you’re being picky!
Not really - while there are a handful of new/alt missions that can have difficulty spikes, NG+ and NG++ especially are overall easier and you'll find yourself breezing through a lot of it.
Instead I'd suggest trying new build styles to see what you can learn from & enjoy about them!
And by best party member I am mostly referring to how they are in combat, their skill sets and their synergy with the group.
Im not too far in but so far I can't decide between either Junpei or Akihiko.
Speaking of Junpei, not necessarily related to my question but I've heard that Junpei is OP now. This true? Im quite curious considering that he fell off hard bout halfway through the OG P3
Akihiko get's double the effects from buffs, so an attack buff on him (whether casted by him or a party member) is 2x as powerful. Super potent, what he loses in utility he makes up for in raw damage. His theurgies also deal high damage.
Yukari is a mainstay on the team, good damage, great access to support and heal spells, Masukunda is really fucking useful, especially for golden hands, and her passives from hangouts make all of her healing spells cost way less, meaning she's pumping out Mediarahan's like they're going on sale while still having more than enough MP for damage. Her theurgies are also pretty good, her damage one does good damage, and she can give Concentrate to the whole party with her other theurgy.
Koro has Debilitate, Rebellion, and can give Charge to the whole party, and with how broken Physical is in this game (especially Slash based Physical builds as all Slash boosting and crit boosting passives also boost Scarlet Havoc, making it capable of dealing more damage than Armageddon, I personally had it do 13k damage once) he is a must if you want to put out the most stupid amount of damage possible. He also has Dekunda, pretty useful. EDIT: Koro doesn’t get dekunda, Aigis does, Koro is however still a fucking amazing party member
Junpei is supposedly a crit machine, personally haven't had much luck with him but on paper and from what I have heard he has the ability to crit like it's going out of style. Slash is really good in this game so him being mainly slash focused helps. I have however found that his theurgies aren't that potent :( I may just be using him wrong though.
Mitsuru deals a lot of magic damage even without concentrate that it's silly, and she has an almighty damage debilitate theurgy, giving her concentrate is great. I would say that instead of giving her her ultimate weapon that gives Magic Ability, you instead give her Snow Queen Whip which gives a Magic Stat boost and Ice Amp, since she doesn't learn Ice Amp naturally this is extremely helpful. I also suggest giving her the Spell Master trinket. With this setup she deals a shit ton of damage.
Aigis is a good all-rounder that has access to amazing buffs and deals good damage, only issue is that Aigis and Yukari share a weakness, and since Yukari basically should never be removed from the party, this is an issue, but it's not too bad since you can get equipment to dampen the effects of Lightning on Aigis.
Queen Fuuka is awesome, all her theurgy effects are really good (Full SP Restore, Full Party Heat Riser, Full HP Restore) and the ability to just get the entire weakness spreadsheet of an enemy is really amazing. She can also give you a Defense and Agi boost at the start of battle, a must have for bosses and Golden Hands until you have access to Auto-Ma skills.
Ken is the only one I really don't like skill wise. Heat Riser is neat but since it only affects one party member he might end up just spending his entire time casting it. His Karn skills are useful but I had so many items that did the same thing it didn't matter. He is better at Lightning Damage than Akihiko outside of theurgies though and he has light, so that's neat, and Dekaja is pretty useful. He is my least used Party Member as what he does, another party member does better imo. He can heal but Yukari can heal much better, he can deal damage but he's not the greatest at it, he can use Makarakarn and Tetrakarn but there are enough items with the same effect that it doesn't matter, and he can buff with Heat Riser but since Fuuka can full party heat riser, and Aigis can give both Matarukaja and Marakukaja, I feel he ends up hurting in that aspect as well.
Junpei will really start to shine in the late game once you got him his crit Amp and give him something for apt pupil, which are on his best weapon or a charm for him,I ran him with Yukari and Aigis with a primarily Slash crit build for myself and he was able to keep up with me in terms of damage, and hit crits pretty often but maybe I'm just lucky (played on merciless)
As for theurgies,Hack n Blast (if I'm remembering it correctly) is good for just more damage and I've have had it almost always crit, where blaze of life is better for using him as his pseudo tank he can play with his high endurance (though not as high as Aigis) and Marakukaja
I run Auto Mataru, Auto Maraku and Auto Masuka on my primary persona and Aigis can rebuff entire party in two turns as opposed to the impossible 4 of heat riser. So I agree it's not as useful as a lot of people think. I also love the synergy between Aigis and Yukari so I don't mind shared weakness And basic damage type especially once you have gear options.
Yukari definitely got heavily buffed. Up to 75% reduction to recovery skill cost and full party concentrate are very good.
Yukari is insane. Both her theurgy are nuts and charge so fast on bosses because she's typically healing. Her trait to reduce SP cost on heals is equally broken.
Is one of reasons she pairs with Aigis so well, Aigis uses HP to do insane damage and charge two cool Theurgy and Yukari can then cheap heal to charge two cool Theurgy.
P3P I kept her in the party because she was the romance. P3R I can’t help but keep her because of he medic skills.
Ken's 2nd theurgy definitely looks better on paper than it actually is in-game. Almost any situation where you need the revive is also a situation where Ken is likely the one that needs reviving because he's made of paper. It's the kind of thing you keep in reserve because you're too afraid of using his theurgy bar on just damage and then when you need it Ken is dead and has lost half his gauge. Also the reflect is often pretty useless as most lategame enemies null or even drain their damage element. One of the only exceptions to this is the Reaper so Ken is actually pretty useful for cheesing the Reaper fight early. And even then better make sure you have a big enough homunculus stack because the Reaper loves spamming Mamudoon and Ken is weak to dark.
Yeah Ken is incredible useful in hard fight /long drag fight like Reaper or some of Arcana boss or Nyx itself.
Eh, I feel like Yukari ends up covering that while also outputting good damage, which helps end fights faster and requires less healing and revives.
Plus I have literally never been in the situation where this would’ve been an absolute lifesaver, I’m sure there are uses, I just never found it useful enough. And the sp thing never bothered me in the first place as clocks exist and sp items aren’t as rare as in other games (I have 6 somas lmao) plus it’s really hard to run out of sp in a fight outside of Merciless
Koromaru is pretty much always in my party. Lowers every enemy’s accuracy and evasion at the start of battle, debilitate, full party charge, and best boy.
Junpei's crit dmg/rate boost from his personality makes him a pretty good damage dealer and if you give him any equipment with more crit boost then he'll become even more of Da Man than he already is
Make sure to farm the reaper after youve goten the armaggedon theurgy,(you need helel and satan in the compendium) armaggedon will do 9999 damage to the reaper everytime and nuke it in one hit. If ya wanna build personas a certain way using this site.
https://aqiu384.github.io/megaten-fusion-tool/p3r/recipes
Id suggest using the first block of tartarus and physical persona skills to build up theurgy and healing items (not skills) if you want to keep build making, an accessory id suggest equiping is the avaricious amulet which increases the exp gain by 50%.
great advice :) thanks
