TL;DR
Overnight Diaper Recommendations
For overnight use, many parents recommend Huggies Overnites due to their high absorbency and ability to keep babies dry throughout the night [3:1],
[3:4],
[3:11]. These diapers are often used in a size larger than daytime diapers to ensure extra protection against leaks. Pampers Overnight is another popular choice that has been effective in preventing nighttime disturbances due to wetness
[3:9],
[3:12].
Daytime Diaper Preferences
During the day, regular Pampers and Huggies Little Movers are frequently mentioned as reliable options. They provide good absorbency and comfort for active babies [3:2],
[3:5]. Some parents also use diaper creams like Aquaphor or Vaseline at night to protect the baby's skin from potential rashes due to prolonged contact with a wet diaper
[3:1],
[3:3].
Diaper Choices in India
In India, Pampers Premium and Mamy Poko Pants are favored by parents for their softness and fit [5:1],
[5:2]. FirstCry is noted as a good place to find deals on these products, making them more affordable
[5:2]. Additionally, Cuddles Diapers and Softsens wet wipes are other options that have been positively reviewed by parents
[5:3],
[5:4].
Cost Considerations
The cost of diapers can vary depending on usage and brand preferences. While some parents find it difficult to estimate a monthly budget, others suggest looking for deals online or in bulk to save money [5:1],
[5:2]. It's important to consider both the quality and price when selecting diapers to ensure your baby stays comfortable and rash-free.
Have some sympathy for Bret guys, Triple H ended his WWE career and Goldberg ended his WCW career! He has every right to say what he wants!
When in doubt, bury that bitch
Please, this is the Hitman we're talking about.
Let me tell you something about Paul “Triple H” Laveck. Everybody talks about Paul “Triple H” Laveck, well there’s one guy that can beat Paul “Triple H” Laveck and it’s me
He prefers to just be called “Triple H”
Heh. Tell him to say to my face. Say it to my face, PAUL “TRIPLE H” LAVECK.
Especially when it’s no secret that we steal animals milk too for pretty much everyone in all societies to consume in some form as well.
Why should we, as babies, have to go drink in the toilet, because people might notice our mums boobs, like why should we suffer, this affects literally everyone
Exactly, it's stupid. Which makes it 10th dentist approved.
As a dentist, I can confidently say my colleagues and I have never come to a consensus on the “best” toothpaste.
To say that “mother’s milk is the best food” is an oversimplification with subtle implications that can stigmatize parents who do not or cannot breastfeed. Modern formula is just as good and it can’t be understated how taxing breastfeeding can be, physically, on the person who’s lactating.
But more to your point…the stigma against breastfeeding in public is stupid. But the bathroom scenario you bring up isn’t all that common (at least where I am). Lactation rooms in public areas are becoming fairly common which is nice even if we were to destigmatize public breastfeeding since some people would still feel uncomfortable being semi-exposed that way.
Practical support for BF is often very poor from health services; lack of maternity leave and loss of generational knowledge means breastfeeding is a lot harder for many mothers than it would have been in the past.
However that does not change scientific facts - study after study shows breastfeeding is more beneficial for health. It says it in scientific textbooks, from the WHO, from health organizations. Formula companies even have to print it on the tins. Consider also that there is a big profit motive for the benefits of breastfeeding to be minimized.
Modern formula is not as good for the baby as breastmilk - it provides adequate nutrition, but it does not have the immune benefits of breastfeeding, among other things.
So, your facts are correct, but the implication is overstepping. Fed is best, and for some people, that means formula, or a mixture of breastmilk and formula. Not every parent is able to exclusively breastfeed for as long as might be ideal. If someone is taking good care of their child, and feeding them formula, then the child is well taken care of.
Socioeconomic factors attribute to most of that. Youre more likely to breastfeed if you have more money and our kid is better off because of the money, not the breastfeeding really.
I tried sooooo hard to breastfeed both of my babies, had trouble pumping, needed formula and am so grateful it exists BUT I can even still admit bf is better and I hate what the formula industry did worldwide
Every medical professional I've talked to has stated that breastfeeding is more beneficial than formula. That doesn't mean formula isn't good too, just that one is better than the other.
Because Americans have trouble with the idea of breasts being used for their biological function rather than sexual stimulation. They prioritize their personal preference over the legitimate needs of an infant. Because moms stopped breastfeeding openly and the culture sense-dead impact was lost. If kids grew up seeing random people breastfeeding their babies it would feel normal to them and they wouldn’t freak out as adults.
And children wouldn’t think a thing about it if people like you didn’t indoctrinate kids into thinking their bodies are shameful and nudity is a sin. It’s a frickin body. We all have them. Boobs are for feeding babies. Men make them into a sexualized part of the body.
As a mother with a young baby, there are not many lactation rooms when you are out and about.
Should breastfeeding women just stay at home for several months?
Or just let the baby cry with hunger, rather than offend some randomers sensibilities?
How is one supposed to breastfeed a baby/toddler without them seeing the breast? I have a baby - the WHO recommends to BF to 2 years - do I need to put a blindfold on her maybe after 1 year or so?
My baby is 11 months old, size 4 diapers. We like Huggies Little Movers and Millie Moon is ok too. I'm changing her diaper at least 2x if not 3x overnight. She sleeps about 10 hours. Huggies used to last all night, but I'm guessing she's just getting bigger and her volume is bigger?
I want her to stay dry, so I don't mind changing them, the problem is she's starting to anticipate a diaper change and is fully waking up and it's hard to get her back to sleep.
Do you use overnight diapers? If so, what brand do you like?
I use regular Huggies during the day and Huggies overnight at night. I notice a big difference when I put her to bed in a regular diaper vs overnight
We just use normal Pampers. My daughter is 15mo and the standard pampers have been no problem handling 11-12 hour overnights! Wondering if we should get overnights, though, after reading these comments...
My LO is 9 months old and we use regular Pampers as well. He sleeps 10-12 hours a night and doesn't have leaks. I do use diaper cream nightly though to protect his skin from rashes.
I third this. Pampers cruisers + diaper cream has never led us astray. I will say since my baby is extra long we have to size up (size 6 at 16 months 😫), if your baby is routinely leaking through diapers at night you can also consider sizing up to see if that’s working for you better
yes we do the exact same! my son is 12mo and has been sleeping through the night consistently since around 5mo. regular pampers swaddlers and diaper rash cream nightly. never been an issue
I felt the same way! Have a 19 month old that does fine in pampers for the 11 hours....
Yes, we have used overnight diapers since 6ish months with my oldest. We've had good luck with Huggies Overnites. We typically have them the size up from her day diapers. She's a little over 2 now and in Size 3/4T pullups (similar to Size 4 diapers) and we use Size 5 Huggies Overnites.
same we have been doing 1 size up of Huggies overnight since 6mo!
Huggies overnights is definitely the answer!
I really like Huggies overnight because they're unscented and soooo absorbent. Seriously some mornings it's like a softball.
OP, the related thing I found is that using a coat of Aquaphor or Vaseline can really prevent diaper rash from sitting in the same diaper for 10+ hours. We call it the dinosaur goo diaper spa.
Yes we love them! Using Pampers Overnight for my 9.5 month old since about 6 months and has no wakes for diapers changes. Game changer.
We’ve used overnight diapers since my kids were doing 12 hour stretches from a very young age! Pampers overnight has contained it all!!! If it leaks, then the size is too small.
DeFi in 2025 isn’t just about high APYs or overhyped protocols, it’s about real tools, real rewards, and real ownership.
The best platforms today don’t just let you hold tokens, they let you use them across chains and in real life. That means swapping, spending, topping up, and paying, all without giving up custody.
The Zypto App isn’t just a wallet, it’s a complete non-custodial, multichain ecosystem for people who actually use crypto every day.
Here’s what it supports right now:
No KYC required for core features. No custody. Just control, flexibility, and utility.
Every action you take in the Zypto App contributes to the ZYPs rewards pool that powers the $ZYPTO token.
When you:
...you’re powering the Zypto ecosystem.
If you hold $ZYPTO and register in the Rewards Hub, you can claim ZYPs daily, with no lockups or staking required.
Then spend those ZYPs back on services, instead of selling your main holdings.
It’s a full-circle reward loop, built around real usage.
If you believe DeFi should be usable, not just talked about, then start with the wallet and token that’s already focused on DeFi.
DYOR, but the difference between speculation and utility has never been clearer.
Collecting zyps has become my favorite part of my daily routine
Hi Reddit! I’m a proud new father to a baby girl and I’m looking for recommendations on essential baby care products.
Specifically, I’d love advice on:
Best wet wipes for newborns (gentle, rash-free)
Diaper brands that are soft, absorbent, and leak-proof
Average monthly cost for diapers and wipes in India
Any tips from experienced parents would be amazing! Thanks in advance and She is one month old.
Mother's Sparsh worked great for us. It was neutral and not aromatic so I think it's good to avoid unnecessary rashes.
For diapers - our daughter was a premie so we started off with Pampers because it had the smallest size which we needed. Later on we moved to Mamy Poko pants. I don't remember why but Pampers gave her rashes at about 3-4 months. We continued with Mamy Poko pants till she was 2.
On the cost side - FirstCry gave decent deals for us on wipes and diapers. I remember checking in Metro for the same diapers and FirstCry was cheaper.
Cuddles Diapers
Little's Baby Wipes
Softsens wetwipes
Congratulations man! Daughters can be such a blessing!!
Thank you
Diapers we use pampers premium and wipes of any brand available in appollo pharmacy/Bigbasket, Chicco is a good one coming to mind right now.
It is difficult to tell average monthly budget for these as it will be dependent on how much you use them.
What's your favorite brand? So far I've just tried what we got from the hospital and gifts. The hospital has Huggies and we were gifted Pampers. I do not like the Pampers. Sure they seem nicer with the higher back on the bottom but my lil guy just fidgets out of them and it's harder to see if he pooped in them from the way they grip around his leg. I'm not gonna look a gift horse in the mouth tho...I'm just gonna use them until I run out. We also were given Kirkland's but those are a size he's not yet big enough for. What is your favorite diaper that you swear by?
Rascals! They're so soft and almost leak proof (we've had 2 and they were monster poops nothing could have stopped lol) My girl is long but skinny so at 12 weeks she's still on size 1s but no other brand comes up high enough at the back but size 2s are huge on her everywhere.
Another here for Rascals. We had family buy diapers and wipes for the gender reveal so we got to try all kinds of different brands for free when our son was born. Pampers just feel cheap and sagged when he had the smallest tinkle, Walmart brand is just 🤮 but have been a saving grace when we’re short on cash. Huggies are second IMO but nothing compares to how well rascals fit my boy.
I second the Rascals! I’ve tried Huggies, Pampers Swaddlers, Parents Choice, Honest, and Luvs for our 6 week old. Pampers and Rascals are hands down the best but Rascals are softer and fit better while also being more adjustable since he’s in between newborn and size 1 right now (he was born 6lbs 4oz). I’ve had no blowouts with the rascals and they’re crazy absorbent.
Rascals is my favorite too!! They fit my long skinny baby very well (has to bring the straps pretty close together is all), they were so soft, and absorbed everything so well!!! They also felt dry to the touch whenever my baby peed
Unlike most people, I actually really like the new Kirkland’s diapers. They fit my baby really well (long and lean).
I also like Millie moon. They’re super soft, but the sticky part that attaches to the front of the waist sometimes folds in and sticks to itself when I try to secure it, which is only a minor annoyance, but still annoying.
Coterie are my absolute favorite. They’re sooo soft and I feel like they provide really full coverage. But unfortunately I can’t afford to exclusively use those.
I don’t think there is any one brand that’s best because it depends so much on what fits you baby’s body shape the best and how their skin reacts. Try a few of the most mentioned ones on here. Buy small packs at a time so you’re not stuck with a ton of one kind that you end up not liking, and also to avoid them outgrowing them before you get a chance to use them all!
This is solid advice and pretty much what I was planning on doing. As of right now I've just done the Huggies and Pampers and my fave between the two is the Huggies. Not a large enough sample set to be sure. The main store I grocery shop at primarily sells Huggies, pampers and honest. I don't often go to Target and I never shop at Walmart. Costco and Sam's club are too far a drive to go out of the way for diapers. I'm willing to shop at target and Walmart for diapers if the brand is really good and I like it. I might stop in there and get a few small packs of each of the ones mentioned here and see what works best.
After Huggies worked and got rid of the rash we refuse to try anything else lol. Her poor booty was sooooo bad from like right after birth until like 2 months I think then we realized to try a different brand and within like 2 days it started improving.
Huggies!
My girl got pampers in the hospital and got a wicked rash from them. I also feel like they never fit that great. Huggies seem to be perfect.
My son also got terrible diaper rash in Pampers until I switched him to Huggies. My little guy is a chunk and I found the legs on pampers to be too tight for him even in the right size.
Huggies fit my baby the best. Unfortunately, the little purple tab started rubbing her legs raw when she started crawling. So we had to switch. I went through a lot of different brands and eventually landed on Dyper! They fit so well, they’re soft, I like that they have no design as the designs always show through white clothing
Once Kirkland switched, Huggies!
Same here! Started with Huggies and he leaked through every single time. Switched to Millie Moon and no issues now.
What diapers did you find worked best for your baby during the newborn to 6 months age?
I think it probably depends on the size and shape of your baby but Huggies, the Red box, was always the best for our son
Huggies (the red box, not the white box)
Another vote for pampers swaddlers at that age! After 0-6 months we moved on Millie Moon & Huggies.
Do they not have pamper swaddlers for older ages?
They do! They have up to size 8, but we switched once she started moving for a better fit for her body. She was a chunk. Huggies had basically like a flap to catch blowouts on the back inside (not if they still do- I would recommend looking into that). It was really helpful once they get up & move around a lot.
3 weeks in and haven’t had any issues with Huggies skin essentials! It’s a brown box 🙂
We switched to these from the swaddlers and much prefer them.
Pampers swaddlers! Still use them for my 1.5 year old. We didn’t like how elastic the waist band with Huggies is, and it’s hard to keep the diaper in place while you’re putting it on.
Huggies fit my daughter the best always have. Always loved Huggies and really liked their snug and dry version. Then they changed how they're made and not even 12 hrs later she developed a rash.
I am trying Pampers Pure as she has sensitive skin but I hate how they fit her.
Any other brands that are good for sensitive skin that fit similar to Huggies ? I thought of trying the Huggies skin essentials but now I'm scared to even try with this recent issue. Plus I'm mad they changed their diapers to begin with! Ugh.
Huggies skin essentials do not have the new liners. They are by far my fav diaper
This is what we switched too after the liner change up. Not as good, IMO, but works better than pampers for us.
I hate how pampers fit and the way they stick to her skin.
I'm so tempted to try them but I'm also wanting to boycott Huggies for switching things up ha.
I was tempted to boycot them too but they are the only ones that fit my daughter well.
We switched to Millie Moon from Target and love them even more than Huggies.
And you switched from Huggies?
Yes! Loved Huggies until she started getting rashes!
We switched from little snugglers to the skin essentials and are very happy with the skin essentials. They’re so so soft, like even softer than coterie in my opinion.
And no recent changes to how they're made? The snug and dry were great but they changed them to be "softer" and they didn't have a blue liner but she still got a rash.
I would try Millie Moon. Slightly different fit but boy do they keep my kid dry and it's so soft.
Dypers seemed to fit like Huggies at least when he was younger
My 13 month old has gone this long without a diaper rash. We have always used Huggies but I noticed they changed their design and now my baby has this diaper rash that seems like is never going away? Just when I think it's gone it comes back. I also use the Huggies wipes I'm not sure which one is bothering her and this point I wanna change the whole brand but I have an entire box of diapers that's still not used. Are any of you experiencing the same thing with Huggies?
i saw a post a couple months ago where they noticed huggies changed design , and their baby also started getting diaper rashes . i think they switched manufacturers or decided to cost cut by using cheaper materials .
We switched to Huggies Skin Essentials
I use cloth but I’ve seen A LOT of people having issues since Huggies changed them
If the box is unopened, you might be able to exchange it in store. Or use a liberal amount of barrier cream after every change until you run out.
Only other thought is are you sure it's a diaper rash and not an infection?
We’ve been using Huggies for 2 years with no issues and about 2 months ago noticed that Huggies were causing rashes. We’ve tried a few other un scented brands with no issues. We usually buy in bulk and thankfully didn’t have to throw any out as we just ended the box but it’s so frustrating. We should be able to trust diapers are not going to cause severe rashing.
I cannot remember what kind of diapers I used in my first born.. he had super sensitive skin, I think lost newborns do. My son used Kirkland after he grew out of the newborns. Since kirkland changed their diapers, they suck!!! So what’s everyone using for their babies?
Pampers or Pampers Pure. Available everywhere and affordable!
We also only use pampers. Tried our local drugstore's brand, but the blowouts were horrible. Our daughter is 1.5 years old and pampers is 10/10. We use the Pampers baby dry variant.
Pampers were a must with my first. It was the only diapers that would keep his explosive poops under control. Every other brand was not working. Also they have the cutest designs.
Meanwhile Pampers resulted in daily blowouts for us. Definitely depends on baby’s shape!
I found the pampers to be loud/crunchy.
It’s so baby dependent. we use Huggies. We used coterie for a long time but they changed their materials. We also used pampers and Millie moon and those seemed to be too thick or soft or idk but they gave my baby the worst diaper rash
millie worked good for me until he got to 3mo then it started giving him a rash, switched to rascals and it went away
The NICU my son was in used Huggies, so that’s what we use primarily. We’ve shopped around a bit and also had no issues with pampers and parents choice. The only ones we’ve had issues with were up&up. They cause a little skin irritation, but even then it’s only when we use them for several diaper changes in a row
Cloth pocket diapers here.
My baby has very sensitive skin and we were gonna do cloth at home and disposables out of the house. He was in the cloth diapers for a week right after his stump dried up and fell off. We needed to head out and when I put a disposable on him he got a chemical burn/bad reaction almost immediately from a disposable diaper. We haven’t looked back at disposables and work great for me and my family
Millie moon if you have target, Rascals if you have walmart. They’re the same just different names. Never had any issues with them especially with baby boys that pee through diapers like crazyyyy. Also great for chunky babies! Those are the only ones his butt cheeks didn’t hang out of lol.
Im having a girl! But my son was 9lbs at birth and my girl is measuring big so I make big babies! Im definitely expecting a chunk. Are they expensive?
I usually get Rascals because I don’t have a target that’s super close and they’re one of the cheaper diaper options!! I’m pretty sure Millie Moon is a bit more expensive than rascals but still not as much as Pampers or Huggies. Love the wipes for both the brands as well.
best diaper for babies
Key Considerations for Choosing the Best Diaper:
Absorbency: Look for diapers that offer high absorbency to keep your baby dry for longer periods. Brands with multiple layers or gel technology often perform better.
Fit and Comfort: A good fit is crucial to prevent leaks and ensure comfort. Check for stretchy waistbands and leg cuffs that provide a snug fit without being too tight.
Material: Choose diapers made from soft, breathable materials to reduce the risk of diaper rash. Hypoallergenic options are ideal for sensitive skin.
Size Range: Ensure the brand offers a wide range of sizes to accommodate your baby's growth. Proper sizing is essential for effectiveness.
Eco-Friendliness: If you're concerned about the environment, consider biodegradable or eco-friendly diaper options that minimize waste.
Price: Compare prices and consider the cost per diaper, as some brands may be more economical in the long run despite a higher upfront cost.
Recommendations:
Pampers Swaddlers: Known for their softness and excellent absorbency, they are a favorite among many parents. They also feature a wetness indicator, which is helpful for new parents.
Huggies Little Snugglers: These diapers offer great leak protection and are designed with a soft lining for comfort. They also have a pocketed waistband to help contain messes.
Bambo Nature: If you're looking for eco-friendly options, Bambo Nature diapers are highly rated for their sustainability and performance, making them a great choice for environmentally conscious parents.
Luvs: For a budget-friendly option, Luvs diapers provide good absorbency and leak protection at a lower price point, making them a practical choice for everyday use.
Choosing the right diaper often comes down to personal preference and your baby's specific needs, so it may be worth trying a few different brands to see which works best for you and your baby.
