Cute! Makes my inner nerd happy.
I noticed the figurines are almost all male though, is that true? I would like to see more representation of all genders in all fields, no need to indoctrinate kids in any direction.
Thanks, glad you like it! 4 women and 3 men in the build but it can be expanded and personalized as you wish. I actually made the point in my update 1 to the lego idea...have a look, I am sure you will appreciate it 😉
Cool to hear from the designer here, I already found (and voted for) the set some time ago. Really love the artwork on the walls. The coffee mug in the lab though…
Important point, luckily I see multiple figures of different gender and colour.
Love this!
I love this!
My sister would love that! Supported
Thanks! 🙏

Is that a coffee cup and donut in the lab area..?
Long hours in the lab 🧪🧫... 😂😉
It's so awesome! I've been supporting it for a while now. I hope it gets more traction soon!
Thanks a lot! ☺️. If I had a vote on the lego idea webpage for every upvote here in reddit... 😋🤗. We will make it 💪🏼

Can you upload the design on rebrickable? I would happily pay for the design and parts list.
I am sorry but I can't at this stage. Spread around the voice in your lab 😉 for some support to the IDEA! thanks a lot
I just finished building the chromatography build and my lab loves it. I plan to get the cell culture one as a gift for a grad student leaving soon.
Loved building this set. More people who enjoyed the micro builds of these STEM essentials or did you miss anything they should have added?
I can't wait to put this in my U.S. History classroom.
Sounds good. Might follow that example in my university as well.
Ummm, not to be nitpicking here, but since this is a STEM set, the DNA could at least have the right helicity.
Haha I asked for improvements for a reason

It needs a bat!
If you look at my update #1 on the Lego ideas page, there is a bat, in the shirt of a scientist 😂
Love ya! 😘 😆
I want one!
Thank you all, glad you like it! 😊
omg that's so cute!
That's so cool! I love the little details like the paintings on the walls and the doughnut and the cell cultures. Very well done. Is there no way we could put together a parts list even in the event Lego doesn't run with this idea?
No windows? Looks accurate
I love the tree outside that no one can see, because there are no gosh darn windows.
As cramped in space as one might expect!
Supported! ❤️
Supported, couldn't resist being a labrat.
So I'm a Male adult with no kids just wanting to get my hands on some lego after seeing lego masters (damn that advertising works).
Are there any suggestions for any specific sets I should look into more than others? Are the classic sets worth it?
Any feedback is appreciated.
I think that the creator expert modulars are pretty fantastic diving in for adults sets, they're both challenging, and a ton of fun. Even as an adult both the Ninjago city and Ninjago docks sets were absolutely fantastic and full of fun little building tricks and Easter eggs. And always check your interests and see what kind of sets they have in those, cars, comic books, movies, cartoons (the Ghostbusters fire house and Voltron come to mind)
Personally I’m a huge fan of the architecture line
I have fallen in love with architecture!
Look fantastic on display. Not too big. Nice and challenging. Interesting techniques.
I stayed away for too long due to my misconception that "it's all smaller parts, won't be as fun as playable sets. " I was SO wrong!
Oh yeah I’m currently trying to collect all of them! I just got fallingwater and that was a super fun one for me
Follow your interest and trust yourself to know what you will like. Do you like cars? Motorcycles? Space? Ninjas? StarWars? Fire trucks? Princesses? Helicopters? Dinosaurs? Jungles? Trains? Christmas? Architecture? Do you want to follow the instructions, and do something tactile and relaxing? Or do you want to freely build a new and creative thing all on your own?
If you answer some of these questions, I might be able to guide you better.
I suppose Wild west, dinosaurs, jungles would be cool. Also don't mind the look of the city type buildings.

I feel like following instructions would be a good start for me since it's been a long time since playing with Lego however I also wouldn't mind doing some free builds on my own which is why I'm thinking do I buy a specific set followed by a classic kit to compliment it?
31058
Get the Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom sets. They're about to be out of stores, and all of them are nice little builds. The T-Rex one comes with a nice dinosaur transport vehicle, and the mansion in the Indoraptor one is a great setpiece. Also, there's a Jurassic Park one that's pretty fun. After all those, I'd say get the Jurassic World Indominus Rex Breakout (set # 75919) and them save for the new ones coming out this fall, plus the new visitors center that's soon to come around.
31058-1 Mighty Dinosaurs. Good for some parts or great to display. Costs less than 20 bucks.
My son is two and had me build all three dinos multiple times this weekend.
I may need to buy another set so he can play with the T-Rex & Pteranadon at the same time.
ALL OF THEM!
I love this set so much. Such a fun build. I love making all of the little furniture pieces. Are the modular building sets like that? I’d love to do more builds but don’t want to do tv show themed stuff.
Beets. Bears. Battlestar Galactica.
Bears. Beets. Battlestar Galactica.
I'm just getting back into LEGO now and I'm overwhelmed with the choices. What are the most fun sets in the last few years worth buying?
Medieval Blacksmith is among my favs
Except for the tree. I've got big sweaty hands and threading those flower studs was HARD
hahaha well, I skipped the tree altogether and replaced it with parts from the bonsai set :)
in fact, I created a little diorama ona 48x48 baseplate with the blascksmith, the tree and hundreds of green flower stalks I got at pick a brick!
I second this. Loved this set.
The Tumbler. It looks almost exactly like in the movie. I love this set.
the $40 version is a steal
What do you like about it? Also, the Batman would not approve of stealing.
Saturn V
My first set in 40 years. That was a fun one. A lot of important details, interesting techniques, and quite challenging.
Pirates of Barracuda Bay
Ninjago City Gardens, has unique and innovative builds for every room
