What Redditors are Saying

Best Gaming Mouse for League of Legends

TL;DR

  • Logitech G502 and G305 are popular choices due to their quality and features.
  • Razer Deathadder Elite is favored for comfort and responsiveness.
  • Consider your hand size, grip style, and personal preferences when choosing a mouse.

General Considerations

When selecting a gaming mouse for League of Legends, it's important to focus on what feels comfortable for you rather than the specific game. The same principles apply as with any other game: consider your hand size and grip style [1:1]. Many users suggest that you don't need an expensive or specialized mouse for playing League of Legends effectively [2:2].

Popular Mouse Models

Several models have been recommended by users across discussions. The Logitech G502 is frequently mentioned as a top choice, praised for its popularity among professional players and its overall performance [3:1], [4:5]. The Logitech G305 is highlighted for its wireless capability and good battery life, though it may be slightly over budget for some [3:6]. The Razer Deathadder Elite is another favorite due to its comfort and responsive buttons [3:5], [4].

Features to Consider

For MOBA games like League of Legends, having a mouse with light and good-quality buttons can be beneficial, especially if you engage in frequent clicking actions [1:3]. Side buttons are also useful for binding summoner spells or other in-game actions [2:3], [4:4]. It's advisable to avoid mice with heavy clicks, such as certain Zowie models, which might not be ideal for rapid clicking [1:3], [1:4].

Personal Preferences and Alternatives

Ultimately, the best mouse for you will depend on your personal preferences, including how the mouse fits your hand and your grip style. Some users have found success with less conventional options like the Redragon mouse or even basic optical mice [2:3], [3:8]. For those interested in trying something new, lightweight and spammable mice like the Lamzu Maya X have received positive feedback from players with similar hand sizes [5:2].

I don't really know much about mice, that much, but does anyone know the best one to play league of legends with?

Tbh you don’t particularly need a great mouse for league. Just make sure you don’t get too caught up and spend too much money. Just find a shape that will be comfortable for you with some side buttons.

I'd probably look for something with light and good quality buttons, I'm no moba player but jitter clicking seems to be a thing in those games. I'd stay away from zowie mice as they have pretty heavy clicks especially on the ZA and FK series. And would recommend something from Logitech as they have some of the best buttons and clicks across alot of their mice. Aside from that its just a matter of finding a shape you're gonna be comfortable on.

There's really nothing special about MOBAs to any other game. The same rules still apply when looking for the perfect mouse for you and not the game. Just figure out your hand size and grip style and go from there

The g403 was the best for me. The clicks just make the experience so much better. Right click is crisp and durable and the left click to confirm uninstall is reliable as anything.

any. Its a moba game you can play with literally anything at top level. If you're buying strictly for league, save your money and get 10$ mouse.

Honestly, whatever is comfortable for you. I've used two different mice (logitech G502 Proteus Spectrum and the Logitech Mx Performance), and to me, it didn't feel much different in comparison to how they feel different in an FPS. Also you can choose your preference based on what type of mouse buttons you may use for actives/toggles. For league, i got comfortable using pretty much only my keyboard so it doesn't make a difference for me

Just to add: slickdeals/Best Buy has been having sales on Logitech items like the g502.

Amazon listed it at $35 but I think the deal the last couple days brought it even lower

I had the same issue a while ago. Been using the very first Naga model and my mouse wheel broke. I dont really like the naga models currently available, they all felt way cheaper in terms of production value than the one I owned and used for almost 7 years or so. I got myself a Roccat Nyth and I have to say it is an amazing mouse. Works like a charm and you can change the side buttons to your liking.

Which mouse should i chose for league?

Posted by KristofGoldzik · in r/leagueoflegends · 7 years ago

Hello, i was thinking about changing my gaming mouse from Deathadder Chroma (that i really liked to use) to some other new one. Main reason why i want to change it is beacouse mouse wheel don't work properly so i wanted to ask you which of these mouses are best in your opinion. The main game that i m going to play with this mouse is league of legends so i don't look on a FPS mouse or smth like that. Logitech G403 Razer Deathadder Elite Steelseries Rival 310 Steelseries Rival 600 Razer Naga Hex V2 Or maybe some other ones that you pref.

As a mouse enthusiast who can play and pass 5.5 star songs on osu with mouse only (and cant pass 3 star songs with mouse+keyboard cuz im a fuckwit) I like to think I have a good ethos in mouse related questions. At the moment i'm very happy with my razer goliathus mousepad and my logitech g503 spectrum. There is no difference from spectrum and core except rgb's and the tuneable weight shit the g503 offers is stupid for me because I can't see ever wanting a heavier mouse. I think you really really cant listen to any suggestion saying BUY THIS BRAND! or BUY THIS SPECIFIC MOUSE!. You really have to think about some dumb nerd shit like how you hold your mouse, what parts of you are anchored when you're using your mouse. For example as a 2400 dpi player across any game I play, fps where i need to snipe accurately or osu, I anchor my wrist to my mousepad and control my mouse in a fingertip/almost claw (I cant really fingertip the g503 without a small portion of my palm touching) and basically do all of the fine aiming with my fingers and all of the moving like minimap moving with my wrist (still anchored most of the times).

The single most important decider in mouse buying in 2k18 for any somewhat recent mouse is that you buy one that fits the mold of how you use mouses if you've gamed for long enough that its too difficult or overwhelming to change. If you're a fingertip gripper like me the deathadder is a fucking awful choice because its way too big clunky and heavy. Forget about the sensors, Definitely forget about crazy, have them just to have them and brag as a company, dpi highs like 16k dpi (that is basically impossible to use as well as lower dpi's for everyone with the limtiations of human fine motor skills),and try not to care about if it lights up pretty or looks the part. Go for something that fits your hand above all.

Mouse for a league of legends player

hey,

19x10cm hand gamer here, been using a palm/claw hybrid grip slightly more towards claw lately, playing mostly MOBA/mmo-rpg/rarely FPS.

I've been using ss Rival 3 for about 7 years now, i finally wanna try sth new, maybe wireless.

Looking for something lightclick, spammable, preferably with comfortable M4 and M5 buttons.

thanks for help

Thanks! I was honestly thinking about ATK X1 series (cause of similarity to Viper V3 pro), lamzu x maya or the new Scyrox V6/endgame op1. I know the polling rate isn't that big of a deal in league, but the super-lightweight mice seem promising.

Best mouse for League?

Posted by Poopydic69 · in r/leagueoflegends · 2 years ago

So I’m new to league. I have a Logitech G Pro X Superlight. It’s a great mouse for a lot of games, but I think I need something a bit more ergonomic. After spam clicking for a couple of hours I feel like I’m getting arthritis, and I think the mouse might be a bit too small for my hand.

I’ve been looking at the G502 X Lightspeed Wireless, but it’s on the pricey side. I wanted to get some second opinions before I bite the bullet.

Depends on too many things. Hell I'm 6'3'' 245 and have oversized hands even for my own frame. Me trying to use a lightweight mouse feels ridiculous.

Like trying to use a PS4 controller.. broke 6 of those things before I ditched the console... bring back the old XBox Duke I say!

I mean any well reviewed mouse with adjustable DPI is gonna be good, it just comes down to shape and weight preference. Some ergonomic mice might be better for longer sessions, light mice if you play on low dpi and need to move around like a maniac, heavyer mice for precision on medium dpi. Look at some of Logitech's ergo stuff, if you're on a budget look at some stuff by GXT. Razer is a no go honestly because of price to quality ratio.

Corsair and ASUS have some OK options as well. Just look at some reviews and then see which one best fits your preferences.

The answer is pretty obvious.

I am wondering what is your favorite mousepad for League?

I guess fast pad with enough accuracy for precision is the best.

Right now I am using a Glide 38 Madcatz, but i feel like there is maybe not enough stopping power... and it will shrink in performance really fast. I was considering Logitech G640, Fnatic Dash, Aqua Control +

As someone that uses a white Aqua Control +, I think it'd be pretty good for MOBAs. It's not super good for flicks because it is a bit slippery, but the low initial friction means it's really easy to track targets while also being fast enough to get from one edge of the screen to the other pretty quickly.

HELP! I don't know which mouse to buy

Posted by SapoDiabetico · in r/MouseReview · 8 months ago

I have been using a mouse (omega brand or something like that) that costs 5 usd since 2020 but now I want to expend more money a good mouse. I want to expend a maximum of 46 usd on a lightweight (<90 g) mouse with a nice IPS (>200, I have suffered sometimes in game by moving too fast),great switches and scroll wheel durability (I have seen a lot of razer viper/cobra with scroll wheel issues after some time). Also, I am a league challenger player and want the best to become even better :). take into account that I don't wanna buy another mouse for a long time so it has to last as long as possible. I have seen some mice models that I would like to buy but I don't know that much about them:

  • Razer Basilisk V3
  • Razer Cobra
  • Corsair katar pro xt
  • Pulsefire haste (sadly theres no more offers on amazon, did they discontinued them?)

best gaming mouse for league of legends

Key Considerations for Choosing a Gaming Mouse for League of Legends:

  1. DPI (Dots Per Inch): Look for a mouse with adjustable DPI settings. A range of 800-1600 DPI is generally ideal for MOBA games like League of Legends, allowing for precise movements.

  2. Ergonomics: Choose a mouse that feels comfortable in your hand, especially during long gaming sessions. Consider the shape and weight; lightweight mice (around 70-100 grams) are often preferred for quick movements.

  3. Polling Rate: A higher polling rate (1000 Hz is standard) ensures that your mouse reports its position to the computer more frequently, resulting in smoother and more responsive gameplay.

  4. Programmable Buttons: Having extra programmable buttons can be beneficial for assigning in-game commands, making it easier to execute combos and abilities quickly.

  5. Build Quality: Look for a mouse with durable construction and high-quality switches to withstand intense gaming sessions.

Recommendations:

  • Logitech G Pro Wireless: This mouse is highly regarded for its lightweight design, excellent sensor performance, and customizable buttons. It's wireless but has a very low latency, making it suitable for competitive gaming.

  • Razer DeathAdder V2: Known for its ergonomic design, this mouse features a high-precision sensor and customizable RGB lighting. It has programmable buttons that are great for MOBA games.

  • SteelSeries Rival 600: This mouse offers dual sensors for precise tracking and customizable weight, making it a versatile choice. It also has a comfortable grip and multiple programmable buttons.

Takeaway: Choose a mouse that fits your hand comfortably, has a good sensor, and offers the features you need for quick and precise gameplay in League of Legends.
