When it comes to choosing the best motorcycle helmet, there are several factors to consider, including safety certifications, fit, comfort, and additional features. While the discussions provided do not directly address motorcycle helmets, I can offer some general advice based on common considerations for selecting a helmet.
Safety Certifications
The most important aspect of any motorcycle helmet is its safety certification. Look for helmets that meet or exceed standards such as DOT (Department of Transportation), ECE (Economic Commission for Europe), or Snell. These certifications ensure that the helmet has been tested for impact resistance and other safety features.
Fit and Comfort
A properly fitting helmet is crucial for both safety and comfort. The helmet should fit snugly without being too tight, and it should not move around when you shake your head. Many helmets come with adjustable padding and liners to help achieve a better fit. It's recommended to try on several helmets to find the one that fits best.
Helmet Type
There are several types of motorcycle helmets, including full-face, modular, open-face, and half helmets. Full-face helmets offer the most protection as they cover the entire head and face. Modular helmets provide flexibility with a flip-up chin bar. Open-face helmets cover the top and sides of the head but leave the face exposed, while half helmets offer minimal coverage. Your choice will depend on your riding style and personal preference.
Additional Features
Consider additional features such as ventilation, visor options, weight, and noise reduction. Good ventilation helps keep you cool during rides, while anti-fog visors improve visibility in various weather conditions. Lighter helmets reduce neck strain, and noise reduction features can make long rides more comfortable.
Brand Recommendations
While specific brands were not mentioned in the discussions, some well-regarded helmet brands include Shoei, Arai, Bell, HJC, and AGV. These brands are known for producing high-quality helmets with a focus on safety and comfort.
Ultimately, the best motorcycle helmet for you will depend on your specific needs, preferences, and budget. It's always advisable to visit a store to try on different models and seek advice from knowledgeable staff.
The I-92 Fire Fighter armor set from the Freedoms Flame page of the Superstore looks great with it.
The ODST armor :3
Pls don’t hurt me for this I’m just a tired hell jumper
Here, take care of yourself fellow diver
This is a trap…..this gotta be a trap……ima avoid it…so I don’t fall for the trap..
Light Seige ready, force of law armours, juggernaut, fs-34 exterminator, cinder block
The killzone Dutiful armor. I'm rocking this set with helljumper cape and it just works.

Pickled Bologna
Baking soda sausage, the thumbnail is literally just FIRE because it didn't just burst, it went up in flames.
"I mean this from the bottom of my heart.... Whoopsie."
This is what I came to add. It burst, exploded on fire, then kept bursting!
I honestly think the baking soda sausage bursting into flame is the funniest thing I’ve ever seen. The timing is just so perfect.
I researched...this is the best...by far
Pickled balogna, easily. It refused to sausage and just turned back into primordial slop on the griddle.
Edit: I forgot, it also took the bun with it!
Baking soda has my vote, but Mr. Sausage’s gasp when the air sausage pops always makes me laugh
Clam Chowder sausage
Please don’t get either one of these save your money. It will be better in the long run I promise.
Don't get any intel 13th or 14th gen. CPU. I just had to help a friend with a 14900k do a full tear down and AMD rebuild. He only had the PC for a year. You don't want that. AMD is really crushing the CPU game.
It's only for 13/14th gen CPU with "K", and 8600G is basically a desktop version of the 8640HS laptop and it has a tiny 16MB L3 Cache, so it won't be well in games.
Damn! The more you know! Thank you for informing me!!
My Best Buy has an open box HP Omen with an i5-14400F, 32GB DDR5, RTX 4060, and 1TB SSD for $528. If you can find similar, I’d suggest that. Sell the 4060 for $200 and buy a 5070. It will handle games at 1440p very nicely and cost you just over $850 total.
Yeah, I saw that one for sale, and there was one 2 hrs away, but then someone bought it because it doesn’t show up anymore. :/
decent idea but model has a 600w power supply. will not support a 5070.
Nvidia specs are with a much higher tdp cpu. The i5-14400F and a 5070 will pull about 460W. The total system will pull about 500W. The 600W has plenty of room on this kind of build.
Do you already have peripherals? Like a monitor, mouse and keyboard? Can’t really use the pc without those so maybe save up a little more and wait until Black Friday/cybermonday for deals on everything. Also don’t be a sucker and buy windows11 for $110 or whatever it is they sell it for. I got a perfectly clean windows11 pro key online for like $10.
Yes I have a keyboard mouse and monitor
The one with 2 5060’s
👍
It was wdp 4d ... @NJP station i fell in love with it we were returning from Darjeeling...
Put respec on his name.
Whatever Darnell
What's the pay like being a full-time contrarian?
Oh, on reddit i volunteer, no pay. Its quite easy
Unless we have a Snake template, then it's Wolf and Doom. :P
I gave you a snake template see it. :)
What are ya saying brothet
Bruh who is mad and downvoting😂😂😂
Ppl do that lol
Wolf has earned his best friend in Snake.
He has earned the love of his life in Diane.
All he, his friends, and his girl have to do now, is put their skills to work in stopping other bad guys..
Such as Marmalade.
Hey guys, I’m looking to buy a helmet for my Harley and could use some advice.
I was first thinking about Ruroc (mostly for the design), but I’ve seen a lot of mixed reviews. Do you think it’s worth it?
I’m also considering the Bell Bullitt GT or the HJC V10 or Simpson?
What do you guys think is the best option in 2025? Any other similar helmets I should look at?
Ruroc makes the worst piece of shit helmet I've ever worn. I once bought a cheap Chinese helmet from an Instagram ad that was better constructed than their helmets. Fuck Ruroc and every motorcycle influencer trying to promote them, they're all two bit liars.
It’s funny seeing all the hate on here because my friends both LOVE their Rurocs. Before I get downvoted, I have an Arai because I didn’t like them, but they sure do
Best answer here all the helmets you posted are for posers get a Shoei Rf1200 or RF1400 etc
Exactly! I have a Shoei GT Air and love it. Had an Arai before but was much heavier and not as comfortable for me (but still a great helmet).
I wouldn't buy based on looks, but in that same category is the Biltwell Lane Splitter.
Never used any of these, so I provided no real input. I hear Ruroc is trash. I would suggest going to bike shops and putting them on to see how they fit. I went to buy an AGV, left with an HJC due to the fitment.
Lots of people and even sellers don’t know that it’s more than just size you have to go off of. There’s shape too. There’s round, intermediate and long oval. Most helmets are for intermediate oval finding round and long is very hard. Revzilla is about the only place I’ve found that filters the buckets by shape.
You can't go wrong with Shoei or Arai.
I have a Scorpion Covert FX (rebranded from HD as something else) no complaints in terms of build quality and fit
Nice lid too. Simpson vibes. I've had a ruroc atlas 3, bell eliminator, Simpson bandit and Currently Simpson ghost carbon fiber. CF hands down best lid.
I have the same helmet and love it. My only advice for helmets is try them on in person as headshape plays a big role in fit, as i didnt fit the simpson or biktwell options but i fit the scorpion exo covert like a dream.
I went to see the Bullit in store and holy crap. It's such a terrible quality considering its price. You are literally paying just for style (which I don't dispute, it really looks cool). But I used 100 dollar helmets that felt better. I wanted to replace my aging Spartan Carbon, but I would rather use it for another 10 years than wasting my money on this. It was such a letdown. I can only imagine the margin Bell has on this product.
You should be replacing your helmet every 5 years, from manufacturer date. That’s because the shock-absorbing foam and inner liner, can degrade over time from environmental factors like sunlight, heat, and humidity, compromising the helmet's protective capabilities. Do. It cheap out on a helmet. You only get one brain so please protect it. Treat yourself every 5 years to a nice helmet.
Ive been reading helmet reviews in reddit for a week straight mainly trying to find info on Icon Airflite and Ruroc Atlas 4.0.
Reddit seems to hate every helmet thats not Shoei or Arai. Ive had more helmets than Can count over the years and my absolute favorite helmet barely has any reviews at all. And thats the Joe Rocket 240-Series. It has an amazing shape, true to size, the most comfortable padding I've ever felt, quick release strap, flip down inner visor, lots of room for glasses, cutouts for speaker system. Its also one of the quieter helmets I've ever worn, the aerodynamics keep my head nice and straight unlike the Icon Domain which throws your head around like crazy.
This helmet gets no love but I highly suggest some of you guys looking for a new helmet give it a chance. Its also very affordable compared to most helmets.
plenty of guys here like HJC, Shuberth, AGV, Scorpion, and other brands though. Arai / Shoei is popular but I don't know what reddit you're browsing
I have my first scooter on the way to me and needing a lid.
A video I watched recommended the Bell servo helmet which is made for mountain bike riding. https://share.google/DnJnn9Zqg4UBaGTzf
But for just a little more could buy an actual motorcycle helmet. Only down side is I imagine it will be hotter since i would think they are less vented.
I purchased 2 mtn bike helmets & returned both.
Full sized motorcycle helmets are so much more comfortable to me.
Mtb is lighter and cooler, preferred for hot days. Motorcycle great for colder riding, especially with visor down. Don't cheap out on the helmet. There is documentation showing how the cheap helmets are made in dirt floor factory's slave workers sitting on the ground, impressive end result looks like a legit helmet.
It depends how fast you ride. If you ride relatively slowly all the time, then a MTB helmet should suffice. The key is you want one with chin and face protection, as you generally go face first over the bars when you eat shit on a scooter.
My scooter advertises a speed of 28 mph. Probably just gonna go with the motorcycle helmet.
I ride with fullfaced mtb helmets and skate helmets. Personally a motorcycle helmet seems overkill for my 15mph rides. I do however have this sick atlas helmet for my supermoto that is modular and works well for my emoto so maybe it would work well with scooter too.
If you do get a MTB helmet, I would advise you get some sort of eye protection, especially if you ride near trees or a park. The amount of things that hit my visor from small gnats to decent sized acorns is reason enough
I hate the helmets, I always set them to invisible
Yep! Otherwise if I am hooded, I wear the full Ezio outfit!
Same!
isu commander and b4 i can get that master assassin i was very dissapointed with >!hades crown kinda sucks imo also doesnt help it doesnt have a full set!<
Theres like the armour from the isu guards you can get that looks like it fits with it
Still looks a bit stupid tho
rn im using the isu commander head chest and belt bc i never got the correct gauntlets or boots so for those im using myridon and warden
It's a crime to hide Kassandra's face with a helmet.
Penelope's shroud!
Big classic fan and I couldn't take it off after retrieving it, lol
Yesssss same
I dont like any helmet, just the hoods (Pilgrim hood the goat)

Key Considerations for Choosing the Best Motorcycle Helmet:
Safety Ratings: Look for helmets that meet safety standards such as DOT (Department of Transportation), ECE (Economic Commission for Europe), or Snell certifications. These ratings ensure the helmet has passed rigorous safety tests.
Fit and Comfort: A proper fit is crucial. The helmet should be snug but not overly tight. Consider trying on different sizes and shapes (full-face, modular, open-face) to find what feels best for you.
Weight: Lighter helmets reduce neck strain during long rides. Aim for a helmet that balances safety and comfort without being excessively heavy.
Ventilation: Good airflow helps keep you cool and comfortable. Look for helmets with adjustable vents to manage airflow based on weather conditions.
Visor Quality: A clear, scratch-resistant visor is important for visibility. Consider helmets with anti-fog and UV protection features.
Noise Levels: Some helmets are designed to be quieter than others. If you ride long distances, consider a helmet that minimizes wind noise.
Recommendations:
Shoei RF-1400: Highly rated for safety, comfort, and aerodynamics. It features a lightweight design, excellent ventilation, and a comfortable fit.
Arai Signet-X: Known for its superior safety features and comfort. It has a unique shape that fits a variety of head sizes and offers great ventilation.
Bell Qualifier DLX: A budget-friendly option that still meets safety standards. It has a comfortable fit, good ventilation, and a removable, washable liner.
Choosing the right helmet is essential for your safety and comfort while riding, so take the time to try on different models and find the one that suits you best.
