For Banh Xeo, I like Huong, but now am also looking forward to trying GC Pho based on the recommendations here. Taste is subjective, but I think that at the top tier in town the differences are negligible and all have their strong dishes. Overall, as a 15 year or more patron of all of them, I'm in the Buckeye > Mi Li > Huong > Indochine (RIP) camp. There are lots of other okay to mediocre places in town and some very bad ones (looking at you 6-1-Pho).

My reasoning for Buckeye is that the owner (Max) is Viet, but was classically trained during years working under Chef Hubert Siefert (Gourmet Market, Spagio, Aubergine). Max does little fine-dining background type things many places don't like using ribeye for his rare beef. I called bullshit when he told me that, and he dragged me in back and showed me whole cryovac'd rib roasts in his cooler. The Pho broth is superior and by nicely asking, you can get a little bowl of marrow to add to your soup. Also notable are his Goi ga xe phay, Bo Kho, and Banh Cuon in addition to the standards. And for anyone who misses Hubert's creme brulee, Max has it on the menu as a thoughtful nod to his old boss.

The owner of Mi Li is Max's sister, so there are a lot of similarities across the two menus, but they're my go to for Bun bo hue. I used to go here weekly when I worked on that side of town.

When nearby, I also love stopping at Huong for fried chicken, papaya salad, short rib Pho, and Chao Tom. They have a deeper selection of menu items most other places don't.

You already identified GC Pho, best I've had in the city.

If you're ever up in Cleveland, go to Superior Pho. It's the best in the state pho and bahn mi.

My washed and glistening Artisan Red CX90 was standing out and catching gazers among the BMW X5/X7 and Mercedes owners which fit right in at one of Hilton Head Island's beach resorts. My emblems are blacked out so I had to tell them what it was! :-D

👋 coming from the adjacent dyslexic car club (Volvo XC90), the CX90s are great cars and I nearly purchased one when we were buying. I encourage anyone to go check one out if you’re looking in that segment! Plug in hybrid, affordable, 3 row SUV is quite the unicorn and Mazda nailed it.

I’m partial to rally cars. I usually love playing pretend 😂 and drive the Evos on dirt roads lol. Love the mini cooper s rally and the Citroen and Mitsubish. But the land rovers are the best looking imo.

Just make sure stay away from Jeep the worst EV cars are From Jeep and Dodge. They can give those away. I seen deals for like 100 bucks a month. Low miles, but who cares it’s gonna be in the dealership most of the time I have seven months left on my lease and I cannot wait for it to finish already

I originally thought I was going to go for a Wraith, but an opportunity came up for a Ghost in great condition and I couldn’t pass on it. Absolutely loved the car and plan to get another one in the next year or two. The Cullinan looks great, but I’m more into the classic sedan vibe than an SUV.

The Spectre is interesting and I’d probably love it as a daily, especially coming from a Tesla S, but with the Ghost I really appreciate having the 4 doors.

There's something so special about a ghost in terms of its size as in its luxurious but also feels nimble and that you can actually drive it without worrying about the excessive width unlike, Phantom from what I have seen around. I have been lucky to spot a lot of them in different generations and colours.

4.4 LR3, Sport, or L322 is the way, and that six speed is a huge reliability improvement over the prior ZF shitbox five speed.
