TL;DR
Weapon Roles and Abilities
Tifa's weapons can be tailored to fit different roles, such as debuffer or secondary DPS. The Kaiser Knuckles are noted for their ability to decrease the target's magic defense, making them useful for synergizing with other characters like Aerith who rely on magic attacks [1:1]. The Leather Gloves are effective for debuffing enemy physical attack, which is useful in reducing incoming damage from melee-heavy enemies
[1:4].
Sonic Strikers and Damage Potential
The Sonic Strikers are highlighted for their high damage output, boasting the highest possible multiplier of any weapon at 990% when fully upgraded [3:2]. This makes them an excellent choice if you want to focus on maximizing Tifa's damage potential. However, they may not offer as much utility in terms of debuffing compared to other options.
Versatility and Customization
Tifa is a versatile character capable of both physical and magical damage, and her Limit Break includes built-in DEF and MDEF debuffs [4]. Depending on your team composition and strategy, you can customize her build to focus more on debuffing or dealing damage. For instance, some players use Tifa as a healer/debuffer with Lifeguard Wraps and Grand Gloves, providing additional healing support while still contributing to debuffing
[4:6].
Fun Factor and Playstyle
Many players find Tifa to be the most enjoyable character to play due to her dynamic combat style. Her Unbridled Strength ability is particularly satisfying, allowing players to build up to powerful combos and unleash devastating finishers on staggered enemies [5:1]. This makes her a popular choice for players who enjoy a hands-on, active combat experience.
In conclusion, the best weapon for Tifa largely depends on your preferred playstyle and team composition. Whether you prioritize debuffing, damage output, or a balanced approach, Tifa's diverse arsenal allows for significant customization to suit your needs.
I have seen some forums list her Leather Gloves as her best and others list Sonic Strikers as her best but I think that these are old
So what are her best because I want to shoot for getting her best loadout and maxing her
Sonic strikers have the highest damage command ability, does 50% extra over other non elemental abilities which is interesting.
But there really aren’t “best” weapons, as cliche as it is to say. Really the focus is on team comps, every weapon is relevant. Say for example you do want to make a tifa carry team, then you’ll probably want Sonic strikers, but some of “her best weapons” will actually be zacks type-99 and or Lucia’s black rifle because they have physical attack and crit bonuses to stack with Tifas weapon.
It all depends on what your overall team plan is. Right now teams that play around murasame cloud is pretty strong and popular, so you would also want to upgrade weapons that will boost lightning potency and phys attack.
Just to give a general idea, every weapon is good and serves a purpose it all depends on what type of main team you want to run. Although even then, in my personal opinion for everyone starting out, get a range of elemental weapons first so you can do high end missions and dungeons before going all in on a specific team build for now.
There's no definitive best as it depends on what kind of style you want to play her. Personally I like using her as a debuffer so Leather Gloves and Tiger Fangs are the best for me (lower PATK and MATK)
The game has a ton of customization , so you will be hard pressed to find a single good answer.
It boils down to how you want to build a character.
Example : If you want cloud to be a Thunder God - getting Murasame and his Gear, is vital for that
But if you dont care about thunderdamage - you can skip them entirely.
Back to Tifa - Leather gloves debuff enemies PATK, so against melee heavy enemies, she's a machine at reducing the damage your team takes.
But if you already can do that through other means / materia / character, it becomes less useful ( bear in mind, I think her leather gloves are the easiest way to apply HIGH tier debuff right now - could be wrong )
So its all about what you want characters to do, as some weapons will perform better than others
Am I bad for thinking there's 2 very obvious answers to this question???
It depends but generally you want tifa to be the secondary attacker which means you want her to be a debuffer as well. Kaiser knuckles let's you decrease the targets magic defense, or another debuff glove that I can't remember the name. There's also motor drive which gives a strong physical wind damage which is rare which makes it useful and sonic strikers have a strong physical attack as well.
I was using the critical one or Kaiser knuckles, but I see a lot of people on YouTube using dragon claws. It has less attack and less slots than the others, so wondering why many people are using it. Are the weapon skills that much better?
once max leveled all weapons have 6 slots. before that probably kaiser for the physical (and crystal for the magic)
Probably for the weapon ability damage, 5% and the enhanced technique damage at 15%. Also has atb charge up and +20 attack. Kaiser doesn't have good weapon skills in comparison.
I like to use whichever weapons have the ATB Charge Rate Up skill, especially on Hard Mode
I'm currently using the Cloud/Aerith/Tifa trio and building Cloud was pretty straightforward, just aim for the most single target damage and give him sub weapons that boost ATK/PATK. With Aerith just slap Fairy Tale on her and focus on boosting her heal.
But with Tifa I'm not really sure what to do. I know she's supposed to be a debuffer/subdps, but I'm not quite sure if it's better to go fully into the debuffer role or try to strike a balance with some more offensive skills.
I luckily pulled Leather Gloves and Tiger Fangs which debuff the physical and magical attack of an enemy respectively, and since her Limit Burst also debuffs their phys/mag defenses and charges quickly, that means I can really pile up the debuffs on bosses which is pretty nice.
However I noticed that those two weapons' R. Abilities don't really mix well (Leather Gloves increase physical defense and lightning resist, Tiger Fangs increase Magic Attack and Crit Potency) and she just tends to do pretty low damage. Do you think it would be worth it to aim for one of her weapons that does more damage like the Sonic Strikers and swap out one of her debuffing weapons, or is it better to use her as a dedicated debuffer? How do you build your Tifa?
To me she's just a breaker, looking at her weapons, this is all I can find her being. So I got both her PATK and MATK down weapons and that's what she's gonna wear for now regardless of the R Abilities. To me she's not here to deal the damages.
Thank you for the reply, those were my thoughts as well. Fully debuffing a boss is definitely very valuable, even if she ends up doing middling damage on her own. Though some of her weapons do seem to have potential - the Sonic Strikers if I'm not mistaken have the highest possible multiplier of any weapon currently in the game, with a whopping 990% when maxed out
Maybe I'll try her out as a dedicated dps later on when I'm done building Cloud and have materials to spare
Yeah but I've seen a lot of passive like a few minutes ago, because I just used the "Recommanded build" for most of my gametime but I'm reaching levels where it seems it starts to fall off quite a bit (Damn last boss of the First Soldier story). Anyway, it's quite rare on any characters to have R Abilities that synergise with each others outside of maybe 2 or 3 (thinking about Cloud Masamune/Hard Edge and Glenn With his scythe and his thundara axe, don't remember their names right now).
I feel like they made a very wide variety of abilities on purpose so that later we feel more tempted to pull for other weapons to complete our synergies between weapons 🤔 Which is fine IMO but still.
But until then, some characters feel odd to build. Like Aerith, last time I checked, only her Curaga A weapon gives her bonus heal...
Anyway, we'll see.
She is a debuffer... she protects your team by debuffing the enemy PATK and MATK. Weapons like Tiger Fang Gloves and Sonic Striker allowed her to debuff both physical and magical attack.
It's a really good unit, or it will be in the future, but right now it seems that debuffing Defenses is better (Barret does that iirc), or going with 2 strong DPS for boss fights.
Pretty sure Sonic Striker doesn't do that anymore and it's been changed to Leather Gloves.
You are right... was reading the CBT skills because just closed the game. Thanks for the correction.
Is the content really about having one strong team though? Seems to me you need to have flexibility depending on who the opponent is
I run two teams, First Soldier has some pretty strict requirements, so I run Cloud/Aerith/Zack in my first team, so that way they all level up to make the story easier (as a bonus Zack is also the only playable character so far in Crisis Core story), and then all first soldier people in their own team so they can be ahead of the story when necessary.
I agree, later on you'll probably want to have multiple teams to deal with different encounters - this early in the game though, it's probably best to focus on one team so you can increase your team's power and can tackle those harder enhancement quests as soon as possible. Spreading those early enhancement materials too thin between many characters usually isn't a good idea in gacha games
She's a debuffer and physical attacker. You want her primary weapon to be a debuffer, secondary a physical attack, then give her a debuff ability, a second debuffer or a buff, and then a damage skill. Personally I'm using Kaiser knuckles for magic defense down so that aerith can hit hard with blizzaga, and cloud can hit pretty hard with thundara, then the second weapon was one of her physical attacks I can't remember which but it's not important, then I equipped her with ruinra blow, debraver and barrier. This way she's able to keep the enemies magic defense down as well as reducing the enemy attack and the enemies physical defense through her limit break as well as being able to increase my team's defense and deal secondary physical damage behind cloud
Tifa is a versatile character. She is effective at both physical and magical damage and excels in debuffing enemies for both offense and defense. Her Limit Break includes a built-in DEF and MDEF debuff. Depending on her main weapons, she can also debuff attack and magical attack, making her an ideal sub DPS unit and debuffer.
Now, let's talk about her best weapons:
First, there are the Tiger Fangs. They grant Tifa the ability to debuff the enemy's magical attack. Use the command right before the enemy uses a magical attack to increase your party's chances of surviving it. Tiger Fangs deal 540% PHY Non-elem. damage to one enemy with a crit rate of 10 percent. They boast the highest physical attack but have the second-lowest magical attack and heal among all her weapons. They boost magical attack and crit as their R-abilities. However, their sub-abilities are geared towards physical bonuses, making them a good sub-weapon for a physical attacker, but not ideal for a debuffer since we want to use the command ability to debuff.
Next are her Leather Gloves. Similar to the Tiger Fangs, they deal 540% PHY Non-elem. damage to one enemy, but instead of debuffing magical attack, they debuff the enemy's attack. They boost physical defense and lightning resistance. As a sub-weapon, they increase physical attack and fire attack. Use the command ability right before the enemy uses a physical nuke, and your party will likely survive. They are also a good choice to improve Tifa's bulk, offering a physical defense boost as one of their R-abilities.
Next up is the Kaiser Knuckles. They deal 480% MAG Non-elem. damage to a single enemy and have magical def and ice resist as R-abilities. The command can debuff the enemy's magical defense. They can be useful on magical attack-heavy teams; however, they are not as needed since Tifa already has DEF and MDEF break on her Limit Break. As a sub-weapon, they increase physical and magical attack.
Number four is the Motor Drive. It's the perfect weapon for wind-weak boss fights. Although not many early bosses are weak to wind, it's worth building if you have it due to the rarity of wind damage weapons. It deals 790% PHY Wind damage to a single enemy with no other gimmicks. It boasts the second-highest attack base stat among her weapons. Coupled with its R-ability of boosting physical attack, it becomes her most damaging weapon. It also boosts wind damage. As a sub-weapon, it boosts physical attack, so you can use it when not dealing with wind bosses.
Number five is the Crystal Gloves. These are really useful early game since many enemies are weak to lightning. They deal lightning area-of-effect damage, great for clearing out waves of enemies, even if they aren't weak to lightning. They boost HP and lightning damage. As a sub-weapon, they increase magical attack. They are one of four lightning-based weapons in the game, so invest in them if you have one.
Last but not least is the Sonic Striker. If you really want Tifa to hit hard, this weapon is for her. It boasts the highest physical non-elemental damage multiplier of 990% when maxed out. However, it doesn't offer anything more than raw power. It boosts physical and magical attack and water resist. As a sub-weapon, it boosts physical and magical attack.
One of my favorite ways to build Tifa is to equip her with Tiger Fangs and Leather Gloves. This way, she can debuff both physical attack and magical attack. Coupled with her ability to debuff physical and magical defense via her Limit Break, she becomes a really great breaker.
For wind and lightning weak enemies, swap out one of her weapons with Motor Drive and Crystal Gloves, respectively.
And that's it for Tifa's best weapons so far. If you found this useful, please consider sharing and commenting on the video guide here: https://youtu.be/chflJQCjFTI
I think people are really sleeping on the Lifeguard weapon from the featured banner.
The threshold for which she uses them is MUCH lower than when Aerith uses Curaga from Fairy Tale.
On auto, Tifa will use them when characters are missing 30-40 percent of their health while Aerith seems to wait until 60 or so percent is missing. It’s saved my butt a few times when I forgot to swap from auto to semi auto in 90k plus fights.
Plus, AOE heals have proven already to be incredibly invaluable. Yes it does make her a bit weaker in the DPS, but having a second character be able to do AOE heals with Aerith/Matt takes some of the strain off them to do other things in battle.
I was really hesitant to pull for them but I figured what the heck. I’ve been very happy with getting them and honestly I’ve considered swapping priority in farming stuff from my 31k Cloud to Tifa at this point.
Tifa still does well with Lifeguard/Tiger for me. But it’s just the fact the threshold for which she uses the aoe heal is so much lower than Aerith makes the weapon amazing for me.
Statistically, at 5* Fairy Tail is the better healer at (53/5) 10.6 potency/ATB while Lifeguard has (38/4) 9.5 potency/ATB, which is over 10% differance.
At max stats, both weapons have the same potency (54/4 vs 67/5) per ATB of 13.5 so the Lifeguard Wraps could be considered the better option.
More regular healing isn't neccecarily a good thing. I don't think we have reached a point where we are too worried about ATB economy and optimisation, but you could argue that spending 8 ATB guages for two Ligefuard heals is worse than spending 5 ATB bars on one FT heal. The 'right' answer probably comes down to the fight, how regularly you need to heal and what you want to do between heals.
your math includes lifeguard costume healing buff? i mean ofc aerith is gonna get one too sooner or later, maybe even better, but as it is now tifa imo is better
Fully agree. I am pushing 90k power content now and running my team very defensively with Cloud as DPS hyper carry. I could be wrong in the long term, but for the most part I see people scoff saying you need more dps in this game.
But when an enemy nuke goes off, Tifa providing a Lifeguard heal to bolster the team while Aerith charges up her Curaga is invaluable to make sure someone doesn't go down to a chump hit following up.
Plus, on Auto, as you said it just runs smoother with Tifa's heal threshold being lower. Keeps you healthier for the nukes and then having both of them afterwards as mentioned above keeps you healthy and safe while Cloud does his job.
I actually use her as my Healer/Debuffer so I use her with:
Lifeguard Costume
Lifeguard Wraps+ Grand Gloves
Subs: Prime Number/Fairy Tale/Crystal Sword (Will swap in when needed later Assault Gun for Ice Resistance when I eventually get it for fights that can use it)
This gives me Boost Heal, Fire/Lightning/Earth Resist Boost HP and Boost Water Prof.
When it's just me (@30k Power atm) switching in Co-Op to guard stance she's still doing ~1200 Heals on everyone and Vigor is an emergency self heal that's healing for ~75% of my hp aswell as a Poison/Silence cleanse
I’m stealing this build to the best of my ability because I’m using her as my healer
With the current gear the "Best healing" option for Tifa if everything maxed out would be the following:
Lifeguard Costume
Main Weapon Grand Gloves
Second Weapon Lifeguard Wraps
Sub Weapons: Guard Stick
The Above would give you +90 Boost Heal meaning Any of the other Heal weapons maxed out will give you another +13 for the 100 Threshold, allowing you to interchange the 3rd with whatever the fight dictates be it resists, more MDEF/PDEF, Limit Break damage. w/e
Now this is all far off whale territory but it atleast let's you know to choose Guard Stick+Grand Gloves as rate ups.
I use Tifa as either magic dps with Powersoul and Crystal Gloves or a magic/healer hybrid with Lifewraps and Powersoul. Depending on if I think my crystal sword Cloud can handle it or not.
I would go phys but this game has given me like 5 powersoul weapons. It will be a while before I get something as powerful as that. lmao
It's hard to beat Tifa's Unbridled Strength, just for how defining it is to her playstyle. Really satisfying to build your way up to big combos and stun damage, spend it on the big finishers on a Staggered enemy, and then build back up. It's not the same satisfaction you get from hitting a button and getting a big hit right away, but it makes her whole combat rotation so fun and unique.
Tifa is absolutely the most fun to play as. Usually have her be the main character I control when I can.
Triple Slash, finishes every non-boss fight swiftly.
I really love Aerith's Sorcerous Storm. The perfect "back the hell up" ability for a magic user like Aerith.
I love Sorcerer’s Storm too - so satisfying to have an instant knock back ability
Counterstance is awesome to use. They way the damage comes after the strike is pretty awesome.
Another cool thing is doing counterstance after doing the Punisher Stance. Sick
Tifas starshower one? Think that's what it's called. The one where she jumps about.
I like that one too. I love that she preps the attack by like... Lightly jumping before flying into a flurry.
Did so much damage too when I first got it. So satisfying
It's such a good animation, going from so casual to so extreme.
Ello, I'm an avid FF6 enjoyer (I think its the #1 game in existence) and am completing FF7 for the first time, infact I am getting the platinum trophy for it on the PS5.
To do this however, I gotta >!defeat Ruby and Emerald Weapons.!< IK a strat is just >!spam KOTR + Mime!<, but besides that does anyone have a setup or advice for spells I could use, mainly for>! emerald weapon? !<
My current characters used rn are:
>!Tifa!<
>!Cloud!<
>!Cid!<
Also, for >!Tifa, her ultimate weapon, Premium Heart, seems pretty weak.!< Any other weapons I could use besides it?
Premium Heart seems weak because it has a rather awkward hidden powerup factor: It multiplies the base damage it would normally deal by the Limit Level Tifa is currently set to and by the percentage of her Limit Meter that is currently filled. So, assuming you have her set to Level 4, she needs her Limit Meter 75% filled to have the same multiplication factor Cloud and Cait have when they are at max HP or that Cid and Red have when they have max MP. So she works best when you have at least one Command Materia on her that gives a command that doesn't replace the Attack command and also does damage for free. So things like Deathblow or a Steal materia leveled up to where it gives you the Mug command.
Ruby and Emerald are both designed to absolutely demolish a normally geared up team, regardless of level, but they go about it in different ways.
For Emerald: There are two major things that create pressure on you in the fight. One is a 30 minute time limit, which can be removed by equipping an Underwater materia on any of the active party members. The other is the Aire Tam Storm attack, which hits all party members and deals each one it hits damage equal to 1111 * the number of materia that character has equipped. But the time limit is plenty of time to win the fight. and Aire Tam Storm can't be performed unless one of the 4 Eyes it has is alive. The Eyes are worth killing anyway, as they do single target attacks, two of them hitting HP and two hitting MP, though the Eyes do regenerate. giving each character a reliable attack to hit all enemy targets (like the Slash-All materia or the Slash-All that the normal Attack command becomes when they have Mega-All materia equipped), or a leveled up DoubleCut materia giving you 4X-Cut on random targets, will let you take out the eyes quickly to disable the Aire Tam Storm attack while also still damaging Emerald itself. Having at least one character with Final Attack=Phoenix is also a good idea. Any character who has a plan to use magic should probably have either a reliable way to gain MP back with MP Absorb or a healthy supply of Ethers.
For Ruby: Ruby starts the fight immune to damage and will eject random party members from the fight until only one is left standing, then will shift modes into a vulnerable state. However, Ruby only counts alive party members, so if you start the fight with 2 characters down, you can wait for the shift, then revive the other two members, turning what was intended to be a 1v1 fight into 3v1, making it much easier. If the fight drags on too long, it will shift back to invulnerable and start ejecting people again, so you still can't take your time, but it does give a lot of turns before it does that.
Everyones recommending the real strats for og but not the best strat for this specific version. Just bring cait sith and use his limit slot machine to insta kill. Takes awhile to hit but its so much less work . Thats what I did when platting it on p4
Emerald is easy... Ruby is an absolute motherfucker
Go in with two dead. Use Hades to paralyze her. Keep her paralyzed and damage to win. She's pretty easy once you know she's vulnerable to status effects.
Yes those two things are mandatory
This will take some grind. Get everyone 9999 hp. Get chocobuckle from a level 16 choco and flee 2222 battles. Use chocobuckle on your team and you have 3 characters 7777 hp. There isn't anything stronger in the game. Emerald weapon won't last 2 rounds
Now THIS is podracing!
Emerald isn't too terrible as long as you don't equip too much Materia, I remember I even forgot to equip the Underwater to prevent to fight clock.
This is for Ruby weapon and I don't recommend it because it took absolutely forever as a gimmick meme build, but it went vaguely something like;
I forget if I was smart enough or had the patience to get multiple Mimes to pair with Counter to spam Omnislash, Final Attack/Phoenix depends if you care about losing.
But the idea was spam a bunch of Hero Drinks to power up a bunch of stats, Cloud's HP needs to be at max so his weapon will do full damage (Mystile 50% dodge goes a long way), regular attacks should inflict "Stop" against Ruby and drain the HP back if you take any hits.
Pretty much Cloud just constantly attacks/counter attacks with x4 cut and eventually kills the thing, sometimes you might have to use an Elixir if you get unlucky taking a few hits.
Dual blades is fun when the enemy have weapons we can clash with but ngl it's difficult when the reach is so short vs other types of enemies.
I love the Dual Blades and had fun with them but imo there’s nothing better than the LS. It’s fast, it’s powerful, and it has reach. It’s also super versatile. You can kinda just flail around with DB but LS takes a bit more precision. It’s hands down my favorite weapon. It also has stupid strong defense against other weapons and is fast enough to get around enemies that don’t use weapons. Most importantly, it looks cool af.
I did my first run with Longsword the entire game (except for Demon of Obsession-- I had to swap to a 1h magic build for her). I did my 2nd run trying out different weapons and builds. After spending sufficient time with the Dual Blades, I've realized Longsword is just the superior option. Try that for awhile, it makes the game so much easier.
The spear is soooo underrated. I find myself switching between the two often!
I played through with axe first and the dual blades are very similar I'm finding out on playthrough 4. They make up for each other's shortcomings. Spear is fun but kinda wonky. One handed sword is pretty lame but has some incredible skills
My ng+ is mostly spear, after abandoning it the first time. I can see the potential. With a full stack of skyborn might it’s absolutely magnificent but that’s also kind of its problem… it needs skyborn might (lots of it) to really shine.
That’s not really a problem in of itself, but the spear has probably the jankiest way to generate it out of all the weapons. With duals you just swim in it. With longsword every second hit generates it, which gives you a very consistent supply. One hander you just passively get it. With the spear you have to convert… and as far as I know only two disciplines actually convert spear stacks into might. This also, doesn’t have to be a problem in itself but you really don’t want to cast solar leap or upward force with no might… the take literal ages to activate… so you’re stuck in a catch 22: you maybe able to get all 5 might stacks if you can convert successfully, but they’re slow. They need might to activate instantly.
Another problem is that spear basic attacks just feel slow and the animation doesn’t take advantage of its main strength: its range. Wuchang uses it like a staff, and a slow one at that. I’ve seen enough Wuxia to know that pointy stick can move a LOT quicker.
When you have the might though, spear is just a beautiful, dance of destruction. It arguably has the best heavy charge attack in the game. Some of the weapon skills are just downright nasty. Steam powered weapon skill + charged heavy will cave in a boss. If they just adjusted how night is converted and make the light attacks a little faster it’ll go a long way into making the weapon not only viable, but a favorite. Axe and duals have incredible clash potential and longsword is beautiful in its versatility. One handlers are magic machines but spear is lacking in all of these.
In boss fights, by the time you have accumulated enough stacks to convert into 4-5 might, you 100% should have skyborn from dodging, no? I played half of my third ng with a spear and didn't have to cast solar leap uncharged in boss fight ever
Yeah that was my issue. That and if I accidentally tapped r2 I was immediately placed out of range in a ridiculously long build up for a not very strong attack. Switched to the axe and didn't look back I do like to bust out that machine gun spear every now and again though
Glad someone out there is enjoying the spear. It's usually my go to in these kinds of games
interesting, I also see that Axe breaks Poise much easier
one handed magic type looks flashy tho
Axe destroys poise. It's a bully weapon for sure but can get you killed quick if you're not finding good openings.
I am I crazy to be playing through using basically only one hand sword and spells? Am I just making life difficult for myself? I find the evasive dodge skill really powerful. But maybe I’m missing out!
Personally I’ll go with TIFA anytime. Aerith is okay. But not with the same level of Tifa.
How about you? Let us know what you think is the best!
I've always held the opinion that Tifa is for Cloud and Aerith will always be for Zack, in every. single. timeline.
Tifa for Cloud, Aerith for Zack
Neither. Team Sephiroth ako.
TIFA and she will be more impactful sa part three ng trilogy na ito.
For Cloud, Tifa. They look cute together. They have a shared history.
Aerith is destined to be with another person anyway. The real SOLDIER.
But I like Aerith. She's adorable.
It's dlc, but Maniac's Pinwheel with the Live Puppet Axe blade.
this is my old favourite combo except I used pistol rock drill blade occasionally with city long spear. Both blade and handle fable deals crazy stagger damage.
Furious Slash takes to long for my liking. I usually use my fable arts to break the enemy's stagger bar (if they are mid combo I throw a shot put and then use my other fable before riposting). Plus I think the scaling on the Maniac's Pinwheel handle is unbalanced for the Axe blade. Genuinely OP damage numbers (I haven't played since the week the dlc released).
MJOLNIR HEAD + BOOSTER GLAIVE HANDLE.
Before I got the Mjolnir I used the wrench head instead, same handle. BUSTED MOVESET with high damage output from the big blunt weapons
Good old booster glaive is always a reliable handle. I'll try this combo thank you.
Yeah this was me honestly. Default weapon carried, and then salamander blade on the handle during DLC NG+ really clutched up for me.
I don't really have a broken build I go for. I just use whichever weapon skills I like the most and that tends to be the katana (for parries) and the gunblade because it looks slick af.
Gunblade combos are so classy. I just found that running R1, R1+R2 (R2 again if theres window to complete) has fast combo chain than regular R1+R2 combo.
Holy Sword of the Ark, alternate form. I always tell myself to change my weapon for another playthrough and still finishing it with my favorite.
If ur capacity is high enough, keep the puppet ripper in another weapon slot for crown control. Unstoppable
Damn I gotta test that out I love that dlc weapon.
My favorite weapon combo tbh. Makes me feel like Thor.
I just got the powersoul weapon for Tifa and was wondering what is the best set up for her so she can be powerful.
Powersoul is strongest when tifa is under death sentance, this can be done with death force. This is an enemy skill you can learn near the corel area. This will make her attacks 4x as strong.
A second option is the death force enemy skill. This prevents a party member from dying. This will keep tifa in critical health and double attack damage output.
However I do not recommend either of these, and would instead use a different weapon altogether.
I tried using death setance on tifa, but idk see the timer, why is that?
Not sure, perhaps she has a ribbon on? You can get the same effect from using a curse ring also which you can get in mideel, along with a boost to stats.
best weapon for tifa in final fantasy vii remake
Key Considerations for Tifa's Best Weapon in FFVII Remake:
Weapon Stats: Each weapon has different stats that affect Tifa's attack power, speed, and abilities. Look for weapons that enhance her physical damage output.
Abilities: Weapons come with unique abilities that can be learned and equipped. Consider weapons that offer abilities that complement your playstyle, such as increased damage or status effects.
Materia Slots: The number and type of materia slots are crucial for customizing Tifa's abilities. More slots allow for greater versatility in combat.
Playstyle: Tifa excels in close-range combat with fast, combo-based attacks. Choose a weapon that enhances her strengths in melee combat.
Recommendation:
Best Weapon: The "Premium Heart" is often considered the best weapon for Tifa. It has high attack power and a unique ability called "True Strike," which increases damage based on the number of consecutive hits. This weapon is excellent for maximizing Tifa's combo potential.
Alternative Option: The "Metal Knuckles" is a solid choice early in the game, providing a good balance of attack power and materia slots. It also has the "Counterstance" ability, which can be useful for defensive play.
Takeaway: Focus on upgrading the Premium Heart for maximum damage output and learning its abilities to fully utilize Tifa's combat potential.
