TL;DR
Performance and Responsiveness
When it comes to performance and responsiveness, the Razer Viper V3 Pro stands out as a top contender. Users have praised its super light design, accurate sensor, and low latency, making it feel just as fast as wired options [5:3]. The Logitech G502 X Plus also offers excellent performance with its HERO 25K sensor and fast Lightspeed wireless technology
[5:1].
Battery Life and Weight
Battery life and weight are crucial factors for many users. The Razer Viper V3 Pro is noted for being lightweight, which is ideal for long gaming sessions without fatigue [5:3]. While specific battery life details weren't mentioned, the general consensus is that modern wireless mice offer competitive battery longevity.
Ergonomics and Comfort
Ergonomics play a significant role in choosing a gaming mouse. The shape of the mouse is often considered more important than other features, as comfort can vary greatly between individuals [2:5]. The Pulsar X2H Wireless is recommended for those who prefer claw or fingertip grips
[5:3]. For those looking for customizable options, the Logitech G502 X Plus provides multiple programmable buttons to tailor the experience
[5:8].
Additional Considerations
For users on a budget or preferring wired options, the XM1r is still highly regarded [5:3]. Additionally, channels like Boardzy and Aimadapt provide detailed reviews and recommendations for various mice
[5:9]. It's important to consider your personal grip style, hand size, and sensitivity preferences when selecting the best mouse for your needs

Currently, I am switching to a laptop so I need to buy a wireless mouse. There are a few options in my locality, but I am quite confused that which one to buy because I have never used a wireless gaming mouse before. I hope you guys can give me some advice, thanks. Here is the list:
- Razer Mamba Wireless 2019.
- Logitech G703 (non Lightspeed version) (2017).
- Corsair Harpoon Wireless.
- Asus Rog Strix Impact 2 Wireless.
- Hyperx Pulsefire Dart.
P/s: I prefer battery life and light weight, mouse form is not important.
G703 is very comfyyy for me
my hands are 18x8.5
I mostly palm grip
So mice are really subjective - the best mouse for you is different than from somebody else's - do you happen to know how you grip the mouse?
I am so tired of all the wires near my gaming setup. Looking for the best wireless gaming mouse. I dont care about rgb or how the mouse looks - I only care about the performance and responsiveness. It definitely needs to have a very good battery life and should not be too heavy. And needs to be ergonomic, of course.
Im open to suggestions and advice. I also need to decide which one I need within a week. Which wireless gaming mouse do you guys think is considered the best right now in terms of performance and responsiveness for gaming as well as in general use?
Objectively, pretty sure the XM2 4K is the lowest latency unless something that's polling at 8k has beaten it recently
Yeah, all the top end mice use the same sensor tech so it’s more about whichever one you enjoy too. I can’t use op1k or xm2 4K as they just feel too strange in hand. Realistically, the differences inbetween the top mice are so minuscule and only measurable through tech anyway. I believe razer vv3/v3 in general is the only one with its own proprietary sensor that many people enjoy as well. Also 8k polling, so it’s probably between those 2?
Only wanted to mention that while the XM2 has the fastest latency, it's using the 3395 pixart sensor which is a bit older than the current "top spec" 3950.
I have the XM2 and can absolutely recommend it if the mouse shape fits you. Unfortunately for me it causes some hand pain after extended use.
I play amazing with it however, so if they make a shape similar to the Vaxee E1 I'll be first in line.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but pretty sure Mchose L7 Ultra has lower latency. Think Aimadapt measured it in his video.
I am so tired of these blank "recommend me a mouse" posts.
Yeah, and the lack of any info about grip preference and hand size + the really vague descriptions like "very good battery life", "not be too heavy" etc.
Seriously
Did yall ever stop to think that not everyone who comes to this sub is a mouse nerd who knows everything about grip types and hand size? So sorry people come to this sub and interrupt the endless posts about <insert Chinese brand mouse here> to ask for a generic recommendation. 😭
Get all the way out of your own asses. If you don’t like the question, don’t answer it.
> And needs to be ergonomic, of course.
The "of course" sounds like you think that ergonomic is objectively better. It's not. There's a reason why people say "shape is king". Most top mice perform fairly similarly, so you should always start with the shape. So first things first: how big is your hand and what is your grip style?
Why are you getting downvoted??? So many salty Razer fanboys here really? China mouse does the exact same thing for 100 cheaper so why the hate.
The Viper v3 pro by a long shot imo
agreed. it’s been the best mouse since it came out, and will continue to be the best for the foreseeable future.
Yes, but in this context, the term ergonomic mouse refers to a righthand slanted shape, and it is named as such because it is anatomically healthier to keep the writst more vertical. But that does not automatically mean it is more comfortable to how some people use their mouse compared to ambi. That is very much still subjective.
I have the M65 Pro RGB and I just upgraded my keyboard and head set the the K100 and HS80 MAX. I say this because I was gonna upgrade all three, but after looking into all the mouses, I realized I had the best one at least in my opinion. I also enjoy the thumb wrist that it has on the side. If I ever get another mouse, it’ll be the same one or an upgraded equivalent.
Hi, on paper this was going to be my dream mouse. Its big so it fits my hand good and I like the tilting gestures, wheel tilt buttos, and all the extra buttons.
NO, dont get it its over priced trash.
Scroll wheel feels terrible and loses input if you scroll "fast", right click is too sensitive and left click squeaks plastic on plastic.
This was my third and final mouse from Corsair. Logi G502 turned out to be all I ever needed.
G502. This is the way.
Logitech mice are slightly above Razer in terms of (perceived) quality and that's definitely not what I'd call good.
i'll personally never buy another logitech product ever again...
i've been through like 5 g502s and they've all had double clicking and scroll wheel issues
logitech used to make good quality mice but now that brand is just overpriced mainstream trash
This is the way ☝️
Idk, I really like mine, no issues.
I like my saber pro rgb
Have one. Button placement is great. Both left and right button squeak after less than a year of light use. It's fine, probably would not buy again.
ASUS ROG Keris II Ace Wireless Solid build quality, clicks feel good, responsive, comfortable, light, RGB but not enough to drain battery. Comes in white or black. It's been perfect.
currently I think the best options available are kreo chimera, cosmic byte atlas, red dragon M810 pro and evofox banshee.... which one to consider??
Watch reviews of all these from some good reviewers like Boardzy, Aim Adapt, Fresh Reviews etc:
Mchose G3/G7,
RK M30,
VXE R1 se+,
ATK A9
Mchose G3 would be my pick for the best in your budget
But all of these are out of stock in mackeys
Pre order.
How meckeys works is they let u pre-order stuff. When they get a set amount of stipulated orders, they import said product from outside. High volume=low individual tax. Whatever is left is put "On Stock", this saves inventory space.
So u should always preorder from them, it's the cheapest way to get stuff. Does take at max 2 months, date is written.
I kid u not, these cosmic bytes and evo fox don't even hold a candle to mouse above. All use good sensors and great wireless tech. No funny cell business no obsolete designs.
For example the Mchose G3 costs 2k on meckeys and everywhere else is around 3.5k
Anyways if u want a mouse really quick like asap then u could go for the ATK A9 l, it's not a great mouse but it's way better than most options u've or commenters have listed.
https://www.genesispc.in/products/atk-dragonfly-a9-series-lightweight-wireless-gaming-mouse
If u don't like my reccs then go for the Cosmic Byte Atlas, it's a trash brand that ignores RMA like plague but overall that mouse is okay. It's basically a Monka mouse with a CB sticker applied on top.
CB Blitz
Mouse bhai 😭
Oops my bad
Wireless and you have to extend your budget But I'd say go for a wired one.
2k get a wired one not worth getting a wire less mouse
Logitech g304 mil rha h 2300 ka shyd wo lele mene chalaya h badiya h
Hey everyone, I’m in the middle of upgrading my setup and trying to figure out what the best gaming mouse is right now. I’ve seen a lot of mixed opinions online, especially when it comes to wired vs wireless gaming mice, so I thought I’d ask here.
I mostly play FPS games, but I also dabble in MMOs and strategy games. I care about accuracy, comfort, and low latency, the usual stuff. I’ve got a decent budget (around $150 max), but I’m open to spending a bit more if it’s really worth it.
Curious what you all are using:
Appreciate any thoughts or personal recs. There’s so much out there right now that it’s kind of overwhelming.
Update: Thanks for all the great responses, I went with Logitech G502 X Plus.
Based on everyone’s input, some of the most recommended mice include:
Most people leaned toward wireless these days, but a few mentioned that wired mice still win when it comes to zero interference.
I was in the same boat a few months ago and ended up going with the Razer Viper V3 Pro. It’s been fantastic. Super light, no noticeable latency, and the new sensor is dead accurate. I was skeptical about wireless for years, but honestly, it feels just as fast as wired now.
I also tried the Pulsar X2H Wireless and it’s a solid option too, especially for the price. Great shape if you claw or fingertip.
If you’re on a tighter budget or just prefer wired, I still think the XM1r holds up really well. But wireless is the way to go these days IMO, tech’s caught up.
Thanks for the detailed input! The Viper V3 Pro definitely sounds like a strong contender. Out of curiosity, how has the battery life been on it with regular use? And for the Pulsar X2H, did you notice any differences in click feel or build quality compared to the Viper? Just trying to narrow things down based on long-term comfort and durability.
Another vote for the viper v3 pro! Been awesome so far
G502 wired, i love it, i hate wireless mice.
Thanks for the recommendation! I've heard great things about the G502. I get why some people prefer wired too, no lag, no charging, just plug and play. Have you tried any of the newer wireless ones recently, or just sticking with what works?
I have a G502 hero wired for my desktop and a wireless G502 Lightspeed for laptop use, connected via Logitech USB wireless adapter - the wireless is just as good, battery lasts ages, I personally can't perceive any difference in latency (I'm hardly a hardcore player though, the additional latency is definitely going to be there) also no notable difference in weight my biggest gripe is HAVING to use the newer G software, hate it. (not bad bad as Synape though 😅) the older one was so much more friendly imo.
Both great mice, would never buy any peripheral from anyone other than Logitech now, had my wired since 2018 or 19, wireless since 2022 second hand. My G510s since 2013. Except headphones, but I prefer proper headphones as oppose to headsets.
Edit: if I suddenly needed a new mouse for my desktop, I'd buy wired again without a doubt. Charging would eventually get on my nerves to the point I'd just leave it plugged in.
G502 X Plus, best all-around Logitech gaming mouse. Super fast Lightspeed wireless, HERO 25K sensor, customizable buttons, RGB, and feels great in hand.
Appreciate the recommendation! The G502 X Plus definitely seems feature-packed. How do you find the weight for fast-paced games like FPS? And do you use the customizable buttons a lot in your setup, or are they more of a nice-to-have?
That's actually super helpful, I didn’t realize modern wireless mice have higher polling rates than most wired ones now. Makes me rethink the whole wired = faster assumption. The Attack Shark R6 sounds like a crazy good deal too, especially for under $50 and that weight. I’ll definitely check out r/mousereview for more insights. Appreciate you dropping all this info!
Also Boardzy and Aimadapt are good youtube channels if you want to see reviews of mice and get recommendations.
Wireless and wired when it comes to latency and response time is pretty meaningless now days.
What matters is how much space you have, what sensitivity you use and the shape and weight of the mouse you’re most comfortable with.
Wired mice are fine for a lot of people, but if you aim with your arm or use low sensitivity and just want the freedom of not having a cord flying around while you do those things, wireless might be your jam like a lot of us.
If you use higher sensitivity and trying to ball on a budget, then wired might be more economical.
Totally fair points, seems like it really comes down to personal preference and setup. Curious, what kind of sensitivity and grip style do you use yourself? And have you noticed any real-world differences switching between wired and wireless for your playstyle?
I am looking for a lightweight gaming mouse with a good palm grip. I know a gaming mouse is the most subjective thing out there - but I need help at least narrowing down the brands that are reliable - and specific mice suggestions are welcome too. My preference is a wireless one foremost, but if there's an input lag - I can consider wired as well. The looks/shape of the mice don't matter to me as much as response time does.
What are the best lightweight gaming mice with a great palm grip? Wireless is my first choice, but only if the input lag isn’t an issue. Would love to hear what’s worked best for you guys...
The Maya X 🔥
Biased cause we have a collab with Lamzu but it was my favorite / main mouse beforehand too!
Bro tell me about Rog harpe ace mini
What about it haha, also a great mouse that we had worked on (OG size) but the Maya X does everything right for me
Yep, maya x is really nice. I think they released the Inca too recently, which should be the same mouse but slightly different shape.
Is it intentionally able to double click? (I’m a Minecraft player)
+1 for the maya. Hands down my favorite mouse!
If you told us the size of your hand it would be easier. But generally for palm something like an Pulsar Xlite would be a good choice because it comes in 3 sizes.
currently using the Maya X, definitely a real winner.
Viper v3 pro. I'm not a fan of the Maya's shape
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qm94e9nCEvc
Motion sync ON by default as well and cannot be turned off makes the motion floaty AF.
Hitscan Hyperlight.
If I’ve been using the Razer basilisk v3 wired do you think I would be able to get used to this mouse? I use palm grip and have regular-large hands, it looks super cool but idk if I can rock it
I currently have a wired razer deathadder but would like a new wireless one I have seen some good options from Razer, Steelseries, Logitech and Glorious which mice would you recommend for a variety of different games Thanks for any recommendations 😃
GPX is always a very safe purchase.
I see a lot of people recommend the GPX would this be better than the razer viper v2 pro
Tbf Razer V2 Pro is great as well. However, having used only the GPX, I can 100% recommend it.
Personally I'd stay away from Glorious mice. Everyone I've owned has had qc issues. Assuming you want to stay with an ergo shape the obvious upgrade would be one of the Deathadder wireless models, EC1-CW, also Pulsar's Xlite V3 is releasing soon which looks promising.
Thanks for the advice I would also be willing to try an ambidextrous mouse
Deathadder v2 Pro are decently priced these days, I nabbed a "Used - Like New" one on Amazon for $37 and it is flawless. RVU and RBU are nice options too, and same generation as DAv2 Pro. (I have all three) Charging dock works on all three. For the DA, I found the surface to be slippy, so I added grips.
Pulsefire Haste 2 just came out and looks interesting.
Sounds like a good deal 😃
I'd stay away from the Deathadder V3 Pro. From my experience with 2 copies, the left mouse button seems to wobble and almost feel loose at times. I can recommend the GPX, having used different mice and always went back to it.
Most people in here seem to recommend the GPX
Yeah, it's a solid all around and most people seem to be able to use their preferred grip with it aswell.
The G Pro is still the king
Would the G Pro be worth it over the razer viper v2 pro
I'm currently using the logitech g403 mouse but looking to change to a wireless one. I like the play competitive games like valoranr csgo and abit of warzone what do you guys recommend?
Razer Viper ultimate for smaller hands / claw grip and G pro wireless for larger hands / palm grip.
Yeah I play palm grip should be fine with this mouse hopefully not to weird going from a g403
If anyone sees this after such a long time: really want to recharge by cable, but absolutely dont want to add another cable to charge my mouse. Everything i use is usb-c, arent there top tier gaming mice charged by usb-c? Seen just 2 until now but didnt like its design
What do tou mean you want a USB c wireless mouse? See if you can get a logitech powerplay mouse pad best thing I've ever had charges without cables in the mouse while playing so always wireless
I like the idea of it, but that feels like a rip-off, having to have the cable there all the time while i’m using a ‘wireless’ mouse. If I get the powerplay mousepad I could as well just buy a wired mouse and save money🤷🏻♂️
The G703 Hero has the exact same shape as your g403. So if you like the shape, this could be a good choice.
Ahh didn't know that just ordered the gpwx superlight is there much of a size difference?
Your g403 is a little bit bigger. But it should work for you. I can use both of them with no size issues. (20x10 cm hands)
G703 , GPWX SUPERLIGHT
Thanks man gpwx looks same shape as mine may get that
Its not, its very different shape actually, G403 is ergonomic and GPWX is ambidextrous
If you used ergo for years, ambi might feel VERY awkward for you, I'd recommend try it first before buying
+1 on the G703... excellent mouse.
What’s everyone’s go to/recommended mouse for FPS games? (Unfortunately excluding Finalmouse since they are so hard to obtain.) Been thinking about getting a superlight.
TIA!
G pro superlight for ambi, pulsar xlite v2 for ergo imo.
>fir ergo
new to the scene what does this mean?
It's a typo, he meant to say "for ergo" as in ergonomic shaped mouse
What he said
My Aimlab scores seem more or less consistent across all mice, so I just go with comfort. I'm not sweaty good, but I'm not bad at FPS.
It depends on the person. But the "safest" oversll recommendation is probably the logitech Gpro superlight
Unless you want one right now, I'd wait for the new Viper Ultimate
FNATIC Bolt has been my go-to since its launch.
Also found myself enjoying the Ninjutso Origin One X quite a bit lately.
best wireless gaming mouse
Key Considerations for Choosing a Wireless Gaming Mouse:
Sensor Quality: Look for a mouse with a high-quality optical or laser sensor. DPI (dots per inch) ratings of 16,000 or higher are common in gaming mice, providing precision and responsiveness.
Battery Life: Consider a mouse with long battery life (at least 50 hours) or one that offers quick charging features. Some models have a power-saving mode to extend battery life.
Weight and Ergonomics: Choose a mouse that feels comfortable in your hand, especially for long gaming sessions. Adjustable weights can also help customize the feel.
Polling Rate: A higher polling rate (1000 Hz is standard) means the mouse reports its position to the computer more frequently, resulting in smoother and more responsive gameplay.
Customization Options: Look for programmable buttons and customizable RGB lighting to enhance your gaming experience and match your setup.
Recommendations:
Logitech G Pro X Superlight: This mouse is highly regarded for its ultra-lightweight design (63g), excellent HERO 25K sensor, and impressive battery life (up to 70 hours). It's designed for competitive gaming and offers great performance.
Razer Viper Ultimate: Another excellent choice, featuring Razer's Focus+ Optical Sensor with up to 20,000 DPI, a lightweight design, and customizable RGB lighting. It also has a battery life of around 70 hours.
SteelSeries Rival 650 Wireless: This mouse offers dual sensors for precision tracking, customizable weights, and a fast charging feature that provides 10 hours of use from just 15 minutes of charging.
Choosing any of these options will provide you with a high-performance wireless gaming mouse that enhances your gaming experience.
