Youtube videos (not Youtube Music service) don't provide 320kbps at all, it's 128kbps AAC, which is a bit better than 128kbps MP3 but still subpar. You can't make audio quality out of nowhere. Use Jdownloader to download with exactly the same quality that youtube provides, because re-coding to 320kbps through converters will make it even worse

i personally like to use youtube-dl and yt-dlp. These are command line programs which can be used to download a video or playlist in audio or video form. It's much less tedious than using an online converter for bulk downloads and it isn't too hard to set up.

I've never noticed. But I do have adblocker installed. Thetez 2 sites called y2mate. One of an was full of pop ups. The other just loads. It's kind of what you expect anyway with those type of sites.

There's an add on that work in Firefox that you can basically point at the source and say I want that. And it'll download it in audio form. I'll look on my pc later and see what it was.

I've used jdownloader for years, it isn't just for YouTube it will literally grab anything from a website be it html, video, audio, JavaScript files you name it. You can chose what to download once it has scanned a webpage or YouTube video.

I use 4kdownload.com which is my personal favourite - just make sure when downloading MP3s from YouTube, it's cool with copyright laws and the creator's okay with it.

Pick a downloader that lets you choose the sound quality, and watch out for sketchy sites that might have malware. It's safer to use an ad blocker too.

Before downloading, check if you can get the music legally somewhere else, and don't give away too much personal info. Most importantly, always respect the creators and their rights.

4k video downloader is my favorite. It’s a free app you can download, just search it up. A lot better than websites in my opinion, and definitely safe to use. I have used it for a long time with no problems and it is a well known app.

Do you have an audio interface? If so, I would just skip the software and buy a 3.5mm -> Stereo XLR cable. You then run it from your headphone jack on your computer/laptop and into your audio interface. Just make sure your laptop is running your internal soundcard, and your DAW is running your Audio Interface sound card and you should be good to record from YouTube.

You can record system audio directly into audacity. I just do that: play the video, hit record on Audacity (using the Windows WASAPI option under Interface in Preferences)

Flvto is a popular YouTube to MP3 converter. It's easy and safe to use.

MediaHuman works great for me, but is unfortunately not Open Source (so you have to see for your self if you want to trust this program). Youtube Downloader is open source, but for downloading mp4's . Both work excellent.
