Find some coins and buy the i-frame dash ability.

The first advice I give to new players is to get used to jumping and shooting at the same time by rolling your thumb instead of picking it up from shoot button, moving to jump button, then back to shoot if that makes sense. Its natural for some people and for others it's a weird thing to get the hang of

Heres the first tip just relax and remain calm because this game is a rager lol.

From the game itself to the dlc its fantastic but challenging in its on right. There's really no tricks that come to mind just be patient, calm, and strike whenever possible. If a boss feels too hard dont be afraid to watch the walk through of it. I had to for a few of em.

Most of the bosses arent overly extreme outside of mad scientist, or Mr king dice

Try not to get too frustrated when you die, easier said than done I know, but it will happen a lot. The key is just getting used to each boss's movement/attack patterns. Just keep at it and you'll soon notice yourself getting better and further.

I was where you were once, I think it's safe bet to say that most everyone here was. But, like all of us, through time and perseverance you'll get there.

If you ever need help beating any specific boss there's plenty of tips on here already. If you can't find what you need then just ask. Though try to be specific in regards to what you're struggling with, such as which part of the R&G or phase of the boss fight you're dropping health on.

I don't actually have the game, but I do have some tips from watching other people play!

• Talk to the apple guy to get three coins. Use them to buy smoke bomb.
• Equip it and go to a run 'n' gun level. It's a lot easier to get coins with smoke-bomb! (To me it is, anyways. I've played a run 'n' gun with a friend before.)
• try to get enough coins for round-a-bout. This will help you on most bosses.
• The root pack is a great tutorial on shooting and aiming. Goopy is a great ducking and dashing tutorial. I'd advise you play those two until you've got those controls down.

Use Roundabout. That should get you through 99% of the game.

Use smoke bomb

Unless you’ve beaten every boss and seen the credits roll, don’t worry too much about rank.
You can’t actually get an S rank until you have unlocked Expert Mode though finishing the game. But even getting A rank doesn’t give you anything extra to help out.
Just focus on getting through all the fights alive, getting your coins on run ‘n’ gun levels and talk to everyone on the map for extra stuff.
Don’t forget to equip stuff you buy and try out new weapons and supers.
Even if they seem ineffective, make sure you understand how they work, because I guarantee you’ll find yourself in situations where switching weapons will help a ton.
Once you’ve cleared every fight, if you want more, you can go back and try to A Rank them, or clear them in Expert Mode, or S Rank them in Expert Mode.

Always be shooting, most basic tip but also the most useful learn how to move, dodge, dash and parry all while holding down the x button, it’ll save a lot of time and you’ll beat the bosses way faster

Dashing and parrying are the two skills you need to learn the most. If you ever get stuck, it's likely that one of those can save you. Finally, always consider what guns and charm to use in each level

Roundabout and lobber are the best along side with the invisible dash. Your first super is the only good one you get honestly. But that’s my opinion. Also just switch the controls for shoot to right bumper. Original controls make the game 10x more anal

Remember, your monitor loves you for who you are. It is not laughing at you for failing a boss fight. Do not punch a hole through it.

Console fs. PC controls are solid imo. But I play groove coaster on pc so I don’t think any game can annoy me when it comes to fast clicks on a keyboard lol

Play a boss enough so you understand patterns. After that you can beat any boss with any weapon.

My 100% achievements playtrough took 2800 deaths.

Definitely think and do research before spending coins cuz you only get so many . Chaser, spread and smoke charm are great

Depends on how you want to play, and what boss you’re fighting. If you like to stay back and shoot from a far, like with ribby and croaks for instance, roundabout would be a good option. If you prefer to do higher dps and enjoy close combat (which can be harder) something like spread would be better. A lot of the fun of the game comes from trying different stuff and seeing what’s the most effective for any particular boss. But if you get bored or feel like you’re struggling with a specific boss, don’t feel bad about looking up the recommendations for that boss. Remember, you gotta have a great plan and then some! Hope you enjoy the journey :)

Get the improved dash asap. Also the roundabout shot is insane if you know how to use it

honestly. roundabout and spread or roundabout and crackshot got me thru most of the game

Been playing for awhile.

Early, my advice is to get Smokebomb (invincible dash) and the Roundabout weapon first.

Spend your first 4 coins on Roundabout. Do the first Run-n-Gun and then buy Smokebomb.

Those 2 items should be able to carry you through Isle 1 and quite a few other bosses.

Coffee is a good item for plane levels to be able to spam ex attack more frequently.

Are you changing your weapons for each boss? My advice is to fight one boss at a time, get good at that and then keep going. Gotta keep practicing.

What is cuphead in mobile?

Cuphead was brutal for me until I started paying attention to the upgrade path and what weapons I was choosing. The right loadouts will make the toughest boss far more manageable.

Use an xbox controller. And a good mindset

Just keep trying, in the Run and Gun levels try to do it patience, they’re all optional and you only need them for the coins.

Buy the Roundabout shot ASAP with those coins and jump to the bosses.

Just for being good in DS and Sekiro doesn’t mean you’re already good here. I played Cuphead first and then took 1 hour to beat Gundyr in DS.

if you don't want to do the run and guns then get past the tutorial and get the coin then talk to apple that will get you four coins and you can use it to buy something personally buy roundabout first

You think you throw the remote at the TV

Change the controllerbuttons, shoot with ZR and dodge with ZL. B jump will help you a LOT!!

Honestly it's all about trying to memorise the patterns of each boss, once you do that you'll start to progress further each time until eventually you'll start beating them. As others have said though, try and do the run and gun levels to get some coins to buy better items. Best of luck!

Always do the non boss levels first so that you get to buy items from the shop, as for the first items I highly recommend the smoke bomb charm since it’ll be helpful for pretty much every battle, but always remember, git gud

Chaser is hated around here but that weapon got me through a ton of tough fights. Hold fire and play defense.

Put glue on controllers so you won't throw it and break something lol And use roundabout and smokebomb

I love watching my plat vid for this. I was so locked in at the end I was just jumping around the falling chip perfectly and I love reliving that moment. I have no idea how many hours it took to finally beat him but it was a lot. Congrats 🎉

I expected it to be way harder based on the stories i heard about it on release. It wasn't easy, but it wasn't some rage inducing impossible game either. Just a pleasant challenge
