TL;DR
Contact Methods
Amazon provides several ways to contact customer service, though direct phone numbers and emails are not always readily available. For general inquiries, you can use the Amazon website's "Help" section, which allows you to chat with a bot and request a phone call [2:4],
[4]. The phone number 888-280-4331 is often cited as a contact method for Amazon US
[3:1],
[5:1]. However, users have reported that calls may not be accepted at certain times
[3:3].
Seller Support
For sellers whose accounts have been deactivated, contacting Amazon can be challenging. While there isn't a direct public-facing email for seller support, emailing seller-performance@amazon.com with your account details and issue can be a potential route [1:1]. It's recommended to be clear, concise, and professional in your communication.
Alternative Options
Some users have suggested using apps like Dayapp to contact Amazon [2:3]. Additionally, for specific issues related to ComiXology, Amazon has integrated their support, but users have found it less responsive than before
[4:1],
[4:3].
International Contacts
For international customers, such as those in Singapore, finding a direct contact number can be difficult. Users have expressed frustration over the lack of accessible contact information for Amazon services outside the US [5:4].
Recommendations Beyond Discussions
If you're facing difficulties contacting Amazon, consider reaching out through multiple channels, including social media platforms where Amazon may have active customer service representatives. Additionally, ensure that any communication is through verified Amazon channels to avoid scams or phishing attempts.
Is there anyway to contact Amazon seller Support through a direct email because my account has been shut down and I cannot go into the account to start a case which they don’t respond to anyway does anyone know if there’s a direct email to contact Amazon seller support?
I've seen this type of Section 3 suspension before. It's tough. The key is that your Plan of Action needs to focus heavily on the 'Preventive Measures' section... If you get stuck and need a professional to look at it, feel free to send me a DM.
Unfortunately, Amazon doesn’t offer a direct public-facing email for seller support. If your account is deactivated, your best option is to go through the Seller Appeal page or try emailing seller-performance@amazon.com with your account details and issue. Be clear, concise, and professional in your message.
Amazon has grown to become the biggest e-commerce retailer in the world. According to Statista.com, 206 million people shop on the website every month. The wide range of products, competitive prices, and convenience are some of the factors that make Amazon a go-to online shopping platform. While consumers enjoy buying from them, there are many of those who wish to know how to call Amazon customer service.
They’re actually good at what they do and they hide their numbers so Karens don’t google maps a local Amazon distribution center to yell at a defenseless rep because she didn’t know how to place an order on the website.
Also their chat bot is really good with dealing with all issues
You can try to use Dayapp. I use to contact Amazon with it all the time.
You can live to chat with a bot and then you can ask for a phone call. I don't know if that helps.

I tried the 888-280-4331 number and there was no response. Someone is trying to scam me and I need to message or call Amazon. Is there any way any of you are aware of to contact them?
Thank you
So as far as everyone knows, right now there’s just no way to contact amazon?
I called Amazon and they said they’re not accepting calls right now.
I tried today and calls not being accepted. I tried their customer service email cis@amazon.com and email was returned as not accepting mail
Yep. That sounds about right. Amazon’s “response” to the crisis is to not respond at all.
Via chat
I did try that and nothing came up.
On Amazon's site, go to the bottom and on the right hand side, click on "Help" under "Let us Help You". Then click on "eBooks, Prime Video or Music", then "Kindle eBooks/Digital Content", then "Problem with Kindle book/Digital Content", then "Problem downloading a Kindle book", and finally "I need more help". You can then either chat online with them or have them call you.
Tell them that you are a comiXology customer and then calmly list every problem you're having from downloads on the new app to reading in a web browser. Tell them you want all of these issues reported to the appropriate department.
I hate to say it, but this is really the only way to give our feedback now.
All the tweets from ComiXology customer support responding to user issues now just say “Contact Amazon”, so I guess they basically shut down the dedicated ComiXology support.
Which is interesting, because on Amazon they give the comiXology support email.
They'll just keep bouncing us back and forth until we leave!
This sucks. For years if I had a complaint, question, even just random praise, I could contact Comixology and a legit person would get back to me. They were always helpful and supportive and seemed to genuinely care about comics and our experience.
I knew it was going to be bad when I tried to contact them when these changes were first announced. For the first time in ever I got a generic auto reply that had nothing to do w anything.
Look I'm sorry to say this but T1 support is a dead end. The job of tier 1 support is to get you to stop contacting the company. They have no metrics for issue resolution just average call time & average answer time aka, how many people did you clear out of the queue during your shift. Your feedback is going into a black hole, it's not being reported to anyone.
Cancel your Comixology Unlimited Sub if you have one, stop buying comics from Amazon. This is the only feedback that may matter... and it's not likely that it will matter. Whatever changes are going to be made to the app are in a roadmap that is most likely locked in for a year or more.
Do not expect any major improvements in this app anytime in the next quarter at least. Cancel your unlimited sub and walk away. Anything else is just wasting your own energy.
That’s reasonable advice, but many people have thousands of books in ComiXology, including hundreds ‘DRM-free’ titles from Image Comics, Valiant, etc. For the time being, all Marvel comics (50% of the total comics library) are safe in the Marvel app, which remains intact (thanks to Marvel). I don’t really care what Amazon does, as long as I can access my other titles in their original resolution, interface and database info, on other websites or in another app if necessary.
I filled out i9g five times and nothing happend
Hi
Where are you in the world?
Amazon US: 888-280-4331
Where did you get this info from?? Because when I called that # because they claim my account was on hold due to suspicious activity they sent me a link to verify my acc and now I have no account because they closed it and this is the email I received right after that is not from Amazon look at the shitty Amazon logo For
The logo isn't set up for dark mode. This is the number I call every time I have a problem with Amazon. That looks like a standard Amazon reply email which they send you every time you call them. They are saying that they fixed your issue. I have no idea what your problem is here. There is nothing shady with any of this.
The US Midwest
Does anyone have one that works with Singapore Amazon ?
What was their mistake, and what's your next step?
As usual, promises of expedited delivery selected by me not being fulfilled by Amazon despite paying for it. Item is on the van, I can see in tracking, but late. Then tracking states the van returned to their logistics hub. Updated to delivery the next day. Was supposed to be delivered 4-8AM the first day. I live in a metropolitan area, access is not an issue. Needed as we are leaving on a trip and the item would drastically improve conditions for the trip.
Did you call to speak to someone? If so what number did you use
1-800-201-7575
About 10 years ago, I had need to speak to someone at Amazon. I don't remember the steps involved, but it was easy to figure out. It was also surprising because I hit the button which said something like "call me" and at the very same instant, my phone rang which seemed impossible, lol.
Now, I have a problem with a return and would like to speak to someone but I can't figure out how to actually speak to someone.
Thanks!
Aaaaaaand, I submitted my request here, gave it another shot at amazon, and found it. Sigh.
Now, my stupid question is how do I delete this message.
The easiest way to find an answer is to ask the question
I swear it magically appears afterwards
It did seem as though the universe provided. Husband and I had searched the amazon site for 20+ minutes and then gave up. I asked here. Presto, bingo, there's my answer!
I've been having serious issues with my Amazon orders in the last 2 months and the customer service is basically just lying to me at this point and keeps sending me copy paste replies.
What type of issues? I can help direct you if I know what the issue is.
Two separate orders out of stock & not shipping after I've been lied to on at least 20 separate occasions (chat, mail, phone) that the item/s would ship today, within 2 business days or on a certain date. I was told to cancel the first one because they finally told me it would not be back in stock, and now for the second one I'm told to wait for the estimated delivery date. Now because of Amazon's incompetence and lies, it's going to cost me a lot of money since my country is going to make import charges and VAT way higher than before on Jan 1st. Plus I cannot access chat anymore, I'm always getting the message "sorry we hit a snag, chat currently not available", so I have to email them, where they just send me copy paste replies, or I have to call, which also in the end amounts to nothing.
What country are you in? If you need to reorder something due to Amazon’s mistake they can offer you a price-adjustment which is basically just a partial refund for the difference once the new order arrives. Now this is the policy for Amazon US, if you’re in a different country policies might be different, but your best bet would be to call their direct number and speak to an associate, ask for a manager if necessary as well.
Good luck!
nope
and can’t find chat link on webpage or in the app? Send help. Thanks
If you have Apple app, click on the three lines top left, all the way at the bottom is Customer Service, click on that, and then all the way at the bottom of that page is Contact Us. Takes you to chat.
Thank you! Idk why I couldn’t find that originally. I’ll give it a go
I just deleted my post because I found the chat option some of you are speaking of. Thank you for this information! ⭐
Unfortunately, the only way to contact them at this time is through the phone number listed on their website. However, you can use a site like Spokeo to find their contact information. Simply enter their name and location into the search bar, and the site will provide you with all of the contact information for that person or company.
They told me that every product page has a link on the left side for chat, but I could never find it.
It's more difficult than it needs to be.
I am trying to find a support chat or phone number to contact Amazon Canada for a website issue. My searches have resulted in being directed to the same page. It looks like there is no way possible to contact Amazon Canada customer support. In the past, I was able to find a contact us button that allow me to start a support call.
Does anyone know how to contact Amazon?
Amazon has blocked my calls. Someone had stolen my drop box package before I got there and Amazon refuse to reship my package and they blocked me from Calling. Out of aggregation I closed my Amazon account and will not pay the affirm loan because I did not receive my package. And i will never shop at Amazon again
Current way I got to chat support as of 08/13/25 on PC
Go to the 'contact us' page:
>Hover over the "Hello (name)" on the top right
>Customer Service
>Help with something else
>Something else
>I need help with something else
Once you are brought into the automated chat:
say "Real person please"
>It's something else
say "I need help"
>Something not listed above
>Chat with an associate now
Not like they can do anything anyways, but now it should bring you into a chat with an associate. Have fun in support hell :)
it's easier on PC in a browser. Just hover over "Hello (insert name here) Account and Lists in the upper right hand corner then go to Customer Service > Help with Something else > (Big Question mark) Something Else > I Need More Help > then that will bring up the messaging assistant, in the messaging assistant click "Something else" and for a second or two it will show a little icon of a person with a headset on, try and click that before it disappears. You should be able to get ahold of a live person that way.
Bottomline Amazon has made it a pita to contact them. About 2yrs ago it was really easy but not anymore.
Maybe the site looks different where you are but for me there is no 'Customer Service' in my list. You have to click on 'Your Account' and then click 'Customer Service'. Then there's no 'Help with Something Else' with a big question mark, just three dots and 'Something Else'. Clicking that does not lead to an icon with a person wearing a headset, it takes me to a page titled 'Pick What You Need Help With' with eight options, one of them being 'Contact Us'. Clicking it automatically opens the automated chat bot.
Literally impossible to talk to a human here.
I’m in the same boat. Have you found a way to chat?
Still works! as of April 25 2024. Had to copy and paste "Something else" so I could hit enter and click the icon of the person with a headset at the same time.
This worked for me!!! Thank you! 12/18/2024
Savior - thanks.
Why does Amazon tell me it can’t deliver to this. Address
I joined the Mediterranean diet plan. I wonder if I purchased a magazine?
I ordered a lipstick that was opened and then sealed with a sticky label. I can understand it not being able to return it, but no refund and no way to contact neither the seller nor amazon. Any email or way to msg them would be appreciate it. Thank you.
You will get a list of orders. Pick the correct one and then you will get some options.
I tried that but it still doesnt give me an option to contact them. I just keep getting a msg saying item cant be returned and to contact amazon, but its like a loop. I keep going back and forth between that msg and the one saying to contact them. Im lost.
Just keep selecting "need help with something else". You have to do it a couple times, but eventually it'll ask if you want to call or chat
