Back up when it spawns, let it get about half health, then wack it a bunch

Use any heals if u have when low at all

And use bow and arrows

My advice is don’t die

Trap it in an obsidian box with 5 or 6 iron golems in that box, use a smite V sword.

Don’t spawn it anywhere near your base

There are wither killing designs online if you wanna cheese it, otherwise bring potions and spawn it about 20 blocks above bedrock underground. Bring potions for healing and strength, lots of arrows and a smite 5 sword will melt him during phase 2. Totems are never bad to have and a raid/totem farm is easy just time consuming to make. Also fighting underground is sure to get you shulkers worth of deepslate. Be weary that you'll need a bigger space to spawn him in tha you think or he'll spawn somewhere in a wall. Id do atleast a 6×6×6 and you should be good.

The way I did it was placing it in a big chamber near bedrock full of iron golems, and using nothing but heal 2 arrows (and a smite sword). The arrows heal your golems and hurt the undead

I fight it like normal in the end. Endstone doesn’t break super easy and it stays on the main island for all my fights with it.

Smite 5 and rush it don’t wait

Ths first time I killed it I was deep in my mine, I had cut out 2×1 paths in all directions so I could attack and escape if things got hairy. Once it was dead it also gave me the added benifit of opening up a really large space underground

Im stuck trying to kill it too, this tine im bringing regen potions and 6 stacks of arrows so hopefully ill be able to kill him that way

Try in water it require additional enchanted equipment but wither heads are way easier to dodge also in water wither will not blow up your base.

Tip number 1: Putting 4 blocks of Soul Sand in a T-formation and putting 3 Wither Skeleton Skulls on top of the formation is what you would call a very bad idea.

Tip number 2: Doing the aforementioned procedure in the End with the Ender Dragon around is an extremely bad idea.

Fight in 1x2 tunnel

You can spawn him up near the nether ceiling so he can't fly up. If you don't want to do that, fight him down at bedrock in the overworld.

Lure it far away from spawn and into a cave or underground, then fight it there.

I just go to the -24 -1 and dig all the way down to get that bedrock shape, it’s same concept as yours but doesn’t require the end

Yesssss i did this 3 times so i could get a wither star as a trophy as well as make 2 beacons

Honestly i made a bedrock farm and never thought i'd actually use it, until i realized what i had in my hands, bedrock, i've had bedrock this whole time, i could make a literal cage for the wither with this stuff and kill them in whichever cage shape i like, and as long as i don't update to 1.21.71, if i misplace blocks, i can just destroy them with a pickle, and even if i DO update eventually and use bedrock, and misplace it, i can just make a backup before i start building with it, and then, evry time i make a mistake, i could just roll it back.

The amount of doors that have been sitting unlocked but unopened in my head since i first made that bedrock farm for fun is imeasurable :), i, am, ALL POWERFUL.

With some effort you can set up an auto spawning redstone setup that puts them in there 4 at a time and contains the skulls.

Bedrock’s withers are broken. It’s way harder to beat on bedrock than in Java, according to all of the clips I have seen.

You can also build a trap for him. Check YouTube for different setups.

Most involve obsidian placed around the spawn location so that the wither is stuck and harmless.

Switching to peaceful (as already mentioned) is essentially the same thing, but maybe feels less “cheaty” to some.

For future battles, fight him up above ground in a flat area. It allows you to run and dodge easily while also keeping it from disappearing around a corner in a cave. I used a plains biome but I’ve seen desert as well, which could help you get sand. There’s also a cheese method with the bottom of the end portal in the end, but I haven’t tested it with 1.17+

Spawn him underneth the end exit, watch on yt for a tutorial.

At the point, all you can do is switch to peaceful :/

You can still get achievements if you do though, so that's a plus.
