Understanding the Style
K-pop idol fashion is diverse and often reflects the concept of their music or group persona. For concerts, it's suggested to match your outfit's color scheme with the group's vibe—lighter clothes for bubbly groups and darker ones for more intense performances [1:1]. Accessories and layering are essential components of K-pop style, adding depth and flair to any outfit
[1:2].
Where to Shop
Finding clothing similar to what K-pop idols wear can be challenging since many outfits are custom-made. However, there are several online stores where you can find similar styles. Fashion Chingu offers dupes of outfits worn by idols from major entertainment companies [3:1]. Websites like http://Yesstyle.com, Depop, and http://chuu.co.kr offer a variety of K-fashion items that align with the aesthetic of groups like Twice

Specific Items
Oversized hoodies are a staple in K-pop fashion. They are often loose-fitting, boxy, and have large arms. These can be found on platforms like AliExpress, Amazon, and eBay [4:2]. It's important to check sizing, as Asian sizes can differ significantly from Western sizes
[4:1]. For specific brands, Yeezy Gap hoodies were popular among idols, though they may need to be purchased second-hand due to the collaboration ending
[4:3].
Unique Styles and Brands
For those interested in unique idol-like outfits, ToAlice and Clearstone are brands that cater to this niche [2:1]
[2:2]. Vina of the Valley offers dresses that some idols have worn for photoshoots
[2:3]. If you're looking for something with a Twice-like aesthetic, Cider also has cute options that might fit the bill

Recommendations Beyond Discussions
When dressing like a K-pop idol, consider mixing high-end pieces with affordable finds to create a balanced look. Pay attention to details such as accessories, shoes, and hairstyles, which are integral to completing the idol look. Experiment with different styles and see what resonates with your personal taste while keeping an eye on current trends in K-pop fashion.
anyone knows? accept any styles.
color schemes of the outfits does highly depend on the group you’re seeing. like if it’s a more bubbly cutsie songs group wear lighter clothes and the opposite for more hype and louder groups . i’ll put down my suggestions even though i ain’t a boy🙏🏽😭
u could take inspiration from these. but basically accessories and layering is a MUST
Do you know what brand the last three images are?
wow!!! thanks for your comment it really helped a lot for me to help my friend!!!! all those clothes below are sickkkkk!i love em all!! thanks a lot for those inspirations!!! again, big big thanks.

I want to wear outfits like what jpop idols have but I know theirs are mostly custom made (I've checked aliexpress, taobao, devilinspired etc. and they don't have good selection) What are some online stores I can find them on?
There’s so much variety in “idol outfits” but the “easiest” to find would probably be similar to a school uniform for that 2010s classic idol look. Of course custom made is going to be the majority since it's harder to stand out if everyone has access to the same look.
Clearstone is mostly known for cosplay but they did outfit some idols, including the original LADYBABY so that might be worth a look too?
thanks for the help!! :) i'll check it out now
This isn’t fully your average jpop fashion. But I really love Mikan and her brand - Vina of the Valley Ik some idols have worn some of it for photoshoots. The dresses are so pretty 💕
amazon jp has cool outfits
https://www.toalice.co.jp/product/7119 seems like this brand makes idol-like outfits

Fashion Chingu sell dupes, most of what idols wear specially from the big 4 are fashion brands( I am not that knowledgeable with fashion brands so I let other commenters help you, hope you get your answer)
For some reason every single time I see a kpop idol wearing a hoodie of any kind, it always sits so perfectly loosely, boxy and oversized on them with the big arms and perfect shape. Where can I find these kinds of hoodies? I’m really desperate. Preferably with worldwide shipping please.
Here are some photos for reference
The 2nd one https://share.google/images/TaIPJ5IRt7vp1TReE
1st one and 3rd one same from gap
https://share.google/images/16RRYZiK7M5ZxSU7U
4th one maybe this one https://www.instagram.com/p/CqiQ7e-KraG/?igsh=MWhnNm9ha3dicHQ0Yw== you can find this type of hoodies on aliexpress, amazon, ebay, many sites
3rd one is yeezy gap. You can try and buy one resale (because the collaboration was terminated in 2024) or you could buy a replica (look through r/Fashionreps). But if you don’t care about having the gap logo, you can buy the double layered hoodie from Los Angeles Archive. They used to manufacture Yeezy stuff.
if you do find some hoodies like this make sure to check if it’s asian sizing and plan accordingly. once i ordered a jacket in size M and the seller messaged me and asked for my measurements. once i gave them they said i needed an XL (it was asian sizing). the XL came and it was still so small, not oversized like the picture!! turns out im just really tall. if you’re petite then this isn’t really an issue but still watch out!
I love their vibe and styles. But don't know where to shop for clothing that similar to their aesthetic.

chuu.co.kr
shein lol
I like Cider! They have cute things.
Look for kfashion on Depop.
I really love Red Velvet Joy's style! Since we are of similar height, and coloring, I've imitated some of her looks before.
Ooohhh sounds fun. What do you like about her style?
Her off-stage look is casual, but really chic and feminine at the same time. She's not afraid of colors and often wears bright colored-clothes. Also love how she likes to red lipstick with relaxed clothes. Since she is taller, she is seen more often with long dresses, coats and skirts, which suit her really well because of her height. Also there is a lot of retro-inspiration in her style.
I love Joy and Jennie style the most. I would love to imitate their style but I don't have the confidence and I have a different body shape from both of them.
Hwasa, I feel like she puts a lot of effort where she feels like and then sometimes just roam freely in baggy tees and pajamas. I like that kind of vibe also I have heavy thighs like her so I get a lot of confidence imitating her style.
Yes, Hwasa has amazing style! A fresh breath of air in the industry. She knows what suits her really well.
I like KARD Jiwoo’s style when she wears streetwear! Especially grunge looks, she absolutely rocks it. I’ve always preferred punk/“rough” fashion as opposed to chic feminine style, and she strikes a really good balance of attitude and beauty. I would love to imitate her style if I were more adventurous lol
Go for it! Wearing the style you want to wear is freeing :)
I do wear a “lite” version of streetwear style, but it’s hard to find statement pieces that fit me and then coordinate them
I had no idea. Thanks I'll check it out
Personally in love with Rosé's style! Although, not too sure if I can pull them off because I'm shorter than her lmao. I do love most of the BP members' styles in general. I also love Red Velvet members' casual style! Also, a fan of (G)-IDLE's styling (lots of pretty, colorful, elegant dresses in their stages); I like Miyeon's the most tho.
Might be a bit difficult to answer, since I don’t have many fashionable clothes and don’t know much about K-pop fashion, other than it being fashionable.
My school has a ‘dress up as a musical artist’ event soon, and I was leaning towards K-pop since I have some Korean style clothing (at least more than my other clothes). It’s in a week and I don’t really have time for shopping :(
I’d greatly appreciate your help! Xx
The more classy rich girl style makes me think of Jisoo, Jennie, and Wonyoung. However it doesn't really matter imo because no one is going to recognize specific idols, the best outcome is people just getting that you're an idol (unless you aren't in a western country, if that's the case I have no idea then!). You could maybe at least make yourself a fake little face mic to show you're a singer but even then you may still have people thinking your Ariana grande or something lol
I immediately think of Jisoo, because this outfit is very Dior but also some Wonyoung outfits btw you can serach for old money outfit
Wonyoung
Not a K-pop idol, but K-pop influencer Priscilla Kwon often goes for this style. She’s a great follow on IG.
This video: https://twitter.com/inuot7/status/1606852852156190720?s=46&t=38iGzEupzdYyjjT0Ou9iVQ shows how cold it is in Korea right now. Male idols wearing full suits are freezing imagine how the ladies feel???
Where I live (a tropical country) it’s just 27 degrees. And yet if I’m at home, I have to have on 2 sweaters and tights on. Sometimes with socks. I know it’s wayyyyy colder in Korea and these women are being made to wear super short dresses?? Sometimes without sleeves???
It’s so sad that they’re being styled like this in winter. There’s a way to make cute fashionable outfits even when it’s cold. I can’t even imagine how they feel and I hope no one gets sick from being exposed like that.
Here are some suggestions for the next sbs gayo daejeon:
The Michael Kors and Gabriela Hearst collections would be perfect!
Seriously. It was freezing. And almost every gg there was in about 3cms of thin cloth while many bgs were in jackets.
Tbh if you can't make an outfit that looks good and is still somewhat weather appropriate you shouldn't be a stylist.
I give up.
There's only so much stupidity I can stand this close to the end of the year.
Women. Do. Not. Have. To. Be. Half. Naked. All. The. Time!
OMG this. People can look sexy & stylish showing no skin at all.
Edit: changed a word.
Exactly!
Honestly first of all, there's zero need for the entire red carpet to be done outside in this weather. This shit is held at the Gocheok dome, you can't tell there isn't plenty of space INSIDE.
Thank you! This was ridiculous 😒
same sentiments last saturday 🤦♀️ what were they thinking
Not styling idols appropriately for the weather is my number 1 Kpop styling pet peeve. It drives me insane that these companies would prioritize fashion over idols freezing to death. Covered up doesn’t have to mean frumpy. At Kcon Saudi Arabia, every female idol was covered head to toe and still looked fabulous.
They desperately wanna objectify women, and its honestly sick
Red Velvet in custom Denicheur dresses for their R to V tour
They do SUCH a good ethereal/royal look and some of these fits are genuinely iconic (the red IU dress!! The Feel My Rhythm stages!!). No notes. Chef’s kiss.
I love IU in the red dress!
Agreed. I mainly wanted to highlight the brand because they are responsible for so many iconic K-pop looks.
