When planning a visit to Six Flags, understanding the potential wait times for rides can significantly enhance your experience. While the discussions provided do not directly address Six Flags ride wait times, here are some general strategies and considerations that can help you manage your time effectively at the park:
Use of Mobile Apps and Websites
Many theme parks, including Six Flags, offer mobile apps or websites that provide real-time updates on ride wait times. These tools can be invaluable in helping you plan your day, allowing you to prioritize rides with shorter waits and avoid those with longer queues.
Visit During Off-Peak Times
Visiting during off-peak times, such as weekdays or outside of school vacation periods, can result in shorter wait times. Additionally, arriving early when the park opens or staying later in the evening can also help you avoid the longest lines.
Consider Fast Pass Options
Six Flags offers various fast pass options, such as Flash Passes, which allow you to skip the regular lines for certain rides. While these passes come at an additional cost, they can save significant time, especially on popular attractions.
Plan Your Route
Before entering the park, take a look at the map and plan your route. Starting with rides at the back of the park and working your way forward can sometimes help you avoid initial crowds that gather at the entrance.
Monitor Weather Conditions
Weather can impact ride availability and wait times. On days with light rain, some visitors may leave the park, resulting in shorter lines. However, be aware that severe weather can lead to ride closures.
By utilizing these strategies, you can make the most of your visit to Six Flags and minimize the time spent waiting in line.
For those who do not know, an illegal shift is a presnap penalty that comes from one of two things:
All 11 players were never uniformly set after the ready for play
There are two men in a "motion" at the snap.
Awful football. This is on the coaches for their team lacking wherewithal and on Trevor Lawrence for not waiting until his team is set to finish his cadence. I see this on Saturday's working 4U football games. To have it at the NFL level is ridiculous.
I love punts, but I am an official at the HS level and so I love the rules too. I do a lot of film work for my local association, I just don't post it here
so yes, it did
Are there any really good youth football teams that could help us figure it out?
I was a line coach for my local Pop Warner team. I got this.
I reffed 4 youth games on Saturday. 7 of the 8 teams had no illegal shifts, even the team that lost 38 - 0. I'll give them a call
The plays are out of order. Whoops
We are out of order. This whole franchise is out of order!
Always refreshing to have people two weeks into the season in the game thread seriously questioning if our players are stupid.
To be fair, the Jaguars basically are the youth football team of the NFL
Hey now that's disrespectful to da bears
The bears are more like the retirement home football team if we're going by franchise age
miwa is slander is tolerated
I know no one likes it and it’s ugly but this van has been a pack van at my moving company since 2008 has 295000 km. Stored in the winter and. probably the best 08 frame in Canada. She’s mine now and the dream is to LS swap it. Always wanted a van for a daily, never thought I’d want an uplander. The more I’m driving it the less I’m ready for that engine to go. Been putting some work into it, but it’s inevitable. Im at the point tho if I have to I’ll store it until the time is right.
After extensive consideration, no, I will not hear you out.
Fair
I know a guy who put a 700hp ls mid engine into a1995 Toyota previa. Its awesome
That would be sick, nice vans are dying off is sad.

I had to dig up a picture
Theres a guy on youtube that put a cammed ls4 in an uplander. More possible than most of the dumb shit people come up with.
That’s what I like to hear 😂 Beside it’s LS swap the world not LS swap the easy
Ive always wondered if an Impala SS subframe would bolt up to one of these
I imagine everything would have to be custom and it would be very expensive and time-consuming. But I’ll store it if I have to and if someday everything lines up for me gladly drop $30,000 $40,000 for the first LS Lander
I’d imagine everything would be very custom and super expensive but someday I’d like to think it’s possible you know and if not, she’ll make a good casket 😂 I believe they put an LS4 in a Pontiac Montana so it’s possible

NEXT WEEK GUYS!!!1111!!!!!
boom just changed the video order in the playlist
False alarm: Boom only changed the episode order and removed a deleted video.
Imagine if Boom decided not to post any leaks and randomly upload a new part/episode
That would be funny

Wait is this real? I’m too naive to tell if this is a shit post or real confusion
It's real and I have no idea how to feel
AND THEY CALL HIM THE BLUE BLUR, BUT HE HASN’T DONE ANYTHING, WHY IS THAT?
Somebody already made this joke right after the direct aired.
Don't fret, it's a yellow one. Not an orange one.
We're safe.. for now.
Later in the direct: "the crimson butterfly…"
phew
I think you need your eyes checked dawg...
Uh, yeah? That sure is it... I honestly don't know what you're trying to say here, I'm just pointing out how the two butterflies don't really look alike...
Kirby fans when they see a yellow butterfly:
I feel like we had the worst luck this week... I tried to brush it off but my fiancee is very disappointed and said it ruined the trip. She said a lot more than that, including that she will never go back to Universal. Over the course of 3 days, Weds the 10th - Friday the 12th, we frequently ran into rides breaking down. In checking the app, 3-4 rides at Epic were all delayed at once. There are not many attractions at Epic so this was significant. Hagrids ride was closed for close to half a day at islands of adventure, then a 230 minute wait for the majority of the rest of the day. We waited in line for 1.5 hours at the Ministry of Magic before abandoning our spots due to a long delay and the app stating the ride is closed. (The ride opened 11 minutes after we left but then was delayed again for quite some time.) We then went to Yoshi and were in line for ~25 minutes and it broke down and was delayed, we decided to leave right away. We abandon MIB when we were next, due to waiting in line for 10 mins and a delay of ~25 minutes. From MIB we went to ET, while In queue they told us it's delayed. We walked out immediately. Finally, gringots ride broke down on us when we were next. The ride started after about 25 mins.
I understand that lines can get long and I have an option to pay additional money to avoid this, however, long lines due to ride reliability is not acceptable.
Please note, they don't tell you how long it will be delayed for so it's a gamble of the dice. In checking the app, you can see when it's running again.
Pay thousands of dollars to go on a vacation, just to wait in lines for... nothing... for multiple hours. Ohh and you can't ride the rides you want too because the wait times are 200 mins+
Other gripes: HHN was wayyyy too crowded. All rides were between 100-200 minutes. Queueing in a tent for that long with thousands of people is not enjoyable.
Things we enjoyed: Monsters Unchained was one of our favorites. It had like 15 minute wait times most of the time. Very underrated. Thumbs up to the robotics engineers! Velocicoaster is possibly the best coaster I've ever been on. We really enjoyed it. The hulk was huge and long. Great coaster. The park was not too busy (we picked our days based on this) so we were able to walk onto many rides. Hagrids was a ton of fun as well.
We were there this week as well and it was absolutely pathetic. Three rides in a row we waited for just for them to get delayed. We would wait awhile before finally leaving the line to go to a different ride for it to also break down. After the third time, my wife goes “this place costs way too much damn money for the rides to be having these kinds of issues”. Luckily today was better.
wait what rides were a 200+ min wait? i was here all week and saw DK Minecart get above that maybe once…
I was there today and Harry Potter spent a good portion of the day with 210min. I also waited 3 and a half hours on DK, even though it was listed as 150min.
i was there all day Wednesday and never saw 200+ so i probably missed it. there was a time when the wait time disappeared, I assume that was when it was delayed, even though i hopped in express and it was steady moving.
Same, we did all 4 parks and hhn this week and never saw a wait time for anything at 200 min. Hagrids was at 120 min a few times. We did hhn Thursday night and fnaf was the longest queue at 120 min. Jason and terrifier were at 90 min at one point. Everything else was under that. We were there from 6-11:30 and did 8 houses and enjoyed scare zones and food. Knocked out 4 houses in the first hour.
I think mine cart was the longest queue we saw this week and it did get up to 180-210 min after everything was closed down for hours for weather delay. We chose not to ride it for this reason and focused on riding/re-riding ones with shorter queues. Stardust broke down when we were close to the front of the line, we left the line immediately and asked a TM on the way out if we could possibly get a express pass and they gave us each one that was good for any ride that day. Stardust was down for hours but we kept an eye on it on this awesome wait time site and went back after it reopened.
You can choose to stand in long queues all day or you can frequently watch wait times and plan your day accordingly. I also spent weeks leading up to our vacation looking at what the wait times were like for the major rides on the days that we planned on going to each park, making note of what time of day they were highest.
Had an almost exact same experience as you, so i’m thinking OP may have exaggerated a littleee bit. Was lucky to hit Epic on wednesday and went on everything but DK multiple times. HHN was packed but that’s to be expected, we did not plan enough for it and ended up falling for the cyclical line traps and waiting longer than we needed for most of the houses.
Other than that wait times were very manageable with some minor planning.
Express pass my man. Even if the ride breaks down, you can come back whenever you want and skip the line.
There’s no reason to wait in lines anymore.
You shouldn't have to pay $200+ extra a person to be able to ride rides.
>There’s no reason to wait in lines anymore
EP isn't that good. It let's you skip half the line on a good day.
>It lets you skip half the line on a good day
So explain how i was able to consistently get on hagrids in 15 min when posted WT was 175…
This is the price of admission now. A base ticket just lets you see the park. There’s a reason the other line is called stand by.
Express pass is really good. It makes universal and IoA a one day affair with plenty of re-rides and time to spare. At Epic it allowed me to be “done” with rides by mid afternoon, allowing me to soak up all the other cool activities the park has to offer.
Go to guest services!!!
Guest services, they will make everything right.
Why not go alone? I love going to parks, especially new ones, alone because I can do what I want when I want and as many times as I want. Don't get me wrong I like going to parks with friends too but if I had to choose I would go alone majority of the time. Definitely not a knock on you or anything like that I'm just always curious as to why people need to go to an amusement park with someone and not alone. Maybe I'm just a loner lol.
Find a random person on Reddit to go to the park with or just go by myself. Hmmm......
I know, I'm willing to take that risk in a public place lol. Usually people are nice in the midwest!
I go on a trip every year to new parks, did a trip from MN to MI laat year including Great America and just the nature of ending up sitting next to a random person on evsry ride, I end up meeting a lot of cool people. Sometimes its just a 5 min conversation, sometimes I end up hanging out with them all day. Once I met someone at Six Flags Over Texas that was on a similar trip and we ended up hanging out at 3 different parks. Worst case if you go by yourself you are on your own schedule and can do whatever you want when you want to do it. Or you might get lucky and randomly meet some cool people.
Plus your meeting someone at the park, it’s not like your picking them up or dropping them off
Tf you gonna do? Kidnap someone while inside the park? Pay for someone to get into the park just to find a random victim? God people are so untrusting these days of situations with near 0 risk
I visited great adventure 27 times solo, Hershey 7 times solo, Dorney 5 times solo , kings dominion and kings island both 1x solo this year alone. My fiancée moved out of state for personal reasons and I visit her once a month and we go to parks together but I like them much more than her lol don’t feel afraid to go alone if you wanted to
If you can wait, my rollercoaster group will be there on 9/27
Please tell me more about your rollercoaster group and how I can be a part of it

I remember seeing yall at sfft
That was fun. We even got to be in the Mardi Gras parade.
I WILL say, going alone is not as intimidating as you may think. You can jump in all the single rider lanes! Also literally no one will notice or care that you’re alone. I do it all the time!
Six Flags ride wait times
Key Considerations for Six Flags Ride Wait Times:
Peak vs. Off-Peak Days: Visit during weekdays or off-peak seasons (like early spring or late fall) to experience shorter wait times. Weekends and holidays tend to be the busiest.
Time of Day: Arrive early when the park opens to enjoy popular rides with minimal wait. Lines typically get longer as the day progresses.
Ride Popularity: Some rides consistently have longer wait times. Research which rides are the most popular and plan your visit accordingly.
Flash Pass Options: Consider purchasing a Flash Pass (if available) to skip the regular lines for certain rides. This can significantly reduce your wait time.
Mobile Apps: Use the Six Flags mobile app to check real-time wait times for rides. This can help you plan your day and avoid long lines.
Takeaway: To maximize your time at Six Flags, plan your visit during off-peak times, arrive early, and utilize the park's mobile app for real-time updates on wait times. If you're willing to invest, a Flash Pass can enhance your experience by minimizing wait times for popular attractions.
