I’m new to the game and I’m growing my relationship with Shane, I’ve gotten him up to 9 hearts & he’s my boyfriend… yet I’ve missed a lot of events with him. I’ve only seen up to the ‘6 heart event’ (the filming one) nothing after that. Did I do something wrong? Coz I want to know his story.

Have you looked up how to trigger them? I don't remember off the top of my head, but you need to go to specific places at certain times of day to trigger the heart events. Sometimes weather matters too. I've had instances where I stacked 2-3 heart events on top of each other for that reason.

It looks like the ones you’ve missed are the 2-heart, 4-heart, 6-heart (the filming one counts as 7 and is in 2 parts) and the 8-heart event. It’s possible to still get them though, so don’t worry ! You just have to go into a specific location at the right time for each one.

Did you get a letter from him about Gridball? If so head to the bus stop between the hours of 4pm and 6pm to trigger the even. If not you need to exit your house before 6:30 am for the invite

i’m at 8 hearts with shane and i want to give him the flowers but ive only seen his heart event where he is passed out in Marnies and his letters, i was wondering if i gave him the flowers would i still be able to see previous events

Also wondering if i can still see the lower down events since i haven’t yet, im worried since im at like 8 hearts now im unable to see the 2 ect. events ??

You can't miss those heart events. When you meet the conditions, you'll trigger them. The only exception being Sam's 3 heart event which can only happen in year 1.

I often trigger Shane's heart events in completely different order because they have more specific conditions.

Okay so, Shane is the love of my life. Both in SW as irl. The thing is, I never got to play further than first winter. At that point, I had played many times but I got bored (winter is a little boring). So, for the first time, I'm playing with a friend and things are way funnier, so I got to explore the whole relationship with Shane. As soon as I could, I started dating him (I had no interest in anyone else whatsover). Once we were dating, I got to see that terrible event when he is a the edge of the cliff threatening to jump (6 hearts event I guess?). After that, he promised to seek help, so I decided it was time for me to marry him. About 3 or 4 days later, I did, and he moved with me.

My friend, who's a little hussy, is dating 5 villagers, and she told me that "in every 10 hearts event with the bachelors/bachelorettes, you get to kiss them"!!!! What!? How can I be 14 hearts in with my husband and not having had a first date? What did I miss????

Edit: I figured it out!!!! In case somebody else is looking for this in the future, Shane's 10 heart event is NEVER LOST, even if you married him, but it's harder to see. >!He won't invite you to watch the Zuzu City Tunnelers until you've seen his 7 and 8 heart events! Both of them ocurr in Marnie's farm when he is there so if you've already married him, you have a very narrow window to see them (Mondays from 10:30 to 11:30). At 7 hearts, he will tell Marnie he's saving a lot of money after abandoning a bad habit, at 8 hearts he will introduce you to his super cute chicken Charlie. It took me 2 whole weeks to see both events since I'm playing multiplayer and time never stops, so once one of the events happened, I spent like 4 hours there and I couldn't trigger the next event (Shane wasn't there anymore). The next day, after being introduced to Charlie, I left home at 6:00 am and he was there at my door making me fall in love even more than I've ever been.!<

So don't despair if for some reason the even never triggers, just follow the steps!

!Oh, and you can trigger his 14 hearts events without having seen his 10 heart event so, it's normal.!<

All of the 10 heart scenes are essentially 1 on 1 dates with the NPC.

They're pretty hard to miss.

In Shane's case... >!He sends you an invitation and you have to meet him at the bus stop!<

You may need to do his 7 and 8 heart events first.

I'm not exactly sure how you haven't had his 10 heart event. But I do know, that unless you actually hit the skip button during a cutscene, you can not officially miss it entirely. You will likely stumble upon some from several NPCs that way. Some events require you to trigger them, by entering an area within a specific time/season/weather etc. And some may require you to see the previous cutscene before the next one. Or sometimes you can get other cutscenes out of order.

Just know that it hasn't been lost forever. You will still get a chance to experience the cutscene.

FYI, that also includes events like Jodi if she invites you to dinner, it doesn't have to be that night specifically. There are multiple events that someone says to be here at a specific time, it just means that the next time you happen to be there at that time (possibly with a specific item with you), the event will trigger. It's really hard to actually miss something "important" like a cutscene. So don't stress, just enjoy!

I triggered it by going in early one morning. Although I'm not certain (the wiki says any time) it feels like you need to go in at a time when all three should be home - the game isn't very fussy about this generally, but it worked for me.

One of his events is very specific with time and weather. It has to be raining and late at night then you go to the area of the map where Marnie’s is and it should trigger the event

hi ! in fairly new to stardew valley and i recently took a liking to shane , im at 8 hearts with him but i have no idea how to trigger the heart events ? i keep getting really mixed answers . its winter in my game right now and im not sure if that affects it but id really like to get the 6th heart event soon . some people said i have to go to pelican town at 9pm but that hasn't worked for me and im starting to feel really confused :( any help would be amazing ! thank you in advance !!

After all that, if you want to go on to date him, buy a bouquet from Pierre. I think they're 150g, and then you can keep progressing to 10 hearts and potentially marriage.

Shane's 6: Enter Cindersap Forest between 9am and 8pm while storming or raining. It will never rain in winter unless you use a rain totem.

Shane's 7.1: Enter Marnie's Ranch while Shane is home after triggering Shane's six heart event.

Shane's 7.2: Enter the town between 10am and 4pm on a sunny day. (Also requires 2 hearts with both Emily and Clint.)

Shane's 8: Enter Marnie's Ranch while Shane is home.

I recently started playing again after about a year and picked up on a save file I had previously. I can’t remember if I’ve triggered the six and seven heart events, but when I have recent tried to, they don’t trigger so I’m assuming they’ve already been seen. For some reason, the 8 heart event will not trigger no matter what. I have the strange bun recipe, so I know the 7.3 heart event has been triggered. Any advice on this would be great!
