This is a very painful manga but its also very healing i cried so many times. But the story always made me feel better. But yeah you have to be willing to hurt maybe a lot. All worth it though. It will change how you view romance stories. And maybe change how you view yourself.

I’ve been meaning to reread the manga the anime is good but the manga has so much more and an ending 😍🙌🏻

Reading your review, I literally saw myself in it. When I had a few episodes left to watch, I really hoped that it wouldn't be spoiled, or with some kind of understatement. I also wanted Hachiman to confess his love to the one he confessed to at the end, because it seems more logical to me, they are perfect for each other. I thought that if everything ends like this, then this will be one of my favorite animes, and everything happened even better than I expected. I really liked Hachiman's confession, and the cute moments where they walked and took pictures made me bury my face in the pillow like a little girl. I've already watched Oregairu for the second time, now I'm reading the novel, after reading it I will watch it for the third time. Some people complain that there is not enough romance in it, that it is only at the end and the series is stretched, but I honestly don't understand this, because I like not only the romance, but the interaction of the characters, their personalities and atmosphere.Of the romantic anime that made a similar impression on me, Kaguya-sama and Bunny girl sempai

Yeah i know how what you mean I absolutely share your experience, i only recently finished Oregairu and i still have the post effects so I recommend two things Read the LN it’s absolutely amazing i’m on volume 5 and watch the dangers in my heart anime

The more I think about it I actually do have a problem with Hachiman’s confession. Shizuka’s lesson was not to avoid saying “I love you”

If those words aren’t enough to convey your emotions then add in more words and actions, not avoid the word love altogether.

Glad you liked the series. If you want to understand more, reading the light novel can help with that. There's some extra content the anime didn't adapt like the .5 volumes and a lot of 8man's monologues.

I think the pacing was just right. Yes there were ALOT of scenes cut out but if you pay 101% attention to the anime trying to understand what each and every character says and their underlying meaning then it automatically becomes just right for you.

to be fair, anyone who knows the history of the actual horse is gonna know how the whole thing goes before page 1. Still gonna be a fun ride though.

Monthly Girls Nozaki-kun would probably be the closest I can think of. Not too much "lol rich people" humor, but its very exaggerated but pretty consistently funny.

S.A Special A Class - A comedy romance anime/manga that you might love.

Kaichou wa Maid-sama - Same vibe with OHSHC & S.A.

Kaguya-sama, Love is War - Also have this vibe.

Lovely Complex has the wacky, exaggerated emotions and the anime came out around the same time. The comedy is very over the top too.

I second Special A and Maid-sama.

If you want something even more romance-heavy I would also suggest Kimi no Todoke.

If you want something with basically zero romance but otherwise similar I would suggest Ramen Fighter Miki.

Meika-San Can't Conceal Her Emotions is good and has exaggerated emotions and comedy but not quite the exaggerated anatomy. It is probably a bit closer to Maid-sama.

I think death would be too easy. Her whole story has been one of struggle, and death might be some kind of release. The hardest and most narratively satisfying path would be for her to have to learn to live with herself.

Assuming she sticks with vengeance and doesn't give up her vendetta to live her life, either she will die or everyone she cares about will die and she will be left alone with nothing and no one now that her vengeance is complete. 

Ringo will certainly die. Or Swordfather. You know why? Because they dont deserve to die.

Have you seen Arcane? A character died in the 2nd season that had no reason to and it was devastating. I think, for the same reason, one or both of these characters will die.

Dark endings for dark stories. I hope she doesn’t die because the writers made me care for Mizu SO DAMN MUCH.

Most likely since she wasn't as close to the gang as Keigo and Mizuiro she decided the whole Aizen thing was too much for her and moved to different town (possibly asked to erease her memories) but officialy nothing was stated not even in CFYOW or Klub Outside
