What Redditors are Saying

When it comes to selecting the best e-bike for someone who is 6'8", there are several factors to consider, including frame size, wheel size, and customization options. Here’s a detailed look at what tall riders have shared about their experiences and recommendations:

Frame Size and Fit

For very tall individuals, finding an off-the-shelf bike that fits comfortably can be challenging. Many standard e-bikes may not accommodate someone who is 6'8". In the discussions, it's noted that even a 61cm frame, which is one of the larger sizes available in many brands, might not be sufficient for someone over 6'5" [2:3]. Some users suggest looking into brands that offer XXL or even XXXL frames, such as Canyon, which gears some models towards taller riders [2:5], [2:11].

Specific Brands and Models

Several specific brands and models were recommended by tall riders. The Santa Cruz Hightower LT with its XXL frame was mentioned as a good fit for someone 6'7" [3:2]. Specialized's Creo in XXL and XL Turbo Vados were also suggested for riders up to 6'9" [5:6]. Additionally, DirtySixer bikes are specifically designed for tall people, offering sizes for riders up to 7'5", although they are not cheap [2:7].

Customization and DIY Options

For those unable to find a suitable ready-made option, customization or DIY could be the way forward. Some discussions mention the possibility of modifying an XL frame to better suit a taller rider, though this approach has its limits [3:4]. Another option is working with a bike builder to create a custom setup, potentially incorporating larger wheels like 32" or 36", although these are less common and more expensive [5:7].

Budget Considerations

Budget is another important factor when choosing an e-bike. While some specialized options like DirtySixer are costly, they are considered an investment in comfort and riding experience [2:7]. For those on a tighter budget, exploring used markets or considering less expensive brands that still offer larger frames, such as Frey HT1000, might be worthwhile [5:2].

In conclusion, while finding the perfect e-bike for someone who is 6'8" can be challenging, exploring brands that offer larger frame sizes, considering custom builds, and being open to modifications can help you find a bike that meets your needs. Always test ride if possible, and consult with bike shops for potential custom solutions.

I have to know how it ends before I go on

Posted by Useful_Jellyfish_906 · in r/howdowerelationship · 6 months ago

Ok I feel like I'm a weird person, a lot of the time in romance manga I need to know if the ending is going to be happy or sad. 1 so I can be emotionally ready for the story and 2 because when things get intense and I want to see the resolution I almost feel like I read too fast....

So I just got to chapter 34 and ooooooooo boy I don't know if I can keep going if it's going to be a sad ending.

Can someone tell me if this manga has a sad or happy ending >!and do they get back together!<

ETA: I don't mind spoilers if it's needed to explain.

This is a very painful manga but its also very healing i cried so many times. But the story always made me feel better. But yeah you have to be willing to hurt maybe a lot. All worth it though. It will change how you view romance stories. And maybe change how you view yourself.

I am. I'm some more chapters past the break up now and I get it. I get what the manga is and I'm here for it. It really was so raw that I had to put it down and ask people, but now I'm excited to see how it ends.

Exactly, at one point I was convinced they were simply not meant for each other, but I'm not the author, and so I didn't expect the amount of legwork they would put to get back together. Made me raise my hands and say "you got me, this is cinema". Enjoy!

Trust me on this, you need to find the manga. It goes on much longer than the anime.

It's worth finding and reading.

mimilolomiy · 2 months ago

I recently finished it but at which chapter shall I start from

2 upvotes on reddit
justheretolurkreally · 2 months ago

The anime deviated a bit towards the end so that it could wrap up the story when the manga wasn't wrapped up yet, and it has been a while, so I had to go look

The anime covers most of volume 1-7, or chapters 1-31 before it deviated.

So if you want to pick up where it "left off," that would be the place to do it. Volume 8 or chapter 32 (depending on how you find and read the manga)

But, I do recommend just starting from the beginning, it's a quick read, and they do skip some stuff in the anime and leave out some of the jokes. So IMHO it's worth just starting over with the manga if you want.

10 upvotes on reddit
BueEyedDemon · 2 months ago

Id suggest rereading from the start as the anime does change a bit of the story

2 upvotes on reddit
Imaginary-Scene8990 · 2 months ago

i'd start from the beginning since the anime changed a few things starting with the very first episode.

The last 2 episodes... just wow.

Posted by artcritacct01 · in r/OreGairuSNAFU · 6 months ago

I just finished this wonderful work of fiction (not counting 2 of the OVAs). I don't really have any deep thoughts or analysis to share, rather, I just want to express how utterly floored I am by the sheer quality of the ending. Maybe I am just on a high still from finishing but those last 2 episodes might've been the most satisfying last 2 episodes of any series I've ever seen, anime or otherwise.

Every single moment was perfectly orchestrated down to the minutiae. The author and adaptors are geniuses. I can't think of a single thing I would've changed. Obviously the romance finally came to fruition but outside of that things like side-character appearances and the way vsrious loose ends were tied up just made me so happy.

In ep. 11, I felt like all the pieces of this puzzle of emotions finally came together. And the final scene... you really couldn't have asked for a more characteristic confession from those two, that was absolutely done in the best way possible. Ep. 12 had me smiling from ear to ear and cheering throughout. I started clapping like an idiot at 2 a.m. in my room when it was all over.

In a way I feel like the author made me work for this, which made it that much better. I made a post last week about how I was struggling a bit when I was midway through S2, and honestly I had no idea what I was in for. I remember that night watching ep. 8 and that did a complete 180 on my perspective. In the following episodes I became way more invested and things started to make more sense.

A rewatch at some point is definitely in order for me because I know there are still some things I didn't catch or interpret properly especially from earlier plots of the story. I'm tempted to do so immediately but I think it will be better if I give myself some time.

I'm definitely going to miss the unique atmosphere and characters of Oregairu. The post-anime depression started setting in before I even finished this one, so any recommendations to fill the void would be greatly appreciated. I think I need something a little less depressing though, S3 had some really tough moments (I really do feel for Yui, I was definitely rooting for her at times).

Thanks for reading!

Reading your review, I literally saw myself in it. When I had a few episodes left to watch, I really hoped that it wouldn't be spoiled, or with some kind of understatement. I also wanted Hachiman to confess his love to the one he confessed to at the end, because it seems more logical to me, they are perfect for each other. I thought that if everything ends like this, then this will be one of my favorite animes, and everything happened even better than I expected. I really liked Hachiman's confession, and the cute moments where they walked and took pictures made me bury my face in the pillow like a little girl. I've already watched Oregairu for the second time, now I'm reading the novel, after reading it I will watch it for the third time. Some people complain that there is not enough romance in it, that it is only at the end and the series is stretched, but I honestly don't understand this, because I like not only the romance, but the interaction of the characters, their personalities and atmosphere.Of the romantic anime that made a similar impression on me, Kaguya-sama and Bunny girl sempai

3 upvotes on reddit
artcritacct01 · OP · 6 months ago

it really is such a magical ending. Thanks for sharing your experience. I remember Bunny Girl Senpai having a similar effect on me but that was some years ago. I need to rewatch it and watch the movies. Kaguya-sama is also great but it's been a while since I've been caught up with it too.

The more I think about it I actually do have a problem with Hachiman’s confession. Shizuka’s lesson was not to avoid saying “I love you”

If those words aren’t enough to convey your emotions then add in more words and actions, not avoid the word love altogether.

Glad you liked the series. If you want to understand more, reading the light novel can help with that. There's some extra content the anime didn't adapt like the .5 volumes and a lot of 8man's monologues.

Finished watching Oregairu. Really enjoyed the series and the calm atmospheres.

Posted by Suitable_Tutor6006 · in r/OreGairuSNAFU · 4 months ago

However, the pacing felt way fast and maybe it’s because of rushed adaptation or whatever. I plan to read the Light Novel series soon (including the Shin Novel).

As for my favourite girl, it’s difficult to choose since everyone has their unique charms.

Loved the comedy, Hachiman’s rap, Gaha-mama, Saika’s femboy charm, Iroha rush-rejecting Hachiman.

And ofc, Hachiman’s redemption was top-tier. From a loner, rejected person to a supporting person with a gracious smile (and also a chad, he was from beginning anyway).

Final rating: 9.3/10

Zoku is an ending, but araragi talks a length at the beginning of kizu about stories and beginnings and endings. The end of a story isn't the only end to a story, it's just a stopping point where the author decides to stop following, or characters decide to stop telling it. The beauty of zoku as the ending, is that the end of one story is the beginning of the next.

The thing about the animes/mangas I recommended to you, all have some things in common. Like a highly educated school for rich kids, with one of the mc's being rich and the other poor who has to work hard for things. It's also comedy with over exageration. So I'm sure you'll definitely like them.

If you want something even more romance-heavy I would also suggest Kimi no Todoke.

If you want something with basically zero romance but otherwise similar I would suggest Ramen Fighter Miki.

Meika-San Can't Conceal Her Emotions is good and has exaggerated emotions and comedy but not quite the exaggerated anatomy. It is probably a bit closer to Maid-sama.

I think death would be too easy. Her whole story has been one of struggle, and death might be some kind of release. The hardest and most narratively satisfying path would be for her to have to learn to live with herself.

Most likely since she wasn't as close to the gang as Keigo and Mizuiro she decided the whole Aizen thing was too much for her and moved to different town (possibly asked to erease her memories) but officialy nothing was stated not even in CFYOW or Klub Outside

221 upvotes on reddit
Evil-Tree · 5 months ago

I could honestly see that. She was terrified and panicking in the Fake Karakura arc after Aizen powered up; that's bound to have left some trauma if she remembers it.

I actually kinda liked that moment, it gave her very shallow character some depth and showed the genuine inhuman terror that Aizen would be to a regular person. Her leaving Karakura in the face of it makes sense; even if it was explained to her, that wouldn't make it any less traumatic (and could actually make it worse).
