What Redditors are Saying

When considering the best e-bike for someone who is 6'8" and prefers a specialized fit, it's important to focus on several key factors: frame size, adjustability, and specific models that cater to taller riders. Here’s a detailed breakdown based on discussions from various Reddit threads:

Frame Size Considerations

For individuals who are 6'8", finding an e-bike with a suitable frame size can be challenging. Most standard bike shops do not carry frames larger than 61 cm [2:1]. However, some users have found success with bikes that offer XXL or even XXXL sizes. For example, Canyon bikes in XL and XXL sizes are mentioned as potential options for very tall riders [2:5], though their stack height might not suit everyone [2:4].

Specific E-Bike Models and Brands

Several specific brands and models were recommended for tall riders. The Frey HT1000 with 29” wheels and an XL frame was suggested by a user who is 6'8" [5:2]. Another brand mentioned is Dirtysixer, which specializes in making bikes for tall people, with sizes accommodating up to 7'5" [2:7]. However, these bikes are not cheap, and availability may be limited.

Adjustability and Customization

For those unable to find a perfect off-the-shelf solution, customization might be necessary. Some users suggest that while you can modify an XL bike to fit better by adjusting the seat post height and using a longer stem, it may not provide the same level of comfort and performance as a purpose-built frame [3:4]. Therefore, if budget allows, investing in a custom-built bike could be a worthwhile consideration [5:7].

Other Considerations

While exploring options, it's also worth considering the type of riding you plan to do. For instance, if you're looking for a commuter or fitness-oriented bike, ensure that the model you choose supports your intended use. Additionally, consulting with local bike shops about bringing in larger frames for test rides can help ensure a proper fit before purchase [2:2].

In summary, while finding a specialized e-bike for someone who is 6'8" can be challenging, there are options available. Exploring brands like Frey, Dirtysixer, and Canyon, along with considering custom builds, can lead to a satisfactory solution.

Do You Think Tony Stark Will EVER Return To The MCU?

ORIGINAL POST

[Edit:

PLEASE NOTE I DO NOT MEAN ENDGAME TONY.]

I mean another version. Possibly still played by RDJ, But also possibly not. For example, I’d REALLY like to see Tony from another universe. Maybe interacting with our Avengers temporarily, or maybe as Superior Iron Man. I’D LOVE to see SIM, especially if played by RDJ. There’s a lot of ways they could ‘bring back’ Iron man without resurrecting the Tony WE know. I’d also really like to see a version of Tony interacting with our Peter. Maybe one that has a Peter in his universe too, I dunno. I feel like the most likely scenario IS Superior Iron Man if anything(Please Marvel, Evil Tony PLEASE)or a hologram/hallucination of some sorts. Just cause our Tony is gone doesn’t mean they have to erase Tony from the ENTIRE MCU, and I hope sometime he gets a comeback!!

would be interesting to see him back.... but then again it kinda ruins the fact that he died and how he died.

they would need to really have a good reason for him to come back.... and how he comes back.

is it him?

or him from another timeline?

does he know everyone as the original tony stark?

or is he different?

so many questions... lol

Kakep0p · OP · 1 year ago

Him from another timeline. Definitely. I, personally, do not wanna see the og Tony come back unless in the form of a hologram and I’m sure almost no one else does, either. And I know that’s luckily off the table for the MCU, or so they say. Who knows. Maybe they’ll get desperate for money.

2 upvotes on reddit
Deeezzznutzzzzz · 1 year ago

ya i'm with you.

if it was from another timeline, it COULD be interesting IF his persona was different.

but IMO I'd rather them move on.

I just think they have SO MUCH MORE to go.... why bring him back and keep rehashing shit?

The whole mutants thing I think will be mega big.

DEPENDING on how they release that angle.

I was thinking when they did Eternals.... that would be the 'trigger' for mutants to 'happen'.... but it doesn't seem like it at all.

If Tony Stark Should Return...

Posted by GenericSourya54 · in r/nandovmovies · 5 years ago

Robert Downey Jr returning as Tony Stark is inevitable. It is only a matter of time. The might be somewhere in the next 10 to 15 years. But how would one do that. The pressure is on. You have to bring him back legitimately without undercutting his death. I have a solution to that.

First, what movie should he appear in. The obvious answer would be Secret Wars, but I would prefer The Young Avengers . Why you might ask. Well I'm getting to it.

It all lies in a man named Kang. Kang the Conquer is a time traveling dictator who is most commonly a future version of Iron Lad. However we don't have Iron Lad yet. And if Marvel doesn't add him to this universe I have another alternative. Tony Stark.

Hear me out.

Tony Stark maybe dead in our universe but time travel works differently in the MCU. To catch you up to speed, every change made in the past results in 2 timelines. One where the change happened and another where it didn't happen (our timeline). Last time we checked a couple timelines are still left open. Like the one where Loki got a hold of the Tesseract. This Tony Stark would be from that timeline.

Lets say that Tony survives in this timeline. What does he do after? So if we go back to Age of Ultron, what did Tony do. He made Ultron. Why? Because of the alien invasion. What just happened in Infinity War and Endgame? Half of all life was killed off and an alien invasion. So this Tony is more paranoid than ever. Not only does he have to protect the planet but he also has to protect his daughter, Morgan. This Tony goes full control freak. To keep the world safe he needs to control it. We saw a bit of this in Age of Ultron but this is much worse And then Tony figures, why not extend that control to different timeline. Enter the Young Avengers.

To these guys Iron-Man is their hero. Not only is he a bad ass he also saved the universe.. Think about who's on this team. Kate bishop, Shuri, Cassy Lang, maybe Wiccan and Speed, and, most importantly, Peter Parker. Peter had a special relationship with Tony. Imagine how much that would affect him. Maybe we could throw in a future version of Morgan Stark into the mix. Imagine how hard it would be to fight their hero. They may be the Young Avengers but he's Iron Man. He's an OG Avenger.

In the end, defeating Kang would symbolize the Young Avengers stepping out of the shadow of the original Avengers. It would be saying, "Hey, these guys are the real deal."

Well that’s fair but intend this to be a one time return. As well as the fact that it’s not even our Tony. The main timeline Tony is still dead and will be for the rest of MCU.

1 upvotes on reddit
MicrowaveBurrito2568 · 5 years ago

It doesn’t matter. Returning the character,no matter from which timeline, cheapens his/her death since every time anyone dies in the future, people can just expect an alternate reality version to pop up. Just have a new villain.

DrHypester · 5 years ago

I also would enjoy seeing RDJ's Tony as Kang, and thus, as a villain to illustrate a closure to the Infinity Sage. I think that's the only way it could happen with any kind of credibility. I don't think it's "inevitable" by any means, simply because this is one of the only ways to bring him back with any credibility.

For now, maybe. But this is Hollywood you’re talking about. Doolittle did poorly in box office, I’m sure someday he will return, you just don’t know yet. What if the whole leaving speech was just a smoke screen for something even bigger? It’s not like Marvel had no way to bring him back.

If he comes back, the future deaths in the MCU will have no weight. You can't get emotional about a character's death if you know that, if he is enough popular, he will come back somehow.

If he doesn't come back, there will be more weight to deaths in the MCU.

Just because Doolittle failed doesn’t mean he’ll be back. Anyone who thinks he’s returning is in denial. I’d love for him to return but it’s not happening, there’s going to be more characters to bring in and focus on anyways so he’s not needed anymore. Same with Chris as Cap, let go of your denial.

Personally, I hope not. I know it’s a comic book thing to come back from the dead or go on for years, but in real life where actors age I’m happy to see characters have arcs with a definitive end. They arguably made Tony Stark the main character of the first saga, and gave him the perfect sendoff. In my opinion.

When she's much older, I think Morgan will probably pick up after her mother as Rescue since she briefly wore her helmet in Endgame. I feel like that scene was foreshadowing that. Also, as a callback to her father's partnership with another armored character, she could be Ironheart's partner like War Machine was to Iron Man.

How Tony Stark/ Iron Man Could Return In the MCU

Posted by vilianP · in r/marvelstudios · 5 years ago

Edit: Before you downvote, please understand that those are just dreams, I know he will most likely not come back.

Most of us know that Robert Downey Jr. was going to be out of the MCU for an indefinite long.

However, in a recent interview he stated that he might return as the beloved Iron man under two conditions (Money arrangements, of course, and working together with Tom Holland).

WARNING! If you have not watched Avengers: Endgame, DO NOT READ! MAJOR SPOILERS FOR ENDGAME!

So... Imagine Kevin Feige agreed to RDJ’s conditions. How would Tony come back? I mean, we all saw what happened to him after Endgame. What are the odds of him actually coming back?

I have some assumptions that might be extremely accurate if you think about them more rationally.

  1. Tony Stark created a clone of his before the events of Endgame with his consciousness in it.

Just think about it. He has always tried to foresee what would happen and would try to prevent terrible events from happening. He had seen the terrible power of Thanos and the six infinity stones and that crushed him. So he had 5 years to come up with a plan to have two brains like his - and so he created Tony Mark two (pun intended). This theory, however, is not so plausible since he would have appeared after the events in the last Avengers movie.

  1. He rebirths himself with the snap.

What? That sounds crazy to you? Well, the stones could do virtually anything, right? Why won’t he just wish for himself to stay alive besides destroying Thanos and his army. And, for the record, the problem from the latter theory still exists, but his concentration was on Thanos and not on his rebirth. So he could exist somewhere out there but still wander around trying to find his people.

  1. Iron man is the new J.A.R.V.I.S.

Why would it be difficult for him to do it? He created J.A.R.V.I.S., Ultron, Vision, why wouldn’t he be able to put his own consciousness into a machine and live basically forever? There is even a slight hint in the end of Endgame - when the hologram looks right at Morgan. What are the odds of him actually getting lucky and looking straight at his daughter’s eyes while talking to her? Not that high, am I right? He might not show up immediately after those terrible events, but with time, maybe on Morgan’s way to recreating her father’s journey he can appear in her records just like Tony’s own father’s old works appeared in Iron Man 2. That, in my view, is the most plausible idea.

To sum up, face the facts, Tony is gone for now. There are no confirmations that he will definitely return, but it is possible sometime in the future. However, Feige probably will not spend that much on RDJ anymore since his arc was perfectly closed and Marvel now want to focus on other, newer projects.

What are the chances Tony Stark will continue to be in movies past Avengers 4?

Posted by BrandonS101 · in r/marvelstudios · 7 years ago

Iron Man is probably my favorite "super hero" in the MCU. I was expecting him to die in infinity war but thankfully that didn't happen. I know he only is signed on for 1 more movie as of right now but what are the chances they resign him for another avengers movie or a Iron Man 4? I expect him or Cap to die in the next movie or maybe both but it would be nice to see RDJ reprise his role as he does such a good job. Yeah he cost a lot of money, but honestly I think it's worth it. They have definitely made more money off him than they spent.

He would retire because he wouldn't want to be the absent father his own dad was to him. He'd retire if he had a kid. I would guess Tony will try to sacrifice himself but Steve will save him and do it himself so Tony can have the life Steve can never have. It is this guilt, this experience that will ultimately make Tony retire for good.

What are the chances of Tony Stark and other currently dead characters returning in the upcoming Avengers movie Secret Wars?

Posted by AdRepresentative2822 · in r/Marvel · 2 years ago

If the movie’s ending will follow the ending of the 2015 comic book Secret Wars, then the entire multiverse in Marvel will be recreated/rebooted. This could mean that characters who had died in the past, or during the event of Secret Wars, can come back! (Examples like Tony Stark, Natasha, Captain America..etc.)

For those who don’t know the ending of the 2015 comic secret wars, it basically has Reed Richards and his family create new universes/realities, ultimately creating an ENTIRE new multiverse in Marvel.

So, we can see variations of dead characters come back in the MCU, whether it be a variant, past-self, or the same character brought back from the afterlife…etc. There might be a good chance we’ll be able to see these characters again in the MCU!

Especially for the characters who do die during Secret Wars, since, literally every single marvel character dies -except for a very few amount- throughout the whole comic.

Any thoughts on this? I am really hoping Marvel might implement this ending into the movie, since not only would it be very open-ended for new possibilities and characters to be introduced-AND a very good start for the next phase to come in the MCU, but it also can bring back some possible OG characters that we have missed for a while now.

I think there was a lost opportunity to have Tony and Rocket interact more. I know they would have had great chemistry and even bonded. They have very similar personalities, of course this means they might have butt heads a little more too, but I still would have loved to see it. The problem is that in the MCU, actors get older and new people will inevitably have to play the characters we know and love. So no, I don’t think we will see the likes of RDJ coming back for anything more than a brief cameo…… but I could be wrong…! I do think we’ll see Iron Man again but we won’t have RDJ. The multi-verse concept has opened windows to reintroduce established characters.

I don't want mainline MCU Tony to come back in the movies. He had a fantastic ending that should stay definitive and final.

If they bring him back, it better be for a damn good story - preferably just...a different version of Tony, too. There's no replacing RDJ, and alt-Tony shouldn't be a mainstay of "616".

In my opinion, I think the best way they could bring Tony back would be as an antagonist with Chris Evans reprising as Captain America simultaneously.

Have the Secret Wars movie end up being The Beyonder revealing there are only 2 universes left across the multiverse after Peter & Strange's newest film entries' breaking of the barriers so shortly after the Thanos Snap & Scarlet Witch's shattering of reality.

MCU is then pitted against the final other universe featuring Tony & Steve returning leading their own group of The Avengers with characters we've yet to see or parallels to the MCU. Ideally...

Captain America, Iron Man, Black Widow, Quicksilver, Ultron, Brother Voodoo as Sorceror Supreme, M'Baku as Black Panther, Wolverine & Deadpool.

That way you can have both interesting match-ups and at the end of the movie offer an easy "out" for bringing over specific characters from the other universes like Deadpool & Ultron for the MCU to use in the future.

You can also have Tony & Steve showing sympathy for the MCU's heroes while simultaneously saying they are not their friends and refuse to let their own perish and will fight to protect them. Putting the MCU heroes in a further difficult position of what they should do.

I think that's the best way you can bring back now retired/deceased characters or new ones and create a new emotional resonance for the viewing audience and conflict for the current MCU to deal with momentarily.

If he returns in any kind of way, it’s a big finale saga ending event. But let’s save it for the end of the next sage maybe?

Just in Secret Wars, so he can share a scene with Hugh Jackman and Tobey Maguire.

Y'think they'll reference that cut scene where Nick Fury references Hulk ("as if gamma accidents...") Spider-Man ("radioactive bug-bites,") and the X-Men "and assorted mutants...")?

Doubt it, but hell, man, they might throw in a cheeky nod for all we know. Would be weird to think just how Tobey-Spidey would slot into the MCU, since he was still active around the time of Iron Man (4 was only cancelled in what, 2010?), and there was talks of Andrew joining the MCU, wasn't there? Funny how all three Spider-Men could've been potential MCU candidates, at different times within it.

Like in the Invincible Iron Man 2018 run where Iron Heart has a Tony Stark A.I. I think that would be cool to see in the MCU.

"Everyone is Expendable": Anthony Mackie dishes on "Cliffhanger" ending in 'Avengers: Doomsday'

While speaking to Collider’s Michael Zimmerman promoting his latest movie, Anthony Mackie opened up about the upcoming Avengers: Doomsday — and it sounds like fans should brace themselves for major shocks.

Asked about his reaction to reading the script, Mackie was surprisingly open about things, including the fact that we might be getting another ending in the style of Infinity War. “You know what? I was really excited, man" he said. “It’s one of those stories that really pushes the boundaries, and it — the cliffhanger at the end, you know, the last moments of the film — it really builds and sets us up for a way for the continuation of the Marvel saga, which is really exciting.”

In Avengers: Doomsday, Mackie’s Sam Wilson/Captain America will return to lead a brand-new line-up of Avengers in the post-Endgame era, a task he was assigned by President Thaddeus Ross (Harrison Ford) in Brave New World. Directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, the film is set to bring back major players from across the MCU while introducing Doctor Doom, portrayed by Robert Downey Jr. in a surprise turn. Mackie also teased what sets this entry apart from other Avengers outings :

*"You see these characters, and you see how they’re introduced and how they play in the universe moving forward, and no one is safe. Everyone is expendable."*

That ominous warning — "everyone is expendable" — is enough to spark speculation that this could be Marvel's biggest swing and gamble yet. Unlike Infinity War, if character deaths end up being permanent, then it would shake the foundations of the MCU for the better, and with the integration of Fox-era X-Men characters, alongside the debuting Fantastic Four and Thunderbolts* ensembles, Mackie’s words only fuel the fire about who'll be walking into the movie, but won't be walking out — so make your peace, now.

And it’s not just fans who are getting hyped. *“It’s really exciting”**Mackie added, as he prepares to head back to the UK to resume production on what will undoubtedly be the biggest film of next year.

The life raft escapees will still remember everything and instigate the unraveling. I can’t wait to see who that group will be for the movie adaptation. I’m hoping it’s a good mix of mcu and “legacy” characters

I think it will be Spiderman we start off with. He wakes up and thinks it's a regular day. But then he is greeted by his kid and MJ (Zendaya). It freaks him out. He goes outside only to see large posters of "Tony" but it's Dr. Doom.

I'd argue that this would be the most interesting presentation for Secret Wars, and something that would make it stand out from Endgame despite the fact that it's clear that Doomsday is going to be a spiritual successor of Infinity War by the nature of the story being told.

It's truly the most likely result. They are the Avengers after all. They need something to avenge.

The Final Incursion destroying the Multiverse is the cliffhanger for Doomsday, followed by a WandaVision-type "Wait, that's not where we last left those characters!" beginning to Secret Wars. Calling it now.

I said something like this was going to happen a year ago, with a character like wolverine seeking Wanda out because he sense something is off about his new surroundings to be the cliffhanger ending. It would make sense to me, a sort of house of m homage.

The opening to Secret Wars will be very interesting. The Hickman story used a very select few main characters: Doom, the FF, Black Panther, Namor and Thanos. There was no Thor, no Cap, no Avengers. It was similar to how Endgame was in a way. The Russo's implied the movie will be a mix of the 80's and modern stories, so that might not mean an overload of cameos but also not all hands on deck either. It's going to be interesting to see who makes the cut.

I'm guesing the survivors will be Reed, Spider-Man, Cyclops, Sam, Carol, Shuri.

Shuri isn’t making it out either. I expect a recast of TChalla from another universe

Yes, but the thing is that it's likely to be framed as an ending, with everything preceding it being a loose adaptation of the "Time Runs Out" story arc. And then what follows is a mix of the two Secret Wars stories.

Love Mackie’s work as an actor and as Falcon then Cap, but I still can’t buy into him as the leader of this team. Not sure if it’s the stage presence or the lack of powers etc. He’s great but just because he’s the new Cap shouldn’t make him the de facto leader

I think it'd be neat if the Battleworld status quo was how we opened things up as a framing device, and we steadily learn about the destruction of the multiverse, but I think that it's more likely that a more conventional cliffhanger is what we're gonna get.

Did Tony Stark really die in Avengers Endgame

How did Tony Stark die in Avengers Endgame

What happens to Iron Man after Endgame

AI Answer

🤖

Will Tony Stark return in future Marvel movies

Key Considerations:

  1. Character Arc: Tony Stark, portrayed by Robert Downey Jr., had a significant character arc culminating in "Avengers: Endgame." His sacrifice was a pivotal moment for the MCU, making a return complex.

  2. Multiverse Concept: The introduction of the multiverse in the MCU opens possibilities for alternate versions of characters, including Tony Stark. This could allow for cameos or different interpretations of the character.

  3. Actor's Statements: Robert Downey Jr. has expressed mixed feelings about returning to the role. While he has left the door open for future appearances, he has also indicated a desire to move on.

  4. Marvel's Direction: Marvel Studios is continuously evolving its storytelling. Future films may explore new characters and narratives, potentially reducing the focus on legacy characters like Tony Stark.

Takeaway: While there is no official confirmation of Tony Stark's return, the multiverse concept and the ongoing evolution of the MCU leave room for possibilities. Keep an eye on future Marvel announcements for any updates!
