TL;DR
Buick Envision
The Buick Envision is frequently mentioned as a strong contender for an affordable yet feature-rich vehicle. It offers premium features such as heated steering wheels, 360 cameras, and park assist at a competitive price point [1:2]. Users have noted its comfortable ride and attractive styling, making it a popular choice among those who test drive multiple brands
[2:4]. The Envision Avenir trim is particularly praised for its luxury feel and crash safety ratings
[5:10].
Buick Encore
The Buick Encore is another model that stands out for its affordability and reliability. One user shared their positive experience with a 2017 Buick Encore Essence, highlighting its lack of issues even after several thousand miles [2:2]. The Encore is recommended for those looking for a stylish and dependable compact SUV.
Value and Reliability
Buicks are often described as offering good value for money, providing more premium features at a lower cost compared to competitors [1:1]. They are also noted for their reliability, with high rankings in vehicle dependability studies
[2:1]. While some users find them less exciting than other brands like Toyota, they acknowledge Buick's solid build quality and comfort
[1:3],
[1:8].
Styling and Market Perception
Recent Buick models have been recognized for their improved styling, shedding the brand's "old man" reputation [4]. The Buick Envista, for example, has been noted for its sharp design, although some users wish for a more powerful engine and all-wheel drive options
[4:8]. Despite these improvements, Buick still struggles with market identity and competition from more sought-after brands
[4:5].
Affordability and Deals
Buick vehicles can sometimes be found below MSRP, which is rare in the current car market [5:9]. This makes them an attractive option for budget-conscious buyers seeking a reliable and well-equipped vehicle. The combination of discounts and the inherent value proposition of Buick cars makes them worth considering for those prioritizing affordability and features over performance.

I work at a car dealership that sells three import brands (euro/japan/korea) and every kind of used car under the sun… I have driven everything on the road shy of supercars.
When my wife’s basic-ass Toyota got destroyed in a flood, I had to find her a vehicle quickly and decided to buy her the “best deal” on the lot
We got her a 2022 Buick Envision and she absolutely loves it. It is featured to the moon- (heated steering wheel & seats, 360 camera, blind spot, heated mirrors, park assist, great leather, proximity keys, power kick liftgate, wireless carplay, remote start, heads up display, adaptive cruise, etc). It’s very comfortable, it’s sufficiently peppy for her needs and it looks nice if not a little boring. The build quality is very good and the materials feel more premium than certainly Toyota and Honda. Hers is FWD and I wish it was AWD but she doesn’t drive in inclement weather anyway, so who cares- it gets better MPG than the AWD would.
They don’t sell a ton of these in the US, but they sell about a billion of them in China and the drivetrain is proven.
I will say the back up camera in this Buick is the best backup camera I have ever seen in any vehicle at any price period
Wow had no clue Buicks sold well in China.
They’re extremely boring, but objectively good cars. Good features, solid reliability, reasonably comfortable, cheap. Just boring lol
So basically an American version of Toyota?
Ehhhhhh
I would say Toyota’s products are definitely more reliable, better built, and actually more exciting. Buick’s are generally decently reliable, Toyota is top-tier reliable.
What? No.
They're the same cars as Chevrolets and GMCs with a different badge, it's been this way for 30+ years.
With few exceptions, you can buy a Chevrolet version of any Buick for less money.
The pecking order is Cadillac, Buick, GMC, Chevrolet. Almost all of them sell the same cars with a few gaps here and there (no Cadillac version of a Trax or Blazer).
Buick is absolutely nothing special and the only reason I can imagine they still exist is because they USED to be a presigious brand in China. I'm pretty sure that's all done now however.
Realistically, when GM culled Saturn, Hummer, Saab, Oldsmobile and Pontiac, they should have killed off Buick too.
If you want a cheap Buick, buy a Chevy. If you want a fancy Buick, but a Cadillac. If you want a Buick, then you can be one of the eight people in your town who go buy one. Fine if you can get a deal on one, but nothing interesting (now that that TourX is dead).
I would say so but a little more luxurious and moderately less reliable
My mom had a Buick Enclave for 12 years without a single issue. They’re not exciting vehicles but seem to be very reliable and quite comfortable.
They are mediocre cars at a good price. Value sells. Go test drive it and see for yourself! I personally thought the envista seats were hilariously uncomfortable. I think it was the headrest that sucked
And the Envista has one of the very smallest mass-production engines available 😁
They are actually the top brand for DUIs lol
It is value. Buick offers more premium features and comforts for a more affordable price than the competition. Plus they have some sharp looking cars recently
Looking at buying a new car, and a Buick model caught my eye. I've never driven one or heard much about them. Curious the the general consensus of those cars are?
I bought myself a 2017 Buick Encore Essence last year; ever since I got it, I have had zero regrets (paid in cash), and it has been treating me very well. I got it used at 48,000 miles and have now put around 6,000 miles into it.
If you are getting a Buick, get an Encore. They are the best styles that they have.
Can’t purchase a Buick, they don’t build a full size , rear wheel drive , sedan with a V6 or V8 engine. I dislike SUV’s
Point me to a list of all of the brands that offer full size, RWD sedans with V6s or V8s. That are in production today.
I never even thought of them while shopping mid size SUVs but my husband brought it up after I tested mazda, kia, Honda, Toyota, VW and a few other makes.. The Envision was last and the best ride. I'm buying one tomorrow.
My dream car is a green 1959 Buick Electra 225 4 door hard top lol
Extremely, extremely reliable. Very good looking recent models.
There are many ways to play these numbers. Some brands say change brake fluid over 3 years in the main guide... others don't. "Lifetime" trans fluid...
Most cars are similar. Do the brake fluid liste or not. Find out spark plug change interval as that varies. Don't rely too much on numbers. I owned a Buick, and Lexus, and Cadillac, and Lincoln. Cadillac XTS has been by far the cheapest over 9 years. No timing belt, spark plugs oncem coolant twice, etc. Even with AWD it has been a breeze. Even so, I needed new struts and to get OE (and they are magnetic ride control) they were a fortune.
Look for reliability with maintenance. Except EVs, all cars are similar: oil, brake fluid changes, trans fluid, spark plugs, coolant, air/cabin filters. Add extra for AWD and nmaybe cvts needing more fluid changes. Consider hybrid battery replacement risk if you keep the car ages. If a car still uses a timing belt (Buick Envista supposedly at 150k) factor that in...
I liked my Buick, but doubt it is inherently cheaper in the long run.
EDIT: I've read extremely mixed things about recent Buick SUV reliability... not enough to really have a sense, but if true, that matters too. Yes, Toyota paint if failing along with some of its V8s. Not slamming Buick, but watch out.
It’s odd to see such a gap between Buick and Chevy given 3/4 Buick offerings in the US are shared platforms with Chevy (Envista-Trax, Encore-Trailblazer, and Enclave-Traverse). I wonder if Chevy’s other offerings drag them down.
It’s a shame they stopped making sedans. Owned a 2006 and currently a 2013 LaCrosse. Night and day. Close to 100,000 miles, routine maintenance except for a vacuum hose and brake calipers(kept outside and NE winters), and an A/C compressor
If I can find one, next car will be LaCrosse Avenir trim. I feel current one is going to 300,000
Ahem, Buick China says 👋
They do, and they're gorgeous, look up the L7.
Chinese here, those new LaCrosse actually sell pretty well, I saw many of them in my hometown, which is deep Shanghai GM territory, I think the main reason is they only cost 25,000 usd for top of the line model.
I think the Velite is a good looking car
My 2013 LaCrosse made it to 208k before it was taken out by a tree branch falling on it and impaling my engine bay into the air intake side. Best first car I could have ever asked for
I couldn't tell you because according to the commercial, buick does not look like a Buick, and it is like a good thing. So everytime I look for a Buick, I never see one. "Is that a buick your driving". Of course not because it is a buick that does not look like a buick.
Indeed. I have been in an Impala. The XTS AWD helps torque steer, and the car is comfortable. Having owned a Lesabre before, the XTS came closest, and other Cadillacs (CTS etc.) seemed less reliable. I tried a 2016 Lacrosse and it was very smooth but felt even smaller, with bad visibility. (17 didn't do it for me either). The MRC is unfortunate but the car has been good. I've had ct5s as loaners and they don;t do it for me, even if they are a "real" Cadillac. At 28k for a 1 year old XTS with 25k miles on it, it was in retrospect a great value.
Unless you bought it used.
Press X to Doubt.
Edit: I'm totally sure a 2017 Lacrosse is worth more than it was new...
Damn some of y'all are dense, this doesn't take a genius to figure out that a nearly 10y/o Impala based sedan didn't age well when considering residual values...
Your local salesperson has a great day when you walk in the door, I'm sure.
Seeing the new Buicks, I really like their styling.
They’re trying to fight that old man reputation I get it, but I feel like that is really not deserved anymore and it’s a relic from the last 20 to 30 years previous.
Has anyone considered one or bought one?
F*ck Buick ... I want Pontiac back!
Buick Envista has very attractive styling. The power train however…
My plan is to get a Buick Envista in a few years as my winter shitbox, I don't really care about the powertrain on my winter shitbox, actually better that I don't as I want 0 mechanical sympathy when cranking it on in -30. I just need it to be reliable enough to turn on in -30.
> Need Reliable winter shitbox
> Im gonna buy a Buick
The whole of internet at your disposal and this is the best financial automotive conclusion you were able to make?
I agree 100%. The Envista does look pretty stylish, and I’m not even into crossovers. I saw one recently (I think it’s called Envista Aveneir) and it was in all white. No fake plastic fender or body paneling. It was so sharp. And it’s in the upper $20k or lower $30k range, so it’s not that expensive all things considered.
But yea. It needs a bigger engine, and AWD. Other than that, it’s pretty solid.
I think pontiac could do well if it was reborn as a Subaru Crosstrek/Forester competitor.
That's Buick's problem. It had market share in China and some other parts of Asia so when they went CUV-only it went from an upmarket brand with plush barges and not-quite-Cadillac appointments to a company selling economy platforms from Korea and China.
The brand has no identity. Its market share in China has collapsed. Its US customer base is old people who are dying off and they liked the luxury barges that Buick hasn't made in 15 years. I don't know who GM is trying to appeal to with the brand. It should have exited the US market ages ago or become the GM EV brand instead of Cadillac.
I love my 19’ AWD regal Sportback. Think it will be my last newer car purchase. I want to hold onto it as long as I can. All round just a damn good car.
All crossovers--the only SUV Buick's ever sold was the Rainier, a Trailblazer sibling.
The Buick Envista kinda looks like a mini Urus if you squint a bit.
I saw one in the parking lot and actually had to stop at the weird new Buick logo and walk around it
Bring back the TourX, give it whatever the performance trim was on the sedan.
They'd sell dozens!
#😤
Buicks are underrated if you’re not into speed or performance imo. Go for it!
I'm not a huge fan of Buick, but my wife's folks has a 2017 of one of these and its held up great. The interior is very comfortable too.
We hit up almost every good, top pick from consumer reports and had her drive it (if we could find it in the lot...) and her top 3 ended up being lexus, volvo and buick! No crv 2023 yet, also no rav4 which she can test drive. did not like benz and the attitude of the salesman. Did not try bmw x3 yet. She said she was really impressed with Envision Avenir! And the price is pretty attractive compared to the other luxury suvs, plus all 5 stars for crash ratings too...
All those are going to be significantly more expensive, and the Buick does have a much more luxurious feel than any Rav 4 (if you could even get one).
It's Buicks best model, apparently quality control on China is better than American models
American car manufacturers must be desperate. Dropping below MSRP is unheard of in this market
How did you manage to negotiate that deal? Lol I'm interested in a Buick now.
The actual American vehicles folks want (Maverick, Bronco, trucks, etc...) are going for msrp or well above msrp. Buick just isn't a brand folks are clamoring for.
That’s a story and a half lol. The Buicks a steal. Most people buying a German car for the badge anyway
You had 9 Buick dealerships close to you?
$5200 off of MSRP? Go for it! I'm not too big on GM, but the Buicks are a decent amount more reliable
People think Buicks are more reliable than Chevrolets because they're more likely to be driven by elderly people who don't abuse them, and can afford not to neglect maintenance. There were Impalas with that 3.8-liter pushrod V6 that is still pretty tough, in the same way that there were Buicks with the 3.6 DOHC V6 that had huge reliability problems upon release.
That's crazy- I would have thought it was made in MX alongside the Blazer. Buick's line in China has been in production for something on the order of 22 years, because Buick is probably one of the most important brands to GM in that market.
Hello r/buick!
Currently looking into buying an older Buick. Recently got into a small accident that was unfortunately my fault. As of such, the insurance for my little two door coupe is insane now. I must return to the life of old man sedans that I used to know so well.
Currently looking at two. My only requirements are cheap, reliable, and cheap to insure.
- Buick Park Avenue (both gens, I like the look of the early 90s ones a lot. Are these still okay to daily drive if I find a good one? Likewise, is the update one from 1998 all that much better?)
- Buick Regal: pretty standard. Would love to get the GS version for the extra power. Worth the cost?
That's pretty much it. Anyone have an pointers on these two cars/and or what generations to get?
Thanks!
Get a 2000-2004 Lesabre you'll thank me later
Those are uglier than both the regal and the park avenue. What are the other redeeming qualities?
Fairly quiet ride, and a little better on gas than the park avenue ultra
Didn't see this thread at the time you posted it...curious as to what you decided to buy!
Either car is great, but definitely opt for the supercharged variants. With a 5k budget you should be able to afford a real nice Ultra or GS. source: had a GS myself and loved it, more of a straight line car though, learned the hard way breaking loose around a tight corner and losing it to a tree stump...
mechanically speaking, I'd stick with something that you can find that was supercharged. (for some reason the LS4 lacrosse's don't come with the 4t-65e Heavy Duty version :|)
Too real. Love my Super, but we've put 3 transmissions in it. 2 and 3 were paid by warranty, but still, annoying as hell
Edit: I knew the previous owner and he drove the fuck out of it, so it's really more of user mistreatment, but yeah I'd love to have something a little more sturdy like the t80
Tbh i do think you can swap one in with little case mating issues. Think a guy on the zzp forums or a monte carlo one mentioned machining the inside lip a couple bits of an inch and got a tranny mount with longer studs or put a block to raise it up.
I've actually been looking to sell my 1995 Park Avenue, if you're interested. The only real issues are the car alarm going off sometimes, and it's got low oil pressure when it warms up, but only at idle. It isn't in the red, though. Still within operating range. It's got the common clear coat issues of 90s-era GM, but everything else is perfect. It just got a new intake manifold, new head gaskets, and new plugs and wires. I've been asking $1,750.
3rd gen Park Avenue's are one of my favourite cars there are. I've had two and they are great.
Would you recommending getting the ultra or is the base fine? Wondering about how much of a difference there is.
Both of mine were Ultra technically although the first one I had the supercharger didn't work and was bypassed essentially making it a regular.
Difference is around 40 horsepower and I can't remember the torque number offhand. I love the sound of the engine with the supercharger, but the non-supercharged version isn't a slouch either by any means.
Some Ultra's did also come with a handling package (not all though) if that's up your alley as well. The engine really is the main difference between the two though.
tl;dr. I have owned and like driving buicks (century, regal, lesabre). Looking to spend $10-12K on replacement commuter car.
I currently drive a 99 Buick Century with 160,000 miles. It's starting to show its age and may need replaced soon. I'd rather replace it when I choose instead of waiting until a disaster happens and I have to replace it immediately.
Mostly use the car for commuting (25mins / 10 miles). I'm 6'4" and used to driving full-size sedans. The last 3 cars I've owned/driven have been Buicks (century, regal, lesabre). All have lasted into the upper 100's before I had to replace them so I feel like they are great deals. I can get a 8-10 year old cars with 100K miles that will last me another 5-8 years.
I also know there are a LOT of alternatives out there but I'm honestly have no clue which ones would be comparable and/or best buys. I'm looking to spend around $10-12K, I've found plenty of 2010ish buicks with 80Kish miles on them so that's where I'm starting from. Probably looking to stick to a 4 door sedan - I don't often use it to carry around other people/cargo but occasionally require it. As far as other features, overall total cost of ownership is probably most important. I'm not a huge car guy so most of the features I could take or leave. I live in northern Indiana so traction control, FWD, ABS are somewhat important. Also although I might someday learn to drive manual transmission, I currently do not.
Well you never really said what you actually like about buicks. How am I going to change your mind about them?
I like that they have plenty of room both in the cabin and trunk, seats are very comfortable, seem pretty easy to maintain. They have enough acceleration that I can get up to 75 mph to merge without any problems. I know ymmv but the buicks I've owned have lasted to 180,000 miles or more. Repairs seem to be on the cheaper side of things. FWD gives better control in winter.
I just purchased a 15 Regal Turbo AWD, because it is really a nice luxury ride and has great reliability, from an answer from a dealer on another thread I posted here.
I think you should go to a few reputable dealers and do some test drives. Be ready to fall in love. I did.
Check out the Lacross, and I think the Enclave SUV. I love the AWD option on the one I bought, and it does have the headroom for 6’4” easily. The AWD feels like it’s glued to the road, and the Turbo pushes you back in the seat.
I opted to get the 60 month bumper to bumper on a Certified Pre Owned one, just for peace of mind, as they are rolling computers.
I remember letting a 6’8” guy sit in my Riviera. He said it had more leg room than his Ford Expedition.
Here's a list of cars I'm considering: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1jt4homgrEIDpuL3uDwAv8F4CJYRoshg18EWcsKK6eB0/edit?gid=0#gid=0
Feel free to leave comments there!
I'm trying to find a car that feels as good as my first car: a 3.8L V6 2000 Buick Regal (all options). I do NOT like sporty feeling cars and it seems like Buick went that direction with the Regal. I'm upset, they made them sexy, but they don't ride like they used to...
I'm currently driving a 2005 Buick Lacrosse that is okay, but I could use an upgrade. I've been out of the market for a while, and could use some advice on what to avoid/what's actually a good deal.
Anyway, I'm on a budget of $9k, though I'd prefer to be near $6k. I want it to feel like it's floating but not look terrible (please don't tell me Town Car). Backup Cam, Leather, Heated Seats are all a must. AWD would be nice, but not if the MPG is horrid (min average of 20 mpg please). Sedans or SUVs would be good - with a bonus if they have a towing package as I have a boat. Auto or manual transmission doesn't matter. Brand doesn't matter as long as I get that sweet, sweet feel I'm after.
Nothing is more expensive than a cheap luxury car.
Your only viable option is a perfectly maintained late 90s or early 2000s fully loaded Camry. I think.
As far as the Lincolns go, mks should be ok, depends on year and drivetrain option. Don’t get a mkx. I would say mkz would be best as far as Lincoln’s, but you want to tow.
Ah, what should I be looking to avoid with the MKS? I thought they were nicer than the MKZ - at least for my purposes. I liked the MKX's AWD option, but maybe there is a known issue with that?
Nvm, mkx is alright was thinking of another one. Problem with the mkx and mks 3.7L is the water pump failures. Expensive repairs when they go. Some 3.5l ecoboosts have timing chain problems, also have to worry about turbo failure (not common).
that is very very cheap man
You're not wrong. Non-profit job = low budget. (Worth it - I like what I do.) That said, I'm expected to meet and, on occasion, drive well off donors and volunteers.
I just would like something that isn't too embarrassing and has the options I want.
Volvo S80 or XC90 with the 6 cylinder in it. If I didn’t need to have a nicer car for work, I’d drive the S80. You can find all the features you’re looking for with a Volvo.
My 2005 S80 is still one of my favorite cars. I really enjoyed driving the XC90 but for a more sporty feel you’d want the S80.
If you’d like a V8 they did offer that option for a few years but it’s not as reliable as the 6 cylinder.
If you go this route, find a Volvo or European tech to service your car.
The 2005 S80 seems to be similar to my 2000 Buick Regal, so you know what I'm talking about, lol! I don't really have any interest in a V8 - I'm just a old lady looking for a nice drive. I know some people with a 2015 S80... maybe S60... I'll try to see if they'll give me a test drive!
Id definitely recommend testing out an newer 2013-2015 S80. The S60 is nice and sporty as well but just smaller than the S80
I should add - I'm going to see the Hyundai Genesis tomorrow. Anything I should be concerned about? Is that not a good price?
I test drove one years ago that I really liked (as well as an Equus that I loved, but 16 mpg is hilarious.) It seems like they were really nice cars that people didn't take seriously because they are just a Hyundai. So they started a separate make and now I see Genesis everywhere. One owner has to mean a reliable car, right?
I’ve known a few people who own the earlier Genesis and love them. Can’t speak to anything you’d need to look out for but it’s a solid option for your needs.
REALLY big in China and also Buick is for the mid level professionals that want to look sharp and have some luxury without the cost and pretentiousness associated with Cadillac
Does anyone under the age of 65 drive a buick?
I'd take a Buick if they had a performance one. Personally I think some of them are the nicest looking cars we make.
I had an Enclave Avenir company car a while back. All my friends (25-30ish) joked about me driving it until they rode in it and they all really liked it. I liked it as well but outside of a performance car, our gm brands don't matter to me since many of our vehicles share a platform with another brand.
I do! 2018 Lacrosse and I'm <25 lol. AWD, 310hp V6, adaptive suspension, active nose cancelling, massaging/heated/ventilated seats, and tons more. It feels like a tank that just happens to also be moderately athletic, no idea why they're slept on so much
It is the case. You can find varied datasets, this one is from 10 years ago so it’s a bit outdated. The average Buick customer was 60.3 in 2013. Only Lincoln had older customers
It's the brand that won't die.
I bought an Oldsmobile, they killed it off.
Later I bought a Saturn, they killed it off.
Then I bought a Buick, and they just can't seem to find a way....
Old people fucking love Buicks
Not just them, but they've been a solid conquest brand from other premium brands, like Acura and Volvo, as well as strong with female purchasers.
Also, the average age has been trending downward
Huge in China! It’s a Status symbol if you own a Buick there. Maybe the equivalent to some sort of luxury foreign car here. I know for a while they were buying up all the classic Buicks they could get their hands on.
What is the envista then? I notice a lot of similar components with other GM vehicles. Among new cars (work at multiple dealers, mostly big 3 and little bit of foreign market, I love it. Makes me think of an upgraded Chevy trax which with the knee ones I wouldn’t complain of owning
That is how Buick was saved after the 2009 bankruptcy. The automotive task force wanted GM to only have 2 brands...Chevrolet and Cadillac. The strength of Buick in China spared the Buick-GMC dealer network.
Coming up on 1 year with this vehicle! I never saw myself as a Buick owner but this has been an amazing vehicle!
The ST trim. I’m a heavy driver have done several roadtrips and almost 30K my first year between work commutes and other forms of travel.
I have the sister car a ‘24 2RS Trax with 30k on it, 18 months old and I am on the highway everyday 80 miles round trip, plenty of power. If the three cylinder continues to treat me well my next one will be the Envista ST. The Buick comes with more amenities than the Trax.
Nice!!! I hit 1 yr in early July. I am just hitting 37500 and needing oil change, prob tomorrow night.
No big complaints at all, and gas mileage is awesome.
I feel better about my mileage now! lol I feel the same! The ride, gas mileage is amazing. Just maintenance and going!
Wife and I drive the hell out of our cars. Her 2018 jetta is reaching 200k. Funny thing about that? I've never even touched the front brakes, and only did the rears at 170k.
We are looking at equinox ev to replace the jetta but sadly all the lt1 packages are gone since the ev credit got announced to be fading out. Gm sold 8500 evs last month, up 115% ridiculous
Its gorgeous! We are nearly at the one year mark with our ST and absolutely love it. No complaints. Tremendous value.
Yes! It is a tremendous value, a Buick fan.
Guys. Serious question for you. One concern I have is the speed. Is the Envista really as slow ‘some’ folks claim?
No, it is perfectly fine and picks up pretty good with the turbo. It’s not for racing it’s for getting you to where you want to go.
In my experience, no. I have let other people drive my car and many say it feels faster than cars they own with more horsepower. The car is light which seems to balance out the smaller engine.
If this color was in the preferred, I would've done this color
I fell in love with this color haven’t seen many with this one since getting it!
Yeah just wasn't gonna pay that much more money to get the color
best affordable buick car
Key Considerations for Affordable Buick Cars
Model Options: Buick offers several models that balance affordability with features. The most notable affordable options include the Buick Encore and the Buick Envision.
Fuel Efficiency: Look for models with good fuel economy to save on long-term costs. The Encore, for example, typically offers better fuel efficiency compared to larger models.
Safety Ratings: Check the safety ratings from organizations like the IIHS or NHTSA. Buick vehicles often come with advanced safety features, which is a plus.
Warranty and Reliability: Buick generally offers a competitive warranty (typically 3 years/36,000 miles basic warranty and 5 years/60,000 miles powertrain warranty), which can provide peace of mind.
Resale Value: Consider the resale value of the model you choose. Some Buicks hold their value better than others, which can be important if you plan to sell or trade in later.
Recommendation: The Buick Encore is often regarded as the best affordable Buick car. It combines a compact size with a comfortable interior, good fuel economy (around 25-30 MPG), and a starting price that is generally lower than many competitors in the subcompact SUV segment. It also offers a range of tech features and a smooth ride, making it a solid choice for budget-conscious buyers. If you need more space, the Buick Envision is a slightly larger option that still offers good value.
