When considering the best e-bike for a tall individual, particularly someone who is 6'8", there are several factors to take into account. Based on discussions from various forums, here are some key considerations and recommendations:
Frame Size and Fit
For taller riders, finding a bike with an appropriate frame size is crucial for comfort and safety. Most standard bike shops do not stock frames larger than 61cm, which can be problematic for someone who is 6'8". It's important to ensure that the bike frame is large enough to accommodate your height without compromising on comfort or safety [2:1]. Some brands like Trek offer bikes up to 64cm, which might be a viable option for very tall riders
[2:12].
Custom and Specialized Brands
For very tall individuals, custom bikes or specialized brands may be the best choice. Dirtysixer is a brand that specifically designs bikes for tall people, offering sizes suitable for riders up to 7'5" [2:7]. Another brand mentioned is Canyon, which offers XL and XXL sizes that may cater to taller riders, although some users noted issues with stack height for those with long legs
[2:5],
[2:11].
Adjustments and Modifications
If you find a bike that is close to fitting but not quite perfect, consider making adjustments such as changing the stem or using a longer seat post to improve fit [1:5],
[2:9]. However, some users caution against trying to modify an XL bike to fit someone significantly taller than the recommended size range, as it might not provide a comfortable ride
[3:4].
Test Rides and Professional Fitting
It's highly recommended to test ride any potential e-bikes before purchasing, especially for tall riders who may have difficulty finding a good fit [2:2],
[2:10]. If possible, work with a bike shop to bring in a suitable frame for testing. Additionally, getting a professional bike fitting can help ensure that the seat post height and saddle position are adjusted correctly for your height
[2:9].
In conclusion, while finding the perfect e-bike for someone who is 6'8" can be challenging, exploring different brands, considering custom options, and ensuring proper fit through test rides and professional fittings can help you find the right bike. Brands like DirtySixer and Canyon may offer suitable options, and modifications to existing models could also be a solution if a perfect fit isn't readily available.
Bro saw someone glaze Emilia and decided to try to make it to Broad level
Nahhh broad would write a 3 page essay
Emilia: hm. Arigato. Subaru always say it as well. Hes reeeeeally a good boy.
Sis telling the truth🤍💜
Okay, which one of you gave Subaru internet access?
I have my 720s at 1682 7-4-10-10 and although it has bad acceleration, its speed, nitro efficiency being extremely good makes it up and from what I see it appears to have good secondary acceleration, could be wrong bout that
If it is working for you, you aren't wrong about it. I have used inferior cars S class in the past when it was all that i had and I came in 2nd or 3rd a lot but always got to 1800 and had fun with it.
Even if you mp tune it just below 1772 it is still bad due to poor acceleration. Handling and nitro are really good though. GL should rebalance the car.
GL isn't gonna rebalance it, we all know that. Also, you don't NEED acceleration to be good if you're an extremely skilled player, considering its other stats are borderline PERFECT.
10/10

I gave up my car in my chapter 7 bankruptcy. Had my 341 meeting and I'm currently waiting for discharge. I plan on holding off on getting a new car until they come get my old one but I'm wondering what everyone's experience has been with purchasing a new car. So far I've been seeing really high interest rates did yall see a change after you were officially discharged? Tia !
Keep in saying on your current car till you are ready to buy another. They will not take current car if you keep paying on time payments

Higher interest rates and higher insurance premiums. Somehow the insurance companies correlate bad credit with bad drivers which is totally BS If you ask me
Before discharge, they theoretically give you a "bankruptcy rate" because you don't have a score; after discharge, they set the rate based on your actual score. What that means varies for everyone.
What interest rate have you been seeing? If your interest is still to high after discharge since you’re starting over. You could definitely refinance. I know someone who refinanced their car 4 times . I never asked how low she got her car payment to.
Just wanted to ask what car y’all started to learn driving/drive in and what car you would realistically buy as a first car.
[deleted]
A wolksvagen Golf 3 was the one i owned, the first i sctually got to drive was a military GD.
First car I ever drove was either my moms suv or the old station wagon, first car is a Volvo s60, first car I would buy, preferably another Volvo
My ideal first car is a 2010 Dodge Challenger. You can find one used for under $6500.
Lol that thing is gonna get stolen, You should think about some security measures like a killswitch

Relax kid, you can't call a 130ho tdi engine a sleeper, tractor maybe.
I mean, at least he has a car, and tdi cars have bad fame but because of the people how drive them not because its bad 😉
Eh they pull out of corners harder than a ep3 type R at slow speed, these diesels dont have the top end but they perform really well in the twisty corners and dont have to change gear constantly. You can just leave it in 3rd and it will pull from 2000 to 4500rpm. (I had an ep3 type R and a skoda fabia 1.9 tdi)
That's also the same for a e46 320d, I just stay in 3 gear and go, for me at least in portugal its perfect, petrol engines are good in a straight, diesel its good for the exit of curve because of the instant binary, I can maintain my car close to a golf r (300hp) but then in the straight of course i lose the guy 😅
Compared to what I was driving it is lol
Btw idk if u have "touge" in england, but here in Portugal i also have a diesel car, a 6 speed manual e46 320d touring with about 186hp and 410nm and in the exit of curve the cars just fly
I would probably stick with the akina speed stars sticker as I think it would suit the car itself well
Yeah could do tbf

Hey there! Czech here, great choice, I love that you consider it a "sleeper" :D
I'd personally see the Škoda RS's of this generation as having a very Night Kids vibe :)
If it was black definitely yes not sure if it works with the grey but im very tempted to
The 1965 Buick Skylark Gran Sport kicked off Buick's muscle car heritage.

Going fast with class. Beautiful car.
The bottom picture is the same angle a buddy of mine had of his car. Looks exactly the same, black '65 GS. He also has a '71 GS. He sold his '65 which was instrumental in me acquiring my '69 Chevelle. The 19 y.o. kid that bought his '65 GS sold me his Chevelle. Of course, I was only a kid too at 23 y.o. (1986)
My neighbor had a flawless dark blue 66 that he sold a few years back. The guy he sold it to drove it through the front of a tattoo shop. I coulda cried.
I saw one of those recently in a salvage yard
This was my first car 1965 Buick Skylark Gran Sport 401 big block 4 speed manual transmission and posi traction it was awesome. 😋😁
Im turning 25 in October and I want to celebrate it by renting a sports car preferably a Mustang but any performance car would do.
Just go to a dealership and ask for a test drive 👀
I saw that on TikTok, Kushal.Mat renting cars. Don't know him personally but at least you've got his contact details.
Do you really want to look like a mafia guy?
Ask Wendip Appaya. He usually does this /s
I got an old sedan with a broken alternator that I want to donate to an organization. I know there are plenty out there to donate to. I just want to know what my options are. It would be best if they could come pick it up for me and tow it away.
If you know of any places that take cars and could tow it from culpeper, VA , please tell me in the comments! Thank yall so much
Better off selling for cheap on Facebook or offer up. Sell it cheap and it will be gone quick. Donate the money or portion if you want. Tax write off isn't what a lot of people think. Plus the charities also get pennies on the dollar unless they process and sell the cars which almost none do.
Many charitable organizations use the same back end service provider (https://careasy.org/) to handle the actual logistics of getting the car and moving on to the next step (sale, auction, disposal, etc.) So, pick an organization that you'd like to support and there's probably a link on their website to donate your vehicle, or go through the link above.
I donated a car a few years ago using this service and it was all very easy. I know people at the nonprofit that benefitted and they confirmed that a high percentage (80%?) makes it to the nonprofit. I set an appointment, the pickup driver came to me, loaded the vehicle on, gave me a receipt to show it was picked up. Later, when my car did get more than $500 at auction, I was sent a receipt for tax purposes showing the actual amount. (If it's less than $500 you can just deduct $500 with no receipt).
Also, avoid Kars for Kids. Gets very low ratings for the amount that actually gets to the charity.
NPR takes car donations.
I believe the National Kidney Foundation? accepts junk cars.
I live just outside of Charlottesville and donated my car to the Purple Heart Foundation a few years ago. It was no longer running and they towed it out of our barn. I recommend the careasy.org the other commenter mentioned. It was really easy to arrange!
Thanks so much
